Staff where very friendly and helpful

Das Zimmer war traumhaft auch der Blick aus Meer. Was man einfach wissen muss, dass die Hotels direkt an der Uferpromenade/Strasse liegen und auf dem Balkon war es schon recht laut. Das Meer war zwar nur ca. 100m weg aber die Wellen konnten wir leider nicht hören. Evt waren wir auch etwas zu blauäugig, was das Treiben zu dieser Jahresezit (Mitte September) in Menton angeht. Die Zimmer waren aber perfekt gegen den Strassenlärm abgedämmt, absolut super. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Great location and view from our balcony OMG!! Beautiful

Very nice hotel - pretty lobby and rooms. The bathroom was clean and up to date. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious - a typical European spread including cold cuts, various breads/pastries, eggs, fruit, yogurts, pancakes etc. The room service was also good. Pool area is a little small, but we knew it wasn't a resort type pool - we wanted to stay here b/c we were literally across the street from the beach and a short walk into the historic center of Menton so definitely worth the tradeoff. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Polite at all times. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it!

There is a school right behind the hotel, if you don’t have sea view then you have to deal with the school students looking straight to your window on school days, I had to put the blinds down for my whole stay that is the only downside of the hotel

wij komen hier al meer dan 40 jaar, jaarlijks, soms meerdere keren per jaar. Voor het eerst zijn we minder tevreden. Zie hieronder

De televisie deed het niet en ondanks tweemaal hierop wijzen, werd het niet hersteld. De douchekop viel steeds naar beneden; ook dit werd niet hersteld. Douchen was dus lastig. Douchen kon overigens alleen in bad. Er was nog steeds geen inloopdouche

Le personnel très accueillant et au petit soin. La décoration est superbe. Petit déjeuner avec bcp de choix.

purtroppo abbiamo trovato diverse formiche in camera e avrei proposto una formula colazione anche semplice (oltre quella ricca a buffet da 19 euro) dato che in prossimità dell’hotel non ci sono caffetterie ma a qualche minuto a piedi

Where do I even begin to rate this fantastic place?? Fabulous location close to the Sablettes beach (3 min walk) and the Grande Roue. 13 min walk to the city center Rooms are clean and fresh, daily maid service. The poo and bar areas are very cosy. Great drinks too. Daily supply of pool/ beach towels off charge AND the reception staff, there arent enough words to describe the kindness, professionalism and level of service! Always helpful with a smile on their face. Especial extra credit to Stefania, who helped us to rearrange and upgrade our room to balcony so that we could enjoy seaview while having a drink. I will definitely come back next year!!!

Struttura comodissima e carinissima a Menton. Vicina alle spiagge, al lungo mare e a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro. Camera molto confortevole, bel bagno spazioso, staff che parla italiano gentilissimo. Ci hanno fornito anche gli asciugamani per la spiaggia. Sala Colazione bella e nuova. Colazione molto buona. Consigliassimo! Peccato averci passato solo una notte

L'hôtel est très bien placé à côté du centre historique, face à la plage et commerces de proximité. La chambre est jolie et harmonieuse au thème de Jean Cocteau. Elle est, équipée d'un frigo avec boissons libre sevice et bouilloire. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse et bienveillance admirable. La piscine est plus grande qu'elle ne paraît sur les photos. Il y a un parking payant et surveillé. Toutefois, il y a des places devant L'hôtel. Belle expérience.

Manque un balcon dans la chambre sur la vue montagne. Mais tout était parfait.

Das es Zuwenig Parkplätze gibt! Die Lage des Zimmers. Im ersten Stock direkt über dem Pool. Sehr hohe Lärmbelastung vom Poolbereich und der Strasse. Geringer Meerblick.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Hotel Napoleon, what really stands out is the service and hospitality. We travelled with our 2 boys, and they were treated so kindl, as were we. For me, a younger girl Karla, I believe, was a stand out member of the team. Her infectious smile, her warmth and her empathy shone, a true treasure to have in your hotel and how lucky you are to have her on your team along with a warm welcome from Francesca. The breakfast was very good, rooms were clean and spacious, we had inter connecting rooms which were ideal. Room service and cleaning was exceptional plus warm and friendly housekeeping team, each day rooms were made up, free mini bar of cold drinks, juice and water replenished daily, a rarity usually only see this commitment in 5 star hotels, beach towels provided for beach days and pool towels for pool days, car park and beach 2 mins across the road, lovely juices at the bar, snacks with drinks, I would definitely recommend a stay and would return. Used the gym a few times, small & compact but useful however air con in this space would be good. Air con in rooms exceptional, location superb for exploring Menton by foot plus Jardin walk to rear. Morning walks are safe and scenic, on a wide pathway in both directions. our kids loved the pool, the beach is shallow and big wheel on the doorstep. thank you.

Loved the wonderful staff and customer service, everyone is really friendly, accommodating and truly nice! Very modern, clean, comfortable hotel with perfect location, the beach is a short walk across the street, supermarket across the street, very much impressed and will be happy to return to this hotel again in the future!

As a property was adjacent to a main Rhodes, it could be quite noisy at the Phull site which is at the front of the hotel. However, this is a minor issue compared to all of the other positives that the hotel offered.

A hotel nagyon szép, igényes, a szobák tiszták, az ágy nagyon kényelmes.Közel van mindenhez, belváros, bolt, vasútállomás, strand.Reggeli bőséges, a szállodai dolgozók nagyon kedvesek.Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, szívesen visszatérünk!

A takarítógépek használata nagyon zajos volt napközben, illetve felülről és a szomszéd szobából nagyon áthallatszottak a zajok.

Wonderful family run hotel. The staff can’t do enough for you and want you to feel you are at a home from home. They supply water free of charge whenever you want and the drinks and snacks are very reasonably priced. Quite a rarity these days. Lovely little pool exceptionally clean and fitness room next to it. The rooms are a good size, modern and spotless and if you opt for a balcony with a seaview you will have the best views of Menton.

We recently returned from stunning Menton where we spent 10 nights at our favourite Hotel - The Napoleon. This was our third visit to this comfortable stylish Hotel which ticks all our boxes - location, views, comfortable beds, stylish spotless rooms, delicious breakfast and amazing staff - service with a smile every time. An easy 10-15 minute walk into Menton makes exploring easy and there is a huge choice of restaurants for dining. The Hotel is situated close to the Marina where you can find a couple of restaurants and coffee shops too. The nearby fabulously stocked supermarket is great for snacks/cold drinks/wine etc. One day they were selling freshly made paella and olive selection just outside the store so, with a lovely bottle of wine, we enjoyed lunch on our hotel balcony whilst admiring the sea view. Highly recommended. Huge thank you to everyone at Hotel Napoleon for being part of our wonderful holiday and we look forward to seeing you in September x

De behulpzaamheid en vriendelijkheid van het personeel.

Aan een drukke baan gelegen, maar dat wisten wij op voorhand en hebben ons hiernaar geschikt. Het uitzicht was daarentegen fantastisch en dat maakte alles goed.

L'accueil est très chaleureux et l'ensemble du personnel très aimable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la piscine très agréable.

Lage ist sehr gut, Hotelpersonal hilfsbereit und sehr nett, Hotel sehr ordentlich und sauber. Es wäre schöner, wenn das Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen wäre oder für diejenigen angepasst würde, die nicht königlich frühstücken, besonders für die KInder.

Die Lage ist super, aber da es direkt an der Hauptstrasse liegt, ist es laut. Wer Ruhe sucht, sollte sich vielleicht ein Zimmer mit Gartenblick suchen. Menton ist eine schöne Stadt mit italienisch-französischen Flair, sehr angenehm, aber ich würde einen Aufenthalt dort an den heissesten Sommertagen nicht empfehlen. Es gibt keinen natürlichen Schatten am Strand und er war am Ende Mai bereit überfüllt (für meinen Geschmack)

Bel établissement en bordure de mer. Chambre côté montagne calme. Accueil très agréable, une chambre bien aménagée, salle de bain agréable. Piscine sympa, dommage pour le bruit, mais l'emplacement ne peut pas l'éviter. Salle de petit déjeuner très agréable avec une belle sélection de met.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und tollem Blick aufs Meer! Dass der Inhalt der Minibar kostenfrei zur Verfügung steht und Wasser sogar nachgefüllt wird, ist ein besonders toller Service. Angenehmes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal.

Die Straße ist schon recht laut, wenn man auf dem Balkon sitzt, aber darauf kann man sich gut einstellen. Die Fenster sind gut isoliert.

Based on the location and other reviews of hotels in Menton, we decided to try this little hotel. We were very pleased with our decision! It’s located in a quieter part of town with ocean views. We had to stay one nite in a room on backside of hotel which was nice but small, altho they’re all same size rooms I believe. We then stayed 5 nites in a balcony room which we highly recommend doing. Mainly bc it’s on the waterfront and u can relax on the balcony and take more advantage of the room and view. We were on 1st floor-would rec higher if poss, but still was great. There’s a brkfast for 19€ downstairs, but we opted for coffee on balcony in the AM. We would have the apéro in the evening as well. There’s a large supermarket just across the street so easy to get snacks/food/wine. They have a little fridge which is convenient. It’s an easy walk to downtown and there are many great restaurants everywhere! They have a pool but we didn’t use it-it gets the morning sun, but it’s small and we didn’t use it. Small workout room for the diehards, but nothing great. So to sum up, The staff is super friendly, hotel very clean (their towels smell amazing), rooms small but that’s Europe, ambience is cozy and quiet, easy access to beach, town, restaurants, train etc. Worth a stay!

The room was good

It has trains near by a noisy air vent from a next door school . The pool is not much bigger than a bath tub ! Tiny The worst is that the reception has a problem with a septic tank ! Smelt yucky

Hotel in ottima posizione vicino alla spiaggia Sablettes. Personale alla reception molto cordiale, sorridente e disponibile. Stefania ci ha accolti con un drink di benvenuto e fornito molte indicazioni utili. La nostra camera era abbastanza spaziosa e con un comodo balcone vista mare. Il frigobar gratuito e rifornito ogni giorno è stata una gradita sorpresa. Peccato solo per la mancanza di una macchina del caffè in capsule. Proprio di fronte all’hotel c’è un piazzale con parcheggio gratuito in bassa stagione.

La mancanza del bidet per noi italiani è sempre un punto a sfavore. Qualche dettaglio della camera avrebbe bisogno di un ammodernamento (è scomodo entrare nella vasca per fare la doccia)
