Friendly staff, reasonably priced, perfect rooms

Emplacement idéal près de l'arrêt de bus Pontresina Post (tous les bus partent de là et permettent d'aider à tous els spots importants ) et de la petite gare sur la ligne du train Bernina Express. Transports gratuits pour les résidents des hôtels. Chambre lambrissée et claire. Salle de restaurant agréable. L'accueil est chaleureux que ce soit à l'hôtel ou au restaurant. Toute question a sa réponse. L'hôtel disposant de la meilleure boulangerie-patisserie de Pontrésina, le pain du petit déjeuner est excellent autant en qualité qu'en choix.

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus varié par exemple crudités ( tomates, concombre, ...) L'eau du thé est trop chaude (100 ° au lieu des 85 ° conseillés au maximum) pour les amateurs de thé. Dommage car il y a un très beau choix de thé. Le restaurant est bien mais cher si vous n'êtes pas en demi-pension.

Everything was perfect. The entire hotel and room was absolutely immaculate, views and location are incredible! They will even drive you to and from train station.

This is my second stay at Albris, and I’m certain it won’t be the last. The blend of exceptional standards, heartfelt hospitality from the staff, and the passion of the owners makes every stay truly unforgettable.

This is admittedly a small detail, but a tea station outside the wellness area would make an already excellent experience truly perfect.

The hotel is very beautiful, tidy, and exceptionally clean, with a great location. I was welcomed with delicious cookies in the room, a small detail that makes a big difference. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as having a shoehorn available, which shows real attention to guests comfort. A truly wonderful experience, and I would happily recommend this hotel.

Ein kleiner, allgemeiner Aufenthaltsraum wäre sympathisch

Sehr bequemes Bett und bequeme Bettdecken, schönes Zimmer in Holz vertäfelt, Engadiner Haus, sehr gute Frühstücksqualität (man kann sich ein Ei dort im Wasserbad kochen, sehr gute Brötchen, Schinken und Käse in hervorragender Qualität), familiäre Atmosphäre, sehr nettes Personal, auch schnell lösungsorientiert bei meinem recht spät telefonisch gewünschten Check-in, Badezimmer ist gestalterisch nicht das allermodernste aber sauber und gut ausgestattet, Fenster vom Zimmer bot Blick in die Berge, vom Frühstücksraum und der Terrasse aus hat man auch schönen Bergview, sehr ruhig gelegen und doch per Bus super angebunden, ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt

Schönes Hotel, freundliches Personal, tipptopper kleiner Wellnessbereich, sehr gutes Abendessen und Frühstück, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tiefgaragenparkplatz für 15 Franken ist zwar nicht unüblich, müsste für mich bei diesem Zimmerpreis allerdings inklusive sein. E-Ladestationen sind zwar ein paar wenige vorhanden, wurden allerdings von nicht Elektrofahrzeugen zugeparkt. Wäre toll, wenn man diese freihalten könnte.

Quarto aconchegante, SPA muito bem equipado, café da manhã maravilhoso com vista linda para as montanhas.

Location is excellent. Hotel is superb. Food is fantastic and service crew is the best. Everything is to make you comfortable. Very clean.

Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich holzvertäfelt eingerichtet,Betten sind bequem. In 7 ist gut. Das Frühstück Buffet ist sehr umfangreich und lecker. Service freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert.

We had the usual warm welcome at The Albris. Food is absolutely delicious, service is so kind and thoughtful. Our 3 generation group all had a wonderful holiday thanks to all the special touches by management.

Ein tolles Hotel mit allerhand Comfort. Absolut empfehlenswert. Einzig der Fluss Bernina war zu laut und hat für innere Unruhe gesorgt.

Small family run hotel with embedded bakery (thus tantalizing smells and overwhelming selection at breakfast!). Very immaculate sauna and steam facilities lovely at end of day.

Location very central, right near bus stop. Cutest mt wooden chalet vibe, the design of the bedrooms, clean, little design touches which make a difference ( linens etc) Beautifully considered spa space w surprising delights. Wonderful ….no, excellent quality food & variety ( & service) for breakfast. Heard the restaurant too is fab of high quality although we didn’t hv the opportunity to eat there ( always fully booked) Staff so very helpful and an absolute pleasure loved they were all Portuguese, efficient, kind and warm. Outstanding Konfiterei/ bakery within the hotel Fantastic new balcony to catch that morning sun ☀️

pity there’s no immersion water element pool jacuzzi etc - it is necessary after a two-option great sauna.

From A to Z a wonderful experience! Friendly reception, super rooms with plenty of space, the food was exceptional from breakfast to dinner and the staff couldn’t do enough to make sure the holiday was enjoyable. From start to finish, from reception to dining room the service was top!

Friendly, modern but keeping with tradition. Arven wooden rooms smell awesome. Breakfast is super nice with all the fresh bread directly from the bakery.

The room was super cozy, nicely decorated (as the whole hotel), really clean. The hotel has an awesome wellness area with three saunas, a chill space with tea, water, and little snacks, plus an amazing view. Breakfast was included, and had a variety of delicious bread from their own bakery which is also worth visiting, as it offers some unique creations. Apart from bakery, there is also a very nice restaurant. The hotel is in a great spot, right by public transport (bus connection to the railway station and neighboring villages), shops, and the whole Engadin cross-country trail network, easy to reach on foot or by bus. They also have a skiing and waxing room, perfect for any cross-country skier. The owners and staff are super friendly, always there to help out with info or suggestions.

It’s nicely furnished hotel, with friendly staff, excellent service - they washed my skiing clothes overnight free of charge. Breakfast is excellent.

Room was small, at least smaller than expected. If you take half-board, it is for whole stay. I’d prefer it on daily basis.

Hotel Albris deserves its excellent reputation. Reception staff were extremely helpful and answered our every question in beautiful English. Location is wonderful. Transfer to and from the railway station was very efficient. We visited the bakery also run by the proprietors daily to get provisions before setting off to explore the area.

the hotel itself is quite nice. they were very welcoming and extremely helpful in assisting us and picking us up from train station. they gifted us bread and cookies as well. the restaurant is very good if a bit pricey. breakfast was very good.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel, including the unusual balcony off of the (very spacious bathroom). We also had a wonderful dinner there.

It was quite the uphill walk from the train station! We should have taken a taxi.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, large and clean room, excellent location close to shops and public transport; fabulous breakfast and delicious restaurant. Overall a great stay, highly recommended.

My room was lovely with a lot of beautiful wood. The front desk were wonderful. There is a walking trail right beside the hotel and a bus stop very close to the hotel. The hotel restaurant was very good and there was even a bakery.

We stayed at the start of a multi-day hiking trip, and appreciated the locations a short walk from the train station and various shops. The room was comfortable, and the hotel staff worked to make sure we had a great stay. I also highly recommend the hotel’s restaurant; the fish menu is perfect for someone who wants to try as much as possible. Breakfast was also excellent (you benefit from the hotel’s affiliation with the bakery).

Wonderful stay at a cosy hotel. Staff were fantastic and the town itself was lovely, very picturesque.

Leider hatten wir Pech beim Frühstückspersonal. Anstatt morgens begrüsst zu werden, wurden wir ziemlich garstig und unverzüglich nach der Zimmernummer gefragt.. als dürften wir uns sonst auf keinen Fall in diesem Raum aufhalten....... in Schweizerdeutsch hat sie die Zimmernummer nicht verstanden... anstatt jedoch nochmals nachzufragen, hat sie uns ziemlich frech belächelt und meinte, dass es diese Zimmernummer gar nicht gebe.... am nächsten Morgen lief es leider fast genau gleich... Sonst war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und das Hotel ist sehr schön!

I visited with my two young kids (2 and 10) and we had an amazing visit to the Pontresina area. Hotel Albris set the tone for our time. Food was delicious. Beds amazingly comfortable. Staff was kind and delightful. Can't say enough good things about it.

Ich war nur für eine Nacht im Hotel Albris. Schönes Einzelzimmer mit grosszügigem Bad (Dusche, WC). Restaurant war leider ausgebucht, so kann ich darüber nichts sagen. Personal an Reception ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wäre auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet.

The owners and staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic as it is close to the bus stop. The bakery is definitely a huge plus. On of my favourite things was the freshly squeezed oranges at breakfast.

I recommend the Hotel Albris with great warmth. My room, a small single, was very comfortable and quiet. The quality of both the food, especially the baked goods, and of the service was exceptional. I very much appreciated the hotel's supplying a card that gets you transportation all over the area (e.g., on the Languard chairlift). The spa area on the first floor was beautiful and serene. During my three days at the hotel (and perhaps this was anomalous), I was struck by how elderly the other guests were; I'm 54 and felt like a blushing youth. This didn't bother me in the least, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel for exciting nightlife. In positive terms, if you're an older person who likes to eat delicious food in a hushed dining room with other people your age, this is your place!

We stayed at Hotel Albris for just one night in June. This hotel was the best we stayed at during our 3 week tour of Europe! Spacious room, CLEAN and a beautiful view out the window. Also, the breakfast was to die for! So many choices. Doesn't hurt that the hotel is on top of a bakery/chocolate shop either. Wonderful, caring staff that let us hang out in part of the restaurant before our train because it was raining. Really regretted not staying longer here.

This boutique hotel is run by the most wonderfully friendly, hospitable people. We wanted to rent electric mountain bikes, and they said no need. We have two. They were such fun to use to explore Ste Moritz and Val Roseg. Breakfasts are plentiful and so tasty as the breads and pastries are made in house. Unforgettable experience!

My husband and I enjoyed a marvelous couple of days here. The staff were so wonderful. The breakfast pastries and bread are baked onsite, and our delicious! Ask to borrow the electric mountain bikes to explore Ste Moritz and the Val Roseg.

Séjour très agréable et service impeccable. Le personnel est très aimable. Les chambres sont joliment aménagées et les lits très confortables. Magnifique buffet pour le petit déjeuner. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cet établissement et reviendrons assurément.

Perfect hotel to stay in winter

Ottimo hotel, con parcheggio privato. Standard molto alto, camere in legno tipiche della zona. Pasticceria e ristorante meritano una menzione. Bellissima esperienza

OK. So now we are starting to understand how the hotels in the Engadine work, as we hike town to town. And we are starting to realize that this is the way to go! And this hotel is the perfect place to base your vacation! What a treat it is! A warm welcome when we arrived (how do they know who we are???), plus the clerk showed us around the restaurant and walked us to our room. Our room was small, but I know they have larger ones, for when we return and want to stay longer! So we went to the restaurant for dinner - of course they knew who we are and took us to "our" table. We had our choice of 2 or 3 things for each of 4 courses, and it was all great! Returning for breakfast, we were told to go to our table - it was then that I suddenly "Got" how this whole half-board thing worked! (Hate to say this, but the husband was still clueless as to which table was "ours"!!) Then we talked to people who had been coming back to this place for 10 years and finding things to do/hike every year! This is THE place! We would definitely return here! Oh! And there is a Bakery and Candy store in the lobby - what could possibly be wrong with that?!?!?

We loved the sembra pine decorated room and the comfortable beds. Everything was very clean and well-arranged and we enjoyed staying here very much. The breakfasts were amazing, with everything one could want, and staff that was friendly and helpful. It was marvelous having the Konditorei attached to the hotel--one could smell the aromatic bread baking in the wee hours of the morning! The offerings at the restaurant were fabulous. We ate there two evenings, and we all agreed they were two of the best meals we had ever eaten. The front desk was so helpful, and the tins of shortbread given to us upon departure ensured that we continued to have lovely remembrances of our stay for several days afterward. The offer of a shuttle ride to the train station is a big plus. We loved our stay here and everyone who made it what it was. This is a wonderful hotel, in a wonderful location, and we enjoyed our stay here tremendously.

The Hotel Albris is our favorite place to stay in Pontresina. The hotel is lovely, especially the charming dining room for hotel guests, and the outdoor patios. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the service is excellent. The food is some of the best we’ve had in the Engadine. We will definitely be back!

Beautifully appointed hotel, attentive staff, lovely rooms and modern bathroom. Perfect location in the heart of Pontresina. Delicious buffet breakfast and a nice choice on the a la carte menu for dinner. Pick up from railway station on request.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Albris, and fully intend to return there on our next trip to Pontresina. The room was great, the food excellent, particularly the bread from their bakery. Pontresina has a wealth of activities, made easier by the transportation pass provided by the hotel.
