Fred Hotel Hauptbahnhof

Great location and nice facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

I didn't like the digital key, but the staff made it easy for me.

Location, cleaness

Some of the accesories in the room were broken.

Location

Room was small

Tudo perfeito. Localização melhor, impossível!

Good location, very convenient if you’re planning to travel by train. Simple but comfortable enough. I’m light sleeper but the street noise was well isolated.

No proper clothes storage. Just one open hanger with one shelf.

Beautiful comfortable room. Great location near bus and train

Quarto incrivelmente grande, confortável, banheiro super limpo.

Location was great

Good sized room which was spotlessly clean

Coffee machines weren't always working in the corridors

Fred’s was super close to the main train star which suited us for a quick overnight visit. It was clean, modern and for a small room very well laid out so we didn’t feel cramped. The staff were all very pleasant and spoke English well. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if we had the need in Zurich.

Nothing, it was great!

Fantastic location

N/A

Location was perfect and staff were awesome. Showers were great.

The noise carry’s from the hallway into our room as people are coming and going all through the night. Rooms are small and missing a much needed mini fridge for medication storage.

This hotel is in a great location very close to the train station. Even though it is on a busy street, the room was extremely quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms have air conditioning which was a blessing as it was very warm in Zurich. The breakfast is not included. It is not as elaborate as other hotels but still worth the price.

The room was on the smaller side but not bad for European standards. Everything about this hotel is done on your phone. You check yourself in on your phone and your phone becomes your room key. Staff was helpful but this may be a challenge if you are used to a desk clerk and actual room key.

Location & Comfort. Double Plus rooms are nice with air-conditioning. Staff is very helpful.

Digital door key sometimes didn't work. Breakfast can be improved

Wszystko okej Wszystko się podobalo

Location was perfect for the station, spotless and big room, comfy beds.

Nothing

Great location near the main station. Clean rooms, updated, friendly staff, easy check in - perfect for a quick trip to Zurich and especially if you have a flight to catch early in the morning.

Location, few minutes walk from train station. Bathroom was exceptional and clean and comfortable.

No tea making facilities in room but this is common in Europe so cant mark them down for this.

Great location and nice breakfast, good bed and surprisingly quiet.

Small room - poor aircon

Clean, comfortable and convenient to public transport.

Nothing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, right beside the main train station, bus station, and tram stop. Coffee and tea were available, free of charge, at the end of the corridor and in the reception area.

I had a single room.which was quite small but manageable. There was an option to choose not to have housekeeping service the room in exchange for a credit voucher at reception. I chose that option but did not receive any credit voucher.

everything! the workers and the room and the place were all amazing

nothing! maybe would have liked a wash rag for the shower

Zentrale Lage, hat alles was man braucht. Klimaanlage geht gut, ist aber etwas laut.

Alles sehr klein, Dusche hackte etwas.

Close to train station, quiet, great staff

Nothing

Perfect location - right next to the main train station in Zurich. Rooms were quiet with well sealed windows. Air conditioning during the recent heat wave was well appreciated.

Rooms were a little sterile. Add a little colour maybe? Honestly, no complaints.

Room and location

The self service coffee machine on our floor was challenging with instructions only in German. The woman on reception at the time was not interested in my problem and just stated only two of the coffee options were available. I still couldn't get the machine to work and she wasn't leaving her desk. All other staff were very helpful on a variety of questions.

Location is excellent, 5 min walk from train station and walkable to city centre also. Clean, spacious, great for a night or 2 stay.

Breakfast options were only ok but this is due to personal preference more than anything. Would have liked more options of pancakes, waffles, etc and fruit options very limited.

Lage, unkomplziert, sauber

Fehlende snack auswahl

Piscina y gimnasio

Location

Location and the staff were incredible

Nothing!

The hotel was very flexible and supportive, allowing early check in and late check out when they were able, and to store luggage while we were out. Very welcoming always with a cold beverage or snack. We in part chose the hotel due to air conditioning availability as well as ability to accommodate 3 persons (junior suite) - and on both fronts it was perfect! Location near the train station very convenient for travel (we stayed the night before and the night after travel which was perfect; if we had been staying more days to visit Zurich perhaps we would have stayed more in the historic side of town).

great location near the station, the single plus room is sufficient in size for a solo traveller. early check-in was great. the breakfast is not outstanding, but sufficient. air condition works very well during the hot summer.

No safe in the room. The key entry system is annoying, took sometimes couple of minutes to get the door opened via the phone app. the walls are very thin, I got waken up do to some other person's iphone charger making a beeping noise in the adjacent room.

The rooms and the whole hotel are pretty small, but this is the only downside. The breakfast was excellent, the location is right next to the train station and next to the tram station as well. There is a grocery store and a starbucks right next door. The rooms have an excellent AC and are pretty quiet given the location. Everything was clean and well organized. If we're in Zurich again, I'd stay here again.
