Os degraus não são adequadas a pessoas com alguma dificuldade de mobilidade e devia de haver um corrimão adjacente às escadas de acesso à piscina.

We spent 4 nights here while attending a family wedding. The property is located approximately 10 minutes drive from Vilamoura Marina (car or uber essential) . The rooms are basic but exceptionally clean and well kept. The beds are very comfortable as are the sun loungers by the pool. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and they have a nice selection of breakfast, snack and light meal options. Setting is stunning, very charming surroundings to relax. Overall, excellent value for money.

I can’t fault anything about the property itself. Pictures provided are very true to reality so it was what we expected. There are no shops or supermarkets within walking distance. However, drinks and snacks onsite are very reasonably priced. We had no car but Uber was very cheap (approximately 7 euro into Vilamoura Marina)

Firstly the friendliness of helpfulness of the staff. Secondly the breakfast was fabulous all freshly made. Rooms were very comfortable. Pool area really nice.

Casa do Alto was very comfortable, the beds were brilliant, had a great night sleep, so quiet and peaceful. The pool and sunbeds area was really nice. The breakfast was good brought to our own table terrace every morning. Location was perfect. The staff was very friendly and worked so hard. Would definitely go back.

We have just stayed here for third time in a row, and every time we leave, we're already looking forward to coming back. Their kindness, warmth, and attention to every little detail make Casa do Alto feel more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel. Breakfast is one of the highlights of every morning. Everything is incredibly fresh, delicious, and prepared with so much care that it's the perfect start to the day. And of course, we have to mention the lovely dogs, who bring so much personality and charm to the hotel. Seeing them always makes us smile. Thank you to everyone at Casa do Alto for creating such a wonderful place. It's truly a hidden gem in the Algarve, and we feel lucky to have found it. We already can't wait for our fourth visit!

Local elevado e rodeado de natureza, perfeito para descansar. Quarto muito confortável, cheiroso e impecavelmente limpo. A zona da piscina é um dos grandes destaques, tranquila e com os cães da propriedade a dar um toque especial. De manhã, com pouca gente por perto, é o sítio ideal para ler em paz. Pequeno-almoço com opções locais e à la carte. Staff super simpático.

O poliban do wc não fecha completamente, o que obriga a ter cuidado para não molhar o chão da casa de banho e da entrada.

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa y de disfrute por nuestra parte, sobre todo el trato recibido por nuestra perrita. Destacar el trato del personal, sobre todo Vania, que nos facilitó la estancia y con muy buenas recomendaciones, su Compañera, perdón por no acordarme de tu nombre, agradecer esos maravillosos cafés que nos preparabas, los mejores de Portugal. El personal de limpieza súper amable y el lugar un remanso de paz único y precioso. La habitación estupenda, sobre todo la cama y TV con apps, como Netflix. Las noches muy silenciosas y frescas. No se le puede pedir más

No poderme quedar a vivir allí

Excellant place to stay. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very peaceful and relaxing in comparison to the larger hotels. I used Uber to go the Marina in the evenings and had no issue with this. The added bonus is that its dog friendly. The breakfast was lovely and the grounds well maintained. Overall a really enjoyable stay as a solo traveller.

Está quizás un poco lejos, tienes que subir escaleras y cargar con el equipaje desde el parking, lo cual se hace incómodo, no es realmente un apartamento si no habitaciones tipo hotel de tamaño medio.

Hele mooie casa, rustige omgeving, goede service. Lekkere drankjes en hapjes voor aan het zwembad en heerlijk ontbijt, vriendelijjk personeel.

The staff were amazing...very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and well maintained, the pool sparkly and inviting. Our room was comfortable and clean, it also felt lovely and private. One morning we had a light breakfast. It was delicious and the croissants were amazing, very fresh. We were very satisfied.

Un établissement qui mérite un coup de neuf, il manque de l entretien au niveau des extérieurs, le coin piscine est vieillissant, l eau trouble, un nid de guêpes dans les parties commune et une seule machine à café disponible pour tout l hotel ! le voisinage a des chiens qui aboient toute la journée ! Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées et pas une petite table pour boire un coup dans sa chambre !

We have just checked out after the best 4 night stay! This hotels is a little hidden gem ! The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The staff and owners are all so friendly and accommodating and make a great Aperol spritz. We never had any issues getting Ubers to the marina for dinner and enjoying being away from the main town. We will be back thank you

Alles prima. Ligt wel afgelegen maar dat maakt het lekker rustig. In de Algarve heb je toch een auto nodig .

Incredibly kind staff who go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience! They were very kind and super helpful! Very nice to have a fridge in the room and a pool at the hotel - as well as communal kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Also very nice that they provided free filtered/cleaned water to guests, which saved us a lot of money from buying multiple waters from the store in the summer heat! We couldn’t find ventilation in the bathroom for when using the toilet which lead to our whole room smelling - however there are toilets outside of rooms available for everyone to use and may have just been the case that we simply just could not find the switch and there are fans/ventilation! Would definitely come back and stay again - wonderful staff and made our stay incredibly enjoyable , thank you

My husband and I were treated wonderfully by all the team in Casa do Alto. Food was delicious, the room was great and the bed actually was as comfortable as they said! I’d definitely recommend this hotel. It would make a wonderful venue for a small wedding.

Notre séjour a été absolument parfait ! Les deux hôtes sont très agréables et à l’écoute de toute demande. Les infrastructures sont superbes et le cadre est très calme et magnifique. Tout s’est très très bien passé, nous avons eu un souci de climatisation et cela a été réglé très rapidement. Nous n’avons rien à dire sur ce logement, nous recommandons vivement à quiconque souhaite du calme et la tranquillité du paysage de l’Algarve. La présence des 3 petits chiens a été plus que plaisante également.

O local era pacato, leve e bonito. O típico descanso em natureza que não podia ter sido melhor sucedido. Se procurarem uma escapadinha com alguém especial este é o lugar indicado! Fica também a 30 min da cascada do vigário, uma maravilha natural e outros locais de Vilamoura. O staff foi amigável e prestável, obrigada!

Un havre de paix à Caso Do Alto L’endroit, à la fois reculé et plein de charme, est parfait pour se reposer ! Les lieux sont très propres. La piscine est parfois un peu salie par les arbres environnants, mais elle est nettoyée chaque matin. La chambre est confortable et bien pensée, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. Les hôtes parlent anglais très facilement, avec même une pointe de français !

Petit point à savoir Attention : si vous ne réservez pas une chambre avec cuisine, vous serez un peu limités pour les repas. Les hôtes proposent une belle carte pour le petit-déjeuner et le déjeuner, mais à partir de 19h, il faut sortir pour dîner. Pas d’inquiétude cependant : de nombreux restaurants à proximité proposent de très bons plats… souvent à un prix assez bas ! Pour le reste : rien à signaler !

Dat je altijd de auto nodig had, maar hzt was daar ook zeer rustig.

Ruhige kleine Hotelanlage mit Möglichkeit zu frühstücken. Tagsüber kleine Snacks. Schöner Pool um die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Ausstattung: einfach gehalten, teilweise abgewohnt. Auto notwendig, da sehr abgelegen.

Lugar super tranquilo y acogedor. Limpieza en cada rincón del lugar. Marloes y el personal super amables y atentos. La carta del restaurante es pequeña, pero todo delicioso. Muy recomendable para descansar y desconectar. Repetiremos sin duda.

Já conhecia o espaço do ano anterior e como foi bastante agradável voltei para comprovar o agradável acolhimento de quem nos recebe todos os dias, do espaço sempre cuidado e da sua localização.

Serve como sugestão, critica construtiva, colocar uma pequena iluminação, fraca que seja na entrada junto do teclado para introduzir o código de entrada durante a noite. Facilitava bastante.

The staff were so polite and amazing and we will be back as soon as possible! The food was freshly made and healthy. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Abbiamo avuto un imprevisto con la gomma anteriore della macchina, si è tagliata sul marciapiede di ingresso. Ci saremmo aspettati un po' più di supporto dai proprietari. ( nota di merito al giardiniere che quando ci ha notati e visto il momento di difficoltà..ha provato ad aiutarci )

This is a very special place. It's in the countryside but very close to Vilamoura. It's a very calm and tranquil place. No fighting for sunbeds here. Friendly staff. Guests can buy provisions and enjoy a glass of wine by the pool. Communal areas offer a shared fridge. There are lovely apartments too. The rates for the winter are especially good

It’s quiet, have a very relaxing atmosphere.

Our room was small (we knew it on booking) the pool beds look dirty.

Points positifs : • Personnel chaleureux, accueillant et professionnel. • Chambres propres.

Points négatifs : • Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour son emplacement excentré, pensant y trouver la quiétude. Or, l’établissement accepte les animaux, et il y a également de nombreux chiens et coqs dans les alentours. • Au moindre mouvement, un chien aboie et entraîne aussitôt une « symphonie » d’aboiements. Au lever du soleil, ce sont les coqs qui assurent le réveil. • Le simple vitrage n’atténue aucunement les nuisances sonores. Il ne se passe pas une demi-heure sans bruit, j’ai même constaté un aboiement constant pendant presque une heure, alternant aboiement et cris du coq, en pleine après-midi. • L’isolation intérieure est très mauvaise : on entend distinctement les voisins, jusque dans l’utilisation de leurs toilettes et douches. Idem pour les portes, les serrures … Le repos et le calme, que nous étions venus chercher, n’étaient pas au rendez-vous. J’ai dû dormir avec des bouchons d’oreilles, mais ma conjointe, qui n’en avait pas, a passé plusieurs mauvaises nuits, allant même jusqu’à toquer à la porte d’un voisin pour demander de faire moins de bruit. Si vous recherchez de la tranquillité et un véritable repos, je vous déconseille cet établissement, malgré la propreté des chambres et la gentillesse indéniable du personnel.

Quelques retouches de peinture dans la chambre à réaliser et quelques petits carreaux au fond de la piscine à remettre en place pour avoir une note parfaite.

Het bed was fijn, lief personeel, alles was goed schoon! Je kon een ontbijtje bestellen en dat werd snel gebracht. Ze konden je met alles helpen.

Niet echt een ding, maar veel bedjes kregen door de doeken die vastzaten geen zon, wat we juist wilden :) Locatie is een tikkie afgelegen, een auto is een aanrader.

Such a lovely hotel, both inside and out. Room was bright and big and extremely clean. The bed was so comfy and the shower lovely. Both shower towels and beach towels were provided. The pool area was very relaxing and again spotlessly clean. All the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The pet dogs are so good, happy to just come up and say hello as you have breakfast or lunch at the different seating areas outside. Our flight was not till late afternoon, but it was no problem for us to stay by the pool after we checked out with a shower available to use before you head off. Will definitely return.

The small hotel is beautiful friendly and peaceful but closer enough to get anywhere easily with an Uber. Servings visit and wine be the last.

All was great value for money. If anything a little more option in the lunch menu would be great.
