La excelente ubicación

Central location with good restaurants nearby. Easy walk from station. We were in budget annex, two minute walk from hotel. Hotel porter took us to room. Very helpful.

Good breakfast but breakfast arrangements were a bit chaotic. Buffet was in a small room and a bit crowded.

The location is great!

The location

The washroom was a bit dated. The shower was very tight. The towels and bedsheets were heavily bleached and smelled like chemicals. The toiletries were not good.

Victor the receptionist at the Britannia Hotel was splendid- welcoming & friendly. We arrived after 11pm so our original hotel reception was closed.

We were farmed off to some annexe in yet another ‘hotel’ (more like cobbled together rooms in an apartment block) at the dead of night.

Можно наслаждаться Римом и днём, и ночью и не быть привязанным к транспорту. В 50 метрах находится супермаркет Carrefour Express, работает с 7:00 до 22:00. Всё необходимое и вкусное всегда под рукой. Номер комфортный, для отдыха и восстановления сил есть все условия.

La cama y el aire acondicionado fueron lo mejor de la habitación.

En primer lugar cuando llegamos había dos toallas sucias en el suelo, y no parecía que estuviese limpio el baño, había una botella de plástico en el hueco de la mesita de noche, además de que por un error del personal de limpieza nos dejaron la puerta de la habitación abierta y nos dimos cuenta después de muchas horas y por último no nos repusieron papel higiénico y no teníamos.

Wir hatten nur das Zimmer gebucht ohne Frühstück. Die Lage war grossartig, wir konnten alles zu Fuss unternehmen. Der Bahnhof Termini ist ungefähr 10-15 Minuten entfernt. Es gibt viele Restaurants, Bars und auch einen Carrefour in kurzer Gehdistanz zum Hotel. Das Zimmer war klein aber sauber.

Wir waren zu Dritt im Zimmer, es war sehr eng und klein, aber wir waren ja nur zum Schlafen im Zimmer. Es gab im Zimmer praktisch keinen Stauraum für Kleider und Gepäck und auch im Badezimmer gab es keine Abstellfläche.

Loved the location and area surrounding the hotel. Little grocery across the street made it easy to get drinks and snacks. Also love that it was a triple room with 3 beds. It’s not fancy but it’s clean and comfortable in a historic hotel. Couldn’t beat the price!

No real complaints - the shower was a slow drainer and tight when you’re in it but manageable.

Disappointing stay overall. There were homeless people congregating directly outside the entrance going through bins and we were approached for money as we entered, which wasn’t a great first impression. Smells strongly of urine. One of our rooms had a toilet that wouldn’t flush and extremely loud air conditioning. As we had limited time, I messaged the hotel through Booking.com. They acknowledged the message but nothing was done to resolve either issue. The shower head in another room would fall which made showering a struggle. No rubbish was taken from rooms despite housekeeping entering rooms. We also had problems with the room access/electrics: one door key stopped working, and in another room the card used to activate the lights stopped working. Staff fixed this. The hotel itself is very dated. We had also booked several rooms at slightly different prices, but some of our group were placed together in a separate building, despite the room/pricing differences being against our favour. At checkout, we weren’t even asked how our stay had been, which rather summed up the overall lack of attention to the guest experience. Overall, there were too many small issues, and the lack of response when problems were reported made the stay feel poor value for money. To leave a toilet not functioning after housekeeping has seen and after acknowledging a message is extremely poor.

Nada. Lençóis sujos (embora tenha pedido para trocar várias vezes). TV sem controle remoto, local de banho com ralo quebrado, etc...

ho avuto un problema con il water (il tasto si incastrava e bisognava ogni volta smontare la "cover" per disincastrarlo e lo scarico non svuotava le feci) l'ho segnalato ma il problema del tasto non è stato risolto e dopo l'intervento del loro tecnico lo scarico funzionava un po meglio ma comunque non faceva scendere bene le feci.

Great location, large triple room, plenty of towels. The elevator was really quaint, with a wire cage like in the old movies and it worked very well. The lady at the reception was very friendly.

Air conditioning blew out room temperature air ( it was very hot in July), the bathroom did not have ventilation ( so all the steam came back in the room), the 2nd key card did not work ( even after we asked to have it fixed).

Great service, friendly staff and excellent location. The hotel was situated right in the heart of the places we wanted to visit. Public transport was very good and plenty of places to eat.

Az elhelyezkedése nagyon jó volt, a környék és a fontosabb látnivalók könnyen elérhetőek voltak akár gyalog. A személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt, amikor bármilyen problémát jeleztünk feléjük, mindig igyekeztek megoldást találni. A reggelis ellátást is megfelelőnek találtuk, szerintünk megérte az árát. Külön kiemelném a tisztaságot is, láthatóan nagy figyelmet fordítottak rá, a szobákat pedig rendszeresen és alaposan takarították

Nincsenek nagy gondok a szobával, viszont az ár-érték arányt tekintve drágának találtuk, ezért kiemelnék néhány észrevételt. A zuhanyzóból csak hideg vagy maximum langyos víz folyt, ami a nyári hőségben nem okozott különösebb problémát, más időszakban viszont nem lenne ideális. A hajszárító körülbelül 10 másodperc használat után lekapcsolt. A falak több helyen elszíneződtek, a bútorokra pedig ráférne egy kis modernizáció. Az ágyon két különálló egyszemélyes matrac volt, amelyek sokszor szétcsúsztak, így ez időnként kényelmetlen volt. A lift szintén meglehetősen elavult és régi.

Air conditioner in one of our rooms was damaged and they came at 12.30 am to see what was the problem but nothing could be done. I reported it in the afternoon. They offered to send me to another hotel after midnight which was not an option for us having our kids in another room. Next day I asked for a partial refund, for which I needed to send an email to the owner. I asked for free breakfast and the accepted, the breakfast was really good!

They sent us to another location. I tried to ask them to let us stay in the same location bcuz I saw many bad reviews about the other building but got rejected. The room looks NOTHING like their pictures. The bathroom is so old and small that u can barely turn or dry yourself after shower. (I am 163cm and skinny). There were ants in the bathroom and on my towels. I feel scammed. If they are 2 different hotels with different price then it’s okay. But I paid for the original hotel room, which is newer and better, but I got the worse room.

Tive alguns problemas com o hotel. Só é fornecido um cartão-chave para o quarto, o que é bastante inconveniente quando se está acompanhado. O ar-condicionado não funcionava bem, o que foi especialmente ruim nesta época do ano, com temperaturas de 35 graus à noite. O chuveiro também não funcionava direito, o que é um incômodo quando se chega cansado da rua e quer relaxar com um banho. Only one key card is provided for the room, which is quite inconvenient when you are traveling with someone else. The air conditioning did not work properly, which was especially problematic at this time of year, with nighttime temperatures reaching 35°C. The shower also did not work well, which was frustrating after a long day out when you just want to relax and take a comfortable shower. In addition, the minibar was not working properly, in fact, it did not cool anything at all. In my opinion, it was not worth the money. This was my second time in Rome, and I decided to try a different hotel, but in the end, the experience was disappointing and did not meet my expectations.

Just an average hotel. The online pictures of the rooms and of the reception area are definitely a bit more polished than reality. We booked direct with the hotel on their website and selected the "Bed & Breakfast" rate for our chosen room. When we checked in, I inquired about the time and location of the breakfast, and was told by the desk clerk that breakfast was Not included. Part of the reason we chose this hotel is that we were just passing through for one night and I'd read that the breakfast at this hotel was good. The next morning, I asked again, just to be sure there wasn't any miscommunication, and I was somewhat rudely directed by the young man to "just go out and find any bar." The room was clean enough, but there did seem to be some confusion at check-in time as to which rooms had been cleaned and were not ready for guests.

Location, it was close to the train station. Plenty of option to eat in the area.

Genel olarak tek kişi için klasik iş görecek bir oda. Küçük hareket alanı pek yok ama işimi rahatlıkla gördü. Ayrıca personeller de yardımseverdi. Konum olarak tren garına yakın olduğu için tuttum daha önceki yıllarda da buralarda kaldım benim başıma bir şey gelmedi.

Kapının önünde biriken çöpler çok rahatsız ediciydi.

Location was convenient to the train station so we could walk there with suitcases. Also walkable distance to main attractions. There is a lift which saves you having to walk up many stairs with a Suitcase.

Si bien las habitaciones reciben Limpieza a diario, los trapos con lo que lo hacen no son del todo limpios y huelen mal. Eso se impregna en el piso. Otro punto importante a mejorar es el ascensor. Es muy antiguo y demora muchísimo en llegar. Peor si se tiene maletas y hace falta esperar a que las carguen o descarguen.

This Hotel for the second night at a different location. I asked if zit could resmininthr same Hotel. Same room as the night before and I received a flat out NO. The new location as closeby and the reception agent took me there, the first room he gave me smelled musty and very humid, and the view, was an alley for dirty pipes, no coffee inthe room , onlytea as the reception said. I asked for a second room, not much better, the air conditioning only worked if you were inthe room, he stuck a makeshift piece of cardboard inthe key slot to make it work. The only offering he gave me when I requested a refund was a free breakfast at a specific time infhe rundown breakfast room atthe original Hotel Sonya. Thee elevator was very tiny and smelled of urine,outside the front of this place was recycle and trash bins, again, smelling of urine. I took my back and headed off to find a beautiful room at the Best Western Universo, costing meout of moon pocket. I have been inthe travel business for 40 years and this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I am requesting a refund from Sonya, which I doubt I will ever get.

They took me to a place in the basement, not in the main hotel building. The hot water wasn't working. And the wifi kept disconnecting; I frequently had problems connecting to the internet. Never stay here

Room was terrible, very hot as the A/C wasn't working properly, the bathroom sink wouldn't drain, the shower was almost impossible to get into due to the placement of the soap dish. Step stool up to the washroom, very dangerous, I expressed my concerns the next morning and the front desk just said " you should have told us last night " I got back to the hotel at 1130pm, no one was even at the desk at that time. I had booked a second night and they informed that it was in a different building, different location. NOT HAPPY at all. Never again

The room was cute and had a working aircon.

The shower was small and it took about 5 min until the water turned warm. When we arrived (before the check-in time), they told us to wait another 20min for the room. So, we went for a coffee and returned 30min later (now, after check-in time), but the room was still not ready. We waited another 40min for our room to be ready. Please adjust your check-in time to 4 PM if you can't have the rooms ready by 3 PM. :( Also, there was a possibly drunk guy screaming around the floor around 2 AM. Nobody took care of that. :/ Also, the hair shampoo was missing in the bathroom.
