Disappointing stay — misleading photos and serious issues with our room Unfortunately, our five-night stay at A Tribute To Music was very disappointing and did not match what we expected based on the photos and description when we booked. The rooms shown online were significantly more attractive than the room we were actually given. Our room was smaller and much darker than it appeared in the photos, the furniture was worn and dated, and there was an unpleasant smell. The most serious issue was the air conditioning. Air conditioning was advertised as an amenity, but the AC in our first room, Room 302, did not function properly and the room became extremely hot, particularly given the heatwave in Venice. We were provided with two fans, but they did very little to cool the room. We ultimately had to request a different room after two very uncomfortable nights. Once we were moved to Room 104, the AC worked properly and the room was comfortably cool, which made the difference between the two rooms very apparent. We also found that the room we were initially given was not the room represented in our Booking.com confirmation and was considerably smaller than what we had expected. We paid €1,620 for our five-night stay, so we expected the accommodations to be consistent with what was advertised. To the hotel's credit, they did move us to another room when we complained, and the AC in that room worked properly. However, we feel that the first two nights of our stay were unacceptable given the condition of the room and the lack of functioning air conditioning. We subsequently requested a partial refund for those two nights, but the hotel declined. The location is beautiful, but based on our experience, we would not stay here again. The photos and description created expectations that the actual accommodations did not meet.

Incredible location. We had canal view and it was so peaceful watching the water. Staff were extremely accommodating and incredible to interact with.

The shower randomly changed temperature and burned us on multiple occasions. AC struggled to keep up. Noise from the boats could get quite loud.

Persoonlijke en vriendelijke service, geweldige locatie met ongelofelijk uitzicht. Zeer comfortabel met ruime badkamer, balkon en keuken. Rustig ondanks veel toeristen en drukte van aankomende en vertrekkende boten.

Queríamos dejar constancia de nuestra disconformidad con nuestra estadía en el hotel. Al momento de realizar la reserva, la descripción del hotel indicaba que contaba con Wi-Fi. Por ese motivo, mi novia y yo asumimos que tendríamos conexión a internet durante nuestra estadía. Sin embargo, al llegar nos encontramos con que el Wi-Fi no funcionaba. Para nosotros esto fue especialmente importante, ya que debido al cambio horario necesitábamos trabajar durante las noches y realizar llamadas importantes. Lamentablemente, no pudimos hacerlo durante ninguna de las tres noches que estuvimos hospedados. Realizamos el reclamo en recepción desde el primer momento, pero no recibimos una solución concreta. La única respuesta que nos daban era que el problema se iba a solucionar “en algún momento”, algo que finalmente nunca ocurrió durante nuestra estadía. Consideramos que, teniendo en cuenta el precio del hotel y los servicios que se ofrecen en su descripción, este tipo de inconvenientes deberían ser resueltos de manera rápida y efectiva. Para nosotros, contar con Wi-Fi era un aspecto fundamental a la hora de elegir y reservar el hotel. De haber sabido que no tendríamos conexión durante toda nuestra estadía, directamente no hubiésemos realizado la reserva. Por este motivo, esperamos que puedan tener en consideración lo sucedido y ofrecernos algún tipo de compensación por el inconveniente ocasionado y por un servicio que estaba incluido en la reserva pero que no pudimos utilizar durante las tres noches.

La cama aunque era para dos y era de las que tienen dos colchones unidos, fue cómoda.

Reservé y me pusieron pegas para modificar la fecha. El aire acondicionado hacia ruido y la habitación olía a meos. Literalmente a pis. El hotel diría que es demasiado vintage y no vale el precio que tiene. En España sería una estrella o 2 estrellas. No hay desayuno aunque lo ponen en la foto y la zona es demasiado agobiante. Estuve en otro hotel en Dorsoduro que recomiendo mucho más Ca Santo Spirito.

Värsta hotellupplevelsen – AC:n fungerade inte och personalens bemötande var oacceptabelt Tyvärr hade vi en mycket dålig upplevelse på detta hotell. Det värsta är att hotellet marknadsför att rummen har AC, vilket vi självklart förväntade oss skulle fungera. I vårt rum högst upp fungerade AC:n knappt alls, trots att vi påtalade problemet direkt. Vi fick en fläkt och blev lovade att problemet skulle åtgärdas dagen efter. Dagen efter rengjordes filtret, men det blev ingen som helst märkbar förbättring. Vi erbjöds även att byta rum, men AC:n fungerade lika dåligt där. På kvällen luktade det dessutom väldigt illa från AC:n, så vi ringde receptionen. En i personalen kom upp till rummet och började skrika på oss, och att AC:n var gammal och att detta var något man fick förvänta sig när man reste. Vi blev även anklagade för att ha alkohol på rummet och för att ha haft fönstret öppet, vilket inte stämde. På grund av värmen kunde vi knappt sova. Vi fick mitt i natten försöka svalka oss med kalla handdukar och kalla bad. Det är en sak om ett hotell har tekniska problem, men då förväntar man sig att personalen försöker lösa situationen på ett professionellt och respektfullt sätt. Här var problemet känt från början, AC:n fungerade fortfarande inte efter åtgärd och dessutom blev vi bemötta på ett fullständigt oacceptabelt sätt. Det mest anmärkningsvärda är att hotellet skriver att det finns AC på rummen, men i praktiken hade vi ingen fungerande AC alls. Hade vi vetat detta innan bokningen hade vi aldrig valt hotellet. Dessutom var städningen under all kritik, matrester under sängen och baggar vid sänggaveln. Vi rekommenderar verkligen inte detta hotell.

Super Lage direkt am Wasser und nur 5 min fußläufig vom Markusplatz entfernt. Es gibt kein Frühstück, jedoch direkt vor dem Hotel mehrere Restaurants, die bereits ab 7.30h Frühstück anbieten. Das Hotel ist natürlich nicht das neueste, jedoch exakt dem Stil und dem Flair der Stadt entsprechend schön. Es gibt jeweils immer nur eine Person an der Rezeption und eine, die die Zimmer reinigt. Alle waren zuvorkommend und äusserst hilfsbereit bei Fragen und Themen, die wir hatten.

Einzig, die Klima Anlage hat es leider geschafft, den Weg ihrer kühlen Luft von der Zimmer Türe bis ums Eck, wo das sehr bequeme King Size Bett steht, zurückzulegen. Wir waren jedoch auch zu einer Zeit dort, als es tagsüber mehr als 36 Grad im Schatten hatte.

Un très beau séjour dans cet hôtel ! ✨ Une mention spéciale pour l’accueil, qui a été exceptionnel du début à la fin. Une équipe chaleureuse, souriante, disponible et très professionnelle, ce qui fait vraiment la différence. On s’y sent immédiatement bien et comme chez soi. The description is misleading. It does NOT look over a canal - it overlooks the lagoon. Also u cannot have breakfast on the balcony. The don’t do breakfast and balcony has no furniture to do that.

Líbilo se nám všechno naprosto nejlepší místo kde jsme byli. Výhled perfektní, klid a soukromí. Úžasný pan recepční co nás přijímal. Prostě jsme nadšeni a jednou se chystáme vrátit. Děkujeme moc a všem vřele doporučujeme.

Emplaçament formidable davant la alguna amb vistes a l’illa de San Giorgio. Ideal per visitar la Biennale i a pocs minuts de Piazza San Marco.

I stay at this lovely hotel once a year. I discovered it more than 20 years ago when I was looking for a hotel close to the Arsenale and Giardini de Venezia to attend the Biennales. The reception staff are friendly and they always give me my favourite room. There are some good restaurants nearby. It's also some distance from the crowds at the Piazza San Marcos. The wifi is excellent and the AC did an excellent job of cooling my room despite the high temperatures when I stayed there in June.

Staff was nice and attentive while they were there. Rooms were very clean and the bathroom was nice.

There is no staff there between 23:00 and 8:00. The fire alarm went off at 1 am and no one could get ahold of the staff. I left early in the morning the next day, before staff had arrived. The power was out and we were locked in the building. Luckily, the staff office was unlocked where I found a door to the outside. The door was locked, but I was able to open the window and climb out of it. This was an extreme safety hazard and made me feel unsafe. We were also not told about the local tax beforehand, which could only be paid in euros.

No Breakfast . They stop doing breakfast some time ago apparently but no word from them or booking.com despite reviews mentioning breakfast served on rooms and 3 pictures on the web site showing breakfasts . Also literature in room stating breakfast served between 8-10am. I feel I paid for something we don’t have. And would have chosen the Paganelli instead. Also only mirror in the bathroom . Needs mirror in bedroom on dressing table or full length mirror on wall. Not really a wardrobe either just an alcove with a curtain across, not shown this in photos. About deceiving.

The staff were lovely!

Room was right off the water near Arsenali, one of the water transit stops. For the price, we had a great location and experience. Beds were comfortable, area quiet. AC worked well. Overall a great experience.

It wasnt a huge deal, but the tub wall is about 1.5' tall, so some older folks or those without good balance may have a tough time getting in and out of the shower. Otherwise, it was great.

Wonderful stay here in Venice, well located for the waterbus and an easy walk into the main tourist areas with plenty of food and drink options along the main water concourse outside. Water views from the room, there is a bit of boat noise but it didn’t bother us. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and bathroom was modern and spotless. Staff were very friendly and easy to get in and out with the door code + elevator key

The central aircon struggled to keep the room cool as it was very hot during our summer stay, best keep the curtains and bathroom closed to help this. Likewise the fridge was not very cold. Otherwise the stay was great.

Cute small hotel close to Plaza San Marco. Decent size rooms, clean and modern bathroom. The place has an elevator too - good for accessibility.

Little hard to find from outside - no signs. We had to look at the pictures and look for the similar looking building.

Excellent location, close to Arsenale station and perfect for people attending the Biennale. The room is spacious and clean. There’s a Nespresso machine in the room. And I got a room with a view to the sea, couldn’t be happier. Definitely will stay there again on the next biennale.

There was no breakfast in the hotel, but it’s near to many restaurants and pasticerias. The TV was very small. The shower is in a bathtub, which I find very uncomfortable, but the towels are good. The air conditioner was not able to cool the room in the heat of the summer, a ceiling fan would have been very helpful. Also, it was very hard for me to find, the name of the hotel is in a small box on the the left side of the door. I recommend people search for the address on Google Maps (not the name of the hotel).

A központi látnivalókhoz nagyon közel, kiváló elhelyezkedésű szállás. A szobánk ablaka a csatornára nézett, gyönyörű panorámával. A hangulata elragadó volt. A fürdőszoba gyönyörű, minden igényt kielégített. Szinte minden új volt és minőségi. Kávé és tea bekészítés várt minket. A recepcióról kényelmesen lifttel tudtunk felmenni a szobába. Reggeli nem volt az árban, mert a környéken több kifejezetten reggelizős hely is van. Reggel 7-től este 11-ig van recepció, ahol napközben ott lehet hagyni a csomagokat a szoba átvételéig. Mindenki nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. Ráadásul kiváló étterem ajánlatot kaptunk. A környék biztonságos, éjszaka is bátran lehet sétálni. Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom.

A szoba kicsit keskeny volt, így a keresztbe fordított franciaágy lábánál alig maradt hely a közlekedésre a fürdőszobához. Viszont ez nem akkora gond, csak kicsit kényelmetlen. A fürdőszobába cserébe szintén nagy ablak van, így ott is van bőven természetesen fény. Az ágy puhasága vagy keménysége ízlés kérdése, de alapvetően kényelmes volt.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage gleich beim Wasser. Wir waren ua auch wegen der Bienale dort, Arsenale und Giardini sind unweit, aber auch der Markusplatz ist schnell erreicht. Unser Zimmer in einen ruhigen Innenhof war für venezianische Verhältnisse sehr geräumig und auch im Bad konnte man sich gut bewegen. Es gab Klimaanlage und Minibar, auch zum Kühlen eigener Getränke. Auch zum Verstauen unserer Kleidung war genug Platz.

Die Ausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen um nicht zu sagen verschlissen (einer unserer Stores war zB zerrissen). Andererseits passt das zum Flair Venedigs.

Eine Info zur Baustelle vor der Tür wäre nett gewesen. Hilfreich wäre bei der Wegbeschreibung der Hinweis, dass der Eingang wie ein Hauseingang ist. Man sucht automatisch eine große Hotellobby.
