trochu problematické je parkování, je zajištěno cca ve vzdálenosti 800m ve veřejném parkovacím domě a nebylo možné vyložit a naložit zavazadla v blízkosti hotelu, zvládli jsme to, ale je potřeba s tím počítat

A lokáció és a kilátás tökéletes, minden egy karnyújtásnyira volt a hoteltől. A parkoló ugyan kissé távolabb van, de ez nem okozott problémát, pár perc sétával elérhető volt az autó is - a parkolási rendszer külön remek, kedvezményes áron érhető el a belváros szívében.

Ami számunkra talán a legkellemetlenebb volt, az az, hogy központi klíma van az épületben, azaz a légkondícionálónak nem volt állítható a hőmérséklete. Alig tudtunk pihenni a 25 fokos szobában - olyan is volt, hogy kint hűvösebb volt az idő, mint bent (viszont a reggeli és éjszakai árupakolás miatt nem lehetett volna nyitott ajtónál aludni). Véleményem szerint, ha napi 75-80.000 Huf két főre a szoba, akkor az a minimum, hogy ezt szabadon használhassuk. Véleményünk szerint a másik javítandó terület a reggeliztetés: soha nem volt feltöltve, ha valami elfogyott, azt nem is pótolták újra (pirítós, felvágottak, sajt stb.), és a választék is lehetett volna sokkal bőségesebb. (Esetleg a ki- és bepakoláshoz lehetne a közelben egy felfestett várakozóhely, picit tanácstalanok voltunk érkezéskor.)

ubicacion excelente frente al puerto y al centro histórico, llegamos a pie desde la estación del tren. La habitación espaciosa con te y café, baño a nuevo, excelente sábanas y cama muy confortable. Saliamos a cenar a pie, proximo a variedad de restaurantes. Muy recomendable. Desayuno muy completo para su calificación. Aire acondicionado

The location is the selling point.

Some of the staff are lovely but some don’t acknowledge you. The breakfast lets it down unfortunately and the shower was the smallest I’ve ever showered in to an uncomfortable point.

I thought we booked the best double room but it was a bit small. Breakfast not very selective and some things ran out after 9.30am!

Ligging fantastisch, personeel super gastvrij, ontbijt viel niets op aan te merken. Persoonlijk hou ik van wat steviger koffie maar dat is een minor detail.

badkamer is zeer compleet maar de douchehoek is erg klein. water laat zich slecht regelen en de airco op de kamer gaat na een paar uur uit.

I stay at the Hotel Piroscafo every year. It is a great hotel and the staff are always super friendly. It is also in a beautiful spot on Lake Garda. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. It is quite a small hotel and so it doesn’t get noisy. There are plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Desenzano is a great place for walking and for visiting other towns on the lake.

Location is great and the place is clean. I liked the decor in the bedroom, and the bed was comfortable (although the shower was a bit of a squeeze). Worth paying extra for the harbourside view with a balcony, otherwise there's a pleasing terrace overlooking the same, and breakfast is served facing the harbour - the staff who provide breakfast were particularly friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at the Piroscafo.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We needed a doctor, and the staff provided excellent assistance. The breakfast was quite good. The hotel's location is excellent. The beach is nearby.

This hotel is a true gem. Family run. The location is perfect, the most beautiful view over the old harbour and square. Endless possibilities for meals. The staff are warm and friendly. The Continental breakfast delicious and a perfect start to a day. We loved our 5 nights here. Absolutely amazing.

We could not fault anything

We stayed here for 4 nights on arrival we were given an upgrade on our room, which was on the third floor, really spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location right in the historic centre and overlooking the old harbour. It has a terrace which too looks on to the harbour. Though in the centre it was a quiet hotel. There was a fantastic choice for breakfast which we enjoyed outside under the porticoes looking at the small boats. The hosts and other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in beautiful Desenzano del Garda.

Hotel pequeno, familiar, em Desenzano del Garda, no Lago de Garda. Excelente localização (imbatível), quarto um pouco pequeno, mas nada que comprometa a estadia. Bom banheiro, boa cama, boa roupa de cama e banho. Perto de tudo (das barcas, dos restaurantes, das lojas, super bem localizado, o ponto mais forte do hotel)

Café da manhã básico, sem maiores expectativas, mas atende bem. Não compromete a estadia, até porque não é nenhum 4 estrelas. Hotel para quem privilegia localização, segurança, conforto básico

Fantastic location will book again

Location was excellent overlooking the little harbour. Room was beautiful and cleaned daily to a very high standard. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and the presentation of the food was beautiful also. The staff at reception and the waitress at breakfast were wonderful and very pleasant at all times.

There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous location. Staff very helpful. Hotel clean and well maintained. Covered terrace on ground floor for breakfast and first floor patio for guest use. Rooms are very small - shower is tiny. So if you are going for longer than 3 nights this might be a bit of a problem. We would go back but just for a short stay.

A lovely clean hotel with very friendly staff. Fantastic location. A quiet hotel which was perfect for us. Very attentive breakfast staff also. Would recommend a room with balcony/terrace over looking the harbour. Rooms are small and maybe require an update but fine for a few nights.

Zarezerwowałem pokój z klimatyzacją niestety była ona nie sprawna. Po zgłoszeniu do recepcji usłyszałem odpowiedź że to są Włochy i to normalne. Nie to nie normalne bo poprzednie 3noce spaliliśmy w Riva del garda i klima działała jak należy. Mieliśmy nocleg na 3 noce po pierwszej uciekliśmy bo w pokoju było 30stopni. Śniadanie bardzo skromne żadnego ciepłego dania typu jajecznica czy parówki.

Матрас для меня был слишко мягким, хотелось по плотнее. Заврак был обычным, но в восторг пришла от свежайших апельсинов.

На завтрак не хватало сосиски или жаренного бекона.

Perfect location in Desenzano. The staff here are so helpful and friendly. The room was a bit small but we had everything we needed. Clean with air conditioning a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Also shower products to use ( although we didn't use them) We had a beautiful shared balcony which overlooked the lake. Really quiet at night so a good night sleep is guaranteed! A Simple breakfast but fresh and plenty to choose from. There is a little bar next door that is great for a pre dinner drink!

Niestety wielkość pokoi 2 os jest mikroskopijna, wiem że w tym miejscu nie przebywa się w pokoju ale nawet toaleta poranna czy wieczorna wymagała przepychania się.

The perfect location!! Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was on the small side but we had everything we needed including a beautiful shared terrace to relax on. The breakfast was simple but fresh everyday. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in beautiful Desenzano, the perfect place to stay on Lake Garda. The bar next door is brilliant too for a coffee during the day or drinks before dinner.

It’s a great, clean place with very welcoming staff

but there is one downside: I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel in the summer. The air conditioner won't go below 20 degrees, so it’s stuffy—we couldn't sleep at all at night.

Amazing location near everything and lovely staff

It was unseasonably hot and our room on the top floor was very warm but the staff did all they could to help

The hotel is in a great location for the lake/ferry/restaurants etc. It is very clean. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. On a negative note - the aircon only goes down to 23 degrees, in the recent heatwave it was unbearable at night. That together with a smoke alarm that flashed every few seconds all night made sleep extremely difficult. I was also horrified to find that there was no help getting my luggage up to my room on the second floor - I had to struggle up 2 flights of stairs on my own. I don’t know what older/infirm guests would have done. I’ve never experienced this before.

Great location with lots of places to eat nearby. Located very close to the ferry terminal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in a room with the harbour view & balcony. It was a bit small but the bed was comfortable. It was great being able to sit out on the balcony. The breakfast was ok. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage direkt am Hafen und am Marktplatz. Rings herum sind viele kleine suße Eisdielen, Läden und Restaurants. Der Platz vor dem Hotel ist immer sauber und angenehm belebt. Der Blick auf dem See ist super. Wunderbar ist das Frühstück auf der überdachten Terasse. Das Personal ist extrem engagiert und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet.

Die Einzelbetten könnten breiter sein.

There is absolutely nothing to fault about this hotel. The location, the views, the rooms (fridge, safe, balcony) and the staff are all fantastic. I rarely go back to the same place twice and I have never stayed at the same hotel twice. But after 3 nights there in Sept last year, I returned for a week in June. Sitting out by the old harbour having a leisurely delicious breakfast or sitting on the roof terrace overlooking the harbour in the evening were amongst the highlights of my entire week. The hotel is a short walk, 10 mins or so, downhill from the station. There are an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate area and it’s about a 3 mins leisurely stroll to the ferry. I’m already planning my return!

It was in a great location as we explored Desenzano, we didn’t have a car so it was a great central location with a short walk to the train station and just a 2 minute walk to the harbour for the boats. There are great restaurants options right on the door step and the staff were really helpful and welcoming.

The shower in one of our rooms is extremely small with little room to move so was quite difficult for washing long hair but it wouldn’t be a deal breaker, we would stay again!

Great location. Room was good.

No blanket on the bed, so it was a little cold by morning. There was a blanket in the cupboard we could have used, but at 5.00am we couldn't be bothered getting it. We could also have asked reception for a blanket and I'm sure they would have obliged.

We loved the location with the view over the harbour. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. It is really convenient for both the town and the harbour for sailing on the lake. Having a train station within 20 minutes walk is a bonus too, as Venice, Verona and many other locations are close enough to visit.

I Missed having a swimming pool.

The hotel has very good location, near harbour, very close to boat dock. It's also walking distance from train station. Rooms are basic but clean. Price-matched offer.

Overall everything was good, breakfast could be better.

The breakfast is great only missing scramble eggs / other warm eggs. The location is perfect this is my second stay in this hotel and I will choose it again. Nice big terrace that all guests can use.

This hotel was perfect in every way. SUPER clean and the staff were most accommodating and treated us VERY well indeed. The location was perfect and tons of great restaurants nearby. We could not have chosen a better hotel.

The beds were a bit too firm for us but no big deal.

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Piroscafo was honestly such a lovely hotel ran by the nicest staff. The hotel was simple, super clean and comfortable. Loved the breakfast buffet, very simple and tasty with great service. The staff were the real stand out in how helpful they were. It was very hot when we were in Desenzano, especially being on the top floor of the hotel. The hotel staff helped us by adjusting the temperature ok the air con and providing us with a fan. So sweet and considerate they were fantastic. The hotel is also a fantastic base to explore northern Italy, a 15 minute walk from the station which links to Verona, Milan and Venice with ease (the walk is uphill however). Also surrounded by so many delicious restaurants- I’d recommend especially ‘The Cave’ and ‘Gourmet Garda’ and the little bar right next door to the hotel. All in all had a lovely time at this very special hotel.

Der Hauskaffee war sehr sehr schlecht... Aber wir konnten auch anderen Kaffe aus der Maschine bestellen... der war O.K. Sonst war das Frühstück in Ordnung...

Sonst war alles sehr schön... Wir waren schon oft in Desenzano... Das Hotel ist mitten in der Altstadt... aber trotzdem leise... man muss kein Auto nehmen... denn man viele Spaziergänge machen... Außer man will die anderen hübschen Orte besuchen... Diese kann man auch ganz wunderbar mit den Schiffen erreichen... Vielleicht sollte man noch den Lift erwähnen... Sehr eng... kein Spiegel drinnen, denn dann würde es optisch etwas größer... Und man sollte die Leute gleich aufmerksam machen, daß der Lift etwas Zeit braucht... bis er sich vor dem Aussteigen öffnet... Sonst bekommt man einen Schweißausbruch... denn man denkt... die Türe öffnet sich nicht... Personal... Es sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit...

Frábærlega staðsett hótel í Desenzano, labbar í ca 10 mín frá lestarstöðinni niður í miðbæinn þar sem hótelið er staðsett. Hótelið er staðsett við litla smábátahöfn og vöknuðum við með útsýnið yfir höfnina sem var dásamlegt. Herbergin eru komin til ára sinna en þrif voru til fyrirmyndar sem bætti upplifunina. Mæli hiklaust með þessu hóteli sem vilja rólegheit á kvöldin en mikla nálægð við líf á kvöldin, þar sem allt er krögt af veitingastöðum í kring. Einnig tekur ca 2 mín frá hótelinu að labba til hafnarinnar þar sem ferjuþjónustan til annarra áfangastaða Garda er í boði.

Eins og ég nefndi þá eru herbergin komin til ára sinna, og var t.d. sturtuklefin mjög lítill.

We've just spent a week at this beautiful hotel 16th to 23rd May. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Superb shower. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We had emailed the hotel beforehand and upgraded to a balcony room and this didn't disappoint. We had room 15 on the 3rd floor and the views were stunning. Some might think the rooms are small but they have everything you need. Bed and pillows super comfy! Overlooking the old harbour you could observe the hustle and bustle and watch the world go by. It was never noisy even though our room was at the front. Plenty of restaurants and cafes, all reasonably priced. We caught the ferry on three days to Lazise, Bardolino and Sirmione. Ferry port is just a 5 minute stroll from this fabulous hotel. If you are thinking of staying in Desenzano then this is the hotel to book!

La habitación con balcón con vista al Porto Antico. Cómoda y limpia. Muy bueno el desayuno y la atención del personal encargado del mismo. Muy simpática la chica que se encuentra en la recepción por la tarde.

Qué, habiendo llegado 15 minutos antes de la hora del check in, la señora que se encontraba en la recepción nos hiciera esperar la hora exacta para permitirnos entrar a la misma.

The location was great! The staff was very helpful and polite. The room (we booked a room with the harbour view and balcony) was a bit small but clean, the bed was comfortable and the view was amazing! We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Gostei tudo exceto horário restrito demais de café da manhã e não ter um bar de apoio para pelo menos um lanche rápido ou café mesmo. Para acessar o meu quarto tinha uma escada, que o elevador não chegava. Não foi um problema pois era só 1 lance, mas talvez uma pessoa com mais dificuldades precise evitar esse quadro. Precisa estar mais claro na descrição do quarto que tem a escada para acessar.

Das sehr bemühte und freundliche Personal. Das Zimmer war frisch renoviert und ruhig. Außerdem war der Kaffee ☕️ wirklich gut!

This hotel is in a fabulous location. It’s an easy walk from the station & across the road from the ferry terminal. It’s in a very very pretty area of Desenzano. I felt safe & secure here. I was a solo traveller & my compact room & bathroom was perfect for me. The wifi was strong & worked perfectly. When I arrived at the hotel I was warmly welcomed by Colina & she went out of her way to welcome me & answer my questions. The breakfast was a typical Italian continental breakfast but there was plenty of choices & plentiful. The staff in the restaurant were also warm & welcoming. I wish I had booked a room with a view & if I return to Desenzano again I would stay here & book the canal view room. However there is a communal terrace over looking the picturesque canal & it’s a perfect place to spend time or enjoy a drink. Plus I didn’t spend much time in my room. I’m so happy to recommend this 3 star hotel that offers a great location at a good price.

There is nothing to dislike. However the staff are so lovely & I’m sure that they would go out of their way to help solve any problems.
