Reviewed Feb 22, 2026We had a great couple of days stay, either side of walking the Heaphy Track. Tony & Ru were great friendly hosts. They looked after a couple of bags for us between stays, put bags in rooms, and were just so accommodating. The location is just off the main busy road so quiet. Walking distance to eateries and the beach. The motel was spotless and I loved having the 2 armchairs in the room to relax in. Will definitely stay again when we are next back in Nelson.

Reviewed Jan 25, 2026Tony and Ru were very accommodating of our arrival time from the Picton ferry terminal as we were going to arrive after checkin closed. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the bathroom and kitchenette had been recently upgraded. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Great easy location to get into and out of.
We went in summer which is peak time, so the car park was quite full and spots a bit tight with all the SUVs (but everyone very courteous) just be careful!

Reviewed Jan 16, 2026DO NOT STAY HERE. The owners are awful, offensive people. The man asked me a very perverted and disgusting question and then his wife backed him up. I cant imagine how many other guests he has accosted. I literally have never met such awful people in my entire life. Most children have better manners. I hope they learn to treat people with respect but at their big, old age... I highly doubt they will.

Wir durften die Waschmaschine und den Trockner benutzen. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Gastro, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Strand sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Unser Apartment war sehr sauber und alles wirkte sehr gepflegt und modern eingerichtet. Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Von uns gibt es eine volle Weiterempfehlung.
