Das Hotel ist sehr charmant. Der Parkplatz ist grosszügig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und die Atmosphäre insgesamt sehr angenehm. In das Zentrum von Amboise läuft man ca. 15 Minuten.

Très satisfaite de cet hôtel qui est vraiment très agréable. D’abord j’ai reçu avec mon fils un excellent accueil, nous sommes arrivés à 1h30 du matin et tout a été prévu pour notre arrivée tardive et du coup l’installation a été rapide et facile ! La patronne est très sympathique. La dame ukrainienne qui travaille au petit déjeuner est également adorable ainsi que la dame de ménage. L’hôtel est très bien situé dans un quartier hyper calme et à 12-15 minutes du château de Chenonceau. Il possède un grand parking et une terrasse et un coin de verdure pour se poser un peu . L’hôtel et les chambres dont très propre. Nous avions une chambre lit King size au 2ème étage avec une grande salle de bains avec une grand fenêtre et avec baignoire. Il y a un nécessaire à thé /café , un petit coin placard. La literie est confortable ainsi que les oreillers. Le petit déjeuner est servi jusqu’à 10 h avec tout ce qu’il faut , haricots, œufs , bacon , saucisses, charcuterie, fromage, viennoiseries, gâteau, madeleine, pancakes, jus frais , multi-jus,et tout ce qu’il faut pour tartiner ! Et le service est excellent, personnel attentif et chaleureux. A l’accueil il y a une petite boutique très sympathique. L’hôtel a un ascenseur. Vraiment je recommande cet hôtel pour visiter la région car il est top !

Il bagno pulito è funzionale ma piccolo rispetto alla categoria dell’hotel. Colazione mediocre. Quando accidentalmente ci si è chiusa a chiave la finestra del bagno, il personale ci ha detto di non avere la chiave perché il personale di servizio non era presente in struttura.

Geschlossener Parkplatz. Ok für auf der Durchreise. Frühstück war gut.

Ausserhalb vom Zentrum, am besten mit dem Auto hin.

L'accès est difficile avec des valises: Cour en graviers, escalier pour entrer. Chambre (204) très petite et salle de bains minuscule pour une chambre "supérieure". Insonorisation moyenne. Télévision petite et sombre. Petit déjeuner très cher . Rapport qualité/prix insuffisant.

El personal no es amable, la habitación era pequeña, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y como mi estancia fue en días de mas de 30 grados por el día y noches calidas solo pude tener acceso a un pequeño ventilador que hacia mucho ruido pero que al menos algo aliviaba sin recibir disculpas por parte del personal. El desayuno era francamente mejorable

Por hacer alguna sugerencia ponen a disposición huevos cocidos fríos y pelados. Me gustan calientes y hacérmelos yo. Sugiero dispongan de una máquina a tal fin como en la mayoría de hoteles.

Ottimo Hotel, con parcheggio gratuito. Non comodo per chi non ha l'auto, ma per noi comodissimo! Disponibile all'ingresso acqua microfiltrata anche fredda, un ottimo servizio!

Très bel hôtel et très belle bâtisse. A conseiller. Le réceptionniste est de grande classe. Un grand merci à lui. Rapport qualité/prix excellent.

Excusez-moi du terme, mais comptabilité quant au paiement, extrêmement mal géré. Ce genre de chose, lors de vacances, est extrêmement désagréable.

La habitación era pequeña y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, lo que hizo poco grata la estancia ya que fueron unos días que aunque no fueron los más terribles en temperatura, sin embargo era imprescindible refrigerar la habitación para poder dormir tranquilamente y no lo conseguí. Tampoco el personal que me aistió se caracterizó por su amabilidad

A lovely, comfortable, and reasonably priced hotel about a 20-minute walk from the center of Amboise. We stayed three nights during the terrible heat wave, and the staff did everything possible to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The mattress was one of the most comfortable we have ever tried! We slept very well despite the heat. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, even for me being gluten free. This was a quiet, peaceful, and well-located hotel for our stay in Amboise.

C'est un hôtel qui est très bien situé car il n'est qu'à deux kilomètres du centre-ville. Les chambres sont très correctes, la salle de bain est suffisamment grande pour un homme de 1m90 et 150kg. Les toilettes dans la salle de bain mais ... séparées par une porte. C'est très "originale" mais super pratique. Ce n'est pas un grand hôtel avec 20.000 chambres toutes les mêmes. C'est une ancienne maison de maître transformée en hôtel tout en gardant le style initial de la bâtisse. Le déjeuner était très bien, un choix très complet de charcuteries, plats chauds, laitages, boulangeries et boissons chaudes et froides. Le parking de l'établissement est situé à l'arrière et est suffisamment grand. Le personnel était très sympathique et a répondu à nos demandes avec réactivité (pharmacie de garde). Nous nous y sommes arrêtés sur la route des vacances qui nous menait à l'embouchure de la Loire. Cet arrêt nous a permis de visiter quelques châteaux magnifiques.

Peut-être avoir directement quelques boissons (même payantes) dans le mini-bar comme une bouteille d'eau, un soda, ... Un peu plus d'espace dans la chambre mais vu que c'est une rénovation, ce n'était certainement pas faisable...

Le personnel était très gentil et aux petits soins. Parking vélo sécurisé avec possibilité de recharger les vélos électriques. Le petit déjeuner était royal, très diversifié et avec des produits de bonnes qualité. Malheureusement la clim était en panne, pendant cette période de canicule c'est assez compliqué. Un ventilateur efficace a été mis à notre disposition.

La déco de la chambre un peu vieillotte. Bruit de l'ascenseur un peu présent. Impossibilité d'ouvrir les fenêtres car elles donnaient sur la terrasse.

Das Hotel entsprach in jeder Hinsicht einem 3*Sternehotel, war sauber und von der Lage wie beschrieben. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war gut.

In der Beschreibung des Hotels wurde eine Klimaanlage ausgewiesen. Diese war zwar vorhanden, funktionierte aber nach Aussage der Mitarbeiter bei solch hohen Temperaturen häufig nicht. Habe nach einem anderen Zimmer gefragt, aber dort bestand dasselbe Problem. Ich empfehle, das Angebot einer Klimaanlage in der Beschreibung zu streichen, wenn diese insbesondere bei heissem Wetter nicht funktioniert. Das erspart allen Beteiligten Ärger. Die Klimaanlage ist für viele Gäste bei Buchung ein entscheidendes Kriterium. Wenn diese bekanntlich nicht funktioniert, ist das irreführend und ärgerlich für den Gast, der den vollen Preis selbstverständlich trotzdem bezahlen soll. Daher gibt es von mir eine schlechte Bewertung.

Petit déjeuner, la chambre (sauf la clim) et le grand parking privé

Climatisation défaillante, nuit très chaude: plus on pousse la ventilation moins il y a de froid. Le ventilateur fourni ne suffit pas et le tout est très bruyant. Pour le prix de la chambre, pas terrible. Petit déjeuner offert le dernier jour, je pense en compensation.

De airco werkt niet. We hebben ons ingesmeerd met Deet en met het raam open geslapen. Hartje zomer was het niet te doen op de kamer qua temperatuur. Locatie is ook best ver lopen van het centrum. Op de terugweg maar een Uber genomen. Geen zin om in 35 graden de berg op te moeten lopen.

Établissement situé un peu en dehors du centre ville. Parking fermé le soir et très pratique. Bon accueil.

Bra när man kommer med bil och att det finns fri parkering precis vid hotell entrén. Snyggt och välskött, välstädat.

Lite för långt utanför stan för att gå på kvällen och om man har cyklar så är det ingen gatubelysning på vägen från stan och till hotellet. Frukostmatsalen är mindre och har ingen utomhus- terrass. Det finns en enkel terrass bakom hotellet men den får man endast använda för att köpa och dricka hotellets drycker. Flera i personalen var jättetrevliga medan någon var dryg och avmätt.

Rapport qualité /prix en dessous. Climatisation non fonctionnelle. Salle de bain et sanitaire d'un autre age. Chambre petite. Petit déjeuner de bonne qualité mais rien d'exceptionnel pour le prix demandé.

Dobra miejscówka na przystanek podczas rowerowej lub samochodowej wyprawy wzdłuż Loary. Nieco oddalony od centrum, ale za to cicho i spokojnie. Specjalny garaż na rowery to dodatkowy atut. Dobre śniadanie i sympatyczny personel. Polecam.

The staff were lovely. Unfortunately the weather was 40c+ and the air conditioning was unable to cope but there were fans in the rooms and they offers numerous cooling sleep aids which was great.

Really nice hotel with so much to offer except working air conditioning. Room 211 in our case. Nothing could be done about it according to staff. No fan available. We used this as a stopover en-route back to Le Shuttle and an air conditioned room was a pre-requisite. Amboise is worth a visit.

We booked this stay in advance, using a card which worked for all other booking.com bookings. For some reason it was deemed invalid, we had to re-book, pay a higher rate. Neither hotel or booking.com able explain this. Not impressed. (To re-book I used another card whch was also refused despite being active- there seems to be a technical fault which nobody is taking responsibility for and we ended up paying more because of it, still trying get booking.com to acknowledge this).

The receptionist when i arrived was very helpful. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. The bed was large and comfortable.

They don't serve food in the evening and after a 6 hour drive, i would have preferred to eat there, rather than walk for 15 mins into town. But that's just nit picking, it wasn't a big problem.

La nostra camera era grande e comoda, il bagno grande anch’esso ed era predisposto per le persone con disabilità. La colazione è stata strepitosa, tutto molto buono. Een van de slechtste hotelervaringen die ik ooit heb gehad. Bij aankomst bleek mijn kamer direct naast de lift te liggen. In de kamer was de lift voortdurend duidelijk hoorbaar. Voor mij was dat onacceptabel, dus ik ben direct terug naar de receptie gegaan met de vraag of er een rustigere kamer beschikbaar was. Helaas bleek het hotel volledig volgeboekt te zijn en was er geen andere kamer beschikbaar. Dat kan natuurlijk gebeuren, maar voor mij betekende dit dat ik onmogelijk een rustige nacht zou hebben. Daarom heb ik besloten direct te vertrekken en een ander hotel te boeken. Wat ik echt onbegrijpelijk vind, is dat het hotel vervolgens het volledige bedrag in rekening heeft gebracht, terwijl ik de kamer niet heb gebruikt en er geen minuut heb geslapen. Ik ben vrijwel direct na het inchecken vertrokken omdat het hotel geen alternatief kon bieden. Daarnaast vond ik de algemene staat van het hotel zwaar onder de maat. Het gebouw oogt verouderd en straalt absoluut niet de kwaliteit uit die je van een Best Western mag verwachten. Ik begrijp dat een volgeboekt hotel niet zomaar een andere kamer kan aanbieden. Maar in een situatie waarin een gast direct vertrekt omdat er geen passende oplossing mogelijk is, had ik veel meer coulance verwacht. Nu betaal ik de volledige prijs voor een verblijf waarvan ik geen gebruik heb gemaakt én moest ik op eigen kosten een ander hotel boeken. Voor mij een enorme teleurstelling en een ervaring die totaal niet past bij wat ik van het Best Western-merk verwacht. Ik zal hier niet meer terugkomen.

Very good location for getting into town. very helpful staff.

The staff were excellent. Unfortunately we stayed during the 'heat dome; ' recently (temp 42 degrees). The staff emailed us to say that the air conditioning had partly broken and could not get any lower than 30 degrees. They provided us with chilled water and fans. I learnt that when the staff raised the problem with the owner of this Best Western franchise, she was very dismissive and said "sorry, sort it out yourselves, I'm on holiday!!" , I think Best Western and Booking.com had better 'have a chat with the owner' about her management and treatment of guests and staff.!!

Très bel hôtel, bien situé et accessible. Je n'ai passé qu'une nuit mais je reviendrais sûrement et je n'hésiterais pas à y passer un séjour plus long. Le personnel est très chaleureux et sympathique.

A number of negative notices telling guests what they can’t do rather than what they can. A notice in the breakfast table advising food can’t be taken out of the restaurant. A notice on the terrace advising it may only be used if drinks are ordered etc.
