There was issues with the shower water being too hot, practically burning 😅 Due to the fact that we were only staying one night, I mentioned it in the morning before checkout. The host said there shouldn't have been an issue so it could have been a one off. Hopefully they have fixed it as I actually was burning trying to shower.

The room itself was lovely and clean, the hotel manager was kind enough to give us a room even though booking.com messed up the booking. We were also given access to the garage to store our bikes which was nice. The hotel manager was a good person.

Booking.com cocked up the date and caused hours of problems before and afterwards. The hotel manager was pleasant but challenging to deal with, she is elderly and there was a language barrier, not her fault bless her but still difficult non the less. Breakfast started too late for us so we didn’t take part and the beds were really firm and uncomfortable, thats something personal to me though but either way I barely slept and woke up with aches and pains. The bathroom was mouldy around the shower and the wifi code was impossible to read, add that to the tv that didn’t work and no mobile internet signal and it’s a very boring evening for my 12 year old son. Also the fridge was very noisy but we just turned it off eventually.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The room was clean and the beds were really comfy. The breakfast experience was amazing! Yummy food, choice and hospitality was so lovely. Such friendly host and staff. We wanted to stay and chat all day! Plenty of parking and a lovely communal lounge. Situated in a quiet area with lovely views. Would highly recommend and will be back.

It was very hot ( not the fault of course of the owners ) but with climate change might need to factor that in - also while the bedroom was very clean and very good size - it's a pity the actual bed wasn't bigger as the room could have accommodated a larger bed

The room I was in had two settings on the shower: a dribble or scalding hot.

The guest house was cosy, rooms very well sized and comfy beds. It was located within breacon beacons national Park, and within 30 minutes drive of most popular attractions in the area. Breakfast is large but tasty, with meat free options and a steady supply of tea and coffee. The host was very caring, providing insights into local attractions and making sure we enjoyed our stay.

A great place to stay if you are planning on exploring the national park. Cardiff central is only about an hour drive away as well. Breakfast is also very nice.

Die Lage ist für Wanderungen mit Autoanreise sehr gut. Die "englischen" Frühstücksteile (Eier, gebratene Tomate und Champignons...) werden frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist sehr nett.

Die Dusche in der Badewanne hat kein kaltes Wasser und war in unserer Hitzeperiode zu heiß und daher nicht zu nutzen. Die nicht-englischen Frühstücksteile (Müsli, Saft, Toast, Obst...) waren unterdurchschnittlich.

Staff were ultra friendly. The breakfast was super lush. The property was in a fairly quiet location. Lots of pubs and restaurants around in nearby towns. Plenty of parking too. Would book again without hesitation. The owner, in her 80s, is an inspiration and her and her staff all sat down together for tea after breakfast, which was lovely to see. Very welcoming. Facilities in the room were great including fridge and TV.

Decor was slightly outdated but clean and tidy.

Everywhere was spotless. The rooms were of 5star hotel quality. Our room light and airy, very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities.

We had an unfortunate experience in the height of a heatwave in that the shower in our room didn't work properly so was boiling hot. After some discussion and thanks to one of the staff, Jackie, we were offered another, larger room. However, that shower also ran very hot so we resorted to using the bath taps instead. It would be nice to have somebody to 'meet and greet 'on arrival rather than keys and a note, especially if (as we had) there's a problem.

arrived at b&b temp 34 deg outside and walked into the hall to the room The temp dropped to about 16 deg the room was the same no fans or air con in the room it was cool all night managed to sleep all night. Breakfast was excellant choice of cooked breakfast full English or or as you require it cereal or toast coffee tea fruit juice yogurt

the bed was a bit hard & the sheets were tightly tucked in so you could not move but got round it the shower was to hot but the owner was getting the plumber in to fix

A great little b&b. Lovely and quiet and peaceful. Close to some great walking and to eateries in Merthyr, 10 mins in the car either way for both. Lovely friendly staff and a great breakfast to start the day. Highly recommend it.

The heating in our room wasn’t on when we arrived but that was easily sorted. The water in the shower was very hot and for my wife only just bearable despite being on the coolest setting!

It was nice to talk to the owner who seemed to care deeply about her family business. The location was good, the bus stops in either direction we at the end of the track. Also the car park is round the back of the property which is good for peace of mind.

We had a lovely stay, the place felt like staying with family the owner Moyra and her team were all so nice and charming. The room was very spacious and comfortable, there was good parking space in the yard and the breakfast was wonderful, cooked well with very good ingredients (my partner kept complimenting the quality of the sausages). Very short drive to go explore the Brecon Beacons, and other beautiful places in the area. Thanks Moyra and the team, all the best!

Fantastic stay with wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings. The room was warm and clean and well provisioned with coffee, tea, soaps and towels. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, I loved this and will definitely stop by again. Side note, extremely good for a motorcyclist as there is out of sight parking giving you piece of mind that your bike is secure.

Staff were really accomodative and sooo nice. We will definitely visit and stay there again.

The location of the Guest House is Perfect, 5 minutes away from Merthyr and Bike Park Wales right next to a historic reservoir but it could be a million miles away, its location is amazing, the Property is quiet and clean, the staff are so helpful around breakfast time. The room is also serviced, amazing for a property that is a B&B, price amazing value for money.

Location is absolutely perfect for walking in the Brecon Beacons. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for an overnight stop. Breakfast was excellent and the staff we're lovely.

Proper coffee and not just instant would have been good. But this is a very minor point.

The host "Moyra" was very likeable and nothing was ever too much, the ladies (staff) we met at breakfast were both very cheery and the breakfast was lovely. Many thanks and we will be back some day. ;-)

We had a very comfortable room with a good view. Although the guest house is near a main road, this was very quiet overnight. The owner and her staff are very friendly and served up a cracking breakfast. You do have to drive a bit for an evening meal. There's a place a few miles along the main road, but we drove to the Red Cow in Ponsticill which does solid pub food and is pretty cheap for both drinks and food - recommended. But be aware the kitchen may close around 7.30 pm

The guest house was a great place to stay, the building had a lot of charm, plenty of on site parking, the room was comfortable and spacious. The full breakfast tasted amazing and was made up of good quality ingredients. The owner Moyra and staff were lovely and friendly and I would happily stay here again.

No evening meals are served here which is a shame as I'm sure they would be just as good as the breakfast but I understand why. It's a bit out of the way of any pubs or restaurants unless you drive so if you plan on having a few drinks you'd have to taxi it.

This is the second time I have stayed at this wonderful BnB, I came a few years ago after hiking Pen Y Fan and had such a wonderful stay when it came to coming back to hike again with my teenage daughter there was no question I would revisit Llwyn Onn and the lovely friendly Mora. It is a short distance by car from Pen Y Fan and so picturesque. Mora kindly arranged for the heating to be on so the room was nice and warm when we arrived after a long day of hiking. The room was spotless and we had a wonderful night sleep. We were greeted by the most wonderful lady for breakfast, which was delicious and myself and my daughter enjoyed a chat with her and a real giggle. Mora, even with an injured leg made an effort to come and say goodbye to us and meet my daughter. If you are looking for a warm and friendly stay in the area I highly recommend this BnB. A stay away isnt just about the property its also about the people who run it and I can promise you they are wonderful women to meet. Take good care Mora, Nancy and I will be back later this year.

Free parking at the door. Really easy check in. Large bedroom and en-suite shower/toilet. Nice and warm. Sparkling clean. Great breakfast. Friendly and chatty staff (reminded me of the ‘Golden Girls’). 🎄great to see a Christmas tree up, just added to the warm atmosphere.

Breakfast has a narrow window, and at 08.15 to 09.15 is a little late. To turn this into a positive the ladies cooked my breakfast at speed. Great service 🥳

The location was amazing to do lots of walking and exploring and somewhere warm and cozy to come back to after being out in the cold we climbed pen y fan early one morning and was packed. Bacon sandwiches and goodies for the trip by the hosts ! We also visited the visitor centre up the road for lunch and a great walk and the many reservoirs in the area and we also got a taxi to Merthyr Tydfil for a meal and drinks amazing stay x
