Dor-Shada Resort By The Sea

Room was very nice with sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Food at the restaurant on the beach was very average. The breakfast on the Sunday was poor quality and not enough staff to service and to replenish items that had been consumed already. On Monday we went elsewhere for breakfast.

Weite Wege bis zur Straße hoch. Man kann sich aber vom Golf Car bis Schranke hoch fahren lassen. . entlang der Sukumvit bis zu den nächsten Lokalen läuft man dann aber etwas weiter

De tuin en het zwembad zijn heel erg mooi, hier is heel veel aandacht aan besteed en kun je heerlijk ontspannen. Geen geluidsoverlast, het was ook erg rustig tijdens ons verblijf.

De kamer was duidelijk aan vernieuwing toe. Het stonk naar riool. Na enig aandringen een andere kamer gekregen, deze was vernieuwd maar rook erg muf, wel beter dan de eerste kamer. Het ontbijt is een vreetschuur. Sommigen vinden dit fantastisch, ik vind het een nachtmerrie. Het eten moet je hier gewoon niet doen. Alles is ingericht voor massa en vooral Russen. Wij hadden er 14 dagen authentiek Thailand op zitten en dit was een afsluiter, nog even relaxen aan het strand voordat we naar huis gingen. Hier vind je niks authentieks in de buurt, maar voor een dagje strand en/of zwembad is het prima.

Food options really poor. No Thai or international feeling. You end up in a Russian community. Hard to find a lounge chair, all taken super early by the same people everyday.

everything, quiet location, top class service. the hotel has everything that is needed. There is a 7 eleven outside the main gate, the pool is great and very relaxing, the breakfast was great and a wide variety of food served. Spa was amazing!

It was a little bit far from town but not inaccessible, and easy enough to get a tuk tuk or Grab.

The atmosphere around the pool and on the beach is really relaxing. AC works really well. Room size is spacious enough for the family.

The bathroom deco and layout are outdated and not kept up very well. There was water leaking out from shower to the dry area. No space/shelves to put your own toiletries if you brought some.

Good price, good breakfast. It was right on the beach.

No smart TV’s , they definitely need to upgrade those and get bigger TV’s! There were no complimentary slippers.

Nice and elegant pool, however there is way to low amount of sunbeds. People are blocking them with towels and do not spend a minute there because they block more beds in the beach. Noone cares.

We spent many years in Thailand in different locations and hotels. We love Thai people. They are always very kind and respectful, but not here. Together with catastrophic hotel services this is a Picture of the hotel management. During check in they told we can not go to the room eventhough we paid for that. They did not know. They POINT the direction to our room. Simply go somewhere and find it. No service at all. The room was smelly and the toilet was constantly broken. Main scam of this hotel was the new years eve dinner. 3500 baht per person. Food was terrible, program was not as announced, they did not even serve the tables, we had to go and order. I do not want to comment the singer. If you want to commit suicide i will send you video. The only fun had one employee and his friend, who was way to personal to guests and both of them were drunk. At least someone on the party. The bar on the beach did not have constantly more than half of the menu. They barely speak english and do not expect the typical Thai approach. It is not fault of the employees, this is super amaterous management and they should be ashamed. This is definetely on of the worst hotel we have ever been to and if you want to experience nice Thai holidays, choose any other hotel in the neigbourhood - we tried them and they were fine. Just to be clear - we spent 8 nights in Dor-Shada, this is not one day experience. Stay away from this place until they change the manager.

It’s at the end of Jomtien beach, need transport to the main beach area, 4 miles. Only a few sun loungers so had to go in taxi to the main beach. Please book a taxi in advance

Dobré čisté pokoje, dobré postele. Pěkný bazén. Celkem dobrá snídaně. Good clean rooms, comfortable beds. Nice pool. Quite good breakfast.

Netekla teplá voda ve sprše v pokoji, nefungovalo wifi, nedostatek lehátek u bazénu i na pláži. Personál ne vždy zrovna ochotný. Restaurace na pláži velmi podprůměrná. V hotelu většinou klientela z Ruska, u snídaně se musíte dívat na srpy a kladiva na tričkách hostů. There was no hot water in the shower in the room, wifi didn't work, lack of sunbeds by the pool and on the beach. Staff not always very helpful. Restaurant on the beach very below average. The hotel has mostly Russian clientele, at breakfast you have to look at the communist symbols on the guests' shirts.

Geweldige plek buiten de drukte. Fantastisch zwembad. Leuk strand met klein barretje. Heerlijke plek.

Ontbijt was prima. Aandachtspunt is dat aantal onderdelen niet warm worden gepresenteerd of warm gehouden. Verder prima. Verder uitstekende service.

Fantastischer Pool, toller Strand, viel Platz und schöner Blick im Zimmer der obersten Etagen. Das Hotel hat ein bisschen den Charakter einer Tempelanlage und dadurch vielmehr Atmosphäre als die modernen Hotels der Gegenwart

Die ganze Anlage vom Haupteingang bis zum Pool war sehr schön gestaltet, eine tolle Architektur. Überall gab es unterschiedliche Sitzgelegenheiten am Pool. Es gab sogar mittags noch ausreichend Liegen am Strand und am Pool. Zum relaxen sehr empfehlenswert. Das Frühstück war auch für uns in Ordnung mit allerlei Auswahl. Nicht unbedingt europäisches Essen aber dafür ist man ja schließlich auf Reisen und das was es gab, war sehr lecker. Der Service war auch sehr gut. Wir fragten nach etwas weicheren Kissen und Topper für die doch sehr harten Matratzen und noch am selben Tag bekamen wir diese auch. Es gibt ein Golfcar mit dem man sich zur Hauptstraße bringen lassen kann bzw von dort abholen kann. Dadurch dass das Hotel eine lange Zufahrtsstraße hat, ist vom Lärm der vielbefahrenen Straße nichts zu hören. Dort gibt es links gleich einen 7eleven. Zum auswärts Essen, hat man rechts am Strand entlang ein paar Strandlokale mit leckeren Fischgerichten, die wir für thailändische Verhältnisse aber recht teuer empfanden. Man läuft aber ca 20- 30 Minuten bis dorthin. Direkt außerhalb vom Hotel gibt es nichts großartiges zu sehen. Zu den Restaurants, Massagen, und kleinen Läden muss man auch ca 1 km laufen, da man die Straße nicht überqueren kann. Es gibt nur eine Überführung links ca 1 km entfernt. Da ist das Essen dann auch günstiger als am Strand. Im Hotel haben wir das Abendessen nicht getestet. Aber es wird Essen an der Strandbar angeboten. Für eine Woche am Strand zum lelaxen war das Hotel sehr ansprechend. Der Strandabschnitt war sehr schön.

Die Zimmerreinigung war während unseres Aufenthaltes in Ordnung. Jedoch beim Einzug waren noch viele Spuren von dem vorherigen Gästen zu sehen. In der Dusche klebten noch einige Haare und am Spiegelschrank waren noch Rückstände von Zahnpasta zu sehen. Ebenso auf dem Balkon. Abgesehen davon war es ein entspannter und angenehmer Aufenthalt. Was wir nicht bedacht hatten bei der Buchung, war die Tatsache, dass man in die Innenstadt von Pattaya ca 15-20 Minuten mit dem Auto braucht. Wir haben uns dann immer eine Taxi über eine "bekannte" App bestellt.

Beautiful traditional Thai style hotel with great beach-front. Well decorated throughout. Beautiful pool with some welcome shade. Very spacious rooms. Obviously not new, but with cachet and keeping up well. Reasonably priced. Well positioned between the many budget alternatives and soul-less dearer options catering to new money. One of the best restaurants in Pattaya just across the street. This is the Thailand we love.

Gutes Hotel mit sehr großen Zimmern die auch im Stil des Hauses eingerichtet sind.. Die Badezimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen aber funktionieren.. Frühstücken ist reichhaltig Continental und Thai für Europäer könnte mehr Brotauswahl vorhanden sein. Die Außenanlagen sind toll mit einem sehr großen Pool sowie einen grossen flachen für Kinder, gutes Fitness Studio wers braucht sowie Wellnessbereich (Massage) was ebenfalls am Pool möglich ist. Strand ist sauber und ausreichend Liegen (überrdacht, Schatten) Wasser ist nicht so klar für schnorcheln nicht geeignet.

grosszügige, saubere Zimmer die jedoch ein wenig ins alter gekommen sind. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Swimmingpool und Strand (Sand) sehr schön, nur leider war das Wasser (Meer) bei dieser Küstenabschnitt nicht so toll.

staffs were friendly and tried to service their best but...not that level yet. room was big but felt empty.

Arrived at the hotel around 19:00 — the atmosphere was dark and quite depressing. The entrance to the room was through a tiny, hidden lift which felt a bit unsafe. The room itself was poorly maintained, with wooden furniture that looked worn out and neglected. Amenities were of very cheap quality. Check-out was unusually strict, as if we were trying to steal their low-quality items — including a flimsy pair of flip-flops which the maid could not find them in the beginning and later reported that found them in the drawer, which I didn't put them there. I think it was a ghost hahaha.., I wouldn’t even take them if they were free! yet they insisted on checking for them Overall, the hotel could have charm if it received serious, ongoing maintenance — but at this point, it feels like it's far past saving.

It meets my expectations, and even exceeded them in amenities and comfort. It's quiet and peaceful. Location is excellent--if you value beach access. Rooms are spacious and adequately soundproof.

The breakfast could be improved, just a bit. I found the pineapples were unripe on most mornings, compared to a same-level hotel in the neighborhood (where I stayed about 2 weeks prior)--which had excellent breakfast items. The showers were a bit finicky--one second it would be nicely warm, the next scorching hot at max pressure, almost painful, but manageable once you get the hang of it.

Only 2 hours from Bangkok. Beautiful pool with beachfront access from the hotel. Large rooms. Kind and friendly staff. Access to pool from the poolside rooms with a beautiful daybed on the large verandah.

Some room features are a little run down but this is offset by the beautiful pool.

The location is great, Pattaya but not actually in Pattaya. Teh resort is pretty and the rooms are big. Big enough to put a bunk bed in for kids. Too many hotels are too focused on the Chinese only having one kid. We have 2. So, it's great that the rooms are big enough and the you can accomodate people with kids withotu needing to get two rooms. Our kids are a bit too young for that and so in other hotels it means we get two rooms and I stay with my son, while my wife stays with my daughter. I would rather stay with my wife. Alos, good breaklfast and decent dinner.

Sometimes the Dor Shada doesn't really finish the job. Our room had a water leak in it above the bathtub. Since it leaked into the tub, we didn't want to move. However, someone shoud have fixed it or at least noticed it before we got there. This isn't Dor Shada's fauilt, but the sea has quite a few small jellyfish, so always small stings. Beach is clean though!

Lovely poolside rooms with daybed on the balcony. Beautiful large pool. Staff remembered us from a stay several months earlier.

What a beautiful hotel. The staff were so kind and attentive. I stayed here with my husband, and my brother and his wife. It was just so perfect. The pool really is something else, it is amazing. I fully intend to return here in the future. Everything was so clean, the pool, gardens, and the rooms. Thank you for making it so special.

The swimming pool was the best I have ever seen.

The breakfast could have had a little more choice. Boiling water to make tea would have been nice. These are very minor points and in no way spoiled the holiday. I would come back here again, and so would the party that I was travelling with.

Space was good. Nothing is cropped in. Reception stuff very helpfull and friendly.

Distance to town/city is 30 minutes by taxi. Taxi charge any rate. 400-800 Bath per single trip. Goggle suggest 156B. That is big problem with transport in Pattaya - taxi drivers.

The hotel is beautiful and also the pool is beautiful and clean and well maintained, very quiet location, good for small family holiday to get away from everything and the long beach .

The breakfast is a let down for 5 stars hotel seem not many options or I can say no options at all.

Room absolutely smells ! Something between sewage and an old church! AC was super loud. Couldn't sleep in the room at all. Main issue was smell. Not many of staff speak basic English. I am talking water, beer kinda words. Overall I wish I booked elsewhere. Also, bathrobe super small sized.
