The room was clean, comfortable and the balcony view was incredible. The staff were welcoming, friendly and super helpful. I paid for breakfast for two of the days and they bring it to your room which I loved! Location is great, loads of restaurants nearby and a short walk to the beach!

Nothing negative to say, I would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to Nice!

Very comfy beds and helpful staff

Elevator can't take big luggage so we had to go up and down many times while checking in and out. We had bike boxes as we were doing ironman and those things are heavy to carry for 4 floors

拥有漂亮的阳台而且楼层较高视野较好，地理位置相当好，距离海边近，距离尼斯老城也近，离火车站也不是很远坐车非常方便。stuff非常热心，早饭也很不错。 尼斯天气非常热，这个位置可以随时回来避暑。 酒店楼下非常热闹人很多，所以到了晚上回来也很安全。

I LOVED this hotel. I will be returning the next time I travel to Nice. I was traveling alone for the first time, and it was also my first time in Nice for 3 days. I felt extremely safe during my stay as there were 2 points of locked entry with codes, and the concierges were very attentive throughout the day. My room was quiet, comfortable, clean, and SO beautiful. I booked a balcony room, the view was so nice and the location was just perfect. Location was even better than I imagined. There were several restaurants and shops around the hotel, and less than a 5min walk to the beach. The woman at the desk when I checked in (at 2pm) gave me several recommendations for dining and activities and gave me a map of the city for reference. They also had beach towels to use and products in the bathroom if needed. Honorable mention for the A/C which worked so well (lol).

The bed was a bit harder than I prefer, but overall not horrible, just not the most comfortable personally. but everything else was extremely comfortable and roomy. The front desk is closed 12pm-2pm and at night 8pm-8am. I didn't have any issues with this but thought it was relevant to note!

Stedet hadde en tipp topp beliggenhet, utrolig hyggelig personale, og rommene var høyt oppe, om man kunne se ned på gaten og himmelen. Rommet var godt isolert mot gaten, det var en god gate med noe lyd.

Rommet var svært lytt og man kunne høre mye fra naborommet, men det gikk fint for oss.

Perfekt plassering i byen, kort til gamlebyen og strandpromenaden. Hyggelig personale. Ok rom.

Trangt for tre personer i ett tremannsrom. Skulle gjerne hatt mulighet for å plassere koffertene på stativer eller lignende. Det manglet frokostrom. Det var ikke plass til å spise frokost på tremannsrommet vi leide. Inngangspartiet og oppgangen fra første etasje til fjerde etasje er skjemmende for hotellet og er direkte shabby. Det luktet vondt i oppgangen . Heisen var trang.

Great staff very helpful and kind - gave us towels for the beach. VERY clean! Probably one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Great location right in central Nice. The hotel is directly next to so many shops, cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Huge terrace outside with chairs and a table. Amazing air conditioning which was so needed during the heat wave we were experiencing at the time. Made it so much more comfortable to sleep and relax in the room.

If you have mobility issues or are a larger person - the elevator is very small (as it’s an older building this is very common) and there are 4-5 flights of stairs to get up to the hotel on the top floor. Unfortunately, the mattress was quite hard and the pillows were lumpy which was not very comfortable for sleeping. If you are a light sleeper you may hear some noise at night or in the morning since the walls are quite thin and there are quite a few rooks directly next to each other - I didn’t find it too bad though. The shower door opened just enough to fit through it, but if you are a larger person you will have trouble getting in and out of it as well as moving around within it.

La ubicación es inmejorable. La habitación con terraza tiene vistas muy buenas. El trato del personal de conserjería es excelente, cuyo horario es hasta las 20 horas. Por suerte Jean Louis nos ayudó a subir las maletas y bajarlas a nuestra retirada.

Se anuncia que tiene heladera y solo tiene un pequeño frigobar que apenas enfría. También se anuncian canales de cable y no tiene ni cable ni streaming, el televisor e viejo solo se pueden ver los canales de antena en francés. La mesa de comedor es una pequeña mesa puente de unos 20 cm de ancho ya que la habitación es sumamente pequeña. El primer día no hicieron la limpieza de la habitación ni tendieron la cama. Solo cambiaron las toallas. El hotel está en un cuarto piso al que llegas por ascensor pero las habitaciones nro 7 al 14 incluida tienen un piso por escalera con escalones sumamente irregulares y pequeños pero alfombrados. Por último los productos de tocador (como es usual en Europa) son de mala calidad ya que es el mismo producto para lavarse el cuerpo y el pelo, sin acondicionador para el cabello.

The room had a beautiful terrace and the reception staff was very helpful.

The elevator was a bit hot and small for even two people. The building had a smell on one of the days from when we went down the stairs.. potentially of garbage from other units in the building.

Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage – mitten im Zentrum und direkt an der Fußgängerzone. Der Strand ist ebenfalls nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Das Hotel befindet sich im 4. Stock. Ein Aufzug ist vorhanden, allerdings ist dieser sehr klein und schmal. Mein Zimmer lag direkt zur Fußgängerzone. Dadurch hört man den Lärm von der Straße, besonders nachts. Mit Ohropax lässt sich das jedoch gut lösen. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Der Aufenthalt hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

The staff, especially Jean-Louis, was very helpful and friendly. He has high knowledge in the tourism sector and recommended many good places to visit. The location of the hotel is strategic and close to everything. As for the cleanliness, the hotel is very clean and renovated.

The accommodation fully meets the criteria for a two-star hotel. The four-person room had two separate areas, and our family fit comfortably inside. Both sleeping areas had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the intense heat. Barbara, the receptionist, welcomed us very warmly and provided us with helpful advice on shops, restaurants, and transportation. Whenever we needed anything, she was always ready to help. It was a treat to look out from the balcony onto the bustling walking street in the evenings, especially when the French national soccer team’s matches were broadcast on TV and the restaurants were packed with fans. 🙂 We didn’t order breakfast, but at a great bakery (Armand) just 80 meters from Hotel Solara, we always found delicious pastries and sandwiches.

A little more storage space (shelves, closet) would have been nice for our clothes and shoes.

This is the second year we have stayed with Solara. We love the location and the staff are very friendly.

The only issue is the noise from other guests in and out early in the morning. The walls are thin and the doors have noisy keys with big Keyrings. If you don’t have any problems sleeping then this is a great hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Solara was excellent! It had a great location, friendly, helpful staff, and a nice, clean room. Fast free WiFi, cool AC, and a small elevator were all very helpful. We enjoyed relaxing in the evening on the terrace.

Because of the central location, it can be noisy at night, which could be an issue for light sleepers.

Wonderful little hotel. Our room had a huge terrace with a great view where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. Very friendly and welcoming staff--much nicer than any other place I have stayed in Nice.

The pillow was a little hard, but after some mushing became more comfortable :D. Otherwise all was good.

The location was perfect, we didn't except the room would have a nice balcony with a very romantic view to the mountains and the street underneath, and also without compromising our privacy at all. Jean-Louis at the reception was exceptional, took all the time of the world to explain us Nice with map in hand and very open to our own recommendations of what to do in the city. The room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We were able to leave our luggage in the reception for a few hours after check out to fit our departing flight which was awesome as well. We would 100% recommend this Hotel.

Персонал очень дружелюбен и приветлив. Комната была очень чистой и очень удобной, мне хватало места делать зарядку по утрам. Завтрак приносили прямо в номер в оговоренное время и это было очень мило. Посуда для завтрака красивая и мне хватало круассана с маслом и джемом, может кому то будет мало. И они убирают номер каждый день, но мне было не нужно и я решила отказаться, всего три дня там была

Стены между номерами очень тонкие, все слышно Я провела две ночи в тишине и уж думала что это будет мой отель для постоянной остановки так как я собираюсь часто приезжать в Ниццу, но в последний вечер заселилась пара в соседний номер, они были такие шумные это просто ужас, женщина смеялась так громко. К 12 ночи они так и не собирались становиться тише и я постучала в их номер чтобы попросить вести потише, у меня был самолет в 8 утра и я хотела хоть немного нормально поспать. Мужчина вроде как меня понял и согласился что они будут тише, но женщина решила что ей на все пофиг и продолжала смеяться и громко говорить потом она вообще решила стонать. Я не представляю как выдержать если в соседнем номере будут заниматься половым актом. В общем из-за стен этот отель вышел из списка отелей в который я вернусь несмотря на все его остальные плюсы. Сон важнее всего!

De ligging van het hotel is ideaal, in het centrum en dicht aan het strand. De kamer was netjes en aangenaam. Het terras was heerlijk en echt een pluspunt.

As soon as we arrived at Hotel Solara we were immediately greeted by a lovely lady! She was very helpful in providing us some restaurant recommendations and explaining what we should explore. The location was 10/10 with restaurants at your doorstep. The noise didn’t affect us.

Room was a bit small for 3 people but we knew that when we booked. Still manageable didn’t affect our great experience.

Das Hotel liegt im vierten und fünften Stock eines Altbauhauses, was an sich einen Charme hat. Aber der Lift ist so extrem klein, dass man fast weiß, wie man darin fahren soll. Wer Klaustrophobie hat, der läuft und braucht kein Fitnessstudio. Vor das Hotel fahren und ausladen geht in diesem Fall nicht. Es ist eine absolute Fußgängerzone. Parkhäuser sind in der Nähe.

Pobyt w tym hotelu spełnił w pełni moje oczekiwania. Największym atutem obiektu jest jego rewelacyjne położenie – wszędzie można dojść pieszo, zarówno do Promenady Anglików, jak i do komunikacji miejskiej oraz ogromnej liczby restauracji i kawiarni w okolicy. Drugim ogromnym plusem jest fantastyczny, bardzo przyjazny i zawsze pomocny personel. Obsługa jest uśmiechnięta i zaangażowana, co zdecydowanie podnosi komfort pobytu i robi świetne wrażenie. Pokoje były codziennie sprzątane, ręczniki regularnie wymieniane. Sam pokój nie należy do największych, ale jest bardzo czysty i funkcjonalny – idealny na krótki pobyt. Dodatkowym atutem jest przyjemny taras, na którym można wieczorem usiąść i odpocząć. Podsumowując – same superlatywy. Jeżeli ponownie wybiorę się do Nicei, z pewnością zatrzymam się w tym hotelu!:-)

The location was perfect. A short walk from restaurants, the old town the beach and the train station. The room itself was a great size and the bed was really comfortable and the view from the window / balcony was excellent. When I arrived the staff were extremely friendly, and helpful and gave me plenty of handy tips about what restaurants were good and what attractions to visit.

The bathroom was really small. Not really a criticism, as it did the job admirably, but it was pretty tight in there hahaha.

・ベッドのスプリングが強めなのか、夫が寝返りを打つとその振動が伝わってきて、何度か夜目が覚めてしまいました。

Location was excellent, room extremely clean and Barbara at reception was very helpful. The room was practical and enough space for a short stay and surprisingly quiet at night other than some bin collections which was amazing for such a busy location. Best reached from the airport by number 12 bus and this is very convenient 5 minute walk away from Congress bus stop although from the airport it is from near Terminal 1 and we landed at Terminal 2 so needed to get a free Tram number 2 hop between terminals. The selling point is the location as it is right in the restaurant hub, near the lovely patisserie Armand and the promenade is just a 5 minute walk with the old town around 10 - 15 minutes away. I selected the hotel based on reviews and I can see how it gets a score over 8 due to the prices of other hotels in Nice, as it offers an affordable package and it is clearly marked 2 star which is probably a bit harsh but see the limitations below. We had breakfast one morning served by the wonderful Barbara and it was lovely but with Armand Patisserie a few doors down and good value it is a good alternative and it is top notch for soaking up the atmosphere. Train station was about a 15-20 minute walk and we used this to go to St Paul's Vence and 655 bus from Cagnes Sur Mer and that all worked well and there is another cheaper option of using the bus number 12 to CAP3000 and number 9 to Vence but apparently the 400 bus has stopped. The train line of course gives unlimited access to the coast another positive of the Hotel location. WiFi worked okay most times just occasional slow but not an issue.

The room was on the 4th floor and I don't use lifts unless a last resort and the stairs was testing at first and I would not advise anyone with walking difficulties or claustrophobic. The stairs are steep and lift can only take 2 people or one with luggage but my wife was happy to use it and after 90000 steps in three days the stairs became fine for me as my fitness improved. The shower is incredibly tiny and I could actually believe some people might struggle to use it and the bath towels were smaller than what we are used to. The walk up the stairs isn't particularly inviting with marked walls and exposed wires and it needs a general tidy up but I assume that is for the landlord not the Hotel. I do like to keep abreast of the news and the only English speaking TV Channel (CNN news) didn't work which was a shame.
