It was clean and quiet and had fully stocked kitchen supplies (not food product except coffee). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy.

I liked the staff and the kitchen in the room. They were all very kind, and being able to prep food for our days in the kitchen was great. Also, the A/C worked really well!! And good water pressure.

We stayed in room 502, and the WiFi barely connected. So I had to go to the lobby when needing to use the WiFi. Probably because the room is in the corner of the hotel, but yeah bad WiFi connection. And the remote didn’t work to Chanel changes, just the tv volume.

The room was nice, efficient, and clean. The lobby was welcoming and customer service was great. The parking garage was small, but we were able to find a space. The only thing was because there’s a small kitchenette in the rooms walking down the hall you can smell food cooking, which could be good or bad! 😂

I didn’t have any serious issues with the property. For two people the room was great for a few days. However the queen size bed was on the smaller size. The drain in the tub was slow. But not enough to cause too much of a delay for the next person needing a shower. I would book this hotel again!

We actually love the clean laundry room, but only 3 of 6 dryers work, & 2 of the washers weren’t working either. And we actually commend the customer service, always going above & beyond to accommodate your guests, until our last stay.

Well, we were in a handicap room, & ALL of the other ones we’ve previously stayed in had a recliner, which is perfect, since my disability that’s all I can sleep in, but this last room did NOT have one, or a shower chair, & when we requested one, the front desk told us we’d have to wait until the next morning when Housekeeping arrived, any time before when we needed one the front desk always located one & brought it up to us personally, so when I expressed this to the front desk, they told me that they’re NOT allowed to do that, so I just have to wait. This being the first time that we were disregarded this way, really upset me, we’ve always raved about how accommodating CandleWood Suites have always been, until now, also, it was the smallest room we’ve ever seen there too. So, I spent the entire night in my wheelchair awaiting Housekeeping to arrive & bring us a shower chair, & after they brought it we had less than 40mins before checkout, & when we requested a late one, we were told the max we could get is 30mins, we understand if it was fully booked or something, but being disabled had hoped for maybe an exception, but we also don’t want to change our whole opinion of this place based on one stay either, but considering ALL the factors, I’m really having a hard time. Good location, rooms have kitchenette which is great plus they are spacious.

I stayed in three different rooms, first room had extremely poor WiFi (4th Floor near lift) which after requesting for a quiet room, the receptionist chose to put me next to a fire exit and lift? I was then moved to the 2nd floor, again requested a quiet room, although I was upgraded, it turns out I was next to the BBQ seating area and pool, great room for families, but not for a business traveller. To top this off, they had an error in their system which meant the credit card I had used for deposit and parking was being charged every day for my room, it held a payment on my card of over $650, the hotel explained it was an error and released the hold, but as we all know this can take up to a week to be returned to the card.... frustrating. Then I had to deal with lets just say, 'an incontinent' dirty guest with a serious hygiene problem opposite who decided to leave adult nappies and soiled towels on the floor outside their room, the smell was disgusting. So I move again, wasting a whole morning moving and trying to resolve these issues, then the room key card didn't work, up and down to reception 3 times, until they finally realised there was an issue with the door entry system, not the card, the room I am in finally is nice and in fairness not of this is directly the hotels staff fault and 'some' where very helpful in trying to resolve the issues. I checked out and had made a separate booking for the extension of my stay, which they said book directly, I did that, only to find on the day of payment for this to be nearly $50 a day more than I had paid through booking. I appreciate this is a long winded review, but as a business traveller who is looking for long term accommodation in Orange California, I was hoping with it being an IHG, there would be no issues, unfortunately it's been challenging from the time I moved in, not what I wanted or needed during my 17 night stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Candlewood Suites! Staff was friendly and attentive to our requests. Food for any meal was available for purchase in the lobby - no need to hunt for a grocery store. Disneyland and restaurants also within walking distance. And nightly fireworks outside our window!

I would not recommend staying here. Upon arrival, I noticed the room was warm. I turned the thermostat down, but the room would not cool off. Maintenance assured me that it was just a part that needed replaced, but after replacing it, maintenance eventually admitted that the room would not cool off. I requested to move rooms and had to move with my two children (4 month old and 2 year old) at 8:30pm. The room we moved to had working air conditioning, but there was a cockroach in the bathroom and the carpet smelled like pee (perhaps because it is a pet friendly hotel). There was also food crumbs on the carpet from a previous guest. The rooms are also loud. I could hear the upstairs guests moving around at all times, and sirens from the nearby fire station all night. They conducted fire alarm testing from 8am-5pm on one of the days, making napping in the room impossible for the little ones. There was only one working elevator for the entire hotel. I am giving two stars because the staff was friendly, but other than that, this was a terrible experience and stay.

That it had a kitchen and they provided all the utensils. And they had a pool in the 3rd floor with BBQs available for everyone to use. They also had free washers and dryers, you just had to provide your own detergent.

The staff are all so nice and friendly! I love the convenience of a kitchen, the bed was so comfortable. The free coffee, laundry, location (there's so many restaurants near by). Would stay here again

Pillows are kinda uncomfortable, my room was by the freeway so I can hear everything but the bed was too comfy so it's fine :)

Very well maintained, the staff is ultra caring, They recommend on top places to eat and visit. A well organized laundry room - and a pool. The facility is noise-proof, quiet and cozy. Whilst the room is always clean and tidy, Room service is top.

Love that they have a fridge, stove, microwave. Super comfortable. It was my second stay there and totally worth it.

Sofa bed was too wiry and the AC wasn't distributed evenly between the two rooms.

We absolutely recommend this hotel, from the first day we arrived we had such a helpful front desk especially Jocelyn who was always welcoming and friendly. The maintenance and cleaning staff were also extremely helpful when asked for items, no one was hesitant to provide an answer to us. They also made it a wonderful experience for our 1 year old, giving her a special experience at our stay with a sweet gift from Jocelyn and Jose (from maintenance). We are very happy and grateful to have chosen this stay for our vacation.

1 hour late checkout was granted after asking because of my needing to finish my family’s laundry.

1. We caught a cold while traveling, and it was during a raining heavily. The heater emitted a smoky smell within seconds of switching it on. I turned it off and asked front desk for help. They said they would send someone to look into it in the morning, and they could not provide a portable heater and air purifier. We ended up propping open the front door for a while to air out the smoke. The room was always a little too cold for us, and with a little one sick with a cold, we were uncomfortable the whole trip. 2. The blankets were also not thick enough so I felt a little cold during my sleep. 3. No indoor slippers were provided. 4. The light above the stovetop was supposed to only stay on if the stovetop was hot; however, it stayed on the whole night and only switched off automatically during sunrise. We called to troubleshoot in the evening, and the front desk again said they will send maintenance but the problem never resolved throughout our entire 4day stay. In the end I couldn’t sleep well as I’m sensitive to light. 5. The window curtains are not blackout, and so I also got woken up very early in the morning during the 6.30am sunrise. 6. At one point, we needed some emergency towels while my partner was showering. We called front desk and they said they didn’t have housekeeping so they could not send it up. In the end I quickly went down for it, but it caused my toddler to cry until she threw up during the duration I was gone as she was still in a period of separation anxiety. 7. No bottled water was provided at all. 8. You can hear the garbage disposal trucks beep very loudly around 6-7am in the morning, even though we were on the 6th floor. 9. We put in a special request for a crib and shower head for our toddler, and reminded them at check-in, but they were never entertained. 10.

Good location, lovely facilities and very clean.

Great accommodation. 15–20 minutes’ walk to the amusement park. Cleaning was done every day. Quiet and cozy.

It would be nice if parking were included in the price.

The property and room were very clean it exceeded my expectations. The price was very good considering the close proximity and the cleanliness which is what was important for my family and I. Staff was friendly and I would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable stay

Stayed here for a trip to Disney with some friends who had previously stayed here. The room was fine, clean and tidy, towels were changed every day despite a sign in the bathroom saying housekeeping was once a week and all staff were friendly. Unfortunately the place itself is just so noisy! The fridge hums on and off and when speaking to our friends they had the same issue so it seemed pointless complaining/changing rooms. You can also hear when other people are using their shower and general walking above you. There is only 1 lift in the whole place which I found quite scary, it takes ages to get anywhere and really should be looked into in my opinion. Our friends told us it was a 15 minute walk to Disney but it seemed double and there are plenty of accommodation choices closer to the park. I wouldn't choose to stay here again as it is just not for me.

I was told this is a 4 star hotel, I don’t believe this. I stayed here for 8 nights. This is a list of some of the problems: 1) they have 1 elevator for the entire hotel causing all the housekeeping staff and guests for a 6 story hotel, the other one in the middle of the floor is broken. The front desk said they were in the process of getting it fixed, but the housekeeping staff said it’s been broken for over a month 2) problems with the room (I had a one bedroom suite with kitchenette) - the air conditioning worked poorly at best, was hot the entire time- there was a thermostat on the wall without a battery then was told to use the old fashioned one by the window -I was leaving so I put the dishes we used in the dishwasher and then realized the d/w didn’t even work!! So my comment to them was how clean were the dishes that I used? 3) I’m disabled with muscular dystrophy so I look at things from my aspect, I had to use my power w/c around the hotel because the elevator was so far from my room and I went out to the pool (which is less the 25 ft long and maybe 10 ft wide at the most, I could almost touch the sides while standing in the middle of it) when I went to leave I couldn’t get the door to the inside opened. I tried for over 10 min, then called the front desk, said they’d send somebody right up, after 10 more minutes nobody showed up (I had to stand in the 94 degree heat with no cover.). Finally I decided I would have to get in myself so after trying about 4 more times I was able to open the door, nobody ever came I reported all of these instances including the bus that was supposed to take us the more then 2 mile walk to Disney never came in over 1 hr, we had to walk there and back even though I paid $12 for us to ride there and back They never offered any ability or attempt to fix any of these problems, there was even a light burned out over the stovetop which I gave to them, still couldn’t even give me a lightbulb to change it myself, also it was very noisy, the people above me sounded like an aerobics class, stomping etc. and as I walked the hall I could hear every body’s conversation while they were in there rooms behind their closed door I do not recommend this hotel

Great place when you're going to Disneyland in Anaheim. There's a mini convenience store in the lobby so if you need some essentials/food/drinks, you don't need to go out. I like the free coffee machine as well as their free laundry machines (but you need to provide your own detergent/softener). Will definitely come back in the future!

This place was convenient and family friendly. We didn’t realize that there was a stove and a fridge where we can comfortably fit the kids things in.there was also a microwave. These was honestly such a plus. Walking distance to shops and food places. I believe there’s a gas station if you would like to walk over to get some quick Snacks. We walked to CPK it was about a 7 minute walk. This was perfect we walked shopped around walked off the food. When we got back to the room we did notice our AC unit was not working and they immediately offered to move us. They didn’t hassle us and all the staff was extra friendly! We also got to enjoy the pool it’s a smaller area but it is comfortable and clean. We are planning another Disney trip and plan on sticking with candlewood suites.

Bed was comfortable and having the full-size refrigerator and mini kitchen was a nice option. Location was good and within walking distance to the nearby Theme Parks and restaurants.

Seating options in the room for eating, working, etc. were limited. Hallway door had a gap so light and noise from the hallway came into the room.

Loud family with 5 kids running upstairs at all hours day and night. The hotel staff refused to remedy the situation until I wrote to corporate directly. The manager gave me partial refund but it did nothing for the loss of sleep and headaches of dealing with this issue. Most of the staff members were untrained, unprofessional and excessively rude. One girl in particular should have been fired after threatening me and the management team did nothing. Cheap hotel with below average service. Furniture in the room was worn and torn everywhere. Spend your money elsewhere!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay here again. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is stocked and big, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. To get to disney it was close enough to walk or to pop over to the Toy Story lot and shuttle, and lots of restaurants are nearby. Very quiet, felt cozy!

Par ailleurs, trop loin pour aller à pieds à Disneyland Resort, des navettes moins fréquentes qu’annoncer et payante en plus (4€ par adulte pour un aller simple). Du coup, nous avons pris un uber à chaque fois mais ça a un certain coût et compliqué de rentrer se reposer durant la journée au parc pour faire une pause

Great staff. Loved our stay here and having a partial kitchen. Was walkable to Disney and the shuttle for when we were tired worked well as well and was convenient.

Clean room, room was already cooled down with the AC on when we arrived. Everything was clean and well stocked. The kitchenette is perfect! It has a full sized refrigerator, and in-freezer ice maker, coffee pot, dishes, pans, silverware, and a dishwasher. They even have salt and pepper packets for you! Bathroom is well appointed with linens, shampoo, conditioner, and extra paper products. The beds are comfy. Some pillows are firm some are soft. They have free washer and dryer available. They also have a self-serve store in the lobby. The pool area has 4 BBQ grills, lawn chairs, a small pool, and a nice indoor lounge with a restroom and a TV. Parking is only $15 a day. Lyft rides are easy to get for going to the parks. It's about $10 each way, with tip. DoorDash delivers right to your hotel room door as does Wal-Mart. I love staying here and will definitely return!

We planned our trip to go to Disneyland I did my research and found that this hotel had a kitchen with the basic cooking supplies for cooking your meals. A refrigerator, stovetop, coffeemaker, toaster, and dishwasher. That was one of the reasons why we booked this hotel so that we could prep our meals. Also its walking distance to Disneyland. We figured out there is a bus stop across the street from the hotel that goes to Disneyland we decided to walk and explore what was close and around the area. The staff was nice and friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the swimming pool due to maintenance repairs. Overall our stay was good and my family enjoyed as well. We will definitely stay here again.

We booked a 2 bed for my son and I two months in advance but when we arrived they told us they were sold out of 2 beds and we were given a 1 bed for our 6 night stay. They did allow us to change starting the 2nd night at least. Otherwise, the room and location met our needs for visiting the parks.

Love the staff and property. Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating. Property is clean, very well taken care of. Great place for families traveling with kids. Definitely will come back!
