It is an amazing hotel with a wonderful crew. Our stay was a real relaxation. Massage is also highly recommended they adjust the pressure of your like.we also participated on a cooking class with the excellent chef of the hotel. Beach bar is very cool too.

Choosing a hotel in a far away land is never an easy thing. Through online comments and ratings it is incredibly hard to see things clearly, as for the same property, there are always people who love it and ones who hate it. We decided to go with Buri Rasa Village for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely the best choice we could have made. The village looked like something out of a fairy tale, the decoration was cute and the beach was incredible. Most of all, the staff were impeccable. Attentive to everything, and catering to all of our needs. Whether they were helping us book activities, or bringing our iced fruit shakes to our sunbeds, they were always making sure we were happy and relaxed. And we were. Thank you for letting us stay in this little piece of heaven ❤️

One of the best location at the beach in Chaweng. Clear blue water and a sandy beach. No stone - just sand as long as your eye can see. Great big rooms with an old Thai style appearance. Good housekeeping and good night service. The staff fantastic. So friendly and focused on service and you. Best of all: Adult only.

Upon entering, one is embraced by a warm atmosphere carried by heartfelt hospitality. The helpful staff seem to anticipate every wish, ensuring guests feel completely cared for. The food is a feast for the senses — finely balanced flavors, lovingly presented plates, and a quality that makes the palate rejoice. Most noteworthy is the breakfast: abundant, fresh, and varied, a perfect start to the day that leaves nothing to be desired.

We just got back from Buri Rasa Village in Koh Samui and honestly, it might be the best hotel experience we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The location is unbeatable. We were right on the beach, but still just a short walk into town, with the airport close by too. We rented a motorbike right at the hotel with zero hassle, and getting around Chaweng and beyond was so easy. Airport transfers were seamless on both ends. Our room was spotless and beautifully maintained the entire stay. The little touches made it feel truly special every single night we came back to find a handwritten note, two taffies, and our room turned down by the loveliest staff member. It's such a small thing, but it made us feel genuinely taken care of the whole trip. The food exceeded expectations too. Breakfast and lunch were both really good, but dinner was on another level some of the best meals we had in Samui. Being adults-only made the whole atmosphere even better peaceful, relaxing, and exactly the vibe we were hoping for. We can't recommend Buri Rasa enough.

This was our fourth stay at Buri Rasa Koh Samui and, once again, it exceeded all our expectations. I was celebrating my 50th birthday during this trip. Our original plan was to spend one week at Buri Rasa, move to another hotel for five nights, and then finish our holiday in a luxury villa. As you'll see, those plans changed. Buri Rasa is a charming boutique hotel with just 32 rooms, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable, with large beds, excellent air conditioning and lovely private terraces. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. Thai hospitality is famous around the world, but the team at Buri Rasa takes it to another level. From our arrival, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. Special thanks to C2, Poppy, Pim and the rest of the reception team, who were always happy to help and answer our endless questions with a smile. The most memorable moment came on my birthday. After spending the day out, we returned to our room to find an incredible surprise. My housekeeper had created a beautiful birthday display on our bed using banana leaves, handmade flowers and decorative hearts, even incorporating the birthday cards I had brought from home. When I thanked the staff, I discovered she had created it after her shift had finished because she had noticed my birthday cards and wanted to do something special. It was one of the kindest and most thoughtful gestures I have ever received from any hotel, and something I will never forget. The location is another huge advantage. Situated on the quieter end of Chaweng Beach, the hotel offers both peace and convenience. It's within easy walking distance of the night market and Muay Thai stadium, while the livelier part of Chaweng is only a short walk or taxi ride away. Breakfast was consistently excellent, with a wide variety of fresh fruit, pastries, Thai dishes and cooked-to-order options. After our first week, we looked at several other hotels we had been considering for the remainder of our holiday. While some were impressive, none matched the charm, comfort and, above all, the exceptional people at Buri Rasa. So rather than moving, we cancelled our plans and stayed an extra five nights. Honestly, I think that says more than any review ever could. If you're looking for a beautiful beachfront boutique hotel with outstanding service and genuinely caring staff who make you feel like family, Buri Rasa Koh Samui is hard to beat.

What a fantastic resort!!! Had the best time !!! Special mention to “Rit”, “chevr”, “Derek”,” poppy”( and mum). The resort food was exceptional!!! Not one thing to report as mediocre, five stars!!! Will definitely stay here again when we return to Chaweng beach.

Excellent hotel and experience all round. The rooms are very spacious, extremely clean and very well appointed. They thoroughly clean every day and top up drinks for free. The complimentary rum and beer on arrival in our room was a lovely touch. All the staff are incredibly helpful and always smiling and willing to help. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order with a back up buffet. Getting beach or pool beds were extremely easy because of their very sensible no reservations policy. The bar is on the beach and with regular fire shows made evenings memorable and special. Other bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkeys are all very easy to walk either via the street or the beach. The manager even organised a free yoga lesson for us as well as a lovely Thai cooking lesson (this was charged obviously). Overall I would recommend this hotel as extremely good / luxurious and we are very well travelled (as context).

Fabulous boutique resort right in the middle of Chaweng Beach. Direct access to the beach and with only 33 rooms the service levels are very personal. Food offerings are excellent and we loved the multiple happy hour for cocktails. Special mention to the staff, Rit, Cheva, Poppy ( and her mum!), Deryk, C2 and the GM Manfred for exceptionally good experiences!

The rooms were wonderful, spacious well designed, the setting by the beach was beautiful and having the beach and the pool so close t was wonderful, and to no loud bang bang music!!

Tow very soft flat pillows, which not everyone likes , it’s a small thing that’s makes a big difference to your sleep. And the food was a bit hit and miss sometimes

Location of this place is solid. You are outside of the business of the island, but still in the action. The staff here was amazing and helpful. Loved the beach and the traditional Thai bath. Rooms were solid as well and we found it an excellent value. Very clean and the beds were the best we slept on in Thailand! Breakfast was also pretty good.

Room was a good size with all of the amenities and both aircond and ceiling fan. outstanding buffet breakfast and easy beach access with loungers etc. Also great that there is adults only option in the area, which is close to all the action while still being quiet and peaceful if wanted.

Buri Rasa is truly one of the most wonderful hotels we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, peaceful and incredibly special. We swam in the sea and the beautiful pool, enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning, found sweet little treats waiting in our room, had several amazing massages and ate wonderful meals in the restaurant. We also joined a cooking class, which became one of the most fun and memorable experiences of our entire trip. The resort is beautifully maintained, spotless and full of thoughtful details. The service is exceptional without ever feeling forced. Every member of staff makes you feel genuinely welcome, cared for and somehow a little bit like a celebrity. A very special thank you to Don, the wonderful chef who made our cooking class so much fun; Patsy, the sweetest and most caring woman; Nan, our driver and storyteller who made us laugh; C2, the incredible man who truly seems able to do everything; Pou and Nuch, for the best massages and the warmest smiles; and Koy, the kindest receptionist, who made us feel so welcome and looked after. We hope we have written all the names correctly, and of course we also want to thank every other wonderful person whose name we may have forgotten. Years from now, we may forget some of the places we visited, but we will never forget how the people at Buri Rasa made us feel. Thank you for giving us memories we will carry with us for a very long time.

Теперь на Самуи это наш любимый отель! Сами себе завидуем, что выбрали этот отель 👍! В Таиланде в 20 раз. Но, впервые встретили лучший персонал и обслуживание!! Отель небольшой, по-моему 33 номера. Имеет лучшую локацию на пляже Чавенг. Понимаем, почему все пишут про персонал. Это лучшая профессиональная команда!! Впервые не ходила в салоны на массаж, потому что в отеле работают восхитительные мастера тайского массажа Pou и Nuch!!💥💥 Завтрак- из свежих продуктов, пляж, бассейн- чистые, уборка номера- всегда вовремя, работа садовников- на отлично, безопасно- даже дверь забывали закрывать😅. Отдыхали 12 дней в июне. Море очень спокойное, погода- лучше не бывает. Хотим ещё, к вам!! В этом отеле есть душа…

Аромат геля для душа и шампуня- не мой🤷‍♀️. Невкусная питьевая вода (купили свою).

We stayed at Buri Rasa village for 2 nights. We had a huge room with a private yard and sunbeds. All of the stuff in the hotel were lovely, always kind and smiling. The beach area was gorgeous too, there was enough sunbeds for everyone, great food at the beach club restaurant. We would love to come back 😊😊

You should know that there are a lot of bugs at the hotel because it's full of plants, so just be prepared for that if you choose to stay there .

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful and surrounded by amazing nature. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was great, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and everything was well organized. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed every moment. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we return to the area.

We stayed for 9 amazing nights in Buri Rasa in May 2026 for a celebration. I cannot say enough about the hotel and staff, location and cleanliness. No request was too much and they went out of there way to make our celebration amazing, For an adults only hotel I would reccomend this hotel,

The property was excellent along with the staff, location was super. Bar was under whelming with little stock of top end items as this is a adult only resort, overall superb.

This place is fantastic. The room was very spacious and well set out; and the garden and plunge pool was a little oasis behind the solid gates that give total privacy. The breakfast was excellent, the pool and beach were fabulous but maybe more lounges are required when it is busy though. The most exceptional thing was the staff. Everybody was so genuineness friendly. If you are in Chaweng and want an oasis away from the hustle and bustle then this place is it.....and just outside is all the restaurants, shops, bars etc. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Buri Rasa was unfortunately not up to the standard that was promised or reflected in many of the reviews. To start with the positives, the hotel grounds are genuinely beautiful, and the beach area is stunning—definitely one of the highlights of the property. I also want to give credit to the massage team, who were fantastic and delivered one of the best experiences during our stay. However, the overall experience was deeply disappointing. On our first night, I noticed a couple of termites on the floor and one on the bed. Given the lush, tropical environment, I initially brushed it off. But on the second night, the situation escalated significantly—there were many termites flying around the bathroom and hallway lights. When I brought this to a staff member’s attention, she seemed visibly bothered and dismissive, quickly saying there was nothing that could be done as the hotel was fully booked, and offered to send housekeeping instead. When we returned to the room, there were dozens of flying and crawling termites all over the bed and floor. It was honestly shocking. I went back to the front desk and showed videos, and only then was the issue taken seriously and a new room was arranged—indicating that a room was in fact available. We had to pack quickly while termites were literally everywhere around us, which was quite a stressful and unsettling experience. This all happened on my birthday, which made it even more disappointing that it was not acknowledged in any way. Service throughout the stay was another major letdown. Aside from a couple of standout staff members, most employees came across as inattentive and not particularly friendly. At the beach/pool area and during dinner service, interactions sometimes even felt borderline rude or abrupt. There was also no sense of personalized or “VIP” service at any point during our stay, and it felt like the only time staff were noticeably warm was when we were about to leave the property. Breakfast was also underwhelming for the price point. The selection was limited, and items were not replenished in a timely manner. On one morning around 9:45am, all the juices were empty and were never refilled before breakfast service ended. Lastly, when inquiring about the late checkout that was mentioned during booking (understandably subject to availability), the request was dismissed immediately without even checking, simply stating the hotel was fully booked. Overall, I had high expectations for this stay, but it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. I remained polite throughout and often greeted staff first, but the level of service and handling of issues fell far short of what you would expect from a hotel in this category.

Resort and Rooms are beautiful, well maintained and very clean. location is convenient. Breakfast has a nice spread. View is amazing from restaurant. Staff are all very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Poppy, Yoshi, Sima, Koy, Thomas (restaurant) and the rest of staff from Buri Rasa, thank you very much for your hospitality and professionalism. Der Aufenthalt im Buri Rasa Village Koh Samui war für uns einfach traumhaft – ein kleines, familiäres Hotel mit außergewöhnlich herzlichem Service, bei dem sich das Team sogar persönliche Vorlieben merkt. Besonders begeistert haben uns die Sauberkeit, die wunderschöne grüne Anlage und die perfekte Lage direkt am Strand. Während des Songkran-Festivals sorgte ein Resident DJ am Nachmittag für eine entspannte, besondere Atmosphäre. Insgesamt war es für uns das beste Hotel vor Ort – ruhig, stilvoll und mit international gemischtem, angenehmem Publikum.

Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt war die recht laute Klimaanlage im Zimmer, die es etwas schwieriger machte, eine konstant angenehme Temperatur zu halten. Das war stellenweise etwas störend, insgesamt aber gut zu verkraften. Abgesehen davon gibt es für uns keinerlei negative Punkte.
