The hotel is beautiful, breakfast is excellent.

So many stairs - and I'm not talking about the ones that lead to the hotel, but the ones inside of it. In the middle of a heatwave (35-38°C) maybe you shouldn't put guests that are staying for a considerable number of nights in a room up in the garden (don't recommend those, also because of the lack of privacy). But it would have been a 9 or 10 anyways if it wasn't for the checkout experience. We booked a taxi the day before as we had to leave very early the next morning and 10 minutes before the time of the booking they started knocking on our door and rushing us, and we really didn't understand why. It was a very unpleasant experience, and afterwards we realised that they wanted to use the same driver for some other guests that were actually taking the same train as us, which is why they wanted us to hurry (as the driver had to the same journey twice within minutes)... It seemed very unprofessional.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. I spent 5 nights here with my family. The reception staff - Elena, Martina - and all the others were so helpful and could not do enough. They helped with restaurant bookings, arranging taxis, boat excursions. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast is nice and the pool area is wonderful. Even laundry is complimentary. The location of the hotel is perfect - a few minutes walk to the main part of Taormina.

We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay at the villa. The kindness and hospitality were exceptional, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was fantastic! 👍👍

Beautiful historic villa with elegant architecture and a great atmosphere. Excellent location within walking distance of Taormina’s main attractions. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was clean, and the breakfast was very good. The pool area and the views made the stay even more enjoyable.

The check-out experience was very disappointing. Although check-out was at 11:00 a.m., at around 11:30 a.m. the staff stood outside our room for approximately 20 minutes, repeatedly urging us to leave because new guests were arriving. The approach felt uncomfortable and not appropriate for a hotel of this standard. They also never asked whether we wished to extend our stay. In addition, during our second stay the room was much smaller and significantly less comfortable than the one we had during our previous visit, despite a similar price. Overall, our second experience did not match the high standard of our first stay.

The hotel is in a great location and the option of parking is great. The decoration is very “Italian”, with the right amount of vintage and modern. The bed was very VERY comfy, and the bathroom and shower fantastic. The service and staff were very attentive.

We stayed in the Junior Suite and feel like I expected more for what it costs per night. It wasn’t very big with no extra space apart from the bedroom itself. Only plus was the private jacuzzi. The hotel pool was smaller than expected and closed early (8pm)

The former private villa has been transformed to compliment this beautiful place with paying guests visiting - a unique experience, magic find & perfectly located close to piazza Duomo.

What an incredible week me and my wife just had at Hotel Vila Taormina. Paulo is an absolute legend and made us feel welcome from day one, and the two incredible ladies on reception, Eleanor and Martina were so helpful in helping us discover Sicily. Breakfast is perfect and the hotel in immaculate 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The attention you get in a small hotel! The bed and pillows were amazing!

If someone is not good in stairs look for another option- for us family of 4 it was fine!

L’hôtel est super bien placé, en arrivant nous avons eu le droit à une coupe de prosecco dans le salon, puis, Elena nous a rejoint pour nous présenter l’hôtel et nous indiquer les lieux incontournables de la ville. L’hôtel communique par WhatsApp ce qui est super, si vous avez envie d’aller à la plage ils peuvent tout organiser pour vous et vous avez juste à vous laisser guider, pareil pour les restaurants, ils nous en ont recommandé à chaque fois et c’était délicieux. Concernant la chambre, elle était top. Nous avions un balcon qui avait une petite vue sur l’Etna et tout entouré de Rhododendron magnifique. Nous y avons très bien dormi Le petit déjeuner est très bon, avec des produits locaux et vue sur la mer, de quoi bien démarrer la journée. La piscine n’est pas grande mais suffisante, c’est un petit hôtel donc pour nous c’était parfait pour finir la journée en beauté. Le jardin est très apaisant avec ses jasmins de partout, ça sent divinement bon. Nous avons testé le restaurant et encore une fois c’était super. Nous tenons à remercier l’ensemble du personnel qui a été fabuleux et en particulier à Elena qui nous a vraiment chouchouter, nous avions besoin de repos et déconnexion et tout était parfait.

Great property with a great location, just steps away from the main strip. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed breakfast every morning. This was our 4th hotel on our 2 week trip and out of all the properties they had the best smelling toiletries- kinda random but they were great!

Everything - it was so close but felt quiet and out of the way; the staff were so helpful in every way; the beds were comfortable and rooms quiet; the breakfast was incredible with such a selection of delicious local foods. We loved our stay!

What is not to love about Villa Taormina...it is a beautiful tranquil villa within walking steps to the main area of town. The villa itself is filled with charm in every room, in the hallways, in the garden, in the sitting areas. They have a pool, incredible service and truly care about each of their guests. It is small enough that you really do feel like family here. The beds are incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed every moment of our stay here and would absolutely recommend it!

The location was great and the hotel met us and drove our car the last few streets and then parked it for us(much to my relief). Lovely room and rooftop bar/restaurant. The breakfast was exceptional.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Villa Taormina. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located, close enough to walk into the centre of Taormina while still feeling quiet and relaxing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the whole hotel has such a personal, boutique feel to it. The pool area was amazing, perfect for relaxing after exploring Taormina, and everything was kept spotless. Breakfast each morning was so good, with fresh local produce, great coffee, and plenty of choice. You can really tell a lot of care goes into every detail of the hotel. The rooftop views were also stunning and made the stay feel even more special. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend Hotel Villa Taormina to anyone visiting Sicily.

Service was sublime. Paolo, the GM, greeted us at our car and had 2 staff members ready to take the car and bags so we did not have to park in the tiny streets. Elena and Paolo shared excellent recommendations throughout our stay. We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco on the rooftop bar and a guide to Taormina and how to see the sites. Breakfast was a delight on the too floor with views of Etna and the sea. Homemade baked goods, local cheeses, made to order eggs and caffe. The room is small but well appointed and has a beautiful patio which extends the space. Bed was very comfortable and the AC was a nice benefit for cool sleeping. Everyone who works there is a delight and made our stay unforgettable.

This is an outstanding small hotel. One block from the main street of Taormina it is close to everything but a quiet oasis. The staff led by Manager Paolo, could not do enough for us. The breakfast on rooftop overlooking the sea was extraordinary with in house baked pasteries new each morning. Every area outside of this villa was a surprise. The rooftop pool and bar were topnotch. It is a superb hotel.

Personnel was amazing, we informed our arrival time and they took the effort to have our room available well ahead of the check-in time. Our room was spacious, bathroom was large and well equipped. Hotel location was perfect, just a few minutes and a few steps from the main street, still on very quiet street. Breakfast in top floor terrace was amazing, lots of choice and more available by ordering. Perfect start for a beautiful day! Hotel has nice sun terrace with a pool, unfortunately we did not have time to test it

if one has to mention something, the fan in the bathroom was a bit noisy, it was on every time the light was on

A magnificent boutique Hotel, in an ideal location, with amazing staff. My visit had to be rescheduled from last year, which was merely the start of what was top class service in every way from this Hotel; the welcome, the room amenities, the luggage, the breakfast, the tour arranging, the rooftop bar, nothing was any trouble and always done with a smile on everyone’s face.

Great location for a chilled and relaxing stay but still only a couple of steps away from the bustle of the Main Street. Paolo and his team were exceptional and couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfasts were amazing

We so enjoyed our stay! The hotel is in a great central location within a very short walking distance to the center of town. Small hotel, maybe 15 rooms? The staff was all tremendous both prior to our stay and during our stay. Klaudia and Martina, in particular were both super helpful before and during our stay. When we arrived there was some emergency roadwork going on and our driver couldn’t get close to the hotel so the staff came down to meet and took our luggage uphill for a hundred yards or so. Room was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. We had a larger room by the pool area. They also offered some nice recommendation for restaurants, very knowledgeable. Breakfast was excellent. They started to anticipate our needs which was awesome! Great stay and thanks for the wonderful and personal hospitality. Highly recommend!

A simply beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and friendly boutique hotel within easy walking distance of all Taoromina's high spots. The staff at the hotel (special shout-out to Paulo and Claudia) were all, without exception, excellent and generous with their time and recommendations. We both enjoyed talking with each of them during our stay and appreciated the special care and attention they gave us during our memorable trip to beautiful Taormina. Highly recommended!

La chambre numéro 1 est située juste en dessous de la salle du petit déjeuner d où quelques bruits de chaises le matin. En dehors de cela environnement très silencieux.

The staff at Villa Taormina made our stay incredible! Martina and the new colleague at the front desk were so helpful with suggestions and our many questions. Even before we arrived the staff helped arrange contact with our family village to trace our roots. Buddi made the best cappuccinos and was there any time we needed assistance with luggage or anything, and always with a smile. And lastly Klaudia saved the day when we misunderstood closing time for the local laundry and were locked out , she called the owner, arranged for them to open it and saved the day so that we could leave early the next morning and even arranged for an early breakfast, all without us even asking. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement. And of course the property Is lovely with views of the sea and Mt Etna set among citrus trees galore. The family suite with the outdoor bath tub was incredible! Highly recommend!

Great location and the hotel was perfect in every way!! Not one complaint or shortfall.

Had a few problems with the shower. Could not get the overhead shower to work, and the hand held was mounted so low that it just hit me in the face; causing water to go all over. If mounted higher it could have been used as a shower at least.

So beautiful and charming. The setting is spectacular, the rooms perfect and the staff kind and helpful.

I don’t normally write reviews but this hotel is worthy of an exception. It really is a special hotel just a few steps away from the buzz of Corso Umberto I and the heart of Taormina. The property itself is beautiful and has been sensitively converted from a grand private residence into a lovely small hotel but honestly it’s the staff who make the place so special. We were welcomed like family (and handed a glass of Prosecco at check-in) and then treated like honoured guests by everyone we interacted with but especially so by Nino, xx and yy. Our room was on the top floor of the main building, honestly it was fairly small but with a good sized bathroom and had a small balcony with a view of both the sea and Mount Etna looming over the rooftops of Taormina. Everything about the room was well thought out to maximise the space and we had a very comfortable 3 night stay. We were travelling around Sicily and did have a hire car and so had to drive to the hotel, but we followed the instructions we had received by WhatsApp before we arrived and it all went very smoothly. We didn’t need the car again until after we’d checked out. We loved the local products used for breakfast, much of which comes from either local suppliers - like the bread, hams, cheeses, jams and honey - or is made in their kitchen. They will also whip you up eggs of your choosing on request.

What a beautiful hotel with amazing staff who communicated with me so efficiently before we even had arrived. The hotel is in a perfect location to experience this stunning town. The rooms are very comfortable with ours having a small balcony looking down on the ocean and city with MtEtna on the right. We enjoyed the pool and bar area with staff again being so friendly and helpful. We had a perfect stay and we were very appreciative of the hotel manager for his advice on restaurants and it was obvious he took pride in this lovely boutique hotel. We thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are looking for some special.

From start to finish, this hotel has been everything we could possibly hope for on a trip to Taormina The accommodations are exceptional in a former residence and beautifully decorated throughout. There are many places to relax in garden and patio areas and enjoy the view of Mt. Etna and the Ionian Sea. The bar was fabulous and bartender Michael was very attentive to our every need. Paola met us when we arrived and has been very helpful in navigating the property and the area. If you go to Taormina, this hotel is a must!

Lovely hotel in an excellent location, but what makes the experience really special is the amazing staff. Everyone has been incredibly accommodating, helpful and friendly, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout the stay.

Stepping into this boutique hotel, one feels immediately taken to relaxation from Taormina’s cute shops, bars and tourists. The elegant design showcases Sicilian art without it being overwhelming in every corner of the hotel. Absolutely stunning. The service is impeccable. Our room had a private patio that I could have spent the day relaxing if I didn’t have tours and Taormina to explore. The cocktail bar and breakfast room has views of Mount Etna. Postcard worthy! I would stay here any time of year.
