A lovely hotel located in the heart of Amboise, just steps away from all the attractions. We were warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who was very knowledgeable about the area. We had an excellent stay; the room was very comfortable and clean. One piece of advice: they urgently need to install a safe so guests can store documents and money, rather than having to carry them around and risk losing them. I would definitely return.

nur eine Decke für zwei Personen noch dazu als Winterdecke im Sommer ist nicht sinnvoll! Bei einem Zimmer unter dem Dach ist die Klimaanlage zum kühlen da und sollte vom Zimmerservice nicht abgeschaltet werden!

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Wunderschöner, ruhiger Bungalow im Hinterhof des Haupthauses. Lage sehr zentral, Parkplatz auf dem Hof ist nachts abgeschlossen.

There was great parking. You could walk easily to amazing restaurants. I felt nice in private. The views from the room were amazing. The staff really made it amazing they were there whenever you needed them and had great energy.

Beautiful building, perfect location only a few minutes from the river. Staff were so kind and when hearing that we were travelling with a baby they upgraded us to a larger room so we’d be more comfortable.

Colazione un po’ striminzita, mi sarei aspettato viennoiserie di livello più alto. Quando veniva pulita la stanza non veniva mai aggiunta neanche una bottiglia d’acqua.

Nous n’avons pas trop aimé le style « bungalow » de la chambre.

This is a comfortable, self contained, property immediately adjacent to the main accommodation. Secure parking is provided. We did not take breakfast but enjoyed our overnight stay. We particularly enjoyed walking around the town and its waterfront at night.

Perfect location for the old centre.

We had a garden room which smelt damp, a few ants and bugs but that’s probably because it was ground floor and in the garden. Very Average breakfast. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

ac didn't work well. no coffee or minifridge in room. no bar at hotel. door lock broken; repairedsecond day. room chairs uncomfortable. decor blah.

Um atendimento excelente, de grande simpatia, muito limpo e organizado, ótima localização e muito bom pequeno almoço.

O quarto não tinha janela, apenas uma porta envidraçada para o exterior

Lovely hotel in centre of town. Parking good, very clean and comfortable, would definitely use it again. Amboise is a stunning little town and a 12kms kayak down the Loire was delightful. A great stop

Large bedrooms and ensuite bathroom. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Small gardens and parking spaces also good. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional.

A fridge in the room would have been useful to keep drinks cold.

Nicely decorated property and rooms. A big bonus is the onsite free parking. Rooms are also nice and the staff was helpful with dinner reservations.

The top floor was a bit of a hike up a staircase with circular turns. Would be nice to have an elevator.

This hotel is in the heart of the old town. You can walk to all the attractions and many restaurants. The hotel has a lot of charm similar to a mini chateau feeling. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious in an elegant dining room. There was secure parking.

It met all our expectations.

Location was perfect, charming, great staff, good local experience, rooms where a good size.

In room decoration wasn’t the prettiest, one of the rooms was extremely hot and a/c did not function properly.

Fantastic location close to centre of Amboise. Walk to chateau and to the final home of leonardo da vinci. Restaurants your doorstep. Very friendly and helpful staff

Beautiful room with balcony, amazing view, old charm with updated shower and air conditioner, comfortable bed, location was perfect.

No tea or coffee in room, but could be purchased in the common room.

The location is perfect - in the centre of town

Two tiny things - firstly our room was rather overlooked so had to make sure the curtains were always closed whilst undressing etc. we were on the ground floor so had people walking past a lot of the time. The other thing was the towels which rather than being white were grey and rather rough. The hotel needs some nice new ones!!

We were upgraded upon arrival automatically with no extra charge to a very spacious room. My partner and I had more than ample room for our belongings and finding our own personal space and storage. Breakfast was delicious!

Great location in the center of Amboise. Parking on site was a huge bonus. Room was clean and well equipped.

Since this is 4 star hotel, we were shocked that the beds were so uncomfortable. It was as if they hadn't changed or even rotated the mattress for years. Also the air conditioning blew directly on our face - made it very uncomfortable trying to sleep. And finally, the shower curtain was discolored on the bottom 6 inches or so - again, just really unexpected for a 4 star hotel.

Maybe tea and coffee facilities in room would be good and a couple more glasses .

The location was perfect for exploring the old city center and proximity to the chateau and dining was excellent! Our room (actually a cottage) was perfect.

The ingress and egress into the parking area is tricky; especially on egress. The smaller the car, the better. The toilet is the worst one we encountered in our month long stay in France. It sprayed water everywhere even with the seat down. You literally had to wipe it down to make sure you didn’t get wet in the next use.

The location was ideal- central to everything we wanted to see and do in Amboise. Our room was large, and the bathroom setup was perfect (separate small room for the toilet, but still in the bathroom). My wife accidentally left something behind in the closet and the hotel staff notified us promptly so we could return and get it.

There are no coffeemakers or electric kettles in the rooms, nor are there mini-fridges. In fact, they discourage eating at all in the rooms. We often needed to get an earlier start so we could beat the tour buses to local sites. Breakfast wasn’t served until 8 at the hotel, so we had to find local boulangeries that opened earlier. Being able to have coffee right off the bat would have been nice. The floors are a bit squeaky, so not ideal if you’re someone who has to use the bathroom at night.

Amazing view of the Chateau, beautiful room, big claw foot tub and a laundry line available. All so well appointed and thoughtful. Lovely salon with tea available after dinner.

Staff unfriendly. and not helpful. Breakfast not good and not worth it. Getting in and especially out of the parking lot was very difficult.

Amazing location, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great value, lovely breakfast!

We had a living area in our room which went unused and were up some stairs in our accommodation. Access for us was fine but for visitors with mobility issues it wouldn’t be ideal.

La proximité du château, le parking sécurisé fermé, dans la cour de la bâtisse.

Le fait d'être logé dans une dépendance, une pièce borgne qui plus est (juste la porte de la chambre est demi-vitrée). La photo de présentation de l'hôtel sur booking laisse espérer une jolie demeure, donc il y a bien de quoi être déçu. Le matelas bien fatigué penche dangereusement. Pas d'eau chaude le matin! Pas de cafetière ni même juste une bouilloire dans la chambre.

Great location - few minutes' walk from the castle, 500 meters from Clos Lucé. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby, in addition to the hotel restaurant. Spacious cottage-style mezzanine with large double bed, the staff is courteous and there is free parking within the hotel grounds

Center of town. Clean and comfortable. Big room. Helpful staff. We didnt have the breakfast since there was a cafe around the corner but it looked delicious. There is a parking lot that is locked overnight.

We were in a very comfortable and spacious garden room which meant that we had to keep the drapes closed after dark to have any privacy. But the drapes did completely block the windows so that was good.
