The location was superb. We had windows on two sides of our room with lake views. A lovely old lakeside hotel sensitively modernised. Elegant breakfast room with chandeliers evoking its past grandeur. Waterfront restaurant across the road. Breakfast was excellent.

Our room was on the second floor. The stairs were steep and there was no lift. Fortunately our luggage was delivered to the room. There's a walk from the ferry port to the hotel. No taxis like in most lakeside towns around lake Como.

We chose one of their Villa Superior rooms which we would highly recommend. Comfortable bed, nice en-suite with a great shower, private terrace as well as access to a quiet communal decking area with sun beds just outside our room. Everything in the setting was good quality and well cared for. The view was breathtaking! Loved the option of creating your own juice at breakfast, and all that was on offer. It’s clear lots of thought had gone into what was on available and the presentation. We stayed 8 nights, and thought we would venture out to other restaurants during our stay, but the restaurant menu was varied and all the food delicious - so we found no need to eat elsewhere. It’s popular with locals as well as others arriving by boat from other resorts - so you do need to book your table for both lunch & dinner. Staff were all excellent - the classic family run feel was strong, with such a special atmosphere. Thank you to all the family and staff - we loved it!

This isn’t something we didn’t like, but depending on what you want from the resort and your holiday, we were pleased to have hired a car. My husband likes to run most mornings and I like to walk - the road is narrow along this stretch of the lake and you have to have your witts about you when on foot - as the traffic has a good pace to it! With just a 10min drive to Bellagio from the hotel, we started our day with a trip to the town, where we could enjoy our runs & walks before coming back for breakfast. A great work out if you like elevation, very pretty surroundings and more glorious views of the lake.

L hôtel est au top , nous avions la chambre 2 avec vue sur le Lac magnifique , elle n est pas très grande mais suffit pour un petit séjour. Équipement à notre disposition sur la plage.. Padel ...canoë..toboggan sur le lac .serviette et transat . Personnel très gentil , la personne qui nous a accueilli le jour de notre arrivée parlait français . Un petit déjeuner au top du top. Petit bémol: place de parking difficile a avoir en fin de journée avec la grosse influence du restaurant mais on nous a toujours trouve une solution Je recommande à 100%.

Loved my stay here. Family run and in a wonderful location right on Lake Como. The staff were brilliant - effortlessly looking after me and making me feel that they cared about my experience. The room overlooked the lake with a balcony - I couldn't ask for more. They have a watersports club attached to the hotel that caters for your every need. The food was amazing - dinner and breakfast. What I liked was that it wasn't in the main crush of either Como or Bellagio. Small town and a more authentic experience. The cost was also extremely reasonable for the area. I am looking for the next time I can go back! Secure parking too.

Das kleine Hotel Villa Aurora spielt in einer höheren Liga als die drei bescheidenen Sterne vermuten lassen. Das Hotel bietet unglaublich viel Charme und ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Die Lage direkt am Comersee ist wunderschön. Die Strasse vor dem Haus ist in keinster Weise ein Störfaktor. Unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Sicht auf den See buchen - es gibt kaum etwas romantischeres, als mit dem Blick auf den See aufzuwachen. Das Restaurant ist toll und bietet eine wunderbare Küche und eine tolle Auswahl an Weinen bei aufmerksamem Service. Der hauseigene Beach Club lädt zum Verweilen und Schwimmen im See ein. Was braucht man noch mehr!

Nettes Personal hat sich sofort für einen gedeckten Platz für unsere Motorräder gekümmert.

The location is phenomenal and you can walk just across the street and down the stairs and you are at the deck to hang out and they give you towels and chairs.

My room was a little small, but I booked it for just one person. Even though it was small, it had everything I needed plus a lot of extra stuff in the bathroom.

What an amazing experience! Our suite was incredible. The balcony and the gorgeous view made it even more special — we truly enjoyed every moment. The restaurant was absolutely outstanding, honestly one of the best we have ever experienced. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly nice, friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. From beginning to end, everything was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful property, wonderful food, amazing views, and exceptional hospitality! ❤️

The location is excellent, away from maddening crowds of Bellagio. They have parking facilities. Their restaurant has beautiful lake como views and scrumptious food alongwith the good service. Our room was right on the lake. Little mini mart is nearby. We booked this hotel at the last minute and it exceeded our expectations.

The location being away from the high touristy areas but still a 5 minute bus or ferry ride away to explore and be able to come back to the quaint living area. The access to the lake and amenities given to people staying at the Hotel. And of course the friendly staff who made my fiancè and I feel like we were a part of their family.

Unfortunately when I got there I had lost my luggage at the airport and I was distraught the hotel went above and beyond to make accommodations to make me comfortable, particularly the hotel manager who helped me make the calls as I do not speak Italian. The breakfast is beautiful the deck is breath taking it feels like you’re in your own little haven I cannot recommend enough

We had an absolutely magical stay at Hotel Villa Aurora! I chose this beautiful place for my marriage proposal, and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The vibe here is just amazing, mostly thanks to the incredible staff. From the second we checked in, everyone was super welcoming and friendly—from the reception desk to the team at the restaurant next door. the food there was absolutely delicious and of outstanding quality! We stayed in a room in the villa and the view of Lake Como was just breathtaking. Plus, it was awesome to see they have tons of water sports and activities right there at the hotel. When it came to the proposal itself, the staff went totally above and beyond. They helped me with every little detail, from setting everything up to coordinating with local vendors. They took all the stress off my shoulders and made sure the moment was absolutely perfect. The location is stunning, the service is top-notch, and having the lake right at your doorstep is unbeatable. If you're looking for a romantic getaway with great hospitality, this is definitely the place. Huge thanks to the whole team for making our special moment unforgettable!

Perfect vacation! Piece of heaven. The room very nice , lake view ,private deck in a renovated building next to the main building in which there are Pizzeria, Bar and breakfast. You can enjoy an active and relaxing stay using all their equipment for free : canoe, swimming in the lake even with life vest , lying in the sun under umbrellas and on comfortable chairs or on sup. The air conditioning works very well. Free parking and a super breakfast with the machine for fresh juice. The bathroom very spacious. Very clean

Top Frühstück.

Schlecht ausgestattestes Bad, dass auch noch viel zu klein für 2 Personen ist. Trotz Reklamation konnte der Mangel des schlecht ablaufenden Wasser im Waschbecken nicht behoben werden. Eine blonde Servicedame im Hotel und auch teilweise im Restaurant, war massiv unfreundlich.

The location is on the ferry routes and a short car or bus ride to Belagio which gives you access to anywhere. The views across and up the lake from here are wonderful.

It’s traditional with a modern feel and has been maintained exceptionally well. Lovely facilities with plenty of room. Access to the lakeside restaurant and sun deck is simply across the road.

חדר גדול עם נוף מדהים לאגם, שירות נקיון כל יום, דק עם גישה למים ישירות ומיטות שיזוף, טרמפולינת מים סאפ וקיק בחינם, אפשרות לפעילויות מים נוספות (אבוב וכן) במחירים סבירים, מכונת קפה טובה בארוחת בוקר. המיקום מעולה למי שעם רכב נהגנו ממש כמה דקות להרבה מקומות יפים.

אין ירקות בכלל בארוחת בוקר בצורה קיצונית,אבל יש מה לאכול לצאת שבעים - מוזלי, קורוסון, קפה,ריבות ועוגות.. אין שפע של חניה , אבל הם מפעילים מישהו שלוקח את המפתחות ומזיז את הרכבים, הרגשתי בטוח להשאיר בידיים שלהם.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, with breathtaking views of Lake Como, and the restaurant serves delicious food and excellent drinks. I also loved the lakeside deck, which was perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming in the lake — a wonderful feature that I wasn't expecting.

The check-in process could have been better explained. I was not given the Wi-Fi password or informed that the reception entrance would be locked at night, nor was I provided with the access code. As a result, I was locked outside the hotel for more than 30 minutes at 2:00 a.m. without knowing how to get back in. The checkin process and access to the hotel need to be improved. The room would also benefit from blackout blinds or curtains, as the amount of natural light coming in early in the morning made it difficult to sleep.

Fabulous from the time we booked. Pre arrival questions answered really quickly, very helpful staff. On arrival everyone was welcoming. Our room was fantastic, facilities great. Restaurant was lovely & most staff welcoming. Bar staff were great. Breakfast was amazing - every possible option was available.

Our last day the decking area outside our personal verandah was t as Hannover all afternoon by photo team & personalised table etc. felt unable to utilise our area. Would have been nice for prior notice so we could have gone out & not felt captive in our room

Booked a small single room out the back which was excellent value for money. This is a gem of a property essentially on the lake front with wonderful views excellent dining lake front access with beach chairs. Lovely ambience. Bus almost at front door. Ferry less than 10 min walk. Staff welcoming. Room tasteful decor super clean with very comfortable bed and linens. Very quiet. Good nights sleep. Breakfast. Good to see such a wide range of fresh fruit nuts and seeds for a plant based diet Highly recommend. Would love to stay here again.

It was in an ideal setting on the lakeside away from the main touristy areas. Breakfast was good. The restaurant offered a varied menu and was well prepared. Excellent drinks choices. Our room was fine with ample space a good view over the lake and an excellent bathroom

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The location is perfect for exploring Lake Como, yet the property itself is so beautiful and relaxing that you'll be tempted to spend your entire stay there. The breakfast was hands-down the best we had in Italy, and we enjoyed every meal at the restaurant. The on-site laundry facilities were another thoughtful touch that made our stay even more comfortable and convenient.

Our only full day brought steady rain, yet it became one of our favorite memories of the trip. The hotel is so serene and beautiful that we found ourselves perfectly content to slow down, listen to the rain, take afternoon naps, and savor the relaxed rhythm of this wonderful place.

What a glorious hotel. Location, service, room, food. Everything was wonderful. We had the room with the private deck and being able to swim in the lake was glorious. Food in the restaurant was perfect, breakfast ample and sumptuous. We will definitely stay again

The staff were great. They helped mark my wife’s birthday. Jonathon the owner was super. Nothing was too much. Awesome location with great facilities out on the water. A quiet and pleasant village with a store, other restaurants and bar nearby, but really there’s no need to leave the hotel location as their restaurant is superb, the bar is great and the views are stunning.

Uitzicht (balkon met zicht op Como) was fantastisch. Het dorpje is perfect, niet te druk maar knus en gezellig. Personeel, vooral bij het ontbijt, zeer vriendelijk en geweldige service. Je krijgt hier écht waar voor je geld. We konden gratis suppen/kanoen/op de bedjes liggen. Je kon er een bootje huren. Het was in één woord: geweldig!

Park platz problem

The staff were fantastic! Extremely friendly, patient (we were a big group ) and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean (cleaned every day). Huge amount of choice at breakfast. The bar area was an added bonus, as was their restaurant just over the road. Would highly recommended staying at this hotel in a quieter area of Lake Como as it was a great base to easily visit the other places on the lake. (The boat ticket office man in Lezzeno was also amazingly friendly and helpful!)

If you're thinking of visiting Bellagio, this hotel is only a short 10 minute drive away. It's also near a bus station that will take you there, and even has a restaurant located opposite it that serves excellent Italian seafood dishes. The facilities are quite well equipped and the rooms are large, with excellent views of the lake if you choose. There is also free parking on site. The room I chose had a huge bathroom as well, which made the stay more comfy. If you're not thinking of going anyway and just relaxing at the hotel, you can also hire a boat to take you around or lounge at the public area overlooking the lake.

If you're not driving, finding a taxi is very hard and buses that go through or stop nearby may be full, even during off peak season. For the hotel itself, you may need to unload/load luggage up yourself as they have limited staff and no elevators.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. The watersports on offer were great. The bistro for meals on the deck was a great way to end the day. Loved, loved, loved!!

Only small comment is that the bed is quite short and uncomfortable.

The location was great, the drive interesting... The breakfast was good and had a good variety. The central location was worth all the troubles so overall was great and worth our time and money.

The check.out took forever and the parking needs to be rearranged. Small cars have a difficult time getting in there. After the second stay at a different hotel I came to the conclusion that the Italians don't seems to be able to build a shower that doesn't flood the bathroom or even the bedroom... 😀

Очень чистые номера. Приветлывый персоеал. Все вопросы решаются быстро. Маленькие милые магазинчики в шаговой доступности. Аптекс в шаговой доступности. Астановка автобуса рялом с гостинницей. Паромный причал в шаговой доступности. Единственная сложность это использование такси, приходится пользоваться общественным транспортом, а с учетом сиесты, это иногда вызывало сложности. Вкуснейший и обильно разнообразные завтраки. Много свежих фруктов. Великолепнейший кофе. Рядом прекрасный ресторан с отличной домашней кухней. Приятное обслуживание.
