Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Die Lage des Hôtel des Arts ist wirklich kaum zu toppen: nur wenige Schritte vom Seeufer entfernt und gleichzeitig nahe der Altstadt. Dafür gibt es definitiv Pluspunkte.
Beim Komfort und bei der Ausstattung besteht allerdings deutlich Luft nach oben. In unserem Zimmer eine offene Nasszelle.– kein separates Bad. Nach dem Duschen stand das Wasser. Der Duschkopf liess sich zudem nicht vernünftig verstellen. Und das Mini-WC ist so klein, dass sich ein normal grosser Mensch darin kaum bewegen kann. Eine durchgelegene Matratze kam hinzu. Anscheinend ist das die Kunst, die Kunst, in diesem Hotel mit all den Widrigkeiten und Fehlern übernachten zu können. Fazit: Top-Lage, aber beim Komfort und bei der Ausstattung gibt es deutliche Abstriche.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, der Empfang war ausgesprochen freundlich und unser Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Zimmer zum Innenhof wurde erfüllt. Besonders praktisch für uns war der sichere Fahrradkeller mit Stromanschlüssen gleich um die Ecke. Auch das grosszügige Frühstücksbuffet hat überzeugt. Insgesamt hat die Unterkunft unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Das Hotel hat eine gute zentrale Lage und ist daher gut geeignet, wenn man die Stadt erkunden will. Die Umgebung war ruhig. Ein- und Auschecken waren unkompliziert.
Das Zimmer unter dem Dach war sehr heiss und die mobile Klimaanlage war nötig. Diese war jedoch sehr laut. Das Zimmer war eher klein, was für uns nicht störend war, da wir das Zimmer nur für 1 Übernachtung benutzt haben. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre es jedoch zu klein.

Only fans on the rooms, which was not sufficient with the high temperatures that we had (which was known upfront - but bad choice due to the hot weather we had).

C’est un hôtel qui a un certain âge et qui aurait grandement besoin d’être rénové. Pas de climatisation mais des petits ventilateurs et des stores cassés à la chambre 101 que l’on ne pouvait pas lever. Donc une chaleur pas possible dans cette chambre. On a réservé également 6 autres chambres et tout le monde s’est plein de la chaleur dans les chambres.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Accueil sympathique et efficace. Nos bagages ont même pu être gardés avant que nous reprenions notre train. Nous avons apprécié le calme de la chambre, sa propreté et son confort ainsi que la salle de bain au design fonctionnel. L'hôtel se situe à distance très raisonnable du centre de Neuchatel. Nous avons pu déambuler facilement à pied dans le centre historique.
La wifi n'a pas été fonctionnelle - ceci est sans doute du au fait que nous étions à l'extrémité d'un étage.

L’hôtel est malheureusement assez vieillissant et aurait besoin d’être modernisé. Il faisait très chaud pendant notre séjour et il n’y avait pas de climatisation, seulement un ventilateur, ce qui était assez difficile à supporter. Il manquait également un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre, notamment pour pouvoir conserver le lait de notre fille ou simplement garder une bouteille d’eau au frais.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Wir waren im Juli da und hatten ein Zimmer zur Strasse mit Abendsonne. Das war viel zu heiss zum Schlafen. Es hat keine Lüftung/Klimaanlage. Wir haben das mit der Belegschaft des Hotels besprochen und dann eine Lösung gefunden, die für alle funktionierte.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Das Zimmer entsprach der Beschreibung. Gute Grösse, alles da, was man so braucht, sogar eine Kaffeemaschine. Grosses Bad mit super Dusche. Die Lage war für mich perfekt. Schnell am Bahnhof, ganz schnell am See (Jene Rives) wirklich ideal. Schöne Auswahl beim Frühstück und super freundliches Personal.
Das wirklich Einzige was nicht top top war - aber dafür kann das Hotel überhaupt nichts - war die Baustelle vor dem Hotel. Bei offenem Fenster war sie etwas laut. Hat mich aber nicht weiter gestört.
