Good location

Toilet had dripping sound constantly. Bathroom smelled faintly like a sewer. No human contact. Only continental breakfast

The security codes on the doors were stressful. Kept saying locked out and low battery . Took numerous times of tryin to get into house and room and couldnt even go to bathroom without code to get into bathroom.. when the code did work on door on room then the door kept sticking. Tried ringing the number of host provided but it said number wasnt available. Was very stressful worrying about it working after returning at night

Location good and bed comfy and bottles of water provided - staff friendly. Continental breakfast was plentiful, fresh fruit and lots of choices

The location was perfect for me. You only see one member of staff as the hotel is self service, however she was really pleasant and helpful.

The room was small but ok for 1 person. The bathroom fittings were going rusty & generally looked a bit tired & grubby.

Older style B&B. Rooms have been renovated but need a little maintenance eg shower temperature adjuster and vertical blinds need repair. Room is small but adequate with lovely views over the city. The bed is small. Location is excellent with street parking and many local attractions are within easy walking distance. Self check-in is well managed.

The room was clean, spacious, and charming. There were good facilities - TV as well as kettle and tea/coffee and clothes hangers. The breakfast was absolutely great - I am so glad I decided NOT to skip it! There were cereals, bread, pastries, cheese, cold cuts, juice, tea/coffee, yoghurts, fresh fruit... (and probably more I am forgetting). A dressing gown was provided - obviously to make trips to the external bathroom.

I really felt it was unfair and a bit cold to have signs saying no food or drink allowed in the rooms... I have travelled and stayed in a lot of places at home and abroad and have never seen such a sign. Many hotel guests appreciate sometimes being able to eat and drink in their rooms that they're paying good money for, so I disagree with this. I believe the reason given was that they use 'quality bedding'... I think the priority for most guests is comfortable and clean bedding rather than how expensive it is, and worrying about the consequences of dropping a crumb - at least that's what it felt like, so it was uncomfortable. My room did not have 'garden views' and I do not know what 'chocolate for guests' means... The bathroom, although private, was not en suite (and down a flight of stairs). Outside the shower there is some kind of ledge that is completely 'toe stubbable', unfortunately. Having to enter 6 digits and a symbol as a code each time for entrance (3 doors in my case) was a pain...

Beds were uncomfortable, tv in room did not work properly, bathroom door lock was faulty and you get stuck in the bathroom, room was hot and no fan. There was peeling paint in the room, it needs a lot of work. Downstairs amenities were good but the TVs were disabled so you couldn’t use them. Staff were not friendly or helpful at all. There is only staff there at breakfast .

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was excellent, situated in a quiet neighbourhood where we felt completely safe, yet only a short walk from the city centre. Our family room had a unique L-shaped layout and a beautifully designed interior that felt cozy and welcoming. It was spotless, comfortable, and had a lovely view over the city. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and offered plenty of options to choose from. It’s always a nice touch when a property puts extra thought into its design and guest experience.

Nothing worth mentioning. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

The property was fine and the breakfast was just what I needed after which I was so grateful for the lift offered me to the station by the Polish guy who helps out at the hotel

If I had to fault the property in any slight way, it was its distance from the station but thankfully (see above) I didn’t have to walk there in the heat of the morning

We stayed in Serendipity a few years ago and it was wonderful so thats why we chose to stay there again but it has changed sp much we were given room number 5 which was tiny bed so uncomfortable and so were pillows the bathroom was really small aswell there was a smart Television on the wall but had no channels at all when we went down for breakfast we were told it was just continental no cooked breakfast i asked the woman serving was there no cooked food and just was told no which was really disappointing as this isnt stated on the booking web site and also there used to be a bar were you could sit which is now closed also to be totally honest Derry is a great city but if we go back i wouldn't stay here again also 1 more thing its all coded so the code to the front door is also the code to your room so every paying customer gets the same code so everyone can gain excess to anyone of the rooms.

Totally honest nothing wouldn't go back to stay here its went downhill so much.

Location was great. Parking was on the street outside. Would have liked a fry for breakfast but not an option continental was the healthier option anyway. Would definitely stay there again

The bathroom was extremely small and felt quite cramped, making it uncomfortable to use.

We didn't stay it showed that there was a bar and restaurant but there was none .The owner said they sent was a code to get in but didn't come through he had to come down and let us in he wasn't happy about he wrote the code down for us then we went up to room it smelt off stale smoke and was not like any off the rooms that was shown, would not recommend this to anyone

La chambre était toute petite et pareil pour la «  salle » de bain. Un effort pour monter tous les escaliers étroits au 2 ième étage avec les valises.

I paid £120 for single use of a small double room, which was acceptable value for money. I was allowed an early check-in with no extra charge.

Instructions for entry to the property were sent only by a message in the Booking.com app - with no backup email. I don't think I was even warned that such instructions would be required. It was only by good fortune that I happened to see the instructions, as I hardly ever look at Booking.com messages.

Good size and beautifully decorated room and sitting area. Super clean, quiet, comfortable bed and pillows. Charging port close to the bed. Wonderful to have a kettle, coffee, tea, and biscuit in the room. Even a robe!!! Very helpful staff. Great breakfast with assortments of bread, coffee,cheeses, fruit, yogurt, cereals, juice, ham, and chorizo. I couldn't have asked for more for my stay.

Everything was excellent just wished I didn't have to go down a flight of stairs for the private bathroom, but I knew when booked it was not in suite. The uphill walk to the property from town was also a little bit hard but accomplishable.

Das Zimmer ist ohne Klimaanlage und heizt sich bei warmen Temperaturen sehr auf. Das Bad ist sehr winzig, der Waschtisch in der Ecke kaum zu benutzen. Wenn man aus dem Bad geht, tritt man Teils in Nägel vom Teppich davor.

Kleiner kann ein Zimmer nicht sein. Das Bad musste rückwärts betreten werden, da ab Schuhgröße 43 kein Wenden möglich war. Null Platz als Ablage für Koffer oder Wäsche. Alles war heruntergekommen und hatte mit den Bilder auf Booking nix gemeinsam.

Bathroom was so small that your were crashing into things. The sink was slow to drain and so close to the handbasin.

The property was clean. Breakfast was included. Good range, continental style. The proprietor was helpful and responsive.

It was just a bit too far out of the city of Derry for us and the walk back was all up hill. We got a taxi one night which cost £7. Also our room was on the top floor, bit small as well as the obvious climb.

One critical failure. This was sold as private bathroom. Yes it is technically but it's impossible to Access away from room. It's a complete joke really. Code did not work . A complete disaster.avoid this place.

Die Lage des B&Bs war optimal. Man war sehr schnell in der Innenstadt. In der Straße hat man immer einen Parkplatz gefunden. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich sauber.

Die Ausstattung wirkte alt und abgenutzt, auf den Bildern wirkte alles gehobener. Das Badezimmer des Zimmers war auf der anderen Seite des Flurs. Die Heizung war zu hoch eingestellt, so dass es im Zimmer sehr warm war, mit offenem Fenster ging es dann, was mir aber sehr verschwenderisch vorkam.

The breakfast was lovely! Large choice of cereals, fruit, pastries, juice, tea, coffee. The shower was very nice. The bed was comfortable. Nice quiet street. Having arrived early, I was able to leave my bag and the staff member who let me in said she would take it to my room when the room was ready.

Touchscreen locks!! I went to the house at the time expected (3 pm). I did not know I had been sent an e-mail with the code - at 6 am on my arrival day (I was told), when I did not have my laptop turned on. A member of staff answered the Ring (?) doorbell remotely, and tried to give me the code, which did not work! He came to the house and the code did not work for him either!! He changed the code, this one worked fine. The heating in the room and bathroom was on all night, which apart from being wasteful and unnecessary, made the room uncomfortable.

Disappointing as we booked as a group but where then divided up between two properties and two rooms were in another b&b across street, said due to rooms being damaged by flooding however there was others booked in unsure as why our group weren't kept together and others across street. We also weren't made aware of this until morning off arrival just mesage with name and key code, had to figure out wasnt even in the same building, if had been aware of this sooner would have booked else where. Also has it on pictures a bar area however this has been boarded up and not in use was not made aware of this when booking. No communal area to sit particularly in evenings if wanted to have a drink. False advertising, advised recent flooding however from other reviews this has been over a year. Also ring cameras throughout house which is uncomfortable understand for security reasons but think this should specified on advertisment., breakfast staff were generally pleasant and helpful.

La habitación era diminuta y no había apenas sitio para poner la ropa La cama era diminuta, para una persona vale pero para dos es incomodísima. Tampoco se podía acceder al lavabo del baño fácilmente., era diminuto y estaba en una esquina tapado por la ducha. Había poco jabón y el dispensador estaba roto.

Ausstattung und Frühstück waren Super. Es gab einmal Probleme mit dem automatischen Checkin, weil die Batterie nahezu leer war. Der Betreiber kam aber und löste das Problem.

Camera piccolissima, non adeguata ad ospitare tre persone, soprattutto senza armadi e senza possibilità di appendere le cose, era molto sporco, il letto non era matrimoniale come richiesto,ma da una piazza e mezza; materasso scomodissimo, lavandino attappato e impossibile da utilizzare; prodotti per il bagno inesistenti.

Clean, well situated, parking was never a problem and breakfast was great.

I stayed at serendipity only for one night. It was a really lovely room with an own charm. I stayed at the top and had a wonderful view over Derry. The location is great, you just need 20 minutes in the center by foot. The breakfast was a buffet, so you could chose between a lot of options.

The bathroom could be a little more cleaner.
