The check in to the hotel is down by the entrance and shops, then we were led up to our room halfway up to the Abby. There was no a/c in the room but we expected that. There was a fan. We asked for that. The room was clean.

Considering that the window to our room was along a walking path and easy to climb into, we weren't comfortable leaving it open for air and we needed to leave it open because the room was quite warm. Also there's a good chance bats might fly in. Although we felt safe enough, it is still a tourist destination and bustling with strangers, even late at night, people were walking around.

Poder visitar mont saint Michel vacío y poder perdernos por sus calles sin nadie. El hotel es muy caro para como es el hotel que al final no deja de ser un hotel de 3 estrellas, pero la experiencia es inolvidable y merece totalmente la pena.

Nada. Las valoraciones no hacen justicia al hotel, porque una cosa es el hotel en si y otra es poder visitarlo vacío que es un privilegio.

It needs to be mentioned, that the reception 6 relativ close to the shuttle bus az the upper foor. But to get to your room it is a horrible way over many stairs. I am quite fit, but I was really at the end of my strength. There is no help for the luggage.

It was convenient to the Abbey

Soggiornare in una struttura all' interno del Mont è il vero surplus perché permette di girare in un posto unico al mondo la sera tardi e la mattina presto senza l'invasione di un' orda di turisti.Avevamo una camera fuori dalla struttura principale dell'hotel raggiungibile attraverso parecchie scale. Quindi, seguite il consiglio dell'albergo, e portate solo un piccolo zaino con il necessario per una notte. Purtroppo la nostra camera, anche abbastanza comoda e spaziosa, aveva la finestra che dava su una strada di passaggio, per cui la notte dovendola tenere chiusa per sicurezza, abbiamo sofferto maledettamente il caldo., non essendoci ovviamente aria condizionata, ma solo un raffreddatore che purtroppo poteva fare ben poco, considerando le temperature. In periodi dell' anno non così caldi, questo non costituirebbe un problema. Il mio consiglio è quindi d'estate di chiedere una camera non al piano terra, in modo che aprendo la finestra possa entrare l'aria fresca esterna.

Il costo della colazione a 19 € è eccessivo per scelta e qualità di cibo e bevande. Il mi consiglio è di farla in uno dei tanti bar che trovate all interno dell'isolotto

- Posizione ottima se si vuole vivere l'esperienza di una notte "dentro le mura" e visitare il borgo fuori dagli orari di punta. La nostra camera era al piano terra, affacciata su una via secondaria ma caratteristica e non troppo affollata (ricordatevi che si tratta di un Hotel "diffuso" e per le caratteristiche intrinseche al luogo vi consiglio di viaggiare con un bagaglio leggero, ideale uno zaino con l'indispensabile per la notte). - Parcheggio riservato per gli utenti delle strutture dentro le mura, ad alto costo come tutti gli altri, ma con disponibilità di posti senza prenotazione. l'Hotel ha fornito indicazioni dettagliate sulla modalità di accesso.

- Premesso che non si può pretendere una struttura moderna e con tutti i comfort per l'edilizia dell'isola, la camera quadrupla era veramente piccola e poco illuminata. Pulizia molto migliorabile. - Prezzo veramente elevato per il servizio offerto (vale solo per la location).

Colazione ottima e abbondante (per 19 euro a testa). Struttura sulla via principale. Simpatico il passaggio privato di accesso diretto sulle mura. Piccolo giardino chiuso attiguo alla sala colazione.

Purtroppo le finestre dando sulle mura non permettevano di avere privacy se tenute aperte. Inoltre fino a sera entrava odore proveniente dalla cucina. Camera veramente piccola, calda, dotata di un ventilatore rumoroso. Per il prezzo pagato almeno l aria!!!

An der Unterkunft war alles in Ordnung nur leider hatten wir eine sehr unschöne Erfahrung im hauseigenen Restaurant mit (der Chefin?) Christine: Wir hatten im Restaurant einen Tisch reserviert und zu dritt gegessen und mehrere Gläser Wein getrunken. Unabhängig davon, dass das rosa bestellte Lamm durch gebraten war und die Situation im Restaurant sehr hektisch war (man versuchte wirklich schnellstmöglich jeden freien Tisch sofort wieder zu besetzen und man merkte dass die Kellner unter starkem Druck standen )wurde meiner Frau ein halbvolles Weinglas vom Tisch geräumt, während wir noch am Tisch saßen.Danach wurden wir von Christine aufgefordert zu gehen weil wir eine Runde Karten gespielt haben obwohl wir noch ein Dessert essen wollten. Das ging ihr aber nicht schnell genug…. Das am Nachbartisch andere Gäste ihr eigenes Wasser/ eigene Getränke mitbrachten, um sie dann unter dem Tisch wieder verschwinden zu lassen, störte anscheinend nicht. Unfassbar unprofessionelles Verhalten und ein wirklicher Wermutstropfen.

La camera che abbiamo ricevuto era in una dépendance meravigliosa nella parte alta del villaggio. Le scale le abbiamo fatte volentieri. Siamo inoltre state accompagnate da una ragazza della reception gentilissima. Aperta la porta, abbiamo scoperto una camera dall'ambiente antico, con i resti di un caminetto, i serramenti in vetro antico e legno. Un sogno anche la vista sui tetti. Check-in e check-out sono stati veloci e di grande gentilezza. Anche la signora che ci ha accolto per la colazione era davvero squisita e la colazione era abbondante, ricca e con molta scelta. Mi ha fatto venire voglia di tornare in stagione bassa e godersi le giornate diversamente, con meno urla di visitatori nell'abbazia e per le strade. In una camera così, sarebbe un sogno.

L'unica cosa che non ci è piaciuta molto è stato il ristorante della sera. Il caposala aveva sicuramente troppa gente e malgrado avessimo prenotato nella saletta ristorante, siamo state accomodate nel bistrò, che quella sera era affollato, con molte correnti d'aria e rumoroso. Quando abbiamo provato a far notare che ci era stato dedicato un tavolo nell'altra sala siamo state rimbrottate. Non abbiamo insistito perché eravamo anche un po' in anticipo e la gente era così tanta che non ci pareva il caso. La nostra ordinazione infine è stata dimenticata. Quindi, una serata sfortunata. Con tutto il caos del Monte in pieno agosto, sono cose che accadono facilmente. Il pasto era buono. In un momento dell'anno diverso penso non sarebbe accaduto. Perciò, ho deciso di dare il punteggio pieno ugualmente.

La estadía en Saint Pierre fue lo que esperábamos. La habitación cómoda, así como las camas , el baño muy limpio . El lugar es mágico . Obviamente esperamos volver. Desayunamos en el hotel, fue muy completo y todo estaba muy rico.

本館はグランド・リュに面しており、立地は最高です。但しトリプルを希望したためか、私たちが泊まったのは本館からかなり離れたアネックスで、グランド・リュからはそれたところにありましたが、修道院の真下にある古い建物の一角で、ここはここで風情がありました。 フロントスタッフは大変フレンドリー、朝食も美味しかったです。本館にある朝食会場からは直接外壁に出ることもできます。島内に泊まるのであればおすすめです。

部屋が少し狭かったのと、エアコンがなかったこと。扇風機がありましたが、真夏だったのでやはり少し暑かった。パリに比べたらだいぶ涼しくはあるのですが。 あとは、アネックスの部屋になる場合、本館まで遠いので、特にグランド・リュが混む時間帯に行ったりきたりするのは面倒だと思います。

Une expérience recommandée pour séjourner en plein cœur du Mont Saint Michel et découvrir la cité avant l'arrivée des externes. Les chambres sont petites mais très bien agencées. Le personnel est très accueillant. Lieu idéal pour une nuitée dans cette magnifique cité médiévale.

Habitación ideal para disfrutar del mont Saint Michel en familia. Recomendable al 100% pasar al menos una noche para tener una experiencia completa.

We were in a room beside the graveyard not the main hotel. It was nice to be in the centre but on a quieter street. Beds were very comfy. Wifi worked well. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Overall we had a great stay.

La chambre était assez bien aménagée

La distance de marche entre l’Auberge et la chambre, nous avions à suivre la réceptionniste qui marchait trop vite dans une foule très dense et de nombreuses marches à monter pour atteindre la chambre. Aussi nous avions demandé un ventilateur pour la chambre, que nous n’avons pas obtenu malgré la canicule, il faisait 35 degrés dans la chambre, nous avons donc été incapable de dormir.

Non c’era l’aria condizionata non c’era il frigo. I letti erano singoli avvicinati la stanza era caldissima e per giunta con i piumoni sul letto siamo in agosto.

I had several recommendations to stay on the mont itself, but it was difficult to find a well-rated hotel. I was very happy with my choice to stay here. The hotel itself is an older building, and you have to be prepared to carry your bags up several flights of stairs, one flight to get to the reception and then at least one more flight to get to the rooms themselves. The hotel room was small and a bit awkwardly shaped. There was a lot of extra furniture in there, large night tables and dressers that weren't needed, but made it a little bit difficult to maneuver around the room. But the room was comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. One thing to note is that the hotel is in a great location with special access to the ramparts themselves. That means that you can walk right out of your hotel room and go through a special door to get right onto the ramparts, instead of having to go all the way down to street level and then taking stairs up. However, the downside is that because you are so close, your windows look directly out onto the ramparts, and unless you keep the drapes closed, people can see in. I thought the trade-off was worth it, but it did take a little bit of getting used to. The hotel is right off of the main Grande Rue, just a few minutes walk inside the gate. Wi-Fi in the hotel is spotty, likely because of the construction of the buildings. There are downsides to staying at the Mont. It's incredibly busy in the day, and it can feel very crowded. But it is really worth it in my opinion to be able to go out onto the ramparts or in the city in the late evening, or better yet, first thing in the morning with first light. There is almost no one else there, and you feel like you have the whole island to yourselves as you watch an incredible sunrise.

Charming, well-maintained hotel with lots of character and friendly, professional staff. We stayed in the annex, even closer to the top of the hill. The room was spacious and tidy, offering some view of the mainland. Nice details from the past have been kept. We appreciated the breakfast. A general comment for the elderly or people with disabilities: the whole island is a challenge if you are not fully mobile. This goes for the Auberge, too, with narrow stairs reflecting the age of the structure.

Enchanting stone room, amazing location right in Mont Saint Michel

The hotel actually has 4 buildings in Mont-Saint-Michel, so maybe the others are different. Ours was a very nicely renovated old building with only a few rooms. The bed is comfy, the bathroom is surprisingly modern, and you could see a small slice of the sea from the bedroom window. We played Romeo and Juliet, and it was the perfect stage for it. As our room was inside the walls, it's only a few minutes' walk from literally everywhere: the abbey, the sea, and every restaurant and store in between. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the local cheese collection and the bread selection.

I had no real problems, but maybe add some tomatoes to the breakfast table...?

Nos anotamos para el desayuno y mis hijas fueron en la mañana, se sentaron abajo en unas mesas y vino una señora y las trató mal, hasta que les avisaron que estaban anotadas para desayunar y ahí cambió, el desayuno era en el piso de arriba, igualmente creo que tendrían que tener un trato amable con los visitantes. También nos tocó una habitación subiendo muchas escaleras, ir preparados!

Le petit déjeuner est très bien et complet. Les personnels sont aimables et font le nécessaire pour que tout se passe au mieux.

La chambre était dans une annexe assez "loin ",et d'accès assez laborieux. Il serait bien de prévenir se la distance car il était uniquement précisé : prendre un petit bagage, les chambres sont accessibles uniquement par des marches .

La struttura, come al solito, si approfitta della situazione: pur chiedendo cifre da capogiro per un alloggio piuttosto mediocre, offre un servizio scarso e completamente privo di rispetto nei confronti dei viaggiatori. Oltre a questo, conferma una prenotazione per una stanza che, al momento dell'arrivo, non viene nemmeno assegnata. Quando si fa presente il problema, invece di trovare una soluzione adeguata, propone altre sistemazioni chiedendo addirittura un sovrapprezzo, senza neppure mostrare la camera che era stata scelta e prenotata. Un comportamento davvero vergognoso e inaccettabile. Non consiglio questa struttura.

The experience as a whole of being on the island, after the larger groups of people left, seeing the abbey and village and knowing we would be able wake up to the sights and sounds of Mont St. Michel. A precious, once in a lifetime experience.

The heat with no fan to move the air around, although I know the extreme heat is not the norm

In 30 degree weather the hotel had no fans. The key card didn’t work. Even thought I booked with the main hotel, I was sent to a room that was up a ton of stairs that I had to carry luggage up and down. My 76 year old mother could not make it up the stairs and there was no alternative.

Don't stay on Mont Saint-Michel if you want a good night's sleep. The hotel staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable, so I have no complaints about the accommodation itself. The problem was the noise. As the hotel is on the main street, visitors were outside until nearly midnight. After that, hotel staff stood outside talking until around 3:00 a.m., and from 5:00 a.m. the bin collections and restaurant deliveries started. The restaurant is owned by the hotel, and the image was taken at 05:30 with their staff talking and banging around outside. Sleep was almost impossible. Given the premium price of staying on the Mont, it was a very disappointing experience. My advice is to stay on the mainland, visit the Mont for dinner, then return to your hotel for a peaceful night's sleep and visit the abbey in the morning, You'll enjoy the experience far more.

Unser Zimmer war in einem Nebengebäude, zu dem man über einige Aufstiege und Treppen gelangt. Das wussten wir aber schon vorher, daher war es kein Problem. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und zu empfehlen und auch das ganze Personal ist sehr nett und hilfreich, obwohl so viel zu tun ist 🫶Am Tage ist der Mont überfüllt mit Touristen (wir waren im Juli dort), man kommt kaum voran und die Hitze tut noch das Übrige. Erst gegen 18 Uhr wird es erträglich und leerer und die Schönheit des Ortes entfaltet sich dann erst richtig.

Das Zimmer selbst war geräumig, hatte jedoch einen muffigen Geruch. Ob dies vom alten Holz oder Feuchtigkeit kommt, weiß ich nicht, für eine Nacht war es ok für uns.

Our room wasn’t in the hotel. It was an eight minute walk with 5 sets of stairs to get to our room, which was not good. The open windows were the only thing providing any sort of relief to the heat, and people could basically look into our rooms when going down the alley. The room was small and cramped, and in a busy area which was loud throughout the whole night. It was well located related to the Alley, yet very hard to get to for aomwone with any sort of disability.

The historic charm was lovely. The water pressure in the shower was great - always important to me! Location was very to include a few seagulls that were “talkative” - but fun to watch them on the rooftops. Comfortable beds - nice to have a mini fridge too.

We would have loved a larger floor fan rather than the one very small fan provided. We weren’t hot but a larger fan in each room would be a nice addition.

The room was ok. Very basic, but that's what I was expecting. The location was great, particularly in the morning and evenings. In a place this popular, it's great to have some time without the crowds. The staff was very friendly.

The WiFi was horrible. Bandwidth was very low, and the connection unstable, and unfortunately, I needed it for work. Breakfast was just ok...

There is no mention of them putting you in what they call “the annex“ and it is up a huge series of steps and located far away from the hotel. There was no consideration if you have mobility issues they just arbitrarily put you in basically a different location and I was extremely displeased by that.

Для свита хотелось бы доп опцию в виде тапочек и халата. И лично для меня, чистота пола была ниже среднего.

Comfortable and clean room. Sara and Elora at check-in were very pleasant and competent.

Due to the heat, we had to leave the windows open. and the gulls were quite annoying! We ate in the hotel restaurant. They are EXTREMELY under staffed, and the waitress was phenomenal. The food was average.

The location is amazing as well as the staff. Highly recommend staying the night on Mont St Michel. You can’t beat walking around when everyone else has left for the night. You watch the tide come and go and it lights up at night. One of the highlights of our trip.

It’s a bit misleading that you may get a room not located in the actual hotel. They have rooms located elsewhere they will walk you to. It’s not far but up some stairs and we thought we had booked in the main hotel. Not a huge deal but read the fine print. We missed that little detail. Also be aware no air conditioning.

The location is excellent for exploring early in the morning and late in the afternoon, avoiding the crowds of tourists.

The rooms do not have fans. The restaurant manager was very aggressive and discourteous when we requested a table reservation, even seeming threatening.

Das Fenster kann man nicht weit offen lassen, da direkt Menschen daran vorbei gehen und ins Zimmer sehen. Der Ausblick geht zum einem Weg. Das Zimmer liegt nicht im Haupthaus, sondern separat.

Me parece lamentable que con lo carisimo que es, no tenga ni un triste ventilador en la habitación. Ha sido horrible, en previsión de la ola de calor que estamos viviendo, podían tener el detalle de ponerlo, en otros hoteles de la zona que nos estamos alojando, lo están haciendo. Está sobre valorado, no tiene nada para valer el precio que he pagado. Muchas escaleras. En fin, no lo recomiendo.

Great location, nice tavern style restaurant. Staff accommodated us by holding our luggage after check out so we could tour a bit longer through the day.

Rooms could use a little updating and I’ve found that most places around France have small, flat pillows and just a duvet. I need plush bedding to get a good nights sleep.

Also the breakfast buffet was not so good as many people must have eaten before us and they did not restock some of the food.

It was a quiet location.

I was not aware that we would stay in an annex quite a few steps up away from the actual hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to seniors. The hike with the luggage was a bit challenging for us.

La chambre est confortable et quel plaisir de pouvoir déambuler dans les rues au coucher du soleil.

J'ai été surprise que la chambre ne soit pas dans l'enceinte de l'hôtel mais au cœur du village.

The location is so unique, exploring the mont at night was amazing, watching the tide come in and out, winding through the alleys and passages was so fun. The room was big enough for all 4 of us with room for luggage and we had two windows.

For those of us used to AC, there is no AC. It was warm and sticky. We left the windows open to create a cross breeze which worked well. Meal options were limited and pricey: dinner and breakfast at the hotel were ok....not bad, but not our best meal in France. The magic of the stay is the roaming the streets, the Abbey and watching the birds and the sea.

Nice place to stay on the island

Mont St Michel is so magical but even more magical at night and early morning when you have so much of the place to yourself.

The reservations. Could not get into the Abbey as had no reservations and no hopes of getting any reservations. Very disappointing.

Täällä pääsi vanhan ajan tunnelmaan, historian voi aistia. Sekä hotelli että koko ympäristö olivat ainutlaatuisia. Huone ja kylpyhuone olivat miellyttävät ja puhtaat. Aamiainen oli riittävä, joskin kasviksia olisi voinut olla myös tarjolla.
