Reviewed Aug 8, 2026It is along the busy road but walk 10 minutes and you are in al lovely street full of cozy restaurants. The staff was very friendly and even gave free welcome drinks.
The room was cleaned and neat but the bathroom wasn’t spotless, some hairs from precious visitors were still in the shower.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Das Hotel ist ganz ordentlich. Die Lage ist ganz gut. Das Restaurant hat ein vernünftiges Angebot - allerdings haben wir ohne Frühstück gebucht und waren deshalb am 2. Tag außerhalb des Hotels beim Frühstück (im „La Tradicional“), und das war die richtige Entscheidung. Im Hotel gab es am Anreisetag einen kleinen Begrüssungscocktail und einen 10%-Rabatt auf das Abendessen im Hotelrestsurant. Großartig!
Leider ist das Hotel doch schon ziemlich abgewohnt. Und zweimaliges Wasserabschalten einfach nicht hinnehmbar. Warum an einem Sonntag Renovierungsarbeiten erforderlich sind, erschließt sich mir nicht. Aber daher war zur Checkliste-Zeit kein Wasser im Badezimmer verfügbar (Waschbecken, WC). Als Problemlösung wurde Zähneputzen in einem anderen noch nicht gereinigten Zimmer ermöglicht. Das finde ich eklig und nicht adäquat. Interessant ist, dass dieses Zimmer bei gleicher Austattung deutlich größer ist; man bekommt also über Booking mögl.-Weise nicht immer das beste Angebot … Alles hätte insgesamt eine „8“ erlaubt, ich gebe wegen der negativen Kritik eine „1“.

A 2 pas du terminal de bus, à côté du Chedraui et à 3 pas du centre. Je recommande et y retournerai avec grand plaisir.

Reviewed Mar 16, 202517.511784°, -91.990753° Tulija Palenque is close to the ADO bus terminal, restaurants, supermarkets such as Chedraui (next door) and OXXO and it is convenient for travellers going to the Palenque archaeological site (about 9 km away). The pool was much appreciated for relief from the hot weather. The bar offers a variety of drinks. The restaurant cannot compete with local restaurants and is best for breakfast. Some staff members spoke English. The hotel does not have elevators. In December, our room 225 (2F) at the rightmost corner of the hotel was spacious with comfortable double bed and good shower, but no minibar or refrigerator. Air-conditioning and Wi-Fi reception worked well and the room was reasonably clean and maintained. Overlooking the 5a. Avenida Norte Poniente, the street noise was not a problem for us, but might be for rooms at the intersection with busy Palenque-Pakalná Road. Hotel Tulija Palenque is known for its convenient location. It is a good base for exploring the Palenque ruins and is especially suitable for a short stay.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2024I was bracing myself to be underwhelmed but wanted something more modern after days of ruins and haciendas. The beds were reasonably comfortable, the shower was good, the air conditioning was fantastic and the pool was amazing. It has a zero entry area! Water was warm at first but was refreshing. Had great service of drinks in the pool. Friday night it was packed but Saturday was more calm. There was music on Friday until 11 pm and we had a room alongside the pool on the first floor but I wasn’t bothered. I was also exhausted. TV had loads of channels and CNN in English. Restaurant was quite good. We opted for room service breakfast which was good. The arracheras were great as was a chicken soup. It was a very nice two night stay for us.

Llegamos a las 4 PM cuando el checkin era a las 3 PM, y no estaban listas las habitaciones y nos entregaron hasta las 5 PM. Y la comida nos hizo mal a todos. los que nos hospedamos. Si algo no haré en el futuro es regresar o recomedar ese hotel.

They promised a fiscal invoice from the restaurant, they didn’t send it, they also refused to issue an invoice for my stay arguing Expedia must issue it. We were the first guests at the restaurant for breakfast, they opened late and the table assigned to us was dirty, bead crumbs all over the place and clearly visible food stains from the day before.

Reviewed Oct 31, 2022muy muy decepcionados a nuestra llegada recepción muy distante incluso arrogante nos informan que nuestra habitación no está lista y que no tenemos desayuno a pesar de que estaba incluido tuvimos que ser muy insistentes y sacar nuestras reservas captura de pantalla expedia para finalmente escuchar que sí de hecho, pero ni una palabra de disculpa, teníamos una habitación tranquila, nos dijeron que sí, que tendríamos una habitación al lado de la piscina cubierta, terminamos con una habitación en la esquina de 2 calles principales porque el hotel está en el centro de la ciudad. muy, muy, muy ruidoso, nos cambiaron a pedido nuestro, teníamos derecho a una habitación que la mitad en total daba al techo de la recepción y, por supuesto, al día siguiente en el desayuno nuevamente la agresividad nos dejó boquiabiertos haciéndonos pagar el desayuno cuando dijimos que era se incluyó para ver con la recepción fueron muy insistentes fuimos muy antipáticos nos tomaron por ladrones en frente de toda la gente no tuvimos disculpas cuando hubo la confirmación n de nuestros buenos derechos el peor hotel y especialmente bienvenido desde nuestro perible un mes en México 3 kilómetros más allá hay un hotel más barato y mucho más acogedor y menos ruidoso muy muy decepcionado además clientela muy desilusionada ruidosa e irrespetuosa con la gente tranquila junto a la piscina leer con niños que creen que están en disneyland y fumadores a pesar de que no se respeta la prohibición
