Reviewed Sep 18, 2026The location is very convenient. It is within easy walking distance to the city center and situated very close to public transportation, making it a perfect base for exploring. Another plus is the convenient cafe in the hotel, which is perfect for a quick morning coffee or bite to eat. As for the room itself, it was comfortable and well-equipped. The AC kept the room perfectly cool, and the shower had great water pressure. The absolute best part of the room, however, was the balcony, which offered fantastic, scenic views of the area. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond—they were welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful with any questions I had.
The only drawback to the stay was the immediate surroundings. There is a large presence of homeless individuals in the neighborhood, which is something to be aware of when walking around the area specially at night

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026the location was awesome, I could see the streets below and the buildings across and the mountains far away. there is also a neighborhood market a couple of blocks down, they had fruits and vegetables and clothes and shoes at reasonable prices, and some restaurants. there is also a small restaurant attached to the hotel for coffee and pastries. the metro was a couple of streets away for easy transport. It was about 7 minutes away from from most attractions using the metro. It had an elevator for convenience and easy access. The room was airconditioned, plenty of towels, and there were no interruptions. the front desk were very friendly and spoke english and were always there if I needed anything. I recommend it

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026La habitación muy amplia, el baño grande y bastante nuevo, llegamos y nos atendieron muy bien, nos dejaron dejar las maletas y nos dieron 4 botellitas de agua y galletas. La verdad muy amables en todo momento y dispuestos a ayuda en todo. A 200 metros hay una parada de metro. Pasamos solo 1 noche y esta muy bien por el precio.
La zona por la noche es fea, pero nosotros volvimos al hotel sobre las 20 hs y no tuvimos ningún problema.

İlk kaldığımda etrafını gezmeden direk taksiyle gelip dönmüştük. Sonraki ziyaretimde yürüyerek merkeze gidip geldim. Etrafında homeless ve Hint mahallesi gibi insanlar vardı. Metroya yakın olması iyi ama dediğim gibi ters bi çevresi var.

The area around was not really safe, but I don’t know if this is just this area or most of Athens. Overall, the main streets are good but the smaller street not really.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Mon fils et moi avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de tous les membres du personnel que nous avons rencontrés : réception de jour et de nuit, dame de nettoyage, personnel au café. Emplacement parfait avec bus hop on hop off et métro à proximité.
La proximité des jeunes drogués était malheureuse à observer, mais malgré nos nombreux passages par leur zone, nous n'avons jamais été ennuyés ou interpelés. La présence de la police à proximité est aussi rassurante.

Cleaning lady really nice and hardworking. There is AC in room. Room was not big but it was enough for us. Good value. There is a Caffe which is connected with hotel so coffee is right there with sandwiches to buy
The neighbour around in smaller streets was not safe at night, so it is better to stay away from it and use only main streets. Also for some reason to drink coffee at Caffe premises costs double than to buy take out coffee, so we paid double the price for the coffee at first day.

Only the manager needs to approve having a friend visit me in my room. The visit should be in the room, not in the lobby, because we want to welcome our guests with respect. The manager cannot simply decide that guests are not allowed to enter. Second, please prepare the breakfast again. It is necessary.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you can get a room for around €10 a night and have no other choice. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. When I removed the bedsheet, I found the mattress in a disgusting condition, with stains and old food trapped inside it. It honestly looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned or replaced in years. The toilet flush didn't work properly, which was very inconvenient throughout my stay. The room was also very dark, with the window overlooking a street where many people appeared to be using drugs. They didn't bother me, but as a solo female traveler, I never felt comfortable walking back to the hotel, especially after dark. Finally, the staff were not particularly welcoming. The interaction felt very transactional: they took the payment and that was about it. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

Υπήρχε λίγος θόρυβος από τον δρόμο και σειρηνες. Στο διπλανό στενό πολλοί άστεγοι και χρήστες ουσιών, που όμως δεν χρειαζόταν να περάσεις από μπροστά για να πας στο μετρό

המקום קצת בעייתי צמוד לרחובות שלא נעימים בלילה. מצד שני קרוב מאד לככר אומיליה 4 דקות הליכה.

不满意的不是酒店能改进的，是雅典社会的问题。对面的街上吸毒的人夜宿街头，警察每天在这条街上来回溜达，安全倒是没有什么问题，只是社会毒瘤罢了

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Все було відмінно. Ми лише одну ніч провели в готелі після літака, але то було комфортно. Готель в 20хв пішки від автобусу, що їде з аеропорту. Коли ви прилітають вночі - це дуже зручно. У нас був номер на трьох - це дві кімнати, душ та туалет, два кондиціонери, вані приналежності, вола, холодильник . Дякую персоналу за гостинність )))

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026We stayed at Minoa Athens as a family and it was very welcoming. The lobby is well designed and looks great. The receptionists were extremely helpful and such great people. We absolutely loved our room because we had a balcony overlooking the Acropolis! The room was cleaned daily, which was really nice. We had a mini fridge in the room and an air conditioner available to keep us cool. It is also very close to the location of the hop on hop off buses, making it super easy to get around. We really enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Tra le cose veramente eccezionali, la gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff, la posizione vicinissima alla stazione Metro di Metaxurgheio, e il bar, ben fornito e sempre aperto per qualunque esigenza. Le stanze sono carine, e ben pulite. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo.
Una via vicino all'hotel costituisce ambiente poco adatto alle famiglie e al transito notturno, anche se è spesso presidiata dalla polizia. Il bagno è un po' piccolo.

We are 3 person in tge reservation and inthe 1st day we jave only 2 pairs or towels. Only thing i observe is there is no charging point or socket nearby the bed . Its so difficult to charge our phones because of this.. Auggestion better put charging point or socket nearby the beds to charge the gadgets of the tourists that stayed at the hotel . But nothing more to complain from other things

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Wenige Gehminuten von Metro und Bushaltestelle entfernt. Sehr freundliches Personal - beim Empfang wurde uns sofort Wasser ungefragt gegeben, weil es ziemlich heiß war. Schönes, großes Zimmer, das Bad klein, aber sauber.
Die Gegend um das Hotel ist ziemlich heruntergekommen - Gasse mit Obdachlosen ums Eck und viel befahrene Straße vorm Hotel.
