La Mère Poulard

La struttura ha una posizione eccellente ma tutto il resto pari a zero. Arrivati in camera, non abbiamo trovato neppure una bottiglietta di acqua, stanza sporca e per continuare abbiamo trovato le lenzuola sporche e insetti in camera. Colazione con servizio pessimo. Successivamente ho provato a contattare la struttura per spiegare il tutto evitando di pubblicare una recensione così negativa ma non mi sono stati di aiuto.

The room was a bit run down and in need of repairs in some areas.

Das Frühstück war leider oft bereits nach 8:30 Uhr „ausgeschossen“, obwohl es noch bis 10:00 Uhr offen ist/sein sollte. Die Teppiche im Zimmer sind gewöhnungsbedürftig.

The location was superb and the room was exceptional we had a great stay. No need for an alarm clock - the helicopters reliving food circa 8.00am were a real treat!

Formidable de pouvoir dormir dans un bâtiment sur le Mont. La nuit est calme, un tel contraste avec la journée. Le matin, cela s'agite. L'hôtel est très bien placé, le petit déjeuner est génial, dans une salle agréable avec vue sur l'entrée du Mont.

Rien, tout était parfait. Tarif un peu cher mais bon c'est une expérience à vivre.

Superbe vue sur la baie! Très bien situé. Grande chambre confortable (seul petit bémol un peu vieillissante), la machine à café a été très appréciée. Très bon diner (fameuse omelette) et très bon petit déjeuner (petit bémol pour le jus d'orange industriel). Séjour magique!

The room was ok at best. The floor coverings were stained and dirty. Missing tile grout in the bathroom with broken and loose tiles. Moldy caulk in the shower.

The location is what you are paying for. Very well located and the views were beautiful. The communication was good and having someone available on WhatsApp made things easy to coordinate. The staff helped get us into a restaurant that night because we didn’t have a reservation - which I really appreciated.

The property is pretty worn down and you are paying a big premium for only the location. For the price of the stay, I expected better accommodations. The bed was very hard, pillows were ok, the room was all pretty basic. Breakfast was buffet and pretty standard, nothing exceptional. Didn’t have a chance to dine at the restaurant because they were full

La chambre était un peu "vieillotte" avec juste ce qu'il faut de confort.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Der Frühstücksraum war sehr schön. Das Zimmer sauber und das Bett bequem. Wir hatten einen schönen Blick auf die Bucht.

Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen. Die Flure waren nicht sauber und es hat unangenehm gerochen. Wir haben viel Geld ausgegeben für den Blick auf die Bucht. Dafür war es schon früh am Morgen sehr laut, da die Waren für die Geschäfte angeliefert wurden.

La posizione e la vista sono eccezionali.

Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è pessimo. Ho alloggiato nella struttura principale; dopo il checkin in un edificio adiacente, mi hanno dato una camera al 4° piano senza ascensore e la chiave elettronica non funzionava - considerato che nessuno rispondeva al telefono alla reception sono dovuto riscendere per sistemare la cosa. La camera era piccola, scomoda con la moquette sporca. Il letto tutto sommato era comodo. Il bagno minuscolo, scomodissimo, di sicuro risalente ai tempi quando i frati ancora abitavano l'abbazia! Visitare il villaggio di sera ha un fascino unico, ma non vale assolutamente la pena spendere una cifra sproporzionata per dormirci quando ci sono dei comodi bus che fanno a/r ogni 12 minuti fino alle ore 01:00.

The location is convenient

My room 103 smelt of damp and I woke up feeling congested, the room wasn’t well maintained.the bed was very short, I’m 188cm and my feet were hanging over the edge. I wanted to have a bath but there was no plug. The reception found one for me but it didn’t work so no bath. Cornices in the room were broken and the room felt forgotten about, visible marks on the walls where attachments once were. I get it’s a tourist area but a little bit of care for the price would be expected.

La posizione dell'hotel è ottima perché si trova subito all'interno delle mura di Mont Saint Michel, con la vista sul fenomeno delle maree. Purtroppo però la costruzione della passerella di accesso al monte permette l'accesso anche la notte, quindi c'é parecchio rumore. Indimenticabile l'omelette de la Mère Poulard, servita nel ristorante dell'hotel, aperto anche agli esterni !!!!

Per effettuare il check-in bisogna recarsi presso un'altra struttura ubicata qualche decina di metri avanti. Questo significa che in hotel non esiste una reception con personale addetto. L'accesso alle camere è una scala piuttosto stretta che costeggia locali di servizio tenuti in disordine. Le camere sono piccole e giustamente poco accessoriate trattandosi di un 3 stelle. Il prezzo però non è quello di un hotel di simile categoria.

Le petit dejeuner style buffet avec 3 sorte de fromage, du pain, et un distributeur de boisson… non mais serieux on est a la mere poulard mettez une omelette (je parle pas des oeufs brouiller), ou un gateau de votre biscuiterie a la limite pour donner envie d’acheter des gateau après. Franchement oui c’est sympa de dormir sur l’île et de sortir la nuit mais vraiment plus jamais installer vous pour moins cher en dehors du mont saint michel et vous avez des navettes gratuites qui passe toutes les 5 min

Il sistema di reception confuso e faticoso. Le dimensioni, i rivestimenti, gli arredi, le forniture della stanza e del bagno: tutto obsoleto e molto trascurato. La colazione di qualità pessima e presentata molto male.

Vista mozzafiato sulla baia. Posizione perfetta per godersi davvero Moint Saint Míchel.

La qualité perçu n’est pas bonne, le mobilier et la peinture sont abîmé carrelage cassé dans la salle de bain… on recherche le côté typique du Mont saint michel, mais à ce prix là on s’attendait à la qualité de la chambre, ce n’est pas la cas.

I liked the location and the availability of the staff via phone.

It was marketed as high end but it was more on the lower end. I didn’t like that it seemed like the property was on the higher ground but it was actually on the ground. The rooms looked much better in the photos. The room was small and not the right type of modern. I felt deceived that the reception was somewhere else, the one key only made it inconvenient for the two of us. The restaurant was ok, but there was only one person working really hard to help everyone. There were no tables set when we came in, no glasses, no dishes for us to serve ourselves.

Staying in such an iconic location was absolutely incredible. We loved the views from the room. It was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also great.

We didn’t receive a parking access code, so spent some time trying to figure out how to get in, but otherwise it was a good experience.

De kamer algemeen was niet in verhouding met de prijs welke men hiervoor betaald. Zo zijn er zaken stuk welke niet hersteld worden (bv. douche scherm) maar ook een opgehangen haardroker welke zichtbaar gesmolten is. Bijkomend was het bed erg hard.

L acceuil, la sympathie de l hotesse ,qui nous a gentillement gardé nos surplus de bagages , nous evitant de nous fatiguer pour grimper les marches de l accés a notre chambre. ( 4eme etage a l hermitage). Le confort et la propreté de la chambre.

Professionnel, à l'écoute et de très bons conseils, l'accueil par Paul, notre hôte et chauffeur, à été exceptionnel. L'équipe de la réception a elle aussi été remarquable. Merci à Paul et à l'équipe.

Il faut bien reconnaître que l’emplacement est parfait, avec une vue imbattable sur la baie du Mont-Saint-Michel. Et c’est le seul vrai point positif de cette chambre.

Le standing de la chambre est clairement scandaleux pour le prix. Les locaux sont vétustes, poussiéreux et donnent l’impression de ne pas avoir été rénovés depuis plus de 50 ans. La chambre était correcte si elle avait coûté trois fois moins cher. Les papiers peints se décollent et la décoration est très sommaire. Le ménage est limite, en témoignent les traces de gras sur les chaises de la chambre et les crottes de mouches sur les abat-jours de TOUS les luminaires. Globalement la chambre me fait penser à un hôtel d'autoroute. De même, le petit-déjeuner se prend au-dessus du restaurant de La Mère Poulard. La salle est dans son jus, avec notamment des taches de nourriture sur les murs. Petite pensée pour les deux pauvres serveuses présentes pour plus de 50 personnes dans la salle. On sent qu’un grand groupe a le monopole des hôtels et qu’il ne fait, de manière générale, aucun effort. C'est juste une énorme machine a fric.

Nous avons été accueillie par une jeune femme prénommée Leila adorable et très professionnelle. Une personne remarquable d’amabilité et d’attention. Elle a accepté de nous changer de chambre pour nous rapprocher de nos enfants dans la maison rouge. La chambre était charmante et romantique dans la maison rouge, la vue, l’authenticité des lieux. Le lit confortable et la salle de bain très bien. rien à changer !

le pain au petit déjeuner : - plus de choix pour le pain et moins de viennoiserie industrielle. - des oranges fraiches que l'on pourrait presser soi-même ! - un meilleur thé : earl grey si possible

On etait dans le mont saint Michel donc sympa

Mais au rdc donc aucune vue possible… on croyait avoir reservé a l’auberge de la mère poulard mais on etait dans un autre immeuble du groupe … et on ne pouvait pas ouvrir les fenêtres car cela sentait très fort l’urine de chat! De plus toutes les personnes qui passaient avaient pleine vue sur la chambre… dommage

Устаревшие номера, требующие ремонта. Конечно же - кондиционер отсутствует. Окно лучше не открывать - шум и запах от расположенного внизу ресторана, да и с 5 утра на остров привозят продукты и тд… отель у самых ворот- громкость зашкаливает. Завтрак на 3 бала… мест не хватало всем гостям. Будте готовы носить свои чемоданы сами по узким лестницам - это не для слабых духом. ( мы взяли с собой самое необходимое на 1 ночь, а чемоданы оставили в машине на парковке).

I servizi mancanti, in rapporto al prezzo.

Soggiornare direttamente sul Mont-Saint-Michel permette di vivere un’esperienza particolare e di godere appieno dell’atmosfera del luogo. La posizione è sicuramente uno dei punti di forza della struttura, così come la disponibilità e la cortesia dello staff, che hanno contribuito positivamente al soggiorno. I servizi e il livello di pulizia, invece, sono risultati nella media e potrebbero essere migliorati per rendere l’esperienza più soddisfacente. Esperienza nel complesso discreta, con alcuni aspetti positivi ma anche margini di miglioramento.

L’aspetto che ho trovato meno convincente è il rapporto qualità/prezzo: considerando il costo sostenuto, mi sarei aspettato un livello complessivo superiore, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i servizi e la qualità della struttura.

Esperienza splendida e indimenticabile. L'albergo è situato all'ingresso del paesino. Dalla finestra della camera la vista era unica. Una coccola.

Dormire sul Mont è favoloso, la struttura, noi eravamo all'ermitage, è un pò vecchiotta ma c'era da aspettarselo visto il contesto. Il prezzo è un pò esagerato. Ci sono un pò di scalini sia per arrivare all'ingresso che per salire in camera. Ci stà. La colazione che si fa presso il ristorante della mere poulard è buona e abbondante. Ottimo il wifi. La macchina si lascia al parcheggio della Caserne, entrando al gate con un codice che ti invia la struttura.

Posizione, storia e luogo prestigioso. Siamo riusciti anche a cenare al loro ristorante e abbiamo degustato la famosa omelette. Un ringraziamento particolare alla responsabile di sala. Gestione parcheggio super comprensibile e di facile accesso. Da provare una volta nella vita: non regalato, ma di certo un posto in cui non si rimane delusi

The owner should be locked up. Its a travesty and a disgrace how mismanaged this place is. Corridor floor of greasy, stained and very dirty rubber-like surface. Red carpets that werent washed since Margaret Thatcher visited the premise. Birds flying through restaurants area and perching on tables. Every possible surface either cracked, sticky or otherwose disgusting. Lame excuses. Its dilapitaded not "rustic" or "historical". The inside of the room is the problem and its well within your power to fix it. Rooms are equipped with random bits of 40yrs old furniture, bathroom has mold and non working ventilation - theres a vent and even a plastic cap that should have a working fan... (booking allows only 4 pictures and i have more... much more). For 400eur per night, one handyman with modest ikea budget could fix the floors, doors and equip the rooms with sane furniture. Jesus. F. Christ. How can you abuse and exploit this wonderful location.

It was in a great location

Accepting there was no aircon and it was during the heatwave but the path in front of the hotel, which could have been secured, was not so we could not even open the window to cool down. No basics in the room such as milk for coffee.

The location is fantastic! Check in was easy (fill in the forms ahead of time, especially if driving, and you won't have any problems) and the front desk is friendly and helpful. We had a great view from our room and were pleasantly surprised to find it had a bath (always a plus in our opinion)! Breakfast was entertaining(!) - so long as you're prepared for some shortcomings there (read the reviews), it's all perfectly fine. Really, this hotel is about the location and experiencing Mont St Michel at night. Don't expect miracles or the red carpet, and you should enjoy your stay here :)

Ok, the price is crazy. Even booked well ahead, it's still much more than I'd usually pay and you're not getting anything extra in particular for the money. But really, this is an experience and you're paying for the privilege to stay on the Mount. Breakfast is quite an experience in itself - there are far too few staff, who, given the circumstances can only be described as heroic! I witnessed a disgruntled man being so rude and agressive to the waitress that I'm amazed she kept her calm (and he should be ashamed of himself). The food was passable - nothing special, but welcome none-the-less.
