Hotel Shangri-La Roma by OMNIA hotels

I liked the closeness to the Palazzo dello Sport where I had my MBA Graduation. Additionally, staff was not hesitant about helping me with a document that I needed to pbring with me. Breakfast was perfect both times. If I come back to Rome, I am coming to this hotel.

la colazione : ambedue i giorni che ho soggiornato mancavano le tazze del caffe perchè dicevano le cameriere erano a lavare: consiglio di fare un "investimento" e comprare altre 200 tazze !

It was a little far from central Rome. I would have paid a little more if they provided shuttle service to possibly the colosseum ( as an example)

They upgraded us to their best room in Building 6. I think for a family of 4, going from a room that had negative reviews in the older section to the biggest suite in the hotel means that our stay was fantastic, given that we paid for a smaller room. However, my review has to be mixed since we didn't stay in the actual room that we had paid for.

The restaurant is a disaster. The staff were rude and unpleasant. The food was extremely overpriced for the quality of what was presented.

Camera spaziosa e letto molto comodo. Check in e check out veloci comodi per l'aeroporto. Struttura moderna e molto pulita. Camera dotata di tutti i comfort con anche spazzolini e dentifricio. Molto molto consigliato

Sto diventando un cliente abituale e quando c'è qualche errore del sistema rispetto alla camera che avevo scelto lo staff me lo risolve subito,ma non solo mi hanno dato una camera migliore, fare un tipo di scelta dandomi una camera di livello superiore può solo che essere una scelta vincente e fidelizzarmi per quanto mi riguarda, anzi direi un mini appartamento non camera, davvero stupendo, design super moderni e ricercati,colori e muratura del bagno stupendi, servizi completi di tutto, puoi anche decidire di cucinarti per conto tuo visto che è attrezzata di cucina totalmente accessoriata,letto e divano super comodi per un confort totale,super apprezzate le TV di ultima generazione con tutte le piattaforme di intrattenimento integrate, aria condizionata in ogni ambiente davvero top ,colazione ottima,staff gentile preparato e cordiale, un hotel di alto livello che guarda al futuro,e la ciliegina sulla torta sarà la piscina che ho visto essere in costruzione, se verrò coccolato così tornerò tantissime volte e porterò anche la mia famiglia

Our stay at the Shangri-La Rome was, unfortunately, a very disappointing end to what had otherwise been a wonderful trip through Italy. The room itself was tired and not what we expected from a hotel carrying the Shangri-La name. It lacked the quality, comfort and attention to detail you would normally associate with a luxury property. What disappointed us most, however, was the level of customer service. Rather than feeling welcomed and valued as guests, we felt like an inconvenience. On more than one occasion we observed staff speaking negatively about guests amongst themselves, which created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Whether those comments were directed at us or others, it is not something anyone expects to witness in a hotel of this calibre. Professionalism and respect should be the standard, not the exception. When we raised concerns, there was little genuine interest in resolving them. Interactions often felt dismissive, and the overall attitude lacked the warmth and hospitality that are the hallmark of great hotels. After staying in a number of hotels throughout Italy, this was easily the weakest experience of our journey. It’s disappointing because the Shangri-La brand has a strong international reputation, and this property simply did not live up to it. We hope management takes guest feedback seriously and invests in improving staff training, professionalism and customer care. A luxury hotel is defined just as much by the people who work there as it is by the rooms themselves, and this experience fell well short of the standard we expected.

The breakfast was good. Room cleaning was good. However, not being given soap on the first day, not being able to get it even when we asked, and the persistent stinginess with shampoo were annoying. My son, his friends, and I had planned to use the pool and have fun, and that’s why we chose this hotel and paid more — but the pool was under renovation, and that was really frustrating for us. I also don’t feel like I got what I paid for. I’d appreciate it if you could give even a partial refund, since I wasn’t able to use that service. Our room was far from the main building, and every day, already tired, we had to walk even more. What was really annoying was having to walk through a narrow, stuffy corridor past other rooms in the main building just to reach the exit. To get to the rooms, you either have to climb stairs or use a single-floor elevator. The elevator is stuffy, smells bad, and seems poorly maintained. The most bothersome part was how stuffy and bad-smelling it was

Hotel in continuo rinnovo, miglioramento. Struttura accogliente, spaziosa, attenzione al dettaglio. Camera e bagno ampi, accortezze minuziose, locali puliti, profumati, freschi, silenziosi. Letto comodo, morbido, piccolo balconcino, kit di cortesia. Staff sorridente, professionale. Tutto quello che ci si può aspettare.. e di più!

Manque d'explications de la part du jeune homme à l'accueil dès notre arrivée en contrepartie la fille du jour suivant était très professionnelle.

Letti singoli troppo piccoli(80 cm). Il letto singolo dovrebbe essere almeno da 100cm. Colazione scarsa e con prodotti di bassa qualità. Il personale poco empatico e cordiale. Mai ricevuto un buongiorno o buonasera passando davanti alla reception. Se ti guardano… non ti salutano…assolutamente. Palestra con pochissime attrezzature e poco pulita.

I requested an early check-in since we had an event, and they were so kind and able to accommodate my request straight away…so thank you to Lorenzo, the guy I spoke with! Plus, the room had complete bathroom essentials: body lotion, shampoo, elastic bands, and more!! Breakfast had a great variety of food, and you can even ask the barista for a fresh cappuccino instead of getting one from the usual machine. The location was perfect for us we just wanted to hop on the metro and be in the total chaos of the city within a few minutes, and that’s exactly what we got!

There was just some dirt on the restroom sliding door I think it was dried glue.

Purtroppo nel bagno, sprovvisto di finestra,vi era a tratti odore di fogna. Né al check in né al checkout mi è stato detto che bisognava pagare 20 euro per il parcheggio, l' ho scoperto solo nel momento in cui il ticket non veniva riconosciuto dalla macchinetta

Stanza pulita ed ordinata. Lo staff gentilissimo. Colazione abbondante e molto buona .Consigliato
