Excellent location. Very clean, friendly people!

Nice hotel run by a very friendly and helpful family. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the stay tremendously due to the friendly atmosphere, the nice pool next to a bar and the central location. We stayed in one of the apartments and it looked exactly as in the pictures. Rooms were clean and airconditioning worked very well. We'd definitely visit again.

Dopalo mi se sto cistacica dolazi svaki dan i menja peskire. Osim nedeljom kad je slobodna. Bazen je lep i ambijent oko bazena. Peskire za bazen trazite extra i vracate ih. Bazen za plivanje je dostupan od 08 do 20h Mada ga nisam koristila. Takodje u okviru bazena i bara postoji mogucnost narucivanja obroka i pica koji se dodatno placaju.

Gostoljubivost i susretljivost domacina je veoma nezadovoljavajuca. Kad smo trazili dodatne cebice tipa frotire gazdarica je rekla da nema potrebe pa smo ih kupili Kad sam trazila serpicu za supu da napravim gazdarica je rekla da kupim u obliznjem marketu ili dzambu iako je imala serpicu jer u sklopu objekta ima kuhinju. Gde god da sam bila ovakvu neljubaznost i nesusretljivost nisam dozivela. Hemije tipa gela sampona nema , Tus kabina mala i klizava. Tople vode ima sve dok ima sunca koje greje tankere za vodu tako da tusiranje u kasnim vecernjim satima ili jutarnjim satima je brrrr frizi. Od sudova sve na kasicicu jedan tiganj jedna big serpa kuvalo lonce za kafu tri kasike tri noza tri viljuske i tri solje za kafu Vise sam potrosila svog interneta nego njihov sto sam mogla da koristim. Tj nisam ga koristila uopste i uz lozinku resetovanje itd

Établissement familial très calme, bien situé pour profiter a la fois du calme et pouvoir rapidement aller à Chania en voiture. Plage juste à côté. Le personnel est très accueillant. La chambre est comme sur les photos. Propreté impeccable.

Gorgous family hotel, very well located. Very clean, they clean it every day and change your towels and sheets evry other day. Everybody is nice and helpful with everything you need. Just acros the streat there are 2 good restoranes and 2 big supermarkets. If you want to go to the city there is a bus stop next to the hotel. In a walking distance from hotel (6-15min) there are 4 beches, very beautiful. I will deffinitly come back here.

Very clean hotel , close to city bus stop .restaurants just across the road from the hotel as well as close proximity to beaches …. Super markets across the road too.

Tout !!!!!! l'hôtel familial ! La tranquillité de l’établissement la propreté !! Petit coin cuisine pratique ! Le lit hyper confortable.. beau balcon belle piscine autour d’un bar où nous avons pu profiter de divers petits repas et de bon cocktails. A 500m de magnifique plage et de bonne taverne ! Parking devant l’hôtel pas négligeable.Nous avons étaient extrêmement bien accueilli ! J’y reviendrai sans aucune hésitation.

C'était assez propre, la piscine était le point fort de l'établissement, chambre refaite, douche neuve.

Du linge sale dans les escalier, de la nourriture pour chat sur chaque palier, la patronne pas très souriante, ainsi que sa suppléante. La jeune femme de ménage très souriante. Le linge draps et serviettes changé la veille de notre départ le 4eme jour.

The hosts were incredibly warm, charming and welcoming — they truly made our stay special. The location is excellent, close to the beaches and everything you need, and the accommodation has everything for a comfortable stay.

Good location

Very helpful kind staff. Very good location. They change the towels every 2 days. Possibility to eat breakfast at the hotel (for extra cost of course). Pool in the garden (although we didnt try it). Good value for money. Our room was facing north so the temperature was very pleasant.

The cleaner lady came in even though the "do not disturb" sign was on the door. The bathroom was a bit tight. There was a contruction nearby and they usually started to work around 7am.

Pool and surrounding area very nice. Location was good. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful Lidl supermarket right next to it.

The room was quite dated and dark and could do with some updating. Bathroom was very small and no proper kitchen equipment.

Loved staying at Sun City! The staff was lovely and amazing and always made me feel welcome everyday. The pool was nice, the food and drinks were good, the room was clean and I love the vintage interior of the hotel. Would recommend!

Only thing to complain about was the shower in my room, it was a little small.

Чудове росташування, поряд кілька бухт з пляжами, ресторани, усе необхідне. Привітний персонал та гарна територія. Поряд два великі супермаркети та автобус до центру. Є паркова але вона обмежена, хоча знайти місце неподалік не проблема. Ціна повністю відповідає зручностям

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! It has such a lovely atmosphere and a really positive energy. There is a huge courtyard with a swimming pool, and right next to it you’ll find a mini bar where you can enjoy excellent Greek coffee. There are several cute beaches just a short walk away. Lidl and another supermarket are right in front of the hotel, and there are also two great restaurants across the street. :) The room was spacious and had everything we needed — air conditioning, a large terrace, and a small kitchen. Our bed was made and the dishes were washed every single day. Even though the hotel has only two floors, there is also an elevator, which is a nice bonus. The reception is open 24/7, which was especially convenient for us since we had a late flight and checked in at 3 a.m. We highly recommend this place! In my opinion, it’s one of the better accommodations I’ve stayed at in Greece for this price. We would definitely come back again!

Extremely small bathrooms

Μείναμε πραγματικά πολύ ευχαριστημένοι από τη διαμονή μας! Ένα υπέροχο οικογενειακό ξενοδοχείο, σε πολύ όμορφη τοποθεσία και με πολύ καθαρούς χώρους. Οι άνθρωποι που εργάζονται εκεί είναι υπέροχοι, πολύ φιλικοί, χαμογελαστοί και σε κάνουν να νιώθεις σαν να είσαι στο σπίτι σου, σαν μια μεγάλη οικογένεια. Η φιλοξενία ήταν εξαιρετική και όλα ήταν πραγματικά τέλεια! Ένα ξενοδοχείο που αξίζει 10/10 και το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα. Σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε! ❤️

Sun City är ett mycket hemtrevligt och prisvärt hotell i ett fantastiskt läge i Karo Daratsos utanför Chania. Det absolut bästa är den mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma personalen, som verkligen vill säkra att du får en fantastisk vistelse. Hotellet ligger mycket bra till, med flera butiker, badstränder, och massvis med restauranger på gångavstånd.

Jag tyckte verkligen om allt, men man bör vara medveten om att detta är ett lägenhetshotell av något äldre standard. Jag tyckte inte heller att den närmsta stranden (Yannis) var särskilt bra - men som tur är finns både Iguana och Glaros nära och är två fantastiska stränder (bemannade med badvakter och med flera restauranger).

Ми чудово провели час у Sun City в Като-Даратсо! Дуже приємне, затишне місце для відпочинку. Особливо сподобалося розташування — поруч море, красиві пляжі, магазини, кафе та ресторани. До Ханьї також легко дістатися. Номер був чистий, комфортний і добре обладнаний для проживання. Територія доглянута, атмосфера спокійна та дуже приємна. Окремо хочеться подякувати персоналу за привітність, доброзичливість і турботу. Завдяки цьому відчуваєш себе не просто гостем, а бажаною людиною. Sun City залишив у нас дуже теплі спогади про Крит. 🌊☀️🇬🇷 Обов’язково хотілося б повернутися сюди ще раз! Щиро рекомендуємо Sun City для приємного та спокійного відпочинку! ❤️

Ładna plaża i restauracje w pobliżu (Szczególnie polecam restauracje Angelos)

For 2 stars, hotel is ok. they tried to make it cozy and friendly. Stuff are smiley. They have 2 hypermarkets in the area and some car rental offices, plus bus station near by. It is max 10 min walking to the Iguana beach, decent. Nice, discrete pool and some green plants in the garden.

Yet, room was small, bathroom so tiny and shower was minuscule. Cleanliness not fantastic, even if maids visited the room daily. Pay attention to the type of room you book. There were differences from pictures to reality in my case.

Es war alles super! Das Hotelzimmer war genau perfekt für uns zwei. Altmodisch gestaltet, aber sehr gut gepflegt. Wir hatten eine perfekte Sicht auf den Sonnenuntergang. An der Einrichtung merkte man, wie viel Mühe sich das Hotelteam gibt. Tägliche Zimmerreinigung, sehr nettes Personal. Strand sowie Bushaltestelle befand sich in der Nähe. Der Pool war super. Das Hotel war nah einem gut besuchten Restaurant und an einer Straße, aber haben uns trotzdem sehr privat gefühlt. Zwei Supermärkte sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir wurden immer begrüßt und uns wurde immer weitergeholfen bei Fragen. Wir waren 10 Tage da und haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das Personal und der Service ist nur positiv zu bewerten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal herkommen!

I recommend this place to anyone staying in Crete. It is a few minutes away from the shuttle bus stop and Synka supermarket (local chain where you can find pretty much everything), which was great since we couldn't rent a car. Our room had plenty of space and it was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The room was cleaned regularly, which isn't something you come across everywhere, it's a big plus. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible - the staff will truly be there for anything you need at any time. Although we had our flight really late in the night, we were still warmly welcomed since their reception is open 24/7.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura a Chania per una settimana. Nel complesso l'esperienza è stata positiva. L'hotel è un po' datato, ma gli ambienti sono puliti e ben tenuti. La camera è semplice ma funzionale: dispone di un piccolo angolo cottura con due fornelli, lavabo e frigorifero. Sono presenti alcuni utensili da cucina. Abbiamo apprezzato il balconcino, dotato di tavolino e due sedie, ideale per rilassarsi. Il bagno, invece, avrebbe bisogno di essere rinnovato: è piuttosto piccolo, con un lavandino molto ridotto, una doccia scomoda con una tenda ormai datata ed è privo di bidet. Un punto a favore della struttura è la piscina, sempre a disposizione degli ospiti. Abbiamo inoltre apprezzato la possibilità di utilizzare gratuitamente ombrelloni e altri accessori da portare in spiaggia, un servizio davvero comodo. La posizione è ottima: proprio di fronte si trovano una pizzeria e un ristorantino greco, mentre a pochi passi ci sono un Lidl e un supermercato ben fornito, molto pratici per qualsiasi esigenza. Nelle vicinanze si trovano anche alcune spiagge piacevoli, facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. Come suggerimento per migliorare il soggiorno, consiglierei di attrezzare meglio l'angolo cottura, aggiungendo una caffettiera, qualche utensile in più e alcuni prodotti essenziali come olio, sale e tovaglioli. Nel complesso è una buona soluzione per chi cerca un alloggio semplice, pulito e in una posizione comoda per visitare Chania e godersi il mare.

Des fourmis trouvé dans la chambre plusieurs jours et seul un produit a été mis (qui marchait temporairement). Nous avons demandé a changé de chambre, ce qui nous a été refusé avant que le personnel nous a indique que toutes les chambres étaient prises..

Loved the location. Very near the beaches tavernas and bars etc but still so quiet at night. Super clean lovely little pool. Loads of sunbeds and seating, umbrellas etc. Great little pool bar open from early till midnight. A beautifully Greek family run hotel where you are made to feel very much one of the family. Going back very soon ! ❤️

Staff, location

Perfect location, within walking distance of lovely beaches and restaurants, as well as two large supermarkets. Also easily walkable to the bus stops to Chania. We really loved the pool and garden/bar area - it was really peaceful with lots of drinks on offer. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful and I really liked that the hotel was family run. The room was fairly basic but for the price we paid I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had to make a last minute booking after a flight cancelation. We arrived late and was welcomed and checked in quickly. The pool area was lovely, the family who run it are all so friendly and welcoming. Lovely restaurants opposite and down the road, along with stunning beach 5min walk. A great stay.

The pool area is very quite which is lovely to an extent but not so nice when the older guests keep staring over at teenagers having fun in the pool.

Air conditioning noisy and can be heard from other apartments whilst sleeping. Limited tv channels for uk. Wifi is unreliable and difficult to get a stable connection. Rooms are basic and dated.

Everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was spotless, the room was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I loved having a private balcony where I could relax and read. The location is excellent, with three beautiful beaches within walking distance, Lidl less than two minutes away, SYN.KA supermarket nearby, restaurants just across the street, and a bus stop to Chania only about 100 meters away. The best part of my stay was the staff. Gina, Maria, Iliana, and Harry made me feel like part of their family from the moment I arrived. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and Iliana even speaks Spanish. If I had known how wonderful this place was, I would have booked a much longer stay.

Honestly, nothing. Everything was excellent and exceeded my expectations.

The staff was perfect and they were there whenever we needed them. The room was very good while the hotel is very close to the beach on foot and to the city center by car or taxi.

Jedyna rzecz do jakiej można się przyczepić to brak chodników wzdłuż ulicy do plaży, trzeba iść poboczem.

Sun City is a really classy place to stay, old school decor and nothing over the top but the staff add limitless elegance and charm. If you'd like to stay in a family run spot, close to incredible beaches and restaurants, this is the place.

Sehr herzliche Umgebung und Atmosphäre

Love the location with close walking distance to 4 lovely beaches, adjacent to Lidl and close to a Greek supermarket and tavernas. The owners and staff are all v v friendly. The bed was v comfy and bonus to have a sea and sunset view from the balcony.

Everything in this hotel is excellent. Run by a wonderful family who are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Everything is spotless and well cared for. Rooms are well equipped with everything you need. Excellent

Bedkamer/douche is erg klein.

When we gor to leave after the first night - that was my favorite part.

The property is VERY old and dated. My room smelled like a nursing home. When you use the toilet you can't flush the paper after you wipe yourself - you have to throw it in the bin, and the room isn't serviced each day - so gross. The shower is SO small and has a curtain on one side that doesnt cover the opening.- It's impossible to not get water everywhere. The air-conditioning unit on the wall is tiny and can't cool rhe room properly. It's ok when you stand right in front of it, but when you laydown, even if it's pointed at the bed, it can't make the room cool. We left after our first night - and only stayed the first night because we arrived so late we couldn't find somewhere else. The management refused to refund us , and I'm working with booking.com on a resolution. It is truly an aweful property.
