appartement, super sale, décoration qui fait très peur qui ne correspond pas à la photo personnelle très aigri ne parlons pas de la nourriture qui était super pas bonne et super cher en plus.

Tres bonne organisation et logistique Piscine très agréable, personnel serviable restaurants et nourriture bonne location de vélo à l'hôtel même et il y a pour tous les budgets et conforts donc du standard appartement au bungalow de luxe possibilité de prendre une douche avant le départ

This was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have had in the Seychelles. La Digue is famous for its serenity, tranquility and the feeling of escaping everyday life to recharge your batteries. Unfortunately, this hotel completely failed to provide the most basic conditions required for that. What is particularly frustrating is that most of the problems were not caused by the staff themselves. The staff were generally friendly and tried to help when problems were reported. The real issue appears to be management, maintenance standards and the apparent unwillingness to invest in the property and guest experience. A) Extremely loud music — no possibility to rest After a long journey, the first thing we wanted was simply to get to our room and take a nap. Instead, we were confronted with immensely loud music coming from the property immediately next to the hotel. The noise was so excessive that there was absolutely no possibility of sleeping or resting. This is particularly unacceptable on an island such as La Digue, where guests specifically come for peace, quiet and relaxation. We did not travel all the way to the Seychelles to lie in a hotel room listening to extremely loud music from the neighbouring property. We therefore requested a room change. To their credit, the hotel did fulfil this request — but unfortunately, this only led to an entirely different and even more bizarre problem. Lizards repeatedly entering the room — and the absurd response The replacement room was immediately apparent as being very old and clearly in need of renovation. More seriously, there were visible gaps around four of the windows, providing an obvious entry point for insects and animals. It did not take long before we discovered a house gecko inside the room — and then several of them. We contacted housekeeping. The housekeeper came and chased the lizards out and assured us that the windows had been closed/fixed.

We booked the property of La Digue Island Lodge but to our surprise the apartment accommodation the La Digue Island lodge provided us was completely outside the property of that hotel. We saw all property details, videos, photos & then booked But the property allotted to us was out side, where we had to cross the road after exiting from the hotel main gate. The apartment or the rooms were given above a supermarket where there was NO Board or display of any sign of "La Digue Island Lodge", there was no reception, no lobby, no one in this hostel type rooms. The rooms were very small with old furniture & old toilets typical of a hostel with very narrow 3 feet corridor. To reach the hotel reception or restuarant or pool you have to walk approximately a kilometer after crossing the public roads & then enter the Hotel property & then reception etc. Basically what I mean to say is confirm the accommodation place before booking i.e, whether your allotted room is within the property or ouside on the streets.

Le cadre de la piscine est sympa, le personnel très gentil et la prise en charge directement au port c’est top !!

La chambre est vraiment très vétuste, elle aurait besoin d’un bon coup de rafraîchissement. De plus son emplacement est vraiment pas terrible. Nous n’avions pas du tout l’impression d’être dans un hôtel et c’était vraiment très très bruyant, aucune insonorisation (nous entendions le voisin ronfler). Nous n’avons pas testé le buffet du soir car un peu cher, par contre nous avons mangé au snack le midi et en effet un peu cher pour ce que c’est.

Le petit déjeuner n’offre pas un très grand chois. Par ailleurs, il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude dans la douche du lodge.

Struttura - ci sono delle camere indicate appunto come Depandance a 50mt dalla struttura che di fatto sono fuori da essa, in mezzo alla via e non dotate di tutti i confort che può dare la struttura principale. Andrebbe detto MOLTO PIU' CHIARAMENTE che sono praticamente un altro hotel e che l'esperienza è profondamente diversa tra un soggiorno dentro la struttura e uno fuori Staff - non sono abituati a gruppi numerosi e si vede, sono andati in tilt con prenotazioni multiple e bagagli, ma alla fine si è risolto tutto

Struttura molto carina immersa nel verde, di fronte a una bella spiaggia e mare, vicina a locali e ristoranti e al porto, raggiungibile in 5 minuti di bici. Si respira aria di libertà per gli ampi spazi della struttura, giardini molto curati , presenza di docce esterne, panchine e sdraio varie…inoltre è sempre presente la sicurezza. Colazione buona! Ci ritornerei!

Il bagno dei garden chalet sono da ristrutturare, il mobilio interno è molto semplice e un po’ vecchiotto però c’è tutto quello che serve.

Tolle Lage! Unser Gartenchalet war sehr schön und sehr sauber. Die Anlage ist wirklich schön. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach aber ausreichend (Bin kein Fan von riesen Buffets, weil ich zum Frühstück keine deftigen Speisen benötige). Man konnte sich frisches Omelette zubereiten und der Kaffee war sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bis auf ein paar wenige Mitarbeiter. Das Abendessen war ok aber teuer. Es gibt nicht weit von der Unterkunft ein gutes Restaurant bzw. Beach Bar (Le Repair und Lo Lans Beach Bar), wo es sehr lecker war und deutlich günstiger. Im Restaurant für abends unbedingt vorher reservieren! Alles in einem sehr tolle Unterkunft!

défaut électrqiue dans la maison: j'étais seule avec mes deux filles et nous nous sommes toutes les 3 fait électriser dans la douche et le courant n'a pas disjoncté.. Nous avons du consulter aux urgences. Nous avons été relogées dans une chambre que l'établissement nous a fait payer! Le minimum aurait été de nous offrir la nuit (au lieu de ça on m'a proposer de m'offrir le diner... qui était déjà réservé ailleurs). Très mauvais expérience.

La vue sur la plage est magnifique.

Je trouve que les photos des chalets sur mer sont un petit peu mensongère. Les photos laissent penser que notre logement est vraiment très proche de la mer, or depuis notre chalet nous ne voyons pas vraiment la plage, il faut emprunter un petit chemin pour y accéder. Nous étions dans le chalet numéro 1.

Buona la posizione. Noi abbiamo preso la camera basic e devo dire che non mi ha fatto impazzire. La pulizia non era il massimo e la camera davvero minimal

Camera da rinnovare, non è un hotel ma piuttosto un camping. Le stanze sono datate e presentano problemi di pulizia strutturale, ad esempio la doccia da cui proviene anche cattivo odore. La colazione è pessima, il buffet di bassa qualità di prodotti, scarsa igiene con dispenser rotti e danneggiati. Inoltre ho trovato assurdo che in una colazione inclusa venga chiesto un pagamento extra per L’Espresso e il cappuccino che sono elementi base di una colazione! Il personale, ad eccezione dei ragazzi che controllano l’ingresso sempre sorridenti ed educati, è poco cortese a tratti infastidito, infatti siamo stati addirittura rimproverati di non aver consegnato le asciugamani del mare la sera da un addetto alla reception ma di averli riconsegnati la mattina: SIAMO IN VACANZA! In conclusione non sono riusciti ad effettuare il pagamento su Booking e ho dovuto effettuare un bonifico 4 giorni prima dell arrivo perché sennò mi avrebbero cancellato la prenotazione, per questo bonifico ho dovuto pagare anche le commissioni della transazione pari a 35 euro. Mi dispiace dire che nel complesso la struttura necessita di maggiore attenzione al cliente e maggior pulizia e cura degli spazi, attualmente non consiglio di soggiornare qui se non per la posizione ma con grande spirito di adattamento. Apprezzato il servizio di navetta.

the main pool is nice, and there is a small toddler pool, the breakfast is very basic.

We had a very poor stay. We booked the L'Union Estate Beach Villa, which is quite expensive. However, we didn't understand clearly that this villa is far from the main resort (a 5-minute bike ride) and completely isolated, there were no other guests in adjacent villas. Returning after sunset is entirely unsuitable for young children, requiring bike rides in pitch darkness through the park. Upon arrival, the villa had a foul odor, feeling as though no one had stayed there for months. The shower was broken, the toilet paper holder was falling apart, and it looked nothing like the photos online. There were no bedside lamps, leaving strong white ceiling lights as the only option. We even found lizards in the bedroom. The next day, we asked to transfer to the main resort, as the villa was impractical for our family (with a 7-year-old and a 3.5-year-old). We checked Booking.com and saw available options at the main resort, almost all half the price of what we paid. The first room offered was a tiny double room, inadequate for four people, featuring an extra single bed. It was filled with mold and a strong damp smell. When we asked about moving to available chalets (which were more spacious with an upper loft area suitable for an extra bed), we were told they were "not suitable for our group size." The second option was another small double room, without mold. We asked to speak with the manager, but were told she was unreachable by phone. The front desk staff were rude, making us feel like a burden. Overall, a deeply disappointing stay. Given the high rates charged, there are far better options available on the island.

Die Lage direkt am Strand ist wirklich schön und das Highlight der gesamten Anlage. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Sekt — eine nette Geste. Allerdings mussten wir drei Stunden auf Gläser warten, da diese nicht im Zimmer waren. Man nimmt, was man kriegen kann.

Wo fangen wir an. Wir hatten das Strand-Chalet gebucht — das Beste und Teuerste, was das Hotel zu bieten hat. Was wir vorfanden: alte Möbel, Flecken auf den Laken und den Liegen, Spinnenweben im Schrank, staubige Fenster. Vom besten Zimmer im Haus hätten wir etwas mehr erwartet. Der Pool sieht aus, als wäre er irgendwann mal notdürftig saniert worden — schmutzige Ränder, trübes Wasser, kein einladender Anblick. Der Housekeeping-Service war schlicht unzuverlässig. Drei Tage in Folge mussten wir zur Rezeption, um fehlende Handtücher, Gläser und Wasser anzumahnen. Ab dem vierten Tag hat es dann geklappt — Lernerfolg vorhanden. Die Handtuchlogistik ist dabei ein Kapitel für sich: abholen in einem bestimmten Zeitfenster, zurückbringen in einem anderen. Umständlich und für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse schwer zu erklären. Zum Großteil war das Personal nicht unfreundlich, sondern einfach nur unmotiviert. Ein nettes Lächeln gab es eher selten. Das Frühstück: wenig Auswahl, lieblos angerichtet. Das Wort "lieblos" trifft eigentlich auf vieles hier zu. Der Instagramauftritt des Hotels ist wirklich hervorragend — er zeigt allerdings ein Bild, das mit der Realität vor Ort wenig gemein hat. Wenn das Hotel nur halb so viel Energie in seine Gäste stecken würde wie in seinen Social-Media-Auftritt, wäre es schon ein deutlich besseres Erlebnis. Für den Preis, den wir bezahlt haben, war es eine echte Enttäuschung.

The family lodge we where given was 1km far from the structure which means that any time for breakfast or after dinner we needed to cycle from/back for 7/8 mins which is of course uncomfortable especially with 2 babies needing to cycle themselves and if it rains.. your problem!) - so basically it s like being in an apartment somewhere else, not in the hotel, and this is not clear when you choose the room option/ it s written "union estate" but who knows what it means from the other part of the world! The lodge was spacious but very simple - not even a light on the side beds, the towels were very bad quality (close to plastic, didn't dry at all!) and the wifii connection working poorly. In the structure the wifii connection was very poor / absent - working literally only in the lobby; the pool is quite dangerous for the babies cos the full edge is painted with a very slippery paint. This is the first place in 2 weeks where we find unkind personnel, maybe the structure itself has some problems that is also perceived by the people working there.

Piscine et confort de l’hôtel

Lo mejor de nuestra estancia en La Digue Island Lodge es, sin duda, el entorno. El hotel está en un lugar precioso, rodeado de palmeras, con unos jardines muy bonitos y una zona de playa muy agradable, con hamacas y duchas. La habitación es sencilla y hemos estado cómodos en general, aunque esperábamos algo más de calidad. La cama nos pareció bastante dura e incómoda. Además, al ducharnos salía un fuerte olor desagradable, como a aguas residuales, que dejaba el baño bastante apestado. En resumen, es un alojamiento con un entorno precioso y una ubicación muy agradable, pero creemos que debería mejorar en aspectos como la limpieza, el mantenimiento del baño, la comodidad de las habitaciones y la organización del check-in.

La limpieza es mejorable. Durante las 3 noches que estuvimos, en varias ocasiones regresamos al hotel sobre las 15:00-16:00 y la habitación todavía no había sido arreglada. Otro aspecto que nos pareció mejorable fue el check-in. Al llegar al puerto te trasladan al hotel junto con otros huéspedes y allí se realiza el registro de todos a la vez. En nuestro caso tardamos alrededor de 1 hora y 15 minutos, ya que solo había una persona realizando todas las gestiones. Llegamos sobre las 13:00, nos indicaron que la habitación estaría disponible a partir de las 15:00 y finalmente no pudimos acceder hasta las 16:15. Además, durante ese tiempo tampoco teníamos acceso a nuestro equipaje, que el propio hotel había llevado directamente a la habitación.

L'hôtel est composé de chalets et bungalows espacés, c'est donc très calme. Les jardins sont très bien entretenus. L'hôtel donne sur une petite plage, avec transats. Le restaurant sur pilotis permet de manger tout en contemplant l'océan. Le breakfast ainsi que le buffet du soir sont de qualité ( même les desserts!). Le personnel du restaurant est charmant et efficace.

Le ménage quotidien des chambres fait souvent tardivement, après 15h. Le confort du lit est à revoir.

Die Zimmer waren alt und abgewohnt , schmutzig und das Köo ist die ganze Zeit geronnen , es hat auch dementsprechend im Bad gestunken!

El desayuno muy caro para lo que es, no vale la pena cogerlo. El check-out es a las 10, muy temprano teniendo en cuenta los pocos ferry que hay y el check-in bastante tarde por lo que también tienes que esperar bastante. Las bicis no son 24h sino cuentan por día, es decir si la coges a las 6pm de hoy hasta mañana a la misma hora debes pagar 2 días enteros.

The internet connection was terrible; we had to use our own internet in the rooms. The breakfast was very poor, and worst of all, they provided water at dinner, and this water was leftover; they bottled it themselves and charged for it. This price is 2.5 times the price of bottled water in a market, unfortunately. The room hygiene was poor, and the staff were unpleasant.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Direkt am Strand. Die Strandhäuser waren toll ausgestattet.

Das Personal ist weitgehend unmotiviert. Als Gast hat man ständig das Gefühl nicht willkommen zu sein. Beim Buffet wurde nicht nachgelegt wenn Dinge aus war bzw. nur auf Nachfrage erfolgte dies. Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse geht so etwas gar nicht.

We didn't like anything about this property. When we first made the reservation, the details were unclear and there were no photos of the property; only after they had charged us and the free cancellation deadline had passed did they send a confirmation stating that we had booked a room located 50 meters away in a separate building, rather than in the main complex. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was security guards standing in front of that building, wearing body armor and carrying guns. The room we were assigned—which was quite expensive—looked completely dilapidated at first glance. Because of this, and the fact that this location hadn't been specified during booking, we decided to complain and ask to be moved to a better unit. When we made the request, the receptionist laughed in our faces and was incredibly rude—as was the rest of the staff throughout our stay. She lied, claiming there were no other units available and insisting we spend the first night in the assigned apartment, after which we could switch to a better unit for an extra fee starting the next morning. We agreed at the time, having no idea just how bad the unit actually was, since we hadn't spent a night there yet. We were told we could move the next morning, but when we arrived at the reception, we were told we had to hand over the keys to the old unit and wait until 3 PM to access the new one; effectively, we were left without accommodation for almost an entire day, despite having paid in full. The room where we spent the first night had falling-apart wardrobes and a broken fridge; the towels were old and stained, and there was no hot water in the bathroom. The bed was incredibly hard—you could feel every spring in the mattress—and the air conditioner was unbearably loud, forcing us to turn it off. The building also lacked soundproofing, so every sound from the street outside could be heard clearly; needless to say, we didn't sleep at all that night.

Die Lodge liegt gut gelegen direkt am Meer, der Garten der Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, es gibt auch ein Pool und Frühstück und Abendessen waren in Ordnung wenn nau h nicht ausgezeichnet oder wirklich sehr gut

Das Zimmer war eine absolute Zumutung, man musste um in das Badezimmer zu gelangen über eine enge Wendeltreppe in den Keller absteigen. Das Bett hatte nur ein Leintuch über deine Ofen sichtlich durch gelegene Metallmatratze, von Einrichtung kann man nicht sprechen insgesamt vermitteln jedes Zimmer eines Raumes der seit 50 Jahren keinerlei Renovierung erfahren hat

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier und uns gefällt einfach alles. Von der Lage, der Anlage, über die Lodges, das Essen bis hin zum Service einfach alles super und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Im Zimmer würden wir warmes Licht anstelle des Weisslichtes bevorzugen.

La digue Island Lodge è veramente un gioiello a la digue, è la struttura più antica sull’isola e gode di una posizione super invidiabile, davanti un mare pazzesco, vicino alle spiagge più belle. Noi siamo stati nello chalet e la chicca è il bagno esterno, con la doccia dove senti i rumori della natura. È immerso nel verde e puoi portare la tua bici direttamente davanti alla tua stanza. Veramente un posto meraviglioso…

…un posto meraviglioso se non fosse che avrebbe bisogno di qualche aggiustatina qua e là, la colazione purtroppo non ci ha soddisfatto al 100% capisco che la struttura sia veramente grande e sia difficile avere occhi ovunque però avrebbe bisogno proprio di una gestione diversa perché è proprio un peccato, è una struttura veramente invidiabile pazzesca ricca di storia, ma purtroppo ha del personale non accogliente, faticano a sorriderti e dirti qualche parola in più. Purtroppo quando hai una struttura così con del potenziale, è ovvio che si guarda ai dettagli, e i dettagli li fanno le persone. Super accoglienti invece il personale che pulisce le camere, i giardinieri e la guardia dell’ingresso, persone con una posizione inferiore rispetto a quelli che sono messi in prima linea e che sono proprio scorbutici.

Ho avuto un’esperienza negativa per quanto riguarda la gestione del pagamento. Al momento della prenotazione avevo inserito la carta per il pagamento gestito dalla struttura, ma non era indicato chiaramente quando sarebbe stato effettuato l’addebito. Quando è stato fatto il tentativo di pagamento, ho avuto un problema con la carta e ho informato immediatamente la struttura della situazione. Sono stati effettuati solamente due tentativi di addebito e, successivamente, mi è stato imposto di effettuare un bonifico direttamente alla struttura. Ho anche proposto di riprovare semplicemente il pagamento con la carta, visto che il problema era stato segnalato e poteva essere risolto facilmente con un ulteriore tentativo, ma la mia proposta è stata rifiutata. Di conseguenza, sono stata costretta a effettuare un bonifico internazionale, sostenendo circa 50 € di commissioni bancarie aggiuntive. Ritengo che questa spesa si sarebbe potuta evitare con una gestione più flessibile della situazione e con un ulteriore tentativo di pagamento. Mi è dispiaciuto soprattutto che, nonostante avessi comunicato tempestivamente il problema e cercato una soluzione alternativa, non mi sia stata data la possibilità di effettuare nuovamente il pagamento con la carta, causando così un costo aggiuntivo non indifferente.

Accueil/ Staff: Un personnel tout juste aimable, ils ne faisaient plus d'efforts et cela dénote avec les autres hôtels qu'on a fréquentés ! Nourriture/ Petit-déjeuner: Que dire... Non seulement ce n'est pas qualitatif et très peu varié mais en plus les cloches étaient sales et pleines de traces de doigts - le personnel devrait les nettoyer de temps en temps car on avait jamais vu ça ! Les pots de confiture étaient sales, ça ne donnait pas envie ! Il n'y avait qu'une personne pour faire les crêpes et toujours une queue de 5 à 8 personnes ! Pourquoi proposer des oranges en quartier avec la peau au lieu de proposer d'autres fruits ? Il n'y avait que 3 fruits proposés quand on pense que c'est la saison des corossols et des papayes par exemple, c'est vraiment léger. Les viennoiseries pas terribles et le bacon qui contenait que du gras et peu de viande :( Autre point: on n'avait pas de couette (du jamais vu à l'hôtel) donc si on veut mettre la clim pour éloigner les moustiques et les 100 pieds c'est compliqué !
