Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Le bistrot de l'hotel est un excellent restaurant avec un rapport qualité prix remarquable. Bravo à l'équipe et également pour l'accueil et le service remarquables. Nous pensons que la réputation de l'hotel vient largement de ses deux restaurants. L'hotel lui même a du charme mais le rapport qualité prix n'est plus raisonnable (cf. l'autre commentaire).
La chambre proposée initialement était digne d'un motel vieillot en RDC avec entrée par le parking, pour un prix prépayé équivalent à un palace en France. Les informations des chambres sur booking sont malheureusement trompeuses. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre et nous avons accepté une petite chambre rénovée dans le style chalet qui était le style présenté par le site et par l'hotel, le genre de chambre que l'on trouve pour 30% du prix dans de nombreuses stations alpines... Donc prudence sur la réservation de la chambre.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Sehr heimelig in dem 400 Jahre alten Berner Holzhaus. Moderne zeitgemässe Zimmer mit Bad und sogar mit Klimaanlage. Personal war sehr freundlich. Gute Speisekarte mit spannenden Gerichten.
Nicht gefallen kann man nicht sagen, eher eine Tatsache. Die Zimmer sind in dem historisch alten und schönen Gebäude über 3 Stockwerke verteilt. Somit ist der Einbau einer Liftanlage unmöglich und die Zimmer werden ausschliesslich nur über die Treppe erreicht. Das kann für Personen mit Handicap oder Gehschwäche ein Problem sein.

Mało wyposażenia w pokojach hotelowych. Brakuje lodówki, czajnika i kubków w pokojach, żeby gość mógł sam zrobić sobie herbatę lub kawę w pokoju.

Da das Hotel gut ausgebucht war, ging es am Parkplatz sehr eng zu.

The breakfast included was good with lots of different options to choose. Wilderswill train station is closed by (walking distance) where you can reach Lauterbrunner ecc. The reception staff was kind and helpful:)

Enttäuschender Aufenthalt Auf Booking war nur ein Bild von einem solchen alten Zimmer zu sehen, während ansonsten fast ausschließlich die neu renovierten Zimmer gezeigt wurden. Eine Frechheit! Wir bekamen ein sehr altes, nicht renoviertes Zimmer in der obersten Etage. Badezimmer und Möbel wirkten jahrzehntealt, zudem war der muffige Geruch im Zimmer sehr unangenehm. Für den Preis definitiv nicht angemessen und eine große Enttäuschung. Insgesamt leider nicht das, was wir aufgrund der Fotos erwartet hatten.

Der Frühstücksraum war zu klein für die Vollbelegung. Auch der Parkplatz war abends zu klein für ein voll belegtes Hotel UND das Restaurant.

The hotel itself is like no other ive ever stayed in , full of charm and character steeped in history, walls covered with pictures and corridors filled with memories, felt more like a home rather than a hotel ... staff felt like family only too willing to help with ideas and advice to get the best from your time in this beautiful area of Switzerland 🇨🇭.... Arrived with few expectations and left with memories to last a lifetime.

Habe im Dez 25 reserviert. Sehr kleines Zimmer, Website vermittelt anderen Eindruck. Viele Gegenstände im Treppenhaus, zusammen mit Teppich sehr viel Staub. Für Allergiker und Asthmatiker wie mich problematisch. Personal sehr kühl; nennt mei Begtüssung Namen nicht; kein Wortwechsel bei Begegnung. Kein Dank bei Auschecken, keine Nachfrage, ob Quittung erwünscht Keine PP-Regelung-chaotisch! Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht!!!

L'accueil est très professionnel et très sympathique, dans un bon français. La propreté des lieux est remarquable. Le petit déjeuner est réellement exceptionnel avec des produits très variés, de qualité et frais Nous avons séjourné dans la suite junior (literie très confortable), très spacieuse et agrémentée d'un joli jardin très fleuri, idéal pour les moments de détente après des journées de randonnée en altitude.
