The cleaning staff and the spa staff were very nice.

Extremely disappointed – poor service and subpar rooms We booked a "Deluxe Room with Forest View" with a confirmed double bed, but were initially given a ground-floor room facing a tennis court two meters away with zero privacy. After complaining, the reception offered vague promises and only moved us after persistent insistence. The final room we received was extremely dark, located at the very edge of the property, and felt like a deliberate punishment. To make matters worse, we got two single beds pushed together with a huge gap in the middle, a leaking air conditioner, mosquitoes throughout the room, unusable Wi-Fi in the bathroom, and terrible noise insulation from the room above. The staff showed complete dismissiveness instead of basic service. All we asked for was what we paid for. On top of everything, the hotel food was tasteless and caused us severe stomach issues during our stay

We found that the hotel offered all the comforts we needed whether it was in the room or out by one of the pools. The great selection of places to meet our fellow friends and to eat and drink.. We loved the general vibe of the hotel.

I can’t think of anything specifically that we didn’t like.

Good location with direct access to the beach. Staff was incredible and very friendly and attentive. The restaurants offered a variety of food and there was nice live entertainment.

where to begin…. - we paid more to get a sea view room. we were unfortunately given one of the 2 rooms right at the end, so we had a view of the neighbouring hotels balconies, a big tree and if you lean you can see some sea. this was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable, as the guests from the other hotel all had a good view of our balcony and frequently sat outside topless. - Housekeeping started making a ruckus at 9am, so if you’re here for a relaxing holiday where you want to sleep in, don’t come here - the food at the buffet was subpar. The meats were very dry or oily, the selection was boring - the drinks at the pool were subpar aswell. - we booked all inclusive but it had many restrictions. The bar and the pool were only open from 10am. This included the cafe and the ability to even get a bottle of water. So you have to wait until 10? the pool closes before sunset at 6pm. So does the spa. The drinks for the all inclusive stop at 23:30pm. All these restrictions don’t create a relaxing atmosphere but rather make you try to fit your day around the hotels time. I never experienced such restrictions. The AI drinks choice was also confusing as certain cocktails weren’t included and had to be purchased.

The pools were nice and enjoyable. I also appreciated the flexibility with the half-board option. We could switch dinner for lunch if we wanted to, which was a nice touch.

The food was average at best, especially compared to another hotel we stayed at during our vacation. Although we booked half board, the hotel has a policy of charging extra for drinks during dinner — even water! This was disappointing, as I would expect at least water to be included with the meal.

The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. The rooms are nicely designed, the pools are excellent, and the beach is great. Also the greek restaurant is outstanding.

We booked the All Inclusive package, but in reality it felt more like “Almost Inclusive.” Almost everywhere you go, the first thing they explain is what is not included in your package. The general feeling is that guests are treated like walking wallets, with constant attempts to make you spend more money. Even the things that were included in the All Inclusive package were not always clearly presented. For example, there was a large, prominently displayed ice cream freezer with ice creams that cost extra, while the ice creams included in the All Inclusive package were kept in a much smaller, less visible freezer that was covered and easy to miss. It gave us the feeling that the paid options were deliberately made much more noticeable than the options already included in our package. The food was also disappointing for a five-star hotel. There was very little variety, with almost the same dishes served every day at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A lot of the food felt industrial or processed, there was a very limited selection of vegetables. The separate restaurants do provide some welcome variety. In addition, water is not supplied free of charge in the hotel, Guests who are not on the All Inclusive plan even have to pay for water, with a bottle at the hotel costing €3.50, or carry water from the local supermarket which is about 7-8 minutes walk away from the hotel. At last, the price that the hotel is charging for a taxi in thier website is 15€ higher than ordering a cab from the airport will cost you.

החוף מאוד נוח, הבריכות טובות והחדרים נוחים. גם ארוחות הבוקר מאוד נחמדות

הצוות קצת קלקל את כל החוויה. קיבלנו תחושה מזלזלת מהם וזה לאחר שקיבלנו את החדר באיחור וייבשו אותנו בלובי ואז גם לא הסבירו לנו כלום, לא מתי ארוחות הבוקר או מה יש במלון בכלל ופשוט לא התייחסו אלינו כמו אורחים אמיתיים.

Легко добраться с аэропорта воспользовавшись автобусом, у отеля красивый ремонт на 1 этаже и снаружи, в других местах чувствуется немного устаревшее оформление. Питание в основном ресторане (шведский стол) было хорошим, особенно впечатлили десерты. Чистый пляж, чистое море. Прекрасные аниматоры, они очень стараются. Коктейли на баре были хорошими, в том числе те которые для all inclusive, это порадовало, как и обслуживание там.

Было плохо убрано в комнатах. Горничные действительно стараются и уделяют довольно много времени на уборку, тем не менее, вероятно они не замечают грязные стены, двери, прилипшие к стенам волосы, на постели какие-то желтые пятна и мелкие волоски, это ужасно расстроило. Отдельные рестораны были не вкусными. Если вы считаете что имея all inclusive вы будете чувствовать себя хорошо - то вы ошибаетесь. Если на вас видят браслет all inclusive, то для вас автоматически перестают стараться, потому что у вас все деньги уже уплачены. В ресторане вам дают отдельное меню с блюдами худшими чем для тех кто платит на месте. Почти все блюда без мяса и рыбы, все «недорогое». Если вы вдруг думаете что можете заказать разные блюда - то нет, на вас осуждающе посмотрят и скажут что разрешено заказать только одно блюдо, один десерт и одну закуску, при том, что многих блюд не было в наличии. Также официанты не знают что входит в блюдо, не ориентируются ни в чем. В ресторане валялось куча еды на полу, столы не убирались. На полу лежало куча разбросаной пасты, которую просто сметают со стола на пол и всё. Это было ужасно. Также вы можете посещать ресторан только в обед, на ужин нужно платить деньги. Очень не хватало какой-то развлекательной программы, вечером довольно скучно, люди просто играют в карты или другие настольные игры (их они привезли сами) и все. Очень не хватало какого-то концерта, музыки, или dj.

ארוחת בוקר מעולה ומגוונת. נוף מושלם מהחדר אל הים. צוות מקסים שעזר בכל בקשה. חופשה פשוט מושלמת :)

Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu 😊 hotel pięknie położony, plaża praktycznie przy samym hotelu, możliwość przemieszczania się komunikacją miejską, bliskość restauracji i sklepów. Do tego kapitalna obsługa- z indywidualnym podejściem, uśmiechnięta i zawsze pomocna. Pokoje przestronne i czyste. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne

וואו וואו וואו איזה מלון מושלם! הצוות אדיב בצורה בלתי רגילה! הכל נקי נוצץ! מגוון בריכות. עשינו עיסוי והיה מושלם. אכלנו ארוחת בוקר וערב, היה מבחר והכל מוגש בצורה אסטטית ומזמינה. כל יום חיכתה לנו הפתעה בחדר וכמובן ההפתעה הראשונה ששדרגו אותנו לסוויטה עם בריכה פרטית. חזרנו בעננים! תודה לכם! ממליצים בחום

החוף סלעי אז כדאי להצטייד בנעליים מתאימות (מוכרים כאלה בכל מקום) באוכל אנחנו לא אכלנו בשר אז כדאי באותה ארוחה להציע 2 סוגי דגים. אבל זה באמת פינוק..

They claim they are a 5 star hotel but I would rate them a 2 star the staff at reception not all were nothing but rude and were no help whatsoever we came from Australia for my daughters wedding and at least 30 of the guests booked there as well and everyone was disappointed with the hotel and staff

Good Hotel with a Great Location and Amazing Views We stayed at this hotel for three nights as a couple with a child. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend the hotel, especially compared with other options in the area. The location is very convenient, close to Rhodes Town, and the view over the bay is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was varied, fresh, and tasty, and the service throughout the hotel was generally very good. One of the highlights is definitely the hotel’s private adults-only spa area, which is excellent. I highly recommend booking a treatment and taking some time to enjoy it. We enjoyed our stay. The combination of the location, beautiful views, good breakfast, friendly service, and excellent spa makes it a good and recommended choice in the Rhodes Town area.

There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The rooms are quite small for two adults and a child, and basic items such as bottled water and coffee capsules had to be requested again every day rather than being automatically replenished. Some areas of the hotel could also benefit from better maintenance, particularly around the lower pool.

The stuff in the spa was trying to sell you things and do the treatment as fast as possible so you could leave and next one come. It all felt a bit Like they tried to do things fast and with no care. No luggage support, poor cleaning

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe! Bushaltestelle nicht weit vom Hotel entfernt! Rhodos Altstadt ca. 10 Minuten mit Bus entfernt! Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden!

I didn't like the checkout "early breakfast" we checked out very early at 6 AM and told the reception about it. they said that they can arrange an "early breakfast" that contained only dry and very sweet cookies (not something I would start my 5 year old with) and filter coffee. Needless to say we didn't touch it. Not a even a bottle of water and a simple sandwich. very disappointing.

Hotel & Spa in Rhodes, and it exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Our suite with a private pool was simply amazing. It was beautifully presented, spacious, comfortable and gave us the perfect space to relax and enjoy our holiday. Having our own private pool was a real highlight and made the stay feel extra special. However, what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service from the wonderful team. A very special mention must go to Daria, Chris, Lia, Aois, Makis, Magda and Lydia. Every one of them went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, valued and genuinely looked after. Their warmth, kindness, professionalism and attention to detail made such a difference to our holiday.

Location was excellent, just 10mim ride from the old city, and plenty of restaurants and super markets near by. Breakfast was great.

The rooms were not sound proof and it was quite noisy.

The all inclusive deal is not working as expected. It's almost impossible to book a dinner at one of the restaurants. Most of the alcohol is not free and it changes in the verity of bars and time at the day.

Największe plusy: -kuchnia- jak na all inclusive bardzo dobre jedzenie, zróżnicowane, smaczne, szybko donoszono jak coś się skończyło, nie miałam żadnych problemów trawiennych- a to ważne bo mam bardzo delikatny żołądek, więc mogę śmiało powiedzieć że przeszli kontrolę jakości :) jedzenie jest świeże. W restauracji włoskiej też bardzo smacznie. -personel- wszyscy bardzo mili, pomocni, z niczym nie było problemu, często pytali czy mogą coś podać albo czy coś nam potrzeba (mielismy all inclusive) (zapamiętałam Panią Katherinę z restauracji Iliades- widzi wszystko, dba o wszystko i ekspresowo obsługuje i pana kelnera z baru przy basenie- też świetny). -duży teren, przez co ludzie się rozchodzili i nie było tak czuć tłumów, a chyba byliśmy w szczycie sezonu albo jakoś koło tego -duży pokój, w nocy w miarę cicho

De plus un restaurant est également réservé aux suites , il est excellent , de très bon poissons en particulier Le restaurant Italien est également délicieux Je vous conseille la pension complète

Das abwechslungsreiche und reichhaltige Buffet-Angebot waren sehr gut. Engagiertes und sehr freundliches Personal.

Die Poollandschaft scheint etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein und könnte etwas modernisiert werden. Auch das All-Inclusive Angebot ist leider sehr begrenzt, so sind z.B. Speisen und Snacks wie Clubsandwiches oder Pommes am Pool nicht inkludiert (es gibt lediglich eine Vitrine mit einer bescheidenen Auswahl an Sandwiches, Obst, Eis und Keksen). Schade fand ich außerdem, dass das Abendprogramm nur Indoor stattfindet.

הזמנו חדר עם נוף לים ולבריכה, קיבלנו חדר פונה לים בקומה ראשונה ושום נוף לא היה שם. לקח להם יומיים להעביר אותנו לחדר שהיה לשביעות רצוננו. היינו על בסיס הכל כלול, אבל לא הכל היה כלול. למשל סלטים בבריכה, גלידות, קוקטיילים וכיוב. האוכל היה בסדר, לא עפנו.

טריות של הירקות. של הפירות לא טריים במצב צבירה של תחילת ריקבון . לחם טרי יותר. צחלק מהגבינות לא טרייות . בשר שהוגש יום לפני מחוממם למחרת . ומוגש יבש מחימום יום אחרי. הצוות בחדר האוכל לא חיובי לא עומד הלצץ כאשר אנשים עומדים בתור להכנס

Umfangreiches Frühstück, zu den Stoßzeiten verständlicherweise etwas überlaufen. Strand fußläufig erreichbar, Kies/Sand, Liegen ausreichend vorhanden, welliges Meer

Poolarea war schon vor dem Frühstück mit Handtüchern ausreserviert. Vom Balkon beobachtet man, wie Gäste mit Handtüchern unter dem Arm zur Poolarea laufen um Liegen zu reservieren. Dann erst geht man zum Frühstück. Wir haben die Poolarea nicht verwendet, weil wir sowieso mehr mit dem Mietwagen die Insel erkundet haben, allerdings finde ich diesen Liegen-Reservierungs-Lauf schrecklich.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay celebrating a 60th birthday and were thrilled with a generous suite upgrade complete with Prosecco. The hospitality was exceptional from the entire team, and the dining was fantastic with a great variety of traditional Greek and international dishes for both breakfast and dinner.

Nothing bad to say at all—even with the hotel at full capacity, the service was seamless, warm, and attentive throughout our stay.

Honest Review of AMUS Hotel & Spa Rhodes We’ve just completed our first week at Amus Hotel & Spa in Rhodes, so I wanted to give an honest and fair review based on our experience so far. First of all, I’m not a snobby guest or someone who expects complete perfection. We’ve stayed in 5-star hotels before, and while we are having a lovely holiday here, I personally don’t feel the hotel consistently delivers the 5-star experience I would expect. The good points The location is excellent. You can get a taxi into Rhodes Old Town or Faliraki in around 10–20 minutes, and there are also some great restaurants, bars and entertainment within walking distance of the hotel. We found some lovely bars with karaoke nearby, which was great fun. There are two pools available. We much preferred the 11th-floor pool, as it felt quieter, more modern and cleaner. The ground-floor pool is less attractive in places, the surrounding grass can become muddy when wet, and the pool area itself can be quite slippery. We were half board and thought the food was absolutely fine. There was plenty of choice, the restaurant was very clean and the staff greeted us every evening. All of the staff work incredibly hard and were consistently polite and accommodating. Considering we visited during peak August, we were pleasantly surprised that we never queued for anything and always managed to get sunbeds for our party of five. The beds in the room are absolutely huge and very comfortable, and our towels were changed daily. The pool service was also good, and the gentleman looking after us was particularly helpful and polite. The reception area is lovely for sitting and relaxing, especially when you need to escape the heat. There are also plenty of trees around the pool areas, which provide some welcome shade. We hired a car through reception, which was really easy and made exploring the island much more convenient. Reception is also open 24 hours and the staff were always helpful whenever we needed anything. We’re also trying the spa during our stay, so I can’t comment on that just yet, although we’ve heard good things. What doesn’t feel 5-star There are quite a few smaller details that, when added together, make me question the 5-star rating. Pool towels can only be exchanged every other day, which doesn’t feel particularly 5-star to me. Some of the finishes in our room, particularly around the doors and balcony, look untidy and tired. The air conditioning is also controlled by the hotel, so you don’t have the freedom to adjust it yourself, which can be frustrating. The patio door in our room was so heavy and stiff to move only my husband managed it. The shower cubicle in our room is very small. Our other room had a bath, which was much better for the kids, but the shower in ours felt particularly cramped. We were staying on the 9th floor, directly below the restaurant, and unfortunately this meant a lot of noise early in the morning from chairs being dragged around upstairs. If you’re a light sleeper, I would definitely recommend requesting a room away from the restaurant. The lifts can sometimes be a bit of a wait, although considering we’re here in August, it’s nothing horrendous. There is a kettle in the room, but there were three of us staying and the coffee /tea & milk portions provided were so small that there was barely enough for one person. For a hotel marketed as 5-star, I would expect better tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. The sunbeds are another area that needs attention. Some are uncomfortable and quite a few are clearly worn, fraying or even falling apart. On some of them, the fabric has stretched so much that you feel like your bottom is almost on the floor! Overall Despite all of this, we are having a lovely holiday. The staff are fantastic, the location is great, the food is good and there are plenty of positives. My main point is simply that, having stayed in genuine 5-star hotels before, I don’t feel AMUS consistently reaches that standard. There are lots of relatively small things that could be improved, and I think addressing those details would make a significant difference to the overall experience. Would I say don’t come here? Absolutely not. We’re enjoying ourselves and would happily recommend Rhodes and the hotel to others. Would I personally call it a true 5-star experience? Not quite yet Hopefully the hotel takes comments like these constructively, because with a few improvements, it could be a really outstanding place to stay.

Fine but definitely not 5 star! We enjoyed our holiday at the Amus and there is plenty to like, but overall we didn’t feel the hotel lived up to its 5-star rating or the price we paid. It’s a perfectly good 4-star hotel and we’d consider returning at the right price, but wouldn’t pay the same amount again. Pros * Excellent reception staff and fantastic spa experience * Lovely beach with clear water and plenty of sunbeds * Good breakfast with plenty of choice * Comfortable, spacious rooms with excellent air-con and soundproofing * Beautiful reception areas and well-maintained hotel grounds * Great location in Ixia, with restaurants and bars nearby and easy access to Rhodes Town Cons * Overall standard, service and attention to detail don’t consistently feel 5-star * Ground-floor pool area feels cramped, tired and below the standard of the rest of the hotel * Food, drink and hotel facilities aren’t communicated particularly well to guests * Drinks at the ground-floor pool bar are expensive and very poor value * Some facilities and furnishings could do with upgrading * Service around the pool and beach can be inconsistent Room & service We booked a Deluxe Sea View room and were initially disappointed to be directly above reception, meaning our main view was the entrance/fountain area with the sea beyond. Reception were brilliant when I raised it and immediately showed us an alternative room on the 7th floor with a much better view. We actually chose to stay where we were as our original room was considerably bigger with a much larger balcony. I couldn’t rate the reception team highly enough. The room itself was comfortable, with great air-con, good soundproofing, robes and slippers, although I wouldn’t describe it as particularly “deluxe”. Housekeeping was generally fine, but occasionally lacked attention to detail – for example, a robe belt that had fallen on the floor was simply mopped around rather than picked up. Only one bottle of water was provided on arrival and wasn’t replenished during our week, which was another small detail that didn’t feel particularly 5-star. Food & drink Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and food replenished quickly. Staff were friendly and always found us a table as quickly as possible. Coffee could take a little while at busy times but I understand it was peak time and not a huge deal, and a coffee menu would have been useful – we didn’t discover iced lattes were available until our last day. On an early-start morning we arrived for breakfast opening at 7am, but pancakes and french toast weren’t available until around 7:20/7:30. We didn’t eat at the hotel’s restaurants, partly because information about the food and drink offering wasn’t particularly accessible. There was no hotel guide in the room and we weren’t given anything at check-in explaining the different restaurants, bars, spa etc. they did tell us briefly about breakfast times etc and that “X is on the 11th floor” etc but it was quite difficult to retain all the info given then. We later discovered QR codes were available from reception for the restaurants. Providing one QR code at check-in linking to all hotel information, menus, opening times and bookings would make a huge difference. The ground-floor pool bar was particularly poor value. Drinks were the same price as elsewhere in the hotel but served in much smaller plastic glasses, and one €12 cocktail we received was barely more than half full. We understand using plastic around a pool, but the portion and price should reflect this. Pools & beach The 11th-floor pool was pleasant and we could always find a sunbed. The ground-floor pool was a different experience – cramped, busy and quite tired, and it didn’t feel like a 5-star resort area. The pool toilets here were particularly unpleasant and could really do with refurbishment and more frequent attention. This was a stark contrast to the beautiful facilities around reception. The sunbeds at both pools and the beach generally felt worn and weren’t particularly comfortable. Pool towels could also only be exchanged every two days, which seemed unnecessarily restrictive for a 5-star beach hotel. The beach was much more enjoyable. It’s pebbly, but the sea is lovely and there were always plenty of included sunbeds. On one of our four beach days staff came around taking drink orders, which was great, but this wasn’t consistent. We also saw non-hotel guests walking in from the beach and using both the hotel’s beach facilities and ground-floor pool without any apparent checks. Spa & location The spa was fantastic. We had a couples massage with Vasilios and Luisa, who were both brilliant, and also enjoyed the hammam. This genuinely felt like the 5-star experience we’d expected elsewhere in the hotel. Ixia itself was ideal for us – close to Rhodes Town while still having restaurants and bars within walking distance. Whispers Restaurant, around a 30-minute walk away, was easily the best meal of our holiday and is absolutely worth visiting. We also enjoyed Coconut and Ixia Beach Bar, where we found the food and drinks particularly good quality and much better value than the hotel. There’s also an excellent, reasonably priced supermarket immediately to the left of the hotel. Overall We didn’t have a bad stay at all, and some aspects were genuinely excellent – particularly the reception staff, spa, beach and location. The issue is that lots of smaller details add up and don’t match the expectations created by a 5-star rating or premium price. For us, a good 4-star hotel rather than a 5-star experience. We’d return at the right price, but certainly wouldn’t pay what we paid this time.

We were pretty disappointed with this place on the whole. For a balanced review - POSITIVES - reception & cleaning staff all very friendly and helpful / polite. Other staff less so. Beds comfortable. NEGATIVES Firstly, the ‘deluxe sea view suite’ we had booked and were shown to, was really small. Like there was hardly any space between the foot of the bed and the wall small. Having raised this we were upgraded to a much bigger and nicer actual suite with a seating area - but if you aren’t upgraded you’re stuck in a small room- we were lucky. The road between the hotel and the beach, almost invisible in the photos, is significant. The beach looks miles away from the hotel. And the ‘private beach area’ (poorly maintained with scrappy loungers, nowhere to order drinks etc) - is right beside the road. So you get to listen to traffic if you sit there. The photos are deliberately deceptive. Food - very average. We’re stayed in lots of nice 4 and 5 star hotels with buffets - this was one of the worst. Poor quality / greasy meat, poor selection of salads, also queue for table every day. Food in the 11th floor bar was nicer. The taverna we tried one night - average. My main issue with this hotel however was the total lack of space / grounds to accommodate the nearly 700 people staying when it’s full!!! The main pool, so cleverly shot in the photos, is not nearly big enough or rather the space around it which is tired old decking or a strip of garden - is literally packed like sardines with loungers and no space. We didn’t manage to get space or a lounger on a single day of the 16 we were there. 11th floor pool ok but similarly packed All in all - they have built a huge hotel and not kept up the facilities to accommodate the number of guests. Our holiday would have been ruined by this if we hadn’t found and gone daily to, a lovely place down the road where we wished we had stayed - Villa di Mare - lovely rooms around a big pool, comfortable loungers and right on the beach.

Absolutely fantastic hotel with a great location for beach’s and Rhodes town. Spotless hotel with great food options in the restaurants and lovely staff. Katie especially was helpful at guest relations the whole stay, she helped us organise transfers daily for our activities, ensuring we got there on time safely and comfortably. Always a smile on her face! Couldn’t thank her enough for her help.

The hotel is old, does not feel like a 5star hotel. We asked the cleaners to clean our room the 2nd day we were there and they just made the bed and changed the towels. The floor was very dirty and i had to clean it myself. The breakfast was ok - nothing special for a 5star hotel. There was an accident with a spilled coffee at the pool area and the cleaners did not even bothered to come and clean it, despite the lifeguard’s call to the chief cleaner.

Nice Hotel, but the Spa Was a Major Disappointment We stayed at this 5-star hotel and spa in Rhodes, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the standards or expectations of a 5-star property. The food was genuinely excellent — high-quality, well prepared. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the cleanliness. For a hotel presenting itself as 5-star, the level of cleanliness was disappointing and fell short of what we expected. The biggest disappointment, however, was the spa. I paid €253 for a treatment advertised as a full-body scrub, massage and oil treatment, with a total duration of 110 minutes (70 + 40 minutes). What I actually received was very different. Only my back, arms and legs were treated — this was not a full-body treatment as advertised — and the entire appointment, including all treatments combined, lasted only around 90 minutes. That is approximately 20 minutes less than what I paid for. For €253, this is simply not acceptable. The treatment was already extremely expensive, but to then receive less than the advertised service made the experience feel seriously overpriced and misleading. I also raised the issue of the treatment and the significant difference between the price advertised online and the price I was charged. I was told that the online price was incorrect. Rather than offering a meaningful adjustment or refund, the only compensation offered was a facial “as a gift.” Given the circumstances, that response was disappointing and did not address the fact that I had paid for a service that was not delivered as advertised. A 5-star hotel should be held to a higher standard, particularly when charging premium prices. The spa experience in particular was nowhere near what I would expect for €253, and I would strongly recommend checking the exact treatment, duration and price before booking. My advice: enjoy pools and the restaurant, but think very carefully before booking any spa treatments. In my experience, the service, duration and value for money simply do not justify the price.

Fantastic family holiday in the Amus hotel. All areas spotlessly clean and the beds are the most comfortable we have slept in. Food is excellent and staff are all so friendly and helpful. Entertainment team are great especially Nichola. Highly recommend. Hotel is a 5 min walk from restaurants and bars.

Lukas is an incredibly skilled and professional massage therapis at Amis hotel and spa, I had a wonderful experience and felt relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire treatment. She is attentive, caring, and really knows what she is doing. Lucia makes sure you feel comfortable. I highly recommend Luisa to anyone looking for an excellent and professional massage therapist!

Myself, my husband and our 4 year old daughter have just come back from a week at Amus. In all honesty, this holiday was a real mixed bag! Like lots of places there were pros and cons but in our opinion it is not currently a 5* hotel!! Pros: The staff across the whole hotel were lovely especially the ladies in the suite reception! They were very helpful and great with our little one (Watch out for the lifeguard - fun police) Being allocated ‘suite only’ areas was a nice touch and considerably quieter than other areas of the hotel. Breakfast is very busy in the buffet so take advantage of al a carte restaurant. Food was great and we never had an issue with choice or food quality! Myself and my daughter had a spa treatment and they were great 👍🏻 Cons: ‘Extra or hidden charges’ really get my back up! Especially when we’d already paid a considerable amount of money for a suite! Little things that are just not necessary…certain ice creams, certain drinks, certain food in the restaurant, drinks brought to you on the beach, the mini bar (even in the suite)…all chargeable! Drinks in the bar after 11.30pm…chargeable! The hotel grounds are lovely but there are definitely areas of the hotel that are looking tired and in need of repair/maintenance or sprucing up. Entertainment…rubbish! Again not what you’d expect at a luxury hotel! Bingo, karaoke etc We’ve stayed in much better hotels for the same price and I do think that the 5 star rating needs revision.

Recently stayed at the Amus hotel in Rhodes Ixia (August 26) overall the hotel, staff and facilities are one of the best I have experienced; although there were some minor issues identified. The pool is located outside of the hotel down from the main reception area to the left hand side, although really good, anyone from the island can come into the hotel and use the facilities as seen throughout our stay. During busy periods this can be quite annoying for personnel who have paid to stay at the resort. Ants seem to be quite an issue at the hotel with the room we were staying in having quite a large number running around, hiding in drawers etc, if you are eating in your room ensure that you either leave the bin outside or take your rubbish to the bins allocated at the 3 lifts central to the hotel. This issue was also identified throughout the pool area outside of the main reception area. On arrival we were met by Dimitri the porter who swiftly took our luggage to the room. Always looking to help, make your stay better and give you any local advice he was really good to go to with any issues. Again Nikos the bartender located at the bottom pool area is always ensuring guests were well looked after, he is very hard working and always looking to make people smile. Rooms were cleaned daily, fresh towels provided and cleaned to a fairly high standard, we did have an issue one day with a cleaner not too happy that we hadn’t left the room before 0930 as she wanted in to clean. Other than that staff were extremely friendly and maintained high cleanliness standards. The spa was rather impressive. Treatments on the other hand are quite expensive compared to some on the island, however expected for a 5* hotel. Breakfast: if you do not like waiting in queues I would advise getting up and through breakfast before 09:00. Any time after this you may have a short wait time before being seated. Iced lattes, fresh coffee are served with a buffet style breakfast all of high quality, fresh and chilled. Strongly advise brining some form of water shoes for the area allocated at the far left hand side of the main pool area. These rocks can be quite sharp with gravel becoming loose and finding its way into the pool. The bottom pool (cleaned daily in the mornings) could do with some extra attention to remove all gravel parts that have come loose. Other than that, clean and chilled for this time of year. Overall really nice hotel, would highly recommend and would return.
