La gentillesse du personnel, l’emplacement dans le centre à 2 pas des restaurants et zones touristiques

La seule ouverture de la chambre donnait sur le roof top de l’hôtel où tous les clients venaient fumer. Impossible d’aérer la chambre ou de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes. La climatisation a donc fonctionné en continu ☹️. Dommage car l’hôtel est super. J’ai remarqué que les chambres réservées par booking sont les moins sympas de l’établissement…😏

Very good location, close to the city center, a lot of restaurants and stores nearby with easy access by foot. The room was comfortable and clean.

The breakfast was included but with not much variety, it can be improved in terms of product quality.

The hotel had comfy beds and a really nice bathroom.

We needed 2 twin beds. In the pics the beds look further apart but they are not. They are basically right on top of each other. A bit awkward to share a room with someone who is not a significant other. I would recommend getting two rooms if staying for more than one night.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 5. Stock, mit Dachterrasse. Die Zimmer konnten wir bereits um 12 Uhr beziehen. Personal war sehr aufmerksam und flexibel. Bestellen ein Taxi. Frühstück mit allem, was man braucht. Getränkeautomat im 5. Stock mit sehr günstigen Preisen. Pancake Maschine, alles frisch beim Frühstück.

Топ локация. Удобни легла и възглавници. Приятно изглеждаща стая. Телевизор, кана за топла вода, машина за кафе (без кафе), козметика, сейф. Добра закуска. Любезен персонал.

Мръсна баня - каналът на мивката, около батерията, по ръбовете на душ кабината. Климатикът беше ту силен, ту слаб и с неприятна миризма. Нямаше възможност за простиране на балкона. Няма никаква възможност да де паркира пред хотела и дори временното спиране за разтоварване на багаж е трудно. Но хотелът си партнира с паркинг наблизо (около 300 м.) с цена от 15 Евро за 24 часа.

El ruido de la nevera y las luces "fantasma", como la de emergencias, pero creo que es algo común en Grecia.

Personnel très accueillant, très gentil et d’une grande aide, la chambre est parfaitement confortable et opérationnel. Et enfin le petit-déjeuner est très bon L’emplacement de l’hôtel est parfait, à quelques minutes à peine du centre-ville et du port.

Super zentrale Lage und dennoch ruhig. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, mit guter Auswahl und die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich. Check-In Zeit ist sehr gut und das Gepäck wurde nach Check-Out bis zum Abflug am Abend sicher aufbewahrt. Modern eingerichtet und sehr bequemes Bett. Zu empfehlen!

Albergo moderno e con buon isolamento acustico situato una zona centrale, dove queste caratteristiche sono una rarità. Il quartiere è centrale, un po' degradato, come del resto tutto il centro della città, ma sicuro. La stanza nell' ultimo piano dava accesso diretto alla terrazza con una vista ampia e buona ventilazione .La collazione a buffet molto completa. La possibilità di usufruire di vicinissimo parking convenzionato è molto apprezzabile.

Da migliorare l'aria condizionata, difficile da regolare.

The location and the stuff was amazing! :) it is really close to the city centre and the stadd was always very kind d and helpful with everything! The breakfast is nice with the freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly baked pancakes. Thanks for everything:) The parking is tricky in this area so the best is to go to city center parking , a garage house like 2 minutes walk from the hotel. If you tell then you stay in Kastro hotel, they will give you a discount price! We paid 30 euros for 2 days ( so 15 eur/ day with the hotel discount, otherwise it is 18 eur/ day). You can take out your car during this time whenever you need it, and take it back as lon as your parjing ticket is valid! The staff was also extremely kind there! There is another parkinf directly next to the hotel. I do not reccommend using that it is more expensive and the guy is pretty angry and crazy… even on google maps you can see horrible reviews about it!

We were on the fifth floor and somehow when we turned on the air conditioner it was smelly. Other than this, the bed was to soft for me, but this is really up to you personally preference! Someone else might have been happy about it :)

Das Hotel lag sehr zentral. Man ist mitten in der Stadt und erreicht alles schnell zu Fuß. Das Zimmer war sehr modern eingerichtet und das große Bett ein Traum. Beim Frühstücksbuffet fand man alles um gut in den Tag zu starten.

Der Pool am Dach hat uns gefehlt 😁 leider hatten wir keinen Balkon und da fühlt man sich dann ein wenig eingeschränkt, aber die Dachterrasse ist super!

Φαινόταν πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο δωμάτιο και ήταν καλύτερο από ότι είχα δει στις φωτογραφίες

Δεν έχει ούτε μπαλκόνι ούτε κάποια εσωτερική απλώστρα με αποτέλεσμα να μην έχουμε που να απλώσουμε τις πετσέτες και τα μαγιώ μας. Επίσης η καθαριότητα χρειάζεται βελτίωση (στους καθρέφτες και στα μαύρα έπιπλα ήταν έντονα τα σημάδια)

The room was very modern and high-tech, with lots of new features. The breakfast was exceptional, and the location was also excellent.

The rooms were too small, and the hotel felt more suited to business trips than summer holidays. Our family’s room had a strong cigarette smell, and unfortunately, there wasn’t much that could be done to improve it apart from opening the windows.

Staff molto gentile e disponibile, ottima posizione. Camera pulita e moderna, un po’ piccola e soffocante, ma tutto sommato rapporto qualità prezzo ok. Colazione piacevole, variegata ma non c’erano i cornetti. Parcheggio su strada non sempre facile da trovare. Attenzione alle strisce blu sono riservate ai residenti, noi abbiamo avuto una sanzione di 30€ .

We have stayed there just one night but the overall impression was excellent. A very modern, elegant, room. They provide not only a refrigerator but also sleepers and bathrobes (something you usually you do not have even in 4 stars hotel). PS: on the other side of the hotel entrance there is an excellent restaurant: Hagiata.

L’hotel è ottimo solo per la sua posizione , la stanza veniva pulita ogni giorno ma comunque rimane una struttura datata , specialmente la zona colazione , la reception personale scontrese sia all’entrata che all’uscita su sette giorni salutato un paio di volte , nei bagni si sente sempre una puzza tra fogna e umidità

Ένα δωμάτιο που έφτασε τις προσδοκίες μας, με όλες τις παροχές και τις ανέσεις. Ευρύχωρο, σύγχρονο, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με όμορφο φωτισμό, άνετο και bonus τεράστιο κρεβάτι.

Μέναμε στον πέμπτο και τελευταίο όροφο, όπου ακριβώς έξω από το δωμάτιο υπήρχε εξωτερικός χώρος κοινόχρηστος σαν roof garden και μπροουσαν οι φιλοξενούμενοι του ξενοδοχείου να έρθουν να πιουν πχ το ποτό τους-αυτό έχει σαν αποτέλεσμα να υπάρχει αρκετή φασαρία. Επίσης δεν υπάρχει χώρος για να απλώσεις ρούχα (δηλαδή απλώστρα) παρά μόνο κρεμάστρες.

The hotel is in a great spot! Breakfast was delicious 😋. There are so many items to choose from-hot-cold. Across the street, there's a Taverna that is great!. We were on the 5th floor near the terrace. There was a vending machine with water, beer, peach ice tea, crackers & KitKats -all reasonable, right outsideour door. They had an elevator. Very nice hotel. Would definitely stay their again.

Great location, close to everything you might need, including shops, restaurants and parking. The hotel itself was clean, modern and comfortable, and the staff were absolutely lovely. The only disappointment was the breakfast — we arrived around 45 minutes before it ended, but unfortunately most things were already gone and weren’t replenished. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay!

Os quartos são bons e confortaveis, os banheiros foram modernizados e oferecem uma boa ducha. O café da manhã é muito bom, oferece refeições completas.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter à pied le centre d’Heraklion. Propreté et équipements de la chambre parfaits. Machine à café et bouilloire avec thé et café à disposition dès notre arrivé. Salle de bain magnifique et roof top qui permet de prendre un verre au calme.

L’hôtel est bien situé dans la ville, la chambre est propre et équipée.

En voyant les commentaires qui disaient que le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel je m’attendais à cela mais finalement ce buffet à volonté ne m’a pas transcendé… à part la nourriture typique grecque, qui a l’air d’être fait maison, rien ne m’a donné envie.. Dans la chambre, en été, il faut laisser la ventilation allumée toute la nuit pour ne pas avoir trop chaud.. le problème c’est qu’elle est très bruyante. De plus la ventilation dans les toilettes sent les égouts !

It was perfect

Dans l’ensemble, nous avons passé un bon séjour. L’équipe est sympathique, accueillante et toujours disponible. L’hôtel bénéficie également d’un très bon emplacement, ce qui est un vrai point fort pour découvrir les alentours.

En revanche, un point négatif est à signaler : la salle de bain. À chaque douche, il y avait une fuite et de l’eau se retrouvait partout sur le sol, ce qui était assez contraignant. C’est un problème qui mériterait d’être corrigé.

I like clean neat modern city hotels a lot and Castro was for sure One of them : beautifully reconstructed, The best material is used in the rooms, The bathroom, the bed…Everything was excellent. Breakfast was also exceptional. There is a big variety of so many local products as well. and I can’t thank Thasos enough who was at the reception during my check-in: very friendly yet very professional and his advices has helped me a big time during my time in Crete. Location is also excellent.

Bardzo fajny hotel zlokalizowany w samym centrum Heraklionu. Niedaleko przystanki autobusowe, sklepy, knajpy, dojście do morza. Świetna baza wypadowa. Miły personel, hotel bardzo czysty. Ładny, przytulny pokój z balkonem, wygodne łóżko. Dostępne środki czystości, zestaw do parzenia kawy i herbaty, lodówka. Pokój sprzątany na bieżąco, na życzenie gości. Bardzo dobre śniadania. Nie ma problemu z pozostawieniem bagażu w przypadku późniejszego lotu. Szczerze polecam to miejsce 😀

Jedynym minusem była łazienka, która różniła się od tych na zdjęciach. Była mniejsza i po kąpieli był problemem z zalegającą wodą wokół prysznica. Poza tym wszystko bez zarzutu.

Great location, super close to the center of the town. Delicious breakfast. Reception works directly with local agencies for tours and car rentals, so they can organize all of that for you on the spot.

Parking slots near hotel are always occupied. Nearby city parking is expensive as it can be.

The location is great, right in the city centre and everything is accessible on foot. The room was really nice and modern, freshly renovated and there was coffee offered in the rooms, which was a nice touch.

It is a bit challenging to change the air-conditioning settings. There was something in the bed sheets that created some skin problem for me. When I reported it to two different reception employees, they both denied it and one of them even asked to see my skin issue as proof. I did not expect any refund or discount, as these things happen. I would have been satisfied with a short apology and them promising to look into it. However, the way they handled it was unprofessional for an industry that depends on reviews.

l'Hotel Kastro è un ottimo compromesso se si cerca qualcosa di centrale, non distante dal movimento. Ha un parcheggio vicino per 15€ al giorno, che si pagano volentieri, è un parcheggio H24. La camera come da descrizione, ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Doccia capiente (difficile da trovare in alberghi di questo tipo) e pulizia buona.

Non voglio offendere nessuno, ma partendo dalla receptionist in generale c'è poca comunicazione, e quasi svogliata. La cosa peggiore è stata la colazione. Poca scelta ed anche se arrivavi ad un orario consono le cose erano quasi terminate (e raramente avviene un refill). Una mattina volevo del latte, e piuttosto che caricarlo, la signora che si occupava della gestione colazione chiama la mia ragazza con fare arrogante mostrandole che era rimasto un goccio di latte e che doveva inclinare il recipiente per fare in modo che questo scendesse. Dei modi pessimi, al limite della maleducazione. Totalmente da rivedere l'atteggiamento e la colazione in generale.
