I would have liked an extra sausage.

The decor and fittings were top quality.

The breakfast was inedible.Bacon almost raw,scrambled eggs cooked hours before.

The toilet was blocked after the first night.I didn’t report it ans I left early in the morning as I was going to a funeral.I presumed the cleaners would sort it.When I returned,the room had been half tidied and the brown blockage was still in the toilet.Very Poor!

Personnel adorable, chambre nickel, lit très très très confortable.

Checking out was slid with just one lass on the reception ! The parking is tight around the back of the property . You can park out the front till 8.30 am according to reservations .

Very homely. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent.

The bed was just too soft for me. But that is just my own preference, there was nothing wrong with the bed itself.

Situated in town centre, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Glad we didn't stay in The Quay which is quite a distance. Very good breakfast with wide choice of fruit and cereals and hot options.

We had a brief power failure with one of the lifts but staff very quick to follow up.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast.

Bathroom was a bit dated but adequate. The room opposite our housed laundry and staff were accessing it from 6.40 am. They were quiet but the door opening/closing woke me each morning.

Breakfast was poor quality, not cooked properly and so incredibly boring. The same fare everyday!

I recently stayed in the Clew Bay hotel for a gathering with friends for my 50th birthday.I couldnt recommend the hotel highly enough.The management and staff were so helpful and friendly.The meal was lovely and the choice of breakfasts was excellent.I will definitely be back again.

We had a lovely stay in the clew bay hotel staff are very helpful and friendly ,we have been coming to Westport for the past few years lovely town and the weather wasn’t too bad either the room was brilliant as u asked for walk in shower because of my disability with my leg , The food was great too

It was a very hot day and evening room was like an oven with no aircon.

A big mix up with them about our booking. We were made wait for an hour without an offer of a sit down or any refreshments. The food was not good. I had dry chicken with a few too well done veg. On the whole it wasn’t a good experience. Won’t be staying there again that’s for sure.

We had an amazing stay at the Clew Bay Hotel, spending 4 nights in Westport. The room was comfortable, all of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Couldn't have picked a more centrally located hotel. In the midst of a huge tourist crunch, the ongoing celebrations of the All-Ireland Football Championship, and a packed hotel I was so amazed and pleased that both Darren and Maria took some time to sit and chat with a couple of Americans visiting their hotel and community. We had a glorious time with all the sights, sounds and people of Westport.

I gave this hotel a 5 because it deserves a 5. Number one, very clean (important, no?). Service great. Location is smack in the middle of town. Breakfast (served from 8 AM) was made to order and served table side. Madden's Restaurant served a great dinner and the bar was very friendly. The menu had good choices and the portions were enough for a hungry man. This year was my 3rd or 4th time staying for the August Bank Holiday Weekend. Next year will be my 5th. Need I say more?

Lovely, clean, and cosy hotel with a great location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant served excellent food, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Westport and would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights at Clew Bay hotel it was in a great location the rooms were spacious and very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was 1st class we will definitely stay here again

Location, staff, cleanliness, comfort and value were all excellent. The breakfast & dinner in the hotel were really good quality too & waiting staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with. I would absolutely recommend staying here and will definitely stay again.

Had a most enjoyable one night stay at the Clew Bay Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff from reception to dining room for breakfast. Beautiful art through the hotel with a lovely relaxing foyer despite being right in the centre of busy Westport. Room was clean, well stocked and afforded a lovely view Would certainly recommend a stay here and will return again hopefully for longer.

Everything was so lovely! From the friendly staff to the lovely clean room. I am a manual wheelchair user and the hotel went above and beypnd to accomodate me. There is lift access everywhere and the room was clean and perfectly laid out - will definitely stay here again!

A really enjoyable trip to Westport the Clew Bay hotel. Every member of staff was extremely pleasant and helpful; our room was comfortable and well appointed although the bathroom was a little dated (fixed showerhead over a bath with shower curtain); the entire hotel was spotless and well maintained; breakfast was delicious and served with a happy smile each day; the price was reasonable and acceptable; the location is excellent in the middle of town but in one of the quieter streets. All in all, highly recommended indeed.

Despite being extremely busy there was no dip in standards. Cleanness, service, excellent staff interaction with special mention of a beautiful breakfast. We said leaving that a return visit is a must.

Clew Bay is a lovely family run hotel in a superb location in the middle of town close to everything. Darren and Maria are excellent hosts and the 2 nights B&B with dinner on one evening option is great value. We have been going to the hotel for years now and would never look anywhere else. Looking forward to the next time already.

Central location. The room a little bit too small but it had everything you needed. We had dinner which was lovely and it was served by friendly professional staff. We had a healthy breakfast and one of the guests was coeliac and was well catered for. All in all we had a lovely experience from start to finish the staff were very helpful and friendly and it was great value for money.

Stay in Clew Bay hotel was fantastic. Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent cooked to order and again staff were so nice. Westport is a really nice place but the hotel definitely made it top notch.

My wife and I enjoyed another perfect visit to Clew Bay Hotel in July, to celebrate an anniversary. Check-in was friendly and professional. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The bedroom was very comfortable, with TV and coffee & tea-making facilities. Iced water was available from the bar. The room was ultra quiet - we didn't hear any traffic, loud guests or banging doors. The location is ideal, close to many restaurants and bars. It is also close to the Leisure Centre and the hotel can provide free admission tickets. The hotel bar is very comfortable with a wide variety of food and drinks available. The breakfast was memorable, with a great selection of cereals, juices, fruits, and hot plates cooked to order and delivered with a smile. Our thanks to Darren and the team who made us feel very special.

Highly recommend The Clew Bay Hotel. The staff give 100% to guests. Lovely atmosphere, very comfortable, great food and the location is perfect. Will definitely return!!

Sadly, I only had one night at Clew Bay. The hotel is conveniently located to restaurants, pubs and shopping. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was very kind and helpful. I will be back

We had a lovely stay in the clew bay . It's location was perfect as we attended a wedding nearby. . First impressions are always important. the ladies at reception were so welcoming and friendly.
