The Hotel has wonderful views but is situated up a mountain side and a good 30 minute walk from lakeside and local amenities. A car is essential but the road is narrow and winding

Dommage qu'on ne puisse diner sur place mais la trattoria conseillée à deux pas était agréable.

Der Empfang im familiengeführten Hotel war überaus freundlich. Alle sind sehr hilfsbereit, wir haben gute Ratschläge bekommen zum kostenfreien Parken in Tremezzo und für die Schiffsfahrten, die man dort machen kann, z.b. nach Bellagio und Varenna. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich und ansprechend dargeboten. Das Abendessen ist sehr gut, verschiedene Sorten Pasta und unterschiedliche Vorspeisen, gute Desserts und leckere Weine. Der Service ist einzigartig gut. Und der Blick von der Terrasse bei den Mahlzeiten (und auch sonst) ist unbeschreiblich.

This was a wonderful family run hotel and it was very clean, had all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. The views of the lake from the room terrace and from the bar terrace is exceptional. The food and drinks at the bar were wonderful. The staff were really helpful and very friendly. I would highly recommend this property to any one visiting.

The only thing we found was the distance from tremezzo town the hotel itself is up on the mountain. They have a shortcut to walk to town but it is steep. We didn’t mind and got some taxis but found they were priced high at 20-25€ for only a 3-4minute drive but all the drivers were really friendly and helpful so we didn’t mind the price

Ein kleines verstecktes Schmuckstück oberhalb des Comersee in Tremezzo. Sowohl die Besitzer, als auch das Personal waren sehr herzlich und freundlich. Man fühlte sich von Minute 1 sehr wohl. Es ist überall sauber und es stehen genügend Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und als "Draufgabe" hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See. Dafür, dass es gemütlich und ruhig ist, muss man die kleine Bergwertung vom Ort zum Hotel in Kauf nehmen. Wer lieber mit dem Auto fährt kann oberhalb der alten Schule gratis parken und von dort ein paar Minuten in den Ort und zur Schiffsanlegestelle gehen. Beim Pool stehen genug Liegen zur Verfügung.

Destacaría las vistas, la zona de la piscina, el aparcamiento privado y las terrazas para el desayuno. El desayuno también estaba genial. El personal en todo momento está pendiente de que todo esté a tu gusto y a la llegada te explica todo lo que necesitas saber sobre tu estancia en su hotel y sobre las actividades turísticas de la zona, transporte, etc. Me ha encantado.

Nada destacable. Solo un día la ducha no tenía mucha presión, pero no tuvo mayor importancia.

L’éloignement des commerces

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Nos hôtesses et hôte étaient très à l'écoute, ils nous ont très bien conseillés sur les activités et endroits à visiter La vue depuis l'hôtel est superbe et on est au calme et loin du trafic de la route principale.

Le lac de Côme étant très mal équipé en recharge pour véhicules électriques (ils étaient tous en panne dans les alentours), ce serait un plus de pouvoir se recharger sur place

Det kunne være fedt, hvis det var et “Adult-only” hotel. Der er intet at lave for børn, så de få der var, var nok mest til gene for andre end os.

Das Hotel bietet nichts für kleine Kinder. Das stört überhaupt nicht wenn man sich erholen will. Wenn allerdings eine Familie mit zwei Kleinkindern regelmäßig den Pool okkupiert ist das nicht lustig. Vielleicht sollte man darauf hinweisen, dass das Hotel für Kinder unter 12 Jahren nicht geeignet ist.

Отель находится высоко, мы немного не расчитали свои силы - по жаре было сложно подниматься пешком. Завтраки очень скромные, хотелось хотя бы яичницу/омлет иметь на завтрак, а не варить яйца самостоятельно

Beautiful location with stunning views – the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The décor is beautifully chosen, with a traditional yet chic feel throughout. The balconies are amazing, and the drinks service (Aperol Spritz!) was absolutely lovely. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff and owners were so friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of parking, and it's only a short walk or drive to the shops and restaurants. We had a perfect stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

The scent of jasmine fills the air, adding a layer of magic to the location of La Perla that makes staying here even more wonderful. Waking up to the sounds of the elusive cuckoo lets you know you are not in Kansas anymore (not that I live in KS, mind you). We absolutely LOVED the family who hosts La Perla and cannot say enough wonderful things about them! From the warm welcome to the fond farewell, we could not have asked for a better stay on Lake Como! They have hospitality in their blood! They even went as far as to personally call our car rental company to check if we were able to take the car into Switzerland enroute to our next city. Our room faced the famous lake and the small balcony was enough for us to relax and enjoy a late afternoon glass of wine before venturing out for dinner down below. I loved the touch of the pots of jasmine that were grown as dividers in between reach room, acting as scented privacy screens! The bed was comfy but we are pillow people and the pillows were a bit on the flat side. We especially enjoyed the refreshing pool (not heated but PERFECT after a day exploring) and the breakfast buffet. My favorite part was being able to “cook” my own eggs, choosing whether I wanted soft boiled or hard boiled. Even down to the egg cups, the family has an eye for detail. SPECIAL NOTES: *There is parking on-site but not enough for everyone if all the rooms are full, so down below is public parking and stairs to access the hotel. Make sure you tuck your call all the way in. The street is narrow. *If you are driving your own car, ask the hotel for the directions! There are two ways of reaching La Perla … one is less nail-biting than the other (which is the route we took in, learning the hard way that GPS will get you there the fastest, but more stressful, way). *Make sure you ask for an extra key. This is important if you are going to come and go separately from the room. Why? The key unlocks the door, obviously, but you also need to have the key in the holder inside the room to keep the electricity on. While smart, it becomes inconvenient if one person is in the bathroom with the door closed (our room didn’t have a window in the bath) and the other one leaves to go fetch something. The lights go off and you are in the dark. It can be pretty funny but good to know.

Al capdamunt d’un turó, en una ubicació privilegiada amb unes vistes espectaculars sobre el llac de Como i els pobles de San Giovanni i Bellagio a l’altra riba, trobem aquest hotel on l’amabilitat i el servei formen part de l’essència de l’establiment. Des del moment de l’arribada es percep aquesta manera d’entendre l’hospitalitat més tradicional i propera. El personal t’explica amb calma el funcionament de l’hotel i una de les persones de l’equip t’acompanya fins a l’habitació per mostrar-te tots els detalls, un gest cada vegada menys habitual i que marca diferències. La nostra habitació disposava d’un balcó amb unes vistes increïbles sobre el llac, d’aquelles que conviden a seure una estona i simplement mirar. L’estança era àmplia, impecablement neta i molt ben cuidada, amb un gran llit de matrimoni que assegurava un bon descans. El bany, tot i no ser especialment gran, està ben resolt, amb una bona il·luminació i una dutxa còmoda, suficient per a l’ús de dues persones. Un altre dels atractius de l’hotel és la piscina, perfecta per prendre el sol o refrescar-se després d’un dia descobrint els pobles del llac. L’esmorzar, servit en format bufet, es pot gaudir a la terrassa amb el llac com a escenari. No busca impressionar per quantitat, però està molt ben mantingut i ofereix tot el necessari per començar bé el dia. Amb una decoració en tons pastel i un aire que recorda els grans hotels de principis del segle XX, però adaptat a les comoditats actuals, La Perla és un exemple que alguns clàssics no passen mai de moda.

We loved our stay. From the moment we arrived the staff welcomed us and we felt appreciated. The staff did everything to make our stay perfect ❤️This hotel is located in a small town and in hillside which gave a excellent view 😍 There was enough parking places for every room and the swimming pool was clean and perfect. The view from our room and especially from the dining area was amazing 🤩 It was extremely nice to sit on our balcony and enjoy our view.

Hotel espetacular em todos os sentidos. Trata-se de um hotel familiar, gerenciado e administrado pela família de Mara, que é uma simpatia só, alegre, eduacada e atenciosa. Logo ao chegarmos, tivemos a grata surpresa de ganharmos um up grade de quarto com vista para o lago. O Hotel é maravilhoso. Café da manhã excelente, quarto muito confortável e vista simplesmente espetacular. Ideal para quem está de carro, já que tem estacionamento gratuito no local e fácil de chegar ao centro da cidade. Ficaria lá novamente inúmeras vezes.

Adoramos tudo, não há qualquer apontamento negativo a se fazer.

I booked La Perla after reading some very positive reviews, not believing anywhere could be that good - I was wrong !! Every aspect of the hotel was superb !!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Exceptional views. Quiet and away from the ferry noise.

The distance from ferry station may be a difficult walk for some, and taxis can be scarce, but the quiet and view are worth it.

Серпантин при подъезде к гостинице. Но с другой стороны такой фантастический вид на озеро из гостиницы, что стоило подниматься по этому серпантину.

Alles perfekt, selten so ein Top Hotel erlebt!

Das Hotel ist wahrlich eine Perle. Uns fehlen die Worte, so gut war es. Sämtliches Personal ist super lieb und sprechen gefühlt jede Sprache. Sie waren immer extrem hilfsbereit und wir haben auch ein Upgrade bekommen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Cocktails sind hervorragend. Die Lage ist auch prima, gerade wenn man ein wenig seine Ruhe abseits des Como-See Trubels haben möchte. Bei der Abreise mussten wir sehr früh los und auch da kam man uns sehr entgegen (sie wollten uns sogar Brot/Marmelade usw. aufs Zimmer bringen lassen, weil wir vor dem Frühstück abreisen mussten).

Dodatkowo piękne widoki na Jezioro Como i okolice. Blisko do przystanku promu na Bellagio/Lenno, blisko do Willi Balbianello, Carlotta. Sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberfamilie. Immer bereit zu helfen und jegliche Art von Informationen zu liefern. Sehr sauber. Abendessen kann separat bestellt werden. Einfach, aber mit Liebe zubereitet. Zufahrt über 5 Kurven, Berg hoch. Ohne Auto ist eher für sehr sportliche.

The sisters who own La Perla have created a beautiful and very hospitable boutique hotel that goes above snd beyond to satisfy their guests. The pool and views are extraordinary.

The views are possible because the house is located high up on a very steep and windy road. A car is necessary to get down closer to town and to the ferry so some may find that inconvenient. To us, the hotel was worth the the slight negative of needing a car. Another minor inconvenience is that there are no dressers in the beautiful rooms so staying for a week was a bit uncomfortable. Lastly, the pillows are quite hard and flat.

A lovely hotel with fantastic views of the lake from the breakfast terrace. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly keen. Breakfast offers a good range of options. The staff are very friendly and keen to make your stay a good one.

L'emplacement est tout simplement magique : niché au calme au milieu des oliviers, l'hôtel offre depuis ses terrasses et les balcons des chambres une vue panoramique absolument époustouflante sur le lac et les montagnes. Un spectacle dont on ne se lasse pas, du petit-déjeuner au coucher du soleil. ​L'Hospitalité Familiale à l'Italienne : Géré avec passion et une attention de chaque instant par une équipe familiale (notamment deux sœurs dont l'accueil est unanimement salué), l'hôtel brille par son atmosphère chaleureuse. On s'y sent immédiatement "comme à la maison", conseillé avec soin pour découvrir les secrets du lac. ​Les vrais plus : ​Une piscine très agréable au cœur de la verdure pour se détendre après les visites. ​Un petit-déjeuner copieux servi face au lac. ​Un grand parking privé et gratuit (un luxe rare et précieux dans la région !). ​Propreté irréprochable et calme absolu à seulement 25 minutes à pied du centre de Tremezzo. Une adresse coup de cœur où l'on a qu'une envie : revenir !

Beliggenheten var utmerket. Høyt oppe med utsikt over Como sjøen, unna støyen og trafikken. Litt bratt adkomst til sjøen. Gikk ned til sjøen og båten på 20 min, hjem 25 min på en sti som svingte seg nedover. Går å kjøre og parkere nærmere båten. Personale og eiere var kjempe hyggelige og service innstilte, tusen takk til de da de åpnet for frokost tidligere enn normalt pga tidlig avreise. Enkel bar og enkel men god middag servering. Fine parkering muligheter og basseng. Flott felles takterrasse.

Everything!! The staff were so warm & friendly & couldn’t do enough for you. I am Coeliac, so am gluten free & they were so accommodating, providing GF cereal, biscuits & bread. The views from the hotel were stunning, picturesque & it was extremely peaceful.

The position of the hotel on a hillside was the only negative thing. On saying that we managed to walk to & from the hotel to Tremezzo lakeside in 30mins & do feel much fitter for doing it.

Superbe et confortable

Tutto perfetto: gentilezza, professionalità, pulizia, ottima colazione, posizione con vista incantevole e l'occhio particolare di una gestione al femminile!

L'unico suggerimento che vorrei lasciare: aggiungere una bustina di camomilla e una tisana accanto al bollitore😉

Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück hat alles geboten, was man für einen guten Start in den Tag braucht. Das Hotel liegt schön am Hang etwas oberhalb des Sees. Man kommt zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto an den See und hat von dort eine gute Fähranbildung.

Es war durchweg ein positiver Aufenthalt.
