Suitable for family with kids as it offers a lot a activities in the compound. Has its own beach, that was nice.

My room upgrade to Presidential Suite upon arrival. Initially booked 2 rooms but this PS was super cool and luxurious room and very convenience for family.

Everything fine except TV not functioning. There is 3 big TV, I need to call maintenance to check end up living hall tv need to replace with one smaller. The time taken too long to settle the issues. They can provide more dustbins 🗑. Last day of staying, one of the toilets got issues.

- The spacious and newly renovated room. - The lighting in the room is adequate/bright - The hotel is a beachfront hotel. - The property seems to have been repainted recently. - The buffet breakfast was good with many varieties of food to choose from

I love the environment and view.

The room is not sound proof. Can hear people next door talking. Also can hear people walking at corridor. Really not comfortable and not enjoying to stay at my room. I was so tired and need sleep but can hear people voice. I do record their voice as i can hear clearly.

Very very bad expereince . i booked a " Sunset Family Room " for 2 nights ( it said " Newly Refurbished") . Date 22-24 August 2026. It cost RM1811.60. I booked this room on 22nd June 2026. However , when i arrived at the front desk, The receptionist told me i had been upgraded to better room type . i think it is called " Family Sea Front. It has 1 extra-Large double bed and 1 Bunk bed. Fortunately , it is not what i want i wanted to have 2 queen size bed . this room type doesnt suit my families ... Besides , when i go into this room , the floor is super super dirty and sticky . Also .... this is the horrible part ......" the floor, the door and the window is full of ants ..... very geliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.... i really can't believe such a big hotel ... the cleaniness is horrible ... ... THen I complain to the staff , the staff is good... she faster respond to my complain ... she said gave her sometimes to claen the room ... After one hour , i walk into the room , yes, the floor is clean compared to the previous .... BUT still .... even after clean and spray the ants ... there is still a lot of ants come into our bed during the night ... we ( my 4 families members were so scare of the ants bite... we couldnt sleep well the whole night . we have body itchy also .... oh my god....cant believe , such a good resputation and expensive hotel ... it is so bad service ... Also , Telephone line also out of service ... it is not functioning AT ALLLLLLLLL. Also , the Internet wifi also not funtioning . example : if i stand at the window , total no wifi if i stand in the middle of the room , i have only 1 lline I order to get 2 line of wifi , we all sit at the main door ( the wooded door ) the whole nigth in order to get 2 line wifi .. very terrible experience ....... I definately would not recommend to my freinds and relative ....BECAUSE your company simply change my booking room type WITHOUT my acknowledgement .

The location is great. The pool is huge. Like it. Other facilities such as for the family day or out door games is good.

The garden is not maintain properly. The grass is overgrown.

The toilet door and the main door could not close properly. And there is drilling and renovation in the day which affect me and my rest time. As I am travelling for work, sometimes I need rest. The room is so run down and need repair. The counter staffs do not have that hospitality gesture with customers - seem to have been over work and blue feeling.

Retrain or change the staffs.

The hotel is a little run-down, but the staff completely blew us away! Their incredible attitude and warm hospitality made all the difference. Reaching out via WhatsApp ahead of time was such a thoughtful touch, and everything else was smooth sailing from there.

Love all the staff for the great services

The building, the decor, all worn out. My first night, couldnt sleep the whole night and waited till morning to change the bedsheet. The staff politely came to the room to inspect and due to the presence of my baby, they couldnt spray the mist but the change the bed. Love that the staff came to check in after the bedsheet has been changed. Some of the lightbulb not functioning including those at the balcony. For the breakfast, not variety of dishes even it’s a full house for all the days we’ve stayed. Funny how a 5-star hotel charge you for a coffee -machine latte and so on.

The room was spacious but quite outdated, Aircon was adequate unlike last time, pool was clean and my son had a great time there

Breakfast was sorely lacking in options and quality compared to hotels in the same price range, very limited options however they have gotten better control over fly problem at the cafe area but that's still an issue

I appreciate the good air conditioning, the excellent beds and pillows. The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel has a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. I recommend this hotel.

The otherwise good Wi‑Fi didn’t reach our room, so we used mobile data from a local SIM card.

Love the enchanted scenery. Hotel convenient for wheel chair . Food was nice and delicious. Clean beach and easily access. We booked the room during weekday maybe that was the reason not so many people. We felt so comfortable and relaxed especially at the swimming pool and beach with my elderly 92 years old father. Insya' allah will come again in near future.

The bathroom need deep clean. Mould was everywhere on the floor. Manager need to supervise the cleaner to really clean the bathroom

The pool is very nice since my son is only 2, he really happy to enjoy the kids pool. The room is big, more than enough for 3 of us. For Muslim, there is sejadah provided and Kiblat direction for us to pray. The beach is only walking distance.

The pipe water at toilet too slow. A bit challenge for Muslim to clean up after taking some business. For breakfast, just usual spread, not too many varieties. So crowded if you come down after 8am

Kolam renang yang disediakan luas namunbegitu kedalaman yang sesuai (0.5 - 1.2m) untuk tetamu tempatan terhad. Jadi apabila pada waktu hujung minggu kolam renang agak sesak walaupun bukan pada waktu holiday season. Keadaan bilik playroom juga tidak teratur dan kotor seperti tidak diselenggara.

The location is great for swimming and nice beach to go for a walk. I enjoyed waking up in the morning and taking a,walk by the beach. Funny thing is that depending on the time you see a different shore, because of the tides. The room is comfortable and ac very functional. Just keep in mind that when you open the window ac turns off.

The room itself was comfortable, but the bathroom needs a definite upgrade. Dont like bathtubs in a hotel bathroom, and this one looked very only and hard to keep clean.

Cant connect to wifi from my room. Even it gets connected at times, there is no internet. To make it worst, both celcomdigi & maxis do not have good coverage in the room, i cant make calls or browse google. Person next door was smoking in room & the smells got into our room. We told to the stafff but no action was taken. Wood panel/ floor broken here & there, hazard to children. Overall, not a good experience.

Het zwembad en het strand, helemaal geweldig voor kinderen!

Het eten (muv het restaurant Chinois en het ontbijt, daar was het echt heerlijk! En het ontbijt) maar de lunch was echt ondermaats, broodjes waren gewoon niet gebakken en de frietjes waren erg slof. Daarbij moest je erg lang wachten.

Es befand sich kein Safe im Zimmer, dann wurde uns ein "mobiler" Safe geliefert 🙈 Die Toilettenspülung war nicht funktionsfähig! Einen Tag kam überhaupt kein warmes Wasser 🙃 Der Balkon war unmöbliert und dreckig von Vogeldreck 🦅

(1) Thistle has the best quiet beach on the strip. Beach is clean and you now have swing chairs on the beach - excellent!

The Room - (1) Cleanliness was not up to mark as the pillow cases smelled of sweat and stale perfume. Facilities were satisfactory - (2) please upgrade the TV entertainment to more movies. (3) The balcony only had a foldable chair which was not good. Why not a proper chair? And a small table to enjoy the outside. (4) Also, my room had the older furniture ( I know this because I have been to Thistle before and I know some rooms have been upgraded) some effort should be made to upgrade the general musty smell and faint smell of cockroaches (at night)!. Hotel - (5) Please also organize a shuttle bus to lunch and dinner places - this is long time overdue! You should have several shuttle buses, if possible. (6) the lifeguard should be available for as long as the pool is open - I understand a child almost drowned on 9th July26 but was pulled out of the pool by my friend (no lifeguard around between 1 pm and 2 pm). Pool Music - (7) the same repetitive music is being played at the pool area, please interchange with soft piano jazz, and other popular music to suit all ages. (8) Please ensure ALL your rooms have bedside lamps as these give ambience to a hotel room. Very important for a hotel stay! (9) Lastly, Room 226 (pool facing) had an ant problem. They were crawling all over the desk! And got into my computers. Please do better. Thank you.

Good pools and other facilities ie. Beach volleyball, outdoor chess. the kids love them. Also love that the beach is private and so near.

It's time to refurbish the resort. The bed in my room got bed bugs. Bitten at several areas on my body. Painful experience and the scar lasted for more than two weeks.

Sistem Chekin hotel yang sangat lambat dan tidak teratur..30 minit beratur untuk check in sahaja .. Please perbaiki, supaya masa menunggu tidak lama, wujudkan no giliran supaya tak perlu beratur dan berdiri terlalu lama. Tq

private beach. saya suka bilik saya, tingkat 5 menghadap pool dan laut. sangat tenang 🥰 staff di lobby sangat friendly. hotel yang sesuai jika ada anak. ada kolam ikan di lobby dan ada beberapa haiwan jagaan seperti ayam dan arnab di tepi pool. pasir pantai pon bersih tak seperti pantai di lexis hibiscus yg hambar.

Our room was practically new. We were at Thistle a year ago, and there were renovation going on. There were an extra clothes hook ok the wall, that was so useful. We came back this year because we love the pool. Management made so many improvements to the place. Love the burger/rojak stall by the pool. Breakfast has so many choices, i wish i stayed a few more days longer so i can try all the food. Instead of sushi, maybe make kimbap or add more korean dishes.

The were many crocodile sightings reported on the news in recent months. Main reason i avoid water activities, otherwise i would love to go on the fun rides. Please make some precautions to protect hotel guests. Maybe put nets to block off and create safe area to play at the beach. Maybe put lockers for guests to put stuff by the pool. Not enough space to park our stuff while we use the pool. Curry at the noodle station was salty. Please improve. Sushi was quite dry. KIMBAP IS BETTER! More stalls by the pool to cater the demand. Waited a long time for our order. Two stalls on opposite site will really help with the crowd and waiting time. Please make a bigger jacuzzi area. Add chairs at balcony. More area to hang wet bathing suite in the room.

I booked for 2 rooms adjoining each other but instead got a surprise news one day before the arrival of upgrading room to Presidential Suite. Instead of 2 rooms, we were in one unit suite with 2 rooms. The suite is about 4,000 sq ft with living room, big kitchen and jacuzzi.

The pool are well maintained except the pool deck chairs. The service is good. The staffs are very cooperative. I hope the management could do more to beautify the resort.

1. The garden n the beach should be maintain well. Lots n lots of improvement should be done. Esp the landscaping. Be more attractive n the pools deck chair should be clean in the morning. 2. The rooms are spacious but need lots of improvement..
