El personal muy educado y correcto pero con poca vocación de servicio. Si me gustaría destacar la predisposición de Humberto de la recepción que fue muy amable y predispuesto. El restaurante de la playa es muy lindo pero tiene poca variedad y el desayuno es bastante bastante escueto.

Really nice and modern hotel right in front of the lake, with large rooms and spacious bathrooms, very comfortable beds and lovely terraces with amazing views over the lake. The staff were super helpful and friendly too.

When you’re paying around €700 per night, I think you naturally expect some small details to be included, like not having to pay extra for an omelette or poached eggs at breakfast. The sun loungers by the pool could also have some cushions to make them a bit more comfortable, rather than having to lie directly on the mesh. We also found the restaurant prices quite high. Paying around €20 for a pizza feels a little excessive when there are other places just next to the hotel where you can have a really good pizza for around €10, with incredible views over the lake. So overall, considering the price and the level of the hotel, I think these are some areas where the experience could definitely be improved.

La plage privée, la piscine et les activités proposées (paddle, kayak, etc..) offrent un cadre vraiment exceptionnel ! On ne se lasse pas de cette vue.

Pour le prix payé, la chambre n’était pas au niveau attendu. De plus, les prix pratiqués dans le bar ou le restaurant sont trop élevés.

The view is breathtaking, which makes the experience even more disappointing. We booked expecting a luxury hotel experience, but our family apartment is around 150–200 metres from the hotel facilities, with no room service. For a family of five, we received only four pool towels and no bathrobes. The arrival was equally disappointing: we were taken with our luggage through a basement area and simply directed towards the apartment. Unfortunately, when we raised our concerns, the manager seemed more interested in defending the hotel than listening to us or finding a solution. A beautiful property, but for families staying in the separate apartments, the experience simply does not justify the price. Please also find attached fome photos with nonconvenient things from apt.

Emplacement magnifique. La vue sur le Lac est incroyable. La Plage privée est très très agréable . Elle permet de bien profiter du lac . Le restaurant de la plage est très bien , les plats sont bons et le personnel très agréable . Même chose pour le personnel de la réception . Très bon accueil et très professionnel.

Wonderful experience. We stayed in a two story villa that I was originally concerned about but ended up being perfect. The air conditioning was fantastic, the rooms were clean and they provided water everyday. Location was great - 5 miles outside Bellagio. The hotel was quiet with a good blend of families and couples. The pool was great and the beach - although rocky- had a ton of great cabanas. There were only two slight area for improvement - the elevator was out on the first day and the breakfast was not impressive with very little to eat.

No real complaints. It's tough to get around the Lake Como area, but the staff are very helpful assisting with transit (Bus, Boat or Car).

The location was quite, beautiful scenery, the staff were very professional and accommodating.

The food options were extremely limited for most of the day given the remote location. Only Pizza and salad were available for most of the day. The restaurant options were fair and not available for most of the day. Travelers from abroad expect more options for Italian food that were juts not offered throughout the day.

The property is undoubtedly beautiful, and the location is absolutely stunning. We stayed in one of the apartments located in a separate building next to the main hotel. The apartment itself was rather basic in terms of décor (nothing like the more elegant, design-oriented style of the hotel) but it was spacious and offered breathtaking views over Lake Como. We especially loved the large terrace overlooking the lake. The swimming pool and private beach were both very enjoyable, especially during the extremely hot days of summer 2026. The large private parking area (available for an additional fee) was also very convenient. Unfortunately, what really leaves a bitter taste is the service, which was simply unacceptable for a property in this price range. Much of the staff seemed poorly trained, disorganized, and at times unmotivated. Neither check-in nor check-out felt particularly warm or welcoming. At Filo restaurant (where we had both breakfast and dinner, and found the food to be just ok), as well as at the beach club, there was very little attention paid to the guest experience. We experienced endless waits just to receive a menu, dishes were served without any explanation of what they contained, and overall there was a constant sense of confusion. I noticed that many of the employees were very young and probably in their first hospitality jobs. I don't want to blame them, because they genuinely seemed to be doing their best and were always friendly and smiling. The real responsibility lies with the management, who should be properly training the staff and ensuring they have the basic information needed to assist guests, something that clearly isn't happening, or at least isn't being done effectively. I understand that Lake Como is famously expensive, but if you want to position yourself in the luxury segment, you also need to provide a level of service that matches the prices you charge.

The location was amazing! The hotel staff was also very nice, the views are second to none!

The fact that there were steps from the building to move 6 pieces of large luggage on our own the morning of us leaving to a place it can be loaded was not ideal. The staff did make suggestions and the driver helped too. The fine dining restaurant for dinner was great in terms of the quality and craftsmanship of the food, but the selection could have been better, the dishes were pretty nuanced.

The location of Hotel Filario is amazing. Lake Como is stunning, and the view from our room was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives mostly ended. On arrival, we were welcomed by a very professional receptionist, but she was the only staff member during our stay who seemed experienced and well-trained. Our first night was terrible because the room was extremely dusty. There were spider webs, spiders, and bugs in several corners, and even the ventilation was full of dust. We reported it the next morning, and while it was cleaned afterwards, this should never have been the condition of the room when we arrived. The room also had other issues. The lighting was so dim that the five mirrors were almost useless, and the air conditioning clearly wasn’t working properly. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Most days the room was cleaned poorly, except on the last day when it finally looked like someone had taken the job seriously. Breakfast was a real letdown. For a hotel that charges these prices and presents itself as a luxury hotel, it felt more like a two-star breakfast than a four-star experience. The restaurant staff were excellent and were by far the best part of our stay next to the lady at day one check in . Unfortunately, the reception staff after check-in came across as undertrained, uninterested, and sometimes even arrogant. The checkout experience was especially disappointing: no eye contact, no “How was your stay?”, just taking the payment and handing over the bill. I wanted to mention the issues, but it was obvious there was no interest in hearing them. I also noticed that previous reviews on google and tripadvisor mentioned the same problems in Room 303 and the problems regarding undertrained staff members.. this doesn’t seem to be a one-off. For the price, the quality of this hotel is simply not worth it. The views are incredible, but they don’t make up for poor cleanliness, disappointing service, and an underwhelming overall experience.

The main restaurant had a very limited choice of food. Very expensive , small portions of very fancy food.5)3 Lake side food was the opposite only Pizza or a small choice of salads and sandwiches.

I booked 3 nights during the San Giovanni festival. the view was amazing, the hotel section has large modern wonderful rooms. the food was great, the staff wonderful. My first Italian lake experience could not have been better and we will be re booking.

The view is amazing and the location is fine if you want to pay for uber or water taxis to get anywhere. The pool is very nice and the beach access is good as well. Excellent lake access, Good offering of kayaks and paddle boards. Swimming pool was clean fresh and nice to be in. Overall for the price we paid for 3 nights I was expecting a lot more and have received more from other places for less.

I really wanted to give this a much higher rating but there are too many logistical, design and staff issues. First the residence rooms are poorly equipped , no microwave, no toaster, just 4 plates and no steak knives .. the closets are poorly designed and you can’t hang dresses as they hit the floor and you can’t close the closet doors. Next, only certain guests get the welcome bag / hat that is part of the brand and it’s impossible to purchase according to the SMUG receptionist who wasn’t nice about it all. It made us feel very unwelcome. You must have a car to traverse the roadways , they are narrow and dangerous and I would not recommend to walk them at all. And while we had a washing machine for clothes we had to hang them to dry on the balcony and chairs .. it wasn’t til the last day they brought in a drying rack.

Filario Hotel in Lezzeno is amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond — attentive, warm, and genuinely responsive to every need without ever being intrusive. We had some unexpected things happen while there, and it was handled with grace and ease. The villa itself is fabulous. Everything is well-maintained, and the flowers around the grounds were spectacular! Whether relaxing on the terrace with those breathtaking Lake Como views or simply wandering the property, everything felt pristine and thoughtfully cared for. Breakfast each morning was a genuine highlight — a delicious spread that set the perfect tone for the day. Fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Filario is away from a lot of the busyness around Lake Como, but easy to get to any place you want to with ease. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a refined yet welcoming retreat on one of Italy's most beautiful lakes.

You are right on the lake, we loved it here. Great pool area with views across the lake, we used the free paddle boards and ate pizza from the bar. Honestly couldn’t fault this place a real hidden gem. You will not be disappointed at all

First the good, of which there is plenty. Stunning location, beautiful hotel and great seafront with lots of cabanas and sun beds. Beach bar open from 12 to 8, good selection of food, very limited choice of wines by the glass. The white was quite bland, the rose ok. The restaurant is on the lakeside with fabulous views. It only has a small menu and is quite nouvelle cuisine, with small portions. The food is delicious though. Staff everywhere are incredibly, helpful, friendly and efficient. Lezzeno is very small and the road into the “village” has very few pavements. We ate at the Osteria il Governo, lovely garden terrace, and Aurora which had a lakeside frontage. Both good. The 130 bus runs along the lake into Como, about a 45 minute journey. Air conditioned, speedy buses with tickets about 4E per person. The Could be Better - in June the ferries are packed and people are jammed in. The timetable could be better. Going upstream there is a 9 am boat with the next one at 10 58 and 11 05. We wanted to go to Bellagio so went for the 10 58, when the ferry came it was full so no one could get on. Another ferry came from across the lake which was empty so we were first on. Three stops later at Tremmezzo huge groups got on, people were standing everywhere, it was jam packed. Bellagio was beautiful but oh so crowded. The first ferry to Como is 12 15 and takes over 2 hours, so we forked out for a taxi, at only 160E! Went to book ferry tickets for the return trip, queued 35 mins but gave up as we were only half way along in the queue. Hence taking the bus back. We went in June, I hesitate to say this but Como is awash with Americans, wherever you go, the hotel seemed to be 98% occupied by them. Nice people, but all we could hear, wherever we went, was American accents. I nicknamed the area Americomo, the 52nd State. The Bad - lots of young American children who like to use the pool. Much screaming and shouting, not stopped by their parents. They play a game in the pool called Marco Polo, a game of water tag. And the continued shouting of Marco….Polo, Marco……Polo, it doesn’t stop, was really annoying and the shrieking voices really carried. It went on for over an hour one day with a group of 6, until 7pm. I think the hotel was really lovely, I would love to give it a 5, but the downsides mean we would not return.

Staff attempted to defraud us at checkin. Claiming that their fx conversion was commission free when it actually charges 5%. Totally unacceptable.

Truly a gem of all gems! The price point for the experience is like no other. Views are incredible - food is amazing - staff is fantastic - water access is like no other in Lake Como. I couldn't give it a higher review! It's absolutely perfect for families of all ages. Can't wait to return!!

They did not have a shop in the property and the food service was limited as well as no room service.

The property is not a 4 star hotel, closer to 3. It is very remote, there are no taxis and no Ubers. Their drivers charge an arm and a leg for the car service and private boat service since the ferry’s last stop is at 5:20. The manager/ owner argued with us often as we asked politely to leave earlier due to the lack of sidewalks and exorbitant amount to money they charge for the rides. They declined. Then we had multiple issues with cleaning staff for turning on a towel warmer that cooked all of our toiletries and lying about it or when they charged us 100 euros for a breakfast of dry bread, cheese and cold cuts while claiming we had fruits, yogurts and assortments of condiments. In filario the staff is always right and the client is wrong! I got sick there and had to call front desk three times to see and doctor and or get an ambulance..Their food was not great. Their beach was ok. Their breakfast was not great. Some of the front desk staff and restaurant servers we’re wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay at Filario Hotel and would gladly return. The location on Lake Como is spectacular, with breathtaking views from the room and throughout the property. The hotel is modern, elegant, spotless and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. A special compliment to the staff, who were always friendly, professional and helpful. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. The only disappointment was the restaurant. After many outstanding meals during our Italy trip, the tasting menu did not meet our expectations. Some dishes felt overly complicated, with flavour combinations that did not always work well together. For the price charged, we expected considerably more. The hotel deserves 5 stars. The restaurant, unfortunately, does not

Très bel appartement donnant sur le lac. Vue exceptionnelle. Appartement spacieux , calme et lumineux avec une grande terrasse. Piscine très agréable. Restaurant gastronomique. Personnel très pro et sympathique.

A améliorer: pas assez d'ustensiles de cuisine dans l'appartement envisagez des rideaux occultant pour que le réveil ne soit pas trop tôt le matin.

La chambre (suite) était formidable avec sa vue et ses équipements ! Le restaurant de très grande qualité, et le staff que ce soit en restauration ou au Front Office, était aux petits soins avec nous, toujours avec le sourire et beaucoup de gentillesse. Un séjour Fantastique !

We stayed in one of the lakeside apartments which was on two floors. The accommodation was comfortable although the shower was quite cramped, and we had to ask for an anti-slip mat for the floor, which was very slippery and had a large and awkwardly positioned drain hole. The plugs on both the sink and bidet didn’t function, and weren’t repaired during our 6 night stay. The kitchen area, which was presumably intended to allow self catering, was quite spacious and well equipped but lacked a microwave oven. The hotel breakfasts were very good.

10/10 on everything. I cannot fault a single thing about this hotel, the staff, the food, the room but what stood out to us most was the service of the staff and level of quality of the food. The concierge are fantastic, they accommodated a private 3 hour boat tour and even chef made birthday cake for my wife as it was her birthday. Our room was breath taking, right on the lake with our own private pool. Can’t wait to go back would recommend 1000%

Everything went extremely well. Concierge were incredibly accommodating to all requests I made. Parking was perfect, secure but very accessible for hotel guests - and reasonably priced at . Breakfast was great, dinner at restaurante filo was delicious - small portions but reasonably priced for the experience. Short walk (8-10 min) from the ferry station to explore other towns on the lake. I can’t think of any downsides to our stay, everything was perfect.

That was perfect holiday! Stuff is incredibly friendly, and always eager to help! Breakfast is tasty. Hotel organized some cool trip to Villa del Balbianello.

Conta com piscina, além de uma pequena praia particular com espreguiçadeiras confortáveis e uma paisagem deslumbrante. O quarto 101 tem vista privilegiada por estar no canto superior do hotel. A equipe do hotel é muito gentil e sempre pronta a atender a qualquer pedido. O jantar no restaurante Filo completou minha estada de maneira inesquecível. Todos os pratos estavam deliciosos! Enfim, foi uma experiência fantástica! Obrigada a todos!

Le petit déjeuner, le personnel de l’accueil aimable et la belle vue sur le lac de Côme

Nous séjournions en couple dans l’une des résidences située à côté de l’immeuble principal de l hôtel. La qualité des meubles et équipements était mauvaise (meuble IKEA en contre plaqué), il n’y avait même pas une étagère pour poser son nécessaire de toilette dans la salle de bain. La salle de bain était d’ailleurs vétuste, le carrelage du bac à douche cassé et le porte serviette se détachait du mur. S’agissant de l’emplacement c’est vraiment pas idéal. L’hôtel n’est pas dans une ville, il est situé sur le bord de la route, et la plupart des chambres sont à l’ombre toute la journée. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés on nous a indiqué qu’il fallait payer le parking 20€/jour, alors que l’on n’avait pas le choix de garer votre véhicule ailleurs du fait du positionnement de l’hôtel. On se sent pris en otage. Le trajet depuis les résidences jusqu’a l’établissement principal est long et pas pratique pour des personnes à mobilité réduite ou âgées. Mon mari a des béquilles et il ne lui a pas été proposé de l’aider pour se rendre au restaurant avec les voiturettes de l’hôtel. Le ménage de la chambre laisse également à désirer, il y avait des traces de chaussures noires au sol lorsque nous sommes arrivés. Et enfin et surtout, l’immeuble des résidences n’est pas insonorisé, donc nous avons entendu toute la nuit les cris, pas et sprint des voisins du dessus et leurs enfants… si vous souhaitez dormir, pensez à vous munir de bouchons d’oreilles. Le petit déjeuner bien qu’il soit bon et copieux, propose également un service à la carte avec des omelettes facturées 8€… rien que ça. Nous n’avons globalement pas apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel.

The hotel was clean and a short distance from the ferry. The staff was polite and attentive. The restaurant for dinner had a limited menu and definitely not with the price. The portions were extremely small and very pricey. The location of the hotel is out in the outskirts of town so it makes it difficult if you want to go to another restaurant or bar. The hotel is perfect to travel to the other towns by ferry. The bed in our bedroom was very uncomfortable and the pillows could hardly be called pillows.

El alojamiento estaba muy cuidado con unas vistas estupendas al lago. El apartamento era muy cómodo y silencioso. El desayuno estaba buenísimo! Repetiríamos sin duda

All'hotel Filario abbiamo apprezzato le bellezze del Lago di Como in un luogo magico, autentico e dotato di tutti i comfort. È un posto unico per godersi il Lago nell'assoluta tranquillità, accompagnati dagli squisiti piatti del ristorante e da un servizio impeccabile da parte di tutto lo staff. Il riposo è assicurato da camere pulite, confortevoli e spaziose.

We stayed for a couple of nights at the end of a wonderful holiday. This was the perfect end to our memory packed tour. Accommodation in the apartment was spacious, comfortable and ideal. The food in the main Hotel was exceptionally good as was the service. The location served us well being lakeside and with good access to transport links. A sense of calm tranquility enhanced our stay despite being so very close to all of the bustling lakeside towns. The weather was awful. We did not care.

Che dire, erano anni che volevamo visitare il famosissimo lago di Como e fortunatamente abbiamo scelto questa splendida struttura. La posizione è ottima con spiaggia privata sul lago. Noi siamo stati in stanza ma sono disponibili anche dei bellissimi appartamenti. Lo staff è estremamente disponibile e si è impegnato al massimo per accoglierci al meglio e soddisfare oigni nostra richiesta. Il ricordo dei bellissimi aperitiva in spiaggia ci accompagnerà per sempre.

Filario is pure perfection on Lake Como. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Our room was modern, elegant, and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Beautiful view of the lake, large rooms with a comfortable bed. Pool was incredible and the private beach with lounge chairs and servers was an added bonus.

You do have to rely on a bus or water taxi to get to Bellagio unless you have a rental car. But being off the beaten path was also a plus as it was much quieter and not crowded like Bellagio.
