Great staff, food and everything

it was gorgeous, clean, the breakfast was good, the staff was very kind.

it is a hard 3PM check in. i asked if they had any rooms available and i was even willing to pay to check in early as i just came off of a 30 hour flight and they were basically telling me to just sit in the lobby until 3PM which at a 5 star hotel is less than ideal. there also were no showers open to all hotel guests which is the entire reason i booked this hotel. i was doing a day tour the next day that was in the jungle and i knew i would want to shower and never in my life have i stayed at a 5 star hotel that didnt have a shower open to everyone. i paid almost 9,000 baht for one night here and they wanted me to pay more to use to upstairs room to take a shower which is open to suite guests only. i am 24 and a solo traveler, i did not need to book a suite nor should i have to at a hotel of this level. the location also isn’t the best and they offer shuttles to the night shows but its one way.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect, from the beautiful and clean rooms to the incredibly dedicated and friendly staff. The team was always helpful, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed every moment and had a fantastic experience. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. The pool with heated jacuzzi is also a plus. Upon check in, we were offered a complimentary afternoon tea, and they even gave us a parting gift when we checked out. Love that they have a dedicated halal menu.

Als ze een spa hadden gehad zou het een 10 zijn maar dat wisten we, dus eigenlijk viel niks tegen!

Schoon, mooi, voldoende faculteiten, vriendelijk personeel, top service. In het begin een probleem in onze kamer maar dit werd heel goed opgelost. Locatie is op loopafstand van de night market.

Lovely hotel Friendly attentive staff

Staff are attentive and I can tell they put a lot of effort in make sure the guest have a pleasance stay . The hot tub in the pool is a highlight

The pillow is too soft . And there is no shower facilities on the pool side , I had a late flight and hope to stay near the pool a little longer but can’t since there is no shower room there

The Club versus Tea versus the Pool bar offerings were a little odd for my Western taste and preferences. It was inconvenient to get a couple beers as part of our package.

Een geweldig hotel! Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het zwembad is geweldig met lekker eten, fijn ook dat het zoutwater is. De kamers zijn mooi en groot met een fijn balkon. Geen insecten!! :) ook leuke extra’s die je tijdens je verblijf krijgt.

De straat waarin het hotel zit is niet heel levendig. Dit was voor ons geen probleem omdat we alles met Grab deden en dit relatief goedkoop was. Het ontbijt is lekker maar je mist soms wat variatie op de menukaart als je er langer dan een week zit.

Everything worked in this hotel and the facilities are good, including the Dyson hairdryer! The staff are enthusiastic and eager to please. Special mention is deserved by Fang, who walked with us to our boat tour and explained the ritual of purchasing fish to return to the water for luck at the temple where the boat was moored. We stayed in a comfortable and very capacious suite with a balcony and pool view. Our suite was also quiet with no internal or external noise, a factor very which is important to us.

A small point is that the decor is not to my taste, certainly not offensive just bland with a slightly plasticky feel in contrast to hotels with more traditional materials and design. Also, the breakfast buffet was limited compared to other hotels although there was additional option to order a la carte. Neither of these factors would deter us from staying here again since in our view the Maladee has all basics right even if the price was higher than hotels offering more style and facilities such as a spa, for example.

Alles, echt alles! Van de kamer, tot het ontbijt tot het personeel. Alles is fantastisch aan dit hotel! Er hangt een relaxte ontspannen sfeer. Het personeel is onwijs vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De ontbijt is heerlijk! Je hebt een buffet en a la carte (en zelfs als je wat aanpassingen hebt dan onthouden ze dat de volgende dag). De kamer is heel ruim, super schoon en netjes en mooi. Het bed ligt ongelofelijk fijn en je hebt een pillow menu met verschillende kussens. In de avond wordt je kamer klaargemaakt voor het slapengaan en krijg je een relax drankje, echt heerlijk.

Everything about our stay here was lovely, we wouldn’t change a thing. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The amenities were great and the location was even better! Couldn’t recommend enough.

The attention to detail in this hotel is fantastic. The staff goes beyond to make you feel like a king. They adjust your room in the evening for sleep and gift you a different kind of fresh juice every day. Thailand's hospitality at its best.

We've traveled with our son and my father, we all had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was of very good quality,fresh, delicious, and well prepared every time. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is also a big plus: it’s within walking distance to the old town, yet not directly in it, so the atmosphere is peaceful and calm, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten ein Standardzimmer gebucht und waren äußerst begeistert. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir haben weder Straßenlärm noch Geräusche vom Nachbarzimmer mitbekommen. Die Minibar im Zimmer war inklusive und wurde täglich aufgefüllt. Das Frühstück war a la carte inklusive Kaffeespezialitäten und verschiedenen Teesorten. Zusätzlich gab es Buffet mit Obst, Salat, Toast, Gebäckteilchen, Joghurt und Käse/Aufschnitt. Nachmittags gab es von 14 bis 16 Uhr eine Teezeit (Kaffee stand auch zur Auswahl). Angeboten wurden zudem Kuchen und Obst. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich - einfach liebevoll. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und ruhig. Das war unser dritter Besuch in Chiang Mai. Der Aufenthalt im Maladee war für uns besonders und wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Everything! The pool, food, room, hospitality- everything at this hotel was 5 ⭐️ and we couldn’t fault anything! We had lovely complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea daily which was delicious and the service from all staff was the best I’ve ever had. Our room was so lovely, clean, big and luxurious that we really didn’t want to leave! I’ve never felt so sad about leaving a hotel Hotel is a short drive to the Old City and all sights. Great location!

The only thing we could ‘fault’ is that the TV isn’t a smart TV so you’re unable to watch Netflix etc

This is the second time for me to stay here and I highly recommend it. The staff were all wonderful and made our stay pleasurable experience. They responded to our need so efficiently and fast. The breakfast is not a buffer style but very good.

The quality of the coffee is not in par with the city of Chiang Mai home of excellent coffee.

Wir hatten einen ganz wundervollen Aufenthalt im Maladee. Das Personal ist wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück fehlt mir jetzt schon, die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die gesamte Anlage sehr sauber und es ist ruhig. Wir waren mit Baby da und auch mit unserem Sohn wurde sehr liebevoll umgegangen. Auch die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen - direkt beim Anusarn Market und fußläufig zur Old City. Besonders schön war auch der Nachmittagskaffee mit Kuchen, der inklusive war. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen.

Der Pool ist leider wirklich sehr kalt und für viele zu kalt zum schwimmen, aber dafür gibt es einen schönen Whirlpool.

This is a gorgeous small boutique hotel. It’s been open for just a few years. The restaurant for breakfast is so lovely and our room for a family of four with young adult children was fantastic and spacious. The pool and poolside bar are charming and the staff is amazing at every turn. Close to the night markets and some amazing food. Asusarn had the best Pad Thai of our trip so far!!!

This is picky but I hope helpful. I would have enjoyed better side tables next to the bed. The small stands that are used as side tables weren’t big enough to hold a book/ clock and glass of water. I also thought there needs to be a floor transition so the tile and bedroom flooring meet gradually. We were nervous about hitting in the dark.

De fantastische kamer. De vriendelijkheid van het personeel en hoe goed ze meedachten in alles! Het restaurant is ook super, zowel voor ontbijt, lunch als diner. We gaan zeker terug komen als we weer naar Chiang Mai afreizen.

Great boutique hotel. The breakfast is very nice. The location is good.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Maladee for our 35th wedding anniversary. We were excited after reading all the stellar reviews. Our stay did not disappoint and we can now understand why everyone loves the hotel so much. We do too. We were very kindly upgraded to a lovely large room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Our bed was beautifully dressed in honour of our anniversary, which was a lovely touch and a beautiful fruit basket. We loved the free mixers so you could make your own refreshing drinks. The daily afternoon tea was lovely and nice to come back to after sightseeing and breakfast was cooked to order in mini portions so you could try lots of things. Best cappuccino of our trip. The pool was gorgeous and not crowded. Best of all was the staff, who are all wonderful. Kind, interested and very helpful. We wished we had booked for longer and sadly the hotel was full but they very kindly drove us to our next hotel in their lovely red songtheaw and gave a great trip to visit a craft market, which we loved. We hope to stay again
