Only two elevators for the entire hotel, so there can be a wait. The pool area is a bit small and can get noisy with children. There aren’t enough covered sun loungers, which is a limitation during the rainy season.

The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, and all the facilities were top-notch. Truly an exceptional experience in every way.

Very beautiful hotel, very comfortable rooms with very good beds. Breakfast was excellent and location was very central. the view from the rooms is not very appealing but for the rest only very positive experiences.

An excellent hotel and a wonderful stay. The rooms were fantastic, and the sleeping experience was truly exceptional — the bed, pillows, duvet and linens were absolutely perfect, probably one of the best hotel beds we’ve ever slept in. The pool is great, the gym is clean and pleasant, and the rooftop is amazing. But what really stood out was the service — everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. Even after we checked out and were already at the airport, we realized we had left medication in the room that needed to be kept refrigerated. The hotel immediately helped us and sent it by taxi all the way to the airport, carefully kept cold. That is truly service above and beyond. Highly recommend Meliá Chiang Mai. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Meliá Chiang Mai. We stayed in a The Level Suite, and the room was amazing – beautifully designed, very clean, spacious, and quiet. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The hotel staff were wonderful – very helpful, friendly, and always smiling. The location is also perfect. The hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the Night Bazaar. We really loved being so close to everything, but at the same time not being right in the middle of all the noise and crowds. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Chiang Mai!

Exceptionnel tout était au top. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et bien entretenues. Personnel au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et très bon. Le kids dol est paradisiaque pour les enfants il y a Tout. Les piscines sont géniale. Bref rien à redire

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was huge with extremely comfortable beds. Lovely breakfast and the swimming pool was a big hit with the kids.

The breakfast is absolutely unique and a must do. This is by far the best one I had in all my hotel. Soup, omelette, thai, chinese or Korean food. Bakeries, fresh juices...everything was good. The kids club is also unique. The paradise for.kids. Pool is great, 1 free cocktail at the arrival...and staff very helpfull.

The hotel is simply amazing. The staff, pool, room and breakfast. The level room was really big. They made up a big bed for our 2 kids. The kingsize bed for us was really comfortable. The breakfast buffet was the best. You should book this hotel.

Melia Hotel Chiang Mai is a Super awesome hotel. Special mention to Fluke, our concierge. He’s attentive, detailed and always helpful with recommendations and our requests. Chang Mai quint city not too crowded enough varieties of activities, and interesting food for a short 4D3N trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Melia. The room was cozy; services were fantastic; from front door to reception, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant & bar. All staff were very warm & helpful. Special mention of Nui who checked us in with her warmth & cheerfulness. And the star of our service Fluke from Concierge who was there for us every day of stay, giving us advice, help with booking; he’s very attentive & super helpful. Also Erico, who served our table at Mai Restaurant; his brilliant smile & service made our dining experience such a joy. We were well taken care of. Thank you Melia!! But just wondering; why the hotel doesn’t have a service lift? 😅😅

I had such a great time staying at Melia Chiang Mai. They have such wonderful hospitality. I need to shoutout especially to 3 wonderful staff: Fluke (Concierge), Nui (Check-in reception) and Enrico (Mai Restaurant). They are so patient, attentive, friendly and helpful. Always ready to handle all our needs and requirements. Their professionalism is so much appreciated. They definitely make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable!!

We stayed in the The Level Suite at Meliá Chiang Mai for one night, from 16 to 17 July 2026. What we liked: Excellent location right next to the Night Bazaar, a flawless check-in experience that is normally only found in the ultra-luxury segment, beautiful rooms that are perfect for families, the best rooftop bar in Chiang Mai, and outstanding value for money. What you should know: The hotel has poor sound insulation, and the room doors do little to block noise from the corridor. The pool is small and was completely overcrowded with guests. We ended up leaving the pool area after just 15 minutes because it was simply too busy. At first glance, the hotel's design and facilities appear elegant and high-end. However, on closer inspection, parts of the construction and finishing reveal rather mediocre quality. It almost feels like a convincing movie set—impressive from a distance, but unable to withstand closer scrutiny. To be fair, the hotel offers excellent value for the price. However, you should be prepared to compromise on soundproofing and the pool experience.

提前12點到旅館，雖只有一房準備好，也讓我們先入住，早餐不錯，還有現壓果汁機。這次是跟小孩入住，下午回房時已鋪好沙發床，睡起來還蠻舒服，兒子162cm 也是ok.

冷氣聲音伴雜高頻噪音，跟櫃檯反應，雖說可幫忙換房，但因已入住一晚及必須跟家人分開至不同樓層就算了。

New hotel with well-set-up facilities. Great breakfast with fresh juice, Thai tea, and a variety of food choices.

The room is smaller than expected, and the ceiling is lower than at the typical hotel we stayed at before; my son can jump and touch the ceiling.... The swimming pool is small for the size of the hotel, and there are only two elevators for the whole hotel; it took a very long time to wait during rush hour.

We had a wonderful stay at Meliá Chiang Mai. The hotel is modern, stylish and very well maintained. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast offered an excellent variety of fresh and delicious food, and our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was also very convenient for exploring Chiang Mai.

The only minor issue was that the air conditioning in the public areas of the hotel was set extremely cold. A slightly warmer temperature would make the lobby and other common areas much more comfortable.

Lifts were tiny and smelly. Staff weren’t that friendly. I’m used to great hospitality from these hotels and locations but they didn’t go over and beyond. Breakfast buffet wa ms busy and slow to get eggs.

My daughter and I got massages at the spa. i got thai massage and my daughter got the well recovery body scrub and massage. Chay and Meaw were fantastic therapist!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our 2-year-old daughter, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The highlight of our experience was the check-in process. The Korean staff member who assisted us was exceptionally kind, professional, and incredibly attentive to detail. She didn’t just complete the check-in; she carefully explained the hotel facilities, gave us helpful tips for families with young children, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtful service made us feel genuinely welcomed and set the tone for a fantastic stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax with a toddler. We were also very impressed with the kids’ room, where our daughter had so much fun. The kids’ pool was another highlight—it was clean, safe, and perfect for young children. Our daughter absolutely loved spending time there, and it became one of the best parts of our trip. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to families traveling with young children. Thanks to the outstanding service, excellent family-friendly facilities, and warm hospitality, we would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit.

There's a wide spread for the breakfast, with different cuisine and they served it early. This is good for those who needs to travel for activities like visiting elephant sanctuary. The staff are very attentive to details and polite

We stayed in a Level Suite on the 20th floor as a family of four, and it was an excellent setup. The suite was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable, with two sofas converted into separate beds so each child had their own space. The bathroom was large and had a lovely bathtub. We were welcomed with fruit and macarons, and the room was generously restocked with drinking water every day. The staff were helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast and food options were very good, with access to the Level lounge on the 21st floor as well as the larger ground-floor buffet, which had plenty of choice and generally high-quality food. The location was also very convenient, right behind the Night Bazaar, with good restaurants nearby and a very nice affordable spa just across the street. The kids’ club was one of the best parts of the hotel for us. It was surprisingly large, modern, clean, and very well organized, with a ball pit, reading nook, napping room, dress-up area, Lego/bricks, painting room, air hockey table, PS5, arcade machines, and attentive staff. The pool area was also excellent, with a kids’ pool, slides, splash bucket, fountains, and very attentive pool staff. When one of the slide hoses broke, it was fixed by the next day, which showed a level of proactiveness we really appreciated.

There was very little we disliked. The hotel suited our family very well overall. The only minor point is that the Level lounge breakfast is smaller than the main buffet, so families who want the widest selection may prefer going downstairs. Otherwise, everything was comfortable, well maintained, and professionally run.

Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Chiang Mai. It is so central and being that close to the biggest night bazaar is a huge plus. It’s walkable and so close to everything. The hotel is so charming and beautiful. Everyone there is kind and helpful. I had the best stay and wish I had more time in Chiang Mai! The rooms are spacious for families. With that said, this hotel does have a lot of children. I think it’s perfect for families but can be noisy for couples.

Had a pleasant stay overall. Special thanks to Paphatsawan, Piyada and Pornphan for their prompt email replies and assistance with all my requests. Also thank you to Guitar, Barbie and Big for being so friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The hotel is in a convenient location and it was easy to get around using Grab. It would be even better if there were a convenience store nearby. A small area for improvement would be room cleanliness, as the room was a little dusty. The ceiling is also quite low in some areas, which may be a minor safety concern, although I understand this is part of the building’s design. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality from the team.

步行走巷子可至清邁觀光夜市，巷子有店但非明亮的觀光街道，若是女生的話建議晚上結伴同行。 飯店門口有連鎖按摩店，飯店設計美觀，房間舒適，健身房設備齊全，游泳池也不錯，還有脫水機可使用，早餐選項多樣，整體來說還行但不一定會回訪

廁所空間小，若兩個人在廁所會覺得有點擁擠的程度

This was my first time getting a massage at a spa. Maddy did a great job making me feel comfortable with the experience. She did not rush and I was able to ask her when to give more pressure and less pressure. I highly recommend. Ask for Maddy.
