Amazing staff - so welcoming and happy to help with every aspect of your stay. Rooms, pool and garden beautiful and so well cared for and maintained. Family owned hotel and it shows, making the stay like a lovely oasis. Would gladly stay here again.

È stato un soggiorno perfetto. L'hotel è splendido, curato nei minimi dettagli, dal giardino, alla piscina, al wine bar, al cocktail bar, a un piccolo ristorante. Hanno persino una bellissima barca dell'hotel con cui si possono prenotare delle escursioni. Noi abbiamo fatto quella del mattino di 3 ore e quella ad aperitivo, super consigliate entrambe! La barca è davvero bella, il personale gentilissimo e l'esperienza veramente unica. Abbiamo usufruito anche del wine bar, del cocktail bar e del piccolo ristorante, tutto molto buono e ricercato. La piscina a sfioro con vista su Panarea e Stromboli è una cornice perfetta per rilassarsi e passare dei momenti bellissimi. Il personale dell'hotel è stato sempre molto gentile nel venirci incontro nelle nostre necessità, prenotandoci taxi ed essendo sempre a disposizione. Consiglierei tantissimo l'hotel, torneremo sicuramente!!

The property is stunning! Everything is well thought out from the general layout to the rooms to the different public areas to enjoy. The staff was incredibly professional and extremely helpful on every level. It’s very central to everything. You can rent e-bikes to get around the island but if you’re not comfortable, they will setup car services for you. The breakfast is cooked by Mrs. Revasi herself! Don’t forget to take advantage of the boat tour package that they offer. You will not regret it. We plan on coming back next year

We absolutely loved Hotel Ravesi! Before our stay, we read reviews from guests who said it was the highlight of their Sicilian vacation—and we agree 100%. Our entire family is already dreaming of returning. The family who owns the hotel is incredibly warm and welcoming, the grounds are stunning, and we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts and lunches. The owners also recommended several restaurants where we had truly special dinners. Hotel Ravesi is an unforgettable place! Wake up for the sunrise - it's worth it.:)

Tout était magnifique. La maison familiale reconvertie en hôtel est adossé à une ancienne église. Le jardin est splendide, les chambres belles et confortables. Le personnel est aux petits soins comme si chacun avait pour mission de rendre votre séjour féerique. J’ai adoré! Absolument tout dans cet établissement. De l’accueil au départ, le séjour était parfait. Merci à toute l’équipe!

We stayed at Hotel Ravesi for four nights and absolutely loved it. Lucie (hotel manager) and the entire team were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The hotel itself is so beautiful, with a peaceful garden full of little corners to discover, a stunning infinity pool, and incredible views over the sea towards Panarea and Stromboli. We stayed at Casa Clementina, which was a lovely quiet place to come back to after exploring the island. Malfa is such a lovely little town, with charming shops, restaurants and everything you need nearby. We enjoyed exploring the island, but also loved spending time at the hotel itself. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with homemade treats (prepared by Signora Ravesi) and local products. The sunset wine tasting was another unforgettable moment, with beautiful views, delicious Salina wines, and the most passionate sommelier. What really made our stay special was the incredible hospitality. The passion and kindness of the whole team made Hotel Ravesi feel like much more than just a hotel. We would already love to come back one day.

The view is out of this world! The staff for me are the winner for this Hotel, dining, bar and general cleaning staff are a tonic!! The wine sampling experience was excellent and to taste only Salina wine was a gem!!

Incredible gardens!! Property in immaculate condition.

Exceptional! The hotel grounds and the surrounding nature is unbelievably beautiful. The hotel had all the amenities we needed and was uncrowded and felt private. We enjoyed the breakfast and were very happy about the sunset boat tour they offer - we were the only guests on the boat, had a chance to swim and see the fish underwater, the captain was a very chill guy and the wine was very tasty. They also arranged our transfer from Taormina to the hotel (private car - hydrofoil - taxi) which was super convenient. Only regret is not staying longer!

The property is beautiful- incredible location and perfect views at every turn. Staff are kind, helpful and friendly. Facilities and additional activities to opt in are exceptional!

I won't go into too many words so as not to tire the readers, But a small spoiler - this is the best hospitality experience I've ever had in my life! Beyond the fact that the hotel is amazing in its beauty - the manicured gardens, the beautiful terraces, the pool that seems to spill into the sunset in the ocean, the nostalgic bar, the special food at breakfast, and the clean and well-kept rooms - beyond all of this, the great uniqueness of the hotel in my opinion is the service. The charming Ravesi family - from the mother of the family, to the children and the rest of the staff, all of them, without exception, are so helpful and welcoming that it's amazing to me. In every direction you look, you'll see someone smiling at you and asking if they can help you. A sense of service that I've never encountered before. I urge anyone coming to the island of Salina to book a room at the Ravesi Hotel and stay with this wonderful family!

We had a great stay in hotel Ravesi. Every thing was perfect. We loved the pool with its fabulous views of Stromboli. What really makes the hotel stand out is the team working here. Everyone we met so so helpful and kind.

We had a magical 5 nights here. It truly is a special, intimate, non-chain type little gem. The family's presence on site is a comfort. Superb, friendly team - each of them. We loved room 15, an outdoor suite, with huge patio, garden area. Attention to detail is superb. Must note, Mrs Ravesi's jams and cakes ... for breakfast ... exceptional. Thank you team. We have stayed here before, and because we loved it so much, we brought our daughter and her husband. They loved it, too…It is so beautifully maintained, with great vistas, a heated pool, excellent food, and authentic Sicilian cuisine. There is a fabulous outdoor library, with comfy couches and a great view of the Aolian sea. The nearby town is quaint, charming, and worth several excursions, just walking around. There are also serious hikes up the mountain for the more adventurous folks. The staff remembered us and greeted us like long lost friends. It is a place we hope to return to, again and again.

Everything was amazing! From the staff, communication, room to the views and location. Best food on island from what we had elsewhere! The hotel is run by a local noble family and you bump into different family members, the charm is how they value the identity being a malfanian even if the family is now scattered across Italy. There Russian frontdesk Nadia is a true expat, living on the island over 15 years and speaks Italian and English fluently. I particularly like the open air library and the garden with stairs. Not to mention the rimless swimming pool and free upgrade!

My wife and I just returned from two weeks in Sicily, and Hotel Ravesi may have been the most beautiful and most special place we have ever stayed. The hotel is stunning, but what makes Ravesi truly exceptional is the team. Nadia and the entire staff made us feel like family from the moment we arrived, which is a rare gift. The wine tasting was excellent, the restaurant recommendations were perfect every time, and our island tour with Pietro was a highlight of the whole trip. We were even lucky enough to see an eruption on Stromboli from the island. The breakfasts and lunches at the hotel were a daily pleasure on their own. There is so much more we want to see on Salina, and we're already planning a return with friends. If you're going to Salina, stay at Hotel Ravesi. You will not regret it.

This is an exceptional hotel. Lucy (hotel manager) made us feel right at home after our long journey to Salina. After all, the best places are the hardest to get to. We chose the Ravesi to celebrate our honeymoon and every member of the staff made the experience special. There are stunning views of the mountains and ocean at every corner of the property. It's a surreal experience and one that should be treasured. Madame Ravesi has created a culture of excellence. You would struggle to find a better hotel, anywhere. Be sure to participate in the sunset cruise if weather permits and enjoy a cocktail from their legendary bartender.

This hotel is our favorite. We have been in Sicily for a month. Everyone was pleasant. The food was great.

Der Hotelgarten bietet ganz verschiedene Plätzchen, um gemütlich die Zeit zu geniessen. Das Frühstück im Garten an der Sonne war herrlich und reichhaltig. Das Zimmer gar gross, hatte ein bequemes Bett und sehr gutes Licht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Der starke Wind zog im Zimmer etwas durch die Ritzen, was mit der warmen Decke jedoch kein Problem war.

La vista sul mare con le isole che fanno da sfondo è semplicemente mozzafiato, svegliarsi al mattino e godere di quest'immagine non ha prezzo! La camera era spaziosa, pulitissima e dotata di tutti i comfort con un balcone privato che regalava tramonti spettacolari ogni sera. La Signora Ravesi e i figli sono stati cordiali e disponibili sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta con il sorriso!! Il personale impeccabile attenti e professionali. La colazione abbondante e di alta qualità servita sulla Terrazza panoramica, è stata un altro punto forte: tutti prodotti locali, grandissima varietà di dolce e salato tutto fatto in casa secondo ricette della tradizione. Infine la posizione dell Hotel, con la bellissima piscina riscaldata con vista sulle isole è perfetta per chi vuole rilassarsi, ma anche comodo per visitare le attrazioni locali. In sintesi l'Hotel Ravesi è un'oasi di pace e bellezza, tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi una fuga romantica o una vacanza rigenerante!

We had an incredible stay at Hotel Ravesi on Salina island. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. The hotel manager gave us a thoughtful introduction to the space and shared great recommendations for places to visit, which really elevated our trip. The location is perfect—right on the town road and only a 5-minute walk to the beach. We stayed in a suite that was absolutely perfect: clean, spacious, and with a stunning view of the sea and Stromboli. The infinity pool was another highlight—calm, relaxing, and the ideal place to take in the scenery. We also did the wine tasting, which focused on producers from Salina itself. The sommelier was both knowledgeable and friendly, making it a memorable experience. Meeting Mrs. Ravesi was an unexpected bonus—she still personally cooks and prepares meals, which adds such a personal and authentic touch. Overall, this was one of our favorite hotel experiences. If we could, we’d rate it 9.9 out of 10. Highly recommend!

I loved everything about this property. It is so beautiful the location is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. They organised a boat trip around the island which is a must and bikes ro ride around the island.

What an amazing hotel with excellent and helpful staff. The surroundings were of great quality and the food sensational. We had 4 lovely nights with a boat trip to Stromboli. That was a highlight. Mrs Ravesi home cooked meals beautiful and it was fabulous to meet her. Topped it off with a book launch with Ros Belford followed by a wine tasting. Beaches weren’t too far and lots of fun.

Hotel ravesi is truly a gem. What makes the hotel stand out is their attention to small details, their kindness and warm hospitality. Location-wise, they are just a few steps to the main square in malfa surrounded by a variety of lovely restaurants. You can sense that the hotel is run by a family who is dedicated to making their staff and guests feel like they are a part of their own. They have a wonderful staff who are incredibly helpful and thoughtful. The evening wine tasting with Ricardo is not to be missed neither is the apertivo hour ( particularly on DJ nights). Hotel Ravesi is one of my favourite hotels I have stayed at and I cannot wait to come back to it.

What a fabulous paradise! The rooms, the gardens, the swimming pool, the view, and of course the kindness of the Ravesi family and all the staff. We felt completely at home, many thanks! Highly recommended to take a wine sampling experience–the wine bar in the garden is beautifully arranged, and the sommelier Riccardo is very knowledgeable.

This whole week felt like I was in a dream. The hotel, from the room with outdoor terrace, the wonderful reception staff, service staff through to the boat staff, is just incredible! The views are enough to make you just want to lay back and take them in all day and night. I was very fortunate that 2 opportunities came up to join in shared boat trips, one around the Island and one for a sunset tour. Both were fantastic with lots of ocean swimming, drinks and food. The team also let me know each day what was happening around the hotel and I also enjoyed my Cocktail Making class - perfect way to end the day making and then drinking 4 cocktails!

It is clear that a lot of thought goes into everything that they do and it is all exceptional! All the staff are every well trained in their respective crafts and the hotel is beautifully run.

The pool was beautiful and the cleaning staff and dining staff were exceptional keeping the pool area very nice with beautiful towels. The dining staff did a great job of bringing drinks to the pool area as well as with breakfast. The cleaning staff cleaned our room very well.

The receptionist staff accommodated an extension to our stay. However, we were moved to room three which has a mold issue and caused us to suffer from allergies the next day. Luckily we move to a third room and the first and third rooms were just fine. I suspect that one room is not used much so avoid room three I think it is. The receptionist staff is very helpful with making reservations and assisting with taxis and scooter rental. However, the staff is reluctant to tell you when you make a mistake like booking a reservation too early for dinner. I had difficulty with one of the receptionist staff. The other two staff were excellent.

What an absolute find. Such a jewel of a boutique hotel. The history, the engagement by the matriarch Mrs Ravesi, her food, the service of the friendly staff and the location make this one of my favourite hotels. I’ll be talking about this hotel for a long time. Such a beautiful setting in Malfa on the Island of Salina.

The hosts were extremely generous with their time in helping us and giving us information about Salina and the property. The property is amazing with several quiet spaces to relax and look at the marvelous view.

A truly special place. The Ravesi family is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is magical.. from the lush garden to the infinity pool with a stunning sea view. Everything is spotless and beautifully curated. You can enjoy breakfast, light lunches, aperitivo, and dinner made with local produce, much of it from their own garden. Cocktails are fantastic, and the wine bar offers daily tastings of excellent Sicilian and local wines. It’s also a great base to explore Salina, with their electric scooters and e-bikes, getting around is super easy. Can’t wait to go back!

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The staff gave us such a warm welcome, and the terrace, drinks, and complimentary appetizers were all delightful. Our room was gorgeous, the sunrise was breathtaking, and the golden hour was just as magical. The views were truly stunning.

Wedding venue next door. You will have awful sleep. Looking for peace not for you. Everything else good but no relaxing. Paid a lot to do so and they didn’t warn or anything. Host said raise AC if it’s loud when she walked me into room of arrival. Like she knew it would be loud and didn’t say anything.

This is a true Gem. Everything was exceptional. The friendly staff, the beautiful property, the breakfast home made by Ms. Ravesi herself, the private boat tour with dinner on the boat and views of the erupting Stromboli vulcano, the communications leading up to the trip, the transport, the scooter rental. Our time at Hotel Ravesi felt like a dream. From the moment we arrived, we were cared for as if we were old friends. Lucy gave us a lovely tour and welcomed us, making us feel at home. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room we stayed in had an extremely comfortable bed. Of special note is Mrs. Ravesi’s food, available as aperitif— not to be missed! I will treasure my memories of being on Salina at Ravesi, and hope to return some day.

Just come home from ten days at Hotel Ravesi. What a treat it was! Salina is a gorgeous unspoilt simple island, The humidity keeps the flora and fauna green and opulent, despite the lovely hot weather. You can see the whole island in a day on a scooter if you choose, although there is not a huge amount to see apart from the authentic small townships which are still (thankfully) untouched by commercialism. The hotel is beautiful with superlative service. The (numerous) staff are unfailingly polite, respectful, gracious and helpful. Our room (No.17) was spotless and well maintained, as is the rest of the hotel with some lovely communal areas to eat and relax in. I'm a bit surprised they don't have a restaurant for dinner but there are several very close by. The breakfast selection is wonderful with many cakes, tarts and flans baked by the owner herself. Our room had a fridge and a lovely terrace with views over the sea and the sun most of the day. A small supermarket five minutes up the road meant we could eat and drink on our terrace when we chose to 'self-cater'. The infinity pool is wonderful and there were enough sun beds even though we understand the hotel was full. It's a bit of a mission to get to but the staff could honestly not have been more helpful in helping us to arrange our transport from Catania airport. The photo's on line do not do the hotel justice in my opinion. Thoroughly recommended (and we're fussy!).

Our room was super comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. We also took part in a boat tour and a wine tasting organized by the hotel - both were excellent and very well planned. Everything was done with care and attention to detail. It honestly felt like a little piece of heaven. We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back.
