Tur att min man kunde franska, annars svårt att kommunicera när vi checkade ut. Inga problem vid incheckning. Trädgården hade behövt lite mer kärlek, den kunde bli hur fin som helst med lite arbete.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Die Lage ist perfekt, in einer Nebenstraße direkt an der Stadtmauer gelegen, nur wenige Gehminuten zur Altstadt. Sehr nette Empfangsdame, welche uns alle wichtigen Information mitgeteilt hat. Für uns ein wichtiges Detail: Hundefreundlich. Das Frühstück war schön angerichtet und ausreichend, im Hinterhof gelegenen Garten. Absolut empfehlenswert um Avignon in 1-2 Tagen zu erkunden.

The room had no proper lighting apart from a plug-in table lamp. The lamp had to be unplugged whenever I needed to use the socket to charge my phone, leaving the room without adequate lighting. The shower also did not get hot, and the shower head could not be adjusted because it would simply fall off the wall. In addition, the room had a strong smell of damp, which made the stay very unpleasant. I do not believe this room should be let out to guests in this condition. These are basic facilities that should be working properly.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Anbau im Garten des Hotels. Dort war es sehr ruhig und angenehm temperiert, mit Sitzgelegenheit direkt vor dem Zimmer. Das Hotel bietet ein sehr gutes Frühstück. Bemerkenswert war aber vor allem die Aufmerksamkeit und HIlfsbereitschaft des Personals. Vom Hotel ist man zu Fuss in 10min in die Innenstadt gelaufen.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Vam triar aquest hotel com a parada en el nostre camí des de la Selva Negra cap a Barcelona i va ser un encert. L'hotel és fàcil de trobar, es pot aparcar bé per la zona i, a més, ofereixen la possibilitat de fer servir el seu propi aparcament per només 10 €. Viatjava amb els meus dos fills de 16 i 18 anys i l'allotjament va ser ideal: ens van donar una mateixa estança dividida en dues habitacions, una d'elles amb dos llits individuals, la qual cosa ens va anar molt bé. L'habitació era senzilla però estava neta. Es tracta d'un hotel antic però molt ben cuidat i amb molt d'encant, on destaca l'amabilitat de tot el personal. El millor de tot, sense dubte, va ser l'esmorzar: un autèntic plaer en un jardí preciós ple d'arbres i amb un pou, on es respirava una calma total mentre s'acompanyava el matí amb el cant dels ocells. Una opció totalment recomanable.
Res a dir. Complia perfectament amb el que buscàvem per fer nit en ruta.

Tout était très bien sauf le petit déjeuner, limité en quantité et qualité et finalement cher pour ce que c’est.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Great location, the garden was very peaceful the staff were kind, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were cool in the very hot weather. The hotel is well located and easy walking distance to the city walls and Avignon centre.
The rooms do not have much sound insulation so you can hear your neighbours very clearly. The room we stayed in was sparse and a little tired, there was no fridge or kettle etc.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Das charmante Hotel hat einen wunderschönen Garten, in dem wir lecker frühstücken konnten und in dem sich auch unser kleiner Hund sehr wohlgefühlt hat. Das haben wir sehr genossen. Die Lage ist hervorragend, ruhig gelegen in einer Seitenstraße und doch zentral. Man ist in 5 – 10 Minuten im Stadtzentrum und kann viele der Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Das Auto konnte gratis an der Straße direkt am Hotel oder auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz ganz in der Nähe abgestellt werden. Das Hotelpersonal war stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders die Rezeptionistin, die zudem auch noch hervorragend deutsch spricht. Wir hatten eines der Gartenzimmer, die praktikabel und sauber sind. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026La prima impressione entrando è quella di cose vecchie mal messe insieme. I letti se possiamo chiamarli così, sono in realtà delle brande, con una specie di materasso sopra. Colazione essenziale. Il giardino da cui prende il nome è un ammasso di piante incolte e non pulito. Tutto l’hotel necessita di una forte manutenzione e ristrutturazion, per un buon mantenimento di pulizia.

La stanza aveva odore di chiuso, ed il bagno non era areato, la finestra si affacciava sul giardino ed era sprovvista di zanzariera, quindi la sera specialmente non si poteva aprire. La portineria non era presente dalle 19,30 alle 7,00 e quindi non si poteva avere acqua da bere o richiedere assistenza

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Emplacement idéal, au calme tout en étant très proche du centre et de la gare. Le petit déjeuner copieux, se prend dans le jardin de l’hôtel qui est très agréable. De bons conseils nous ont été donnés pour la visite d’Avignon et ses alentours. Une belle adresse.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, man ist in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss mitten in der Altstadt. Die Ruhe sowie das sehr nette Personal haben wir sehr geschätzt. Unser Hund - ein Labrador - war herzlich willkommen und fühlte sich "pudelwohl"!
Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, sehr sauber und komfortabel. In punkte Dekoration und Möblierung könnte man das Ganze sicherlich noch etwas ansprechender gestalten.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026A hotel with old time charms. The staff was professional, warm and friendly. The room was simple, but met our needs. The breakfast in the garden was a highlight for us. Excellent location for visiting the old city.
There is no lift. If there is any mobility issues, one should get one of these ground floor rooms.
