Dreams Jade Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

We love the staff most of all. Lourdes, Edwin, Jesus, Emiliano, Jonathan and Raul in the breakfast time are all wonderful. They just make our vacation every time. We can’t wait to go back soon.

The property is just as pictured. Staff were always very professional and polite. I upgraded and was able to experience the lounge amenities but did not receive the upgrade items to my room and had to ask for them several times then I received them on the last night and was not able to enjoy them.

Everything was exceptional! Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond with requests or assistance. The room was in very clean and in great condition. Temp was set to a cool temperature during entire stay and helped with dealing with the heat and humidity. Pool was also very exceptional and perfect with ample space to swim and relax. The spa services were above and beyond as well. A very private and intimate setting and amazing services. 11/10!

The reason my wife and I keep coming back are the staff like Cecilia, Antonio, and especially our favorite staff member Armando at the Preferred Club pool. He makes you feel like you are royalty. This includes Karla at the pool. Wait staff like Omar. It's not so much the resort itself. The old lady is starting to show her wear but it's the people I mentioned that make this resort. I encourage everyone to give Jade a chance. If you do make sure you eat at least once at Mercure you won't regret it!

I had an amazing time at Dreams Jade Resort. The main reason I chose this hotel was its location—it’s much quieter than Cancun’s Hotel Zone, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. During my stay, I had no complaints at all; everything was absolutely perfect! I’d like to give a special shout-out to David and Fernanda from the entertainment team, as well as Cecilia, the sweetest host at the Castaway restaurant. Juan, our waiter at Tamarind (the Mexican restaurant), was phenomenal, and Luis and Fabiola from the Asian restaurant were both professional and incredibly friendly. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the daily and nightly activities made the experience even better. I definitely plan to return to Dreams Jade Resort!

Property was a little older but clean. Our cleaning service was amazing! Only thing I didn’t like about the room was the fact that our balcony hot tub took over 45/1hour to fill up. I’d booked an ocean front suite and I’d honestly recommend going for the ocean view so that you can see the resort and the ocean which is a much more pleasant view in my opinion due to how small the beach is and it’s filled with seaweed. Beach was very seaweed filled. We got 3 of 7 days to use the beach for part of the day. Pool was great! Food was great for dinner but room service was very mediocre. The breakfast buffet was decent but the selection wasn’t rotated much at all except for one little line that had bacon only some mornings. Very packed and a lot of people reserve pool chairs before they get down there and leaves slim pickings if any, don’t get down there any later than 10:00 am. Overall 4 out of 5 stars. I’ve stayed ate secrets maroma, and Hyatt ziva Cancun which are both part of the same collection. We enjoyed this resort as a family but I don’t see us ever returning. If your an all inclusive person than this is a decent place to start off but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’ve been to other property’s that may have been more expensive or higher rated because it can get kind of disappointing.

The room was clean daily which is a big plus. Unfortunately, there wasn’t anything to do in the resort. There weren’t many options for food and many restaurants were closed. The beach view room I was in was a tease. By “ocean view” it was if you looked over the balcony to see the corner of the oceanfront. The jacuzzi was dirty and nothing like the pictures online.

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely amazing! The hotel was spotless, beautifully updated, and thoughtfully decorated. Our ocean-view room was so spacious with a huge balcony that made it extra special. Dining was incredible. The Teppanyaki restaurant was so good we went twice, and we also loved the Mexican and Italian restaurants. The French restaurant is a must for breakfast! I was a little worried after reading some reviews about the food, but everything we had was phenomenal. Even the buffet was great, though for dinner I’d recommend the specialty restaurants. The spa was a highlight. We booked a package with a massage, facial, and hydrotherapy session—it was pure bliss. The staff was professional, everything felt top-notch, and we even brought home some of their amazing products. The pools were fantastic, with two swim-up bars and attentive servers who kept drinks coming whether we were poolside or in a cabana. For our anniversary, the hotel went above and beyond with champagne in our room and a sweet door sign—it truly felt special.The only drawback was the seaweed on the beach, but staff worked hard to clear it, and of course that’s beyond their control. There are a few shops on-site, but larger shopping areas are 30–45 minutes away. We also did a catamaran excursion that included shopping, which worked perfectly.We loved the priority lounge with top-shelf drinks. Overall, our stay was unforgettable, and we highly recommend!

It was relaxing, room was always clean. Staff was great.

The service was top notch. Very friendly staff. Beautiful grounds even though there was seaweed, which we knew about ahead of time. We got engaged and Martin was amazing and went out of his way to make it a special event that we will never forget. Our room was amazing!!!

The staff here are so super nice and helpful. The buffet was always very good with plenty of options. Would have loved to had water aerobics every day. Our room was very nice but air conditioning was not as cold as we would have liked. I booked ocean view room but it was definitely a garden view. We could not see the ocean. The spa was wonderful we enjoyed a massage and hydro therapy. All in all this resort was wonderful and would definitely recommend.

Overall not bad Benat many restaurants a lot of days restaurants are closed so you stuck with the same ones and the food could be better

The service of the staff is just outstanding. You can see the Director of the Hotel at the restaurants supervising everything, but across the property. All the people are really great, at the bar, the pool, towels, concierge. ALL OF THEM, at the restaurants. Miss Fernanda at the restaurants, Erwing, Emiliano and Karina in Carnival, Jose at CIN CIN, all, Ivan at the entrance, all are giving the extra mile

Loved my vacation. Could improve the food

I got sick here so that our a damper on everything. My room wasn't ready when I arrived and I didn't get the room I booked.

Do not give me two words to describe what I did not like and a whole paragraph to write what I liked. Here is what I didn't like...... the smell of mold in the rooms, the restaurants and bars close most of the time due to weddings or other events. The bar near the beach was closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday!! The food was exactly like airplane food in premium economy, not even business class. The beach was full of seaweed and smell like so everywhere, Nor a good experience. The staff was great though!

Me , my daughter and her friend had a great vacation, and met some amazing people from all over the world! All visitors were so friendly and social! The hotel environment and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Rooms were big and spacious, and clean. Housekeeping was timely and friendly! We had a great time-- food was great, great variety, freshly cooked, all restaurants were great, bartenders and especially the night time crew and poolside crew (all drinks were "Alfredo-Strong" ) were AMAZING!! Entertainment crew was so fun!!, and really created lots of fun and engaged everyone! There are several activities throughout the resort to engage in for anyone and everyone! Evening time entertainment was great and always brought everyone out to enjoy the evening activities and drinks! I am so glad we chose this resort as our 1st experience, and likely we will be back!! Everyone in all areas- restaurants, cafe, buffet restaurant, front desk, lobby staff, Entertainment crew, all waiters (inside and poolside), housekeeping, lobby bars----literally everyone was amazing, courtesy, fun, very social, polite, helpful, and made us feel like friends and family! We truly had an amazing time, but really all staff and everyone we encountered made our stay wonderful!! Thank you to everyone :)

The place was nice and clean. The buffet and restaurants are a 3 out of 5. Could go for a different hotel. Staff was amazing.

The pool was big abd nicely spread out with plenty of seating around and in the pool. We were upgraded to an ocean front view and it was amazing! Just a short walk to the pool or beach. Several dining options and we have no complaints. The food was very good.

Overall ,excellent resort, as far as service outstanding, the food was good as well and the amenities offered by the resort were excellent as well. Overall it was a great experience. I would love to go back. I didn't find any thing negative about this resort.

Most of the staff were amazing. The resort was beautiful and the grounds were nicely kept. The The entertainment was great. The only turnoff was the pushy salesmen trying to get us to purchase vacation club memberships and hotel experiences.

We loved the property the smell of seaweed was so over powering to the point where we couldn’t enjoy the beach. Everything else was amazing. The staff was amazing and the resort is beautiful!

Our family stayed at the Dreams Jade Resort in August 2025 for a wedding. Everything was fantastic from the property, dining options, friendly staff and good service.

Amazing

We enjoyed the stay everything is in close distance and you dont need resturant reservatuons. Staff is very attentive and the shows were on point! Specialy the silant night. They have the kids clup with diffrent activities which my doughter enjoyed very much

Restaurant food was delicious. Terrible seaweed beach-not as advertised. Spa hot stone massage was amazing. Went back for relaxing massage-not too good

Food and service was excellent. Only complaint I have is that the room was a little warm and the property did not have a fan they could provide. I definitely would come back.

Beautiful resort, stayed in the Preferred Club which offered an adults only infinity pool, swim up bar, and top shelf liquor at the Preferred lounge. Check in and check out as a Preferred member was such a breeze. All the staff were amazing, always asking if we needed anything and bringing our drinks to our pool chairs. The buffet was small but there was always something for us to eat to our liking. The restaurants were also great- we had Italian and Mexican which were really good. The Teppanyaki dinner at Spice was also great, but note that you can’t order other things off the menu if you do Teppanyaki like sushi or apps. Our room was beautiful with a large balcony with a jacuzzi, and a separate living area. Overall, a great stay, would definitely come back here again!

If you want a resort that caters to the customers then the Jade is for you. We’ve stayed 8 times and we come back because of the people who work there. It feels like home. The Preferred Club Pool Consigere is beyond good. He goes the extra step. I’ve been to many resorts and keep coming back to Jade. The food is incredible especially at Mercure. Beaches were cleaned every day.

We were a family of 14 and we well taken of from the moment we arrived to the property. The staff at Dreams Jade is hard working and friendly. Always greeting you as they pass by. There were lots of extra little touches, to help us a celebrate a birthday in the group, turndown service and a farewell treat on the last night. This isn't for beach lovers, due to the seaweed. This is a pool lovers paradise. All of the a la carte restaurants were incredible, I loved all the seafood, the hibachi and the many taco options throughout the week. Thanks Dreams Jade.

Love it

This was my niece’s destination wedding, which I attended with my family. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable from the check-in process, to our room attendant, to the bartenders and waiters in the restaurants and buffet area. Most of all, Maria in the Preferred Lounge truly stood out. She was incredibly pleasant and helpful in many situations throughout the week, and even assisted me personally in a situation without any hesitation. Every morning, she greeted guests with a warm smile, a wonderful way to start the day.

This property is Top Tier!! Staff is exceptional. We had a great time and will visit again.

Overall grea place

There was an amazing staff presence and hospitality from everyone. All members of my family enjoyed the food options at this resort especially the Buffet, Spice restaurant, and Castaways. There was nightly entertainment which was always fun to watch, we do you recommend going 30 minutes earlier just to have a good spot to watch. The entertainment team did an amazing job hosting the pool party and games. Overall it was a good family trip location.

It was beautiful and safe

Food options at cafe was limited, room walls are thin and can be very loud hearing neighbors, few entertainment for all ages, and pool activities were quiet and dull. The night activities especially the Mexican Show was very entertaining and the variety of restaurant options was a plus.

We were greeted with champagne which was nice checking in was not too long. We were surprised there were no wrist bands and that alone scored points with me since I hate wearing them. The food options fluctuated sometimes good. It dependes on the time and place because it was first come first served , there is no reservations policy. The place was always being cleaned and the pool areas were especially clean . Some buildings/rooms do need updating but are always clean and so is the furniture. Lastly the evening shows were varied and I really enjoyed them.No vacation is perfect, but the more prepared you are the better. .

We were upgraded to the Governor's Suite upon arrival for being an Expedia Gold member. The resort staff were very friendly and helpful. All the restaurants were delicious, I would recommend eating before 7pm to avoid the dinner rush. All of the entertainment was excellent, we especially enjoyed the Mexico Show!

Every thing is good except the elevator not working for two days and I am in 4 floor and made two tickets without any response otherwise everything was good

The resort was wonderful. The food was just average in some place but great in others. The staff was excellent. Wonderful people and I would go back.

Food was great. Italian restaurant was my favorite. Elevator was broken with a toddler and a stroller it was never fixed and we were on the 4th floor.

Pleasant experience

The staff were very friendly. The property was very old and the area smelled. We had 4 rooms and all had problems. Sewer smell, bathroom won’t flush, AC broke, ceiling leaked water. 4 out of 8 people got food poisoned. Very limited seafood. Food was cheap quality. Orange juice and milk tested nothing like orange or milk. Restaurants were a big disappointment. Overall I can only give 2 stars for the staff that was helpful. Other than that was a waste of money and time.

Enjoyed the food, pools and entertainment

My husband and I stayed Here with our 3 daughters and we had an amazing stay. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are top notch here! We like to hop around and try new new resorts, but we’d definitely come back here. Our daughters said this has been their favorite resort so far. The ONLY reason I’d give it 4 stars is the food but that said, we never went hungry. I’d definitely recommend Dreams Jade to anyone!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Resort was very clean. For all inclusive the food/dining options were great. Hard to get into the hibachi restaurant with limited availability and the line opens at 1515 for reservations later that night. Not the resorts fault, but unfortunately the seaweed was horrific this time of year and unable to use the beach, there was a pungent smell, and couldn't see the crystal blue waters. However, they did their best to pick it up with a tractor every morning.

I liked the vibe and friendliness of the staff in the VIP area and pool area like from Oscar and Ivan. I did NOT like the fact that someone went through our room while we were out and took both of our cell phone chargers.

Liked this AI a lot, was missing having a dedicated concierge like I have had at other Dreams resorts in DR. The following people made sure I had a great time: Maureen, Marcos, Uriel, Luis, Fabiola, and Cecila.

I am someone with food allergies and they did an amazing job of keeping me safe when ordering food. You get a bracelet and that identifies you with an allergy and the restaurant servers check your room notes before sending anything out to you. The buffet has some GF packaged items but you have to be ok with having something there that is in the buffet. The entertainment was ok, nothing to write home about. Maybe kids would appreciate more. The staff is friendly and hardworking. Very clean place. Some staff do not know English but I found the vast majority of waiters and people did. The property is small and walkable. Had a great experience in the spa. Fish pedicure and massage. Kept the beach clean from the seaweed each morning which was some task. It’s family friendly so you have to be ok with kids around but they were well behaved. Nice crowd. Would recommend. If you stay for a while you should do excursions otherwise I can see it being boring. The one critique would be that the arts n crafts events are limited to 12 people each and that’s really not a lot at all for a whole resort. They should set up more tables and have someone with a microphone lead the event. Someone in my party was disappointed that just the kids were doing the paint by the beach activity. You can’t make reservations and you had to be there an hour in advance in the heat. No thanks.

Just returned from my wonderful stay here at Dreams Jade resort. This hotel is very nice and clean! I booked an oceanfront room on the preferred side. Room was spacious and nice. Thanks to Miguel for taking care of our room! We enjoyed the room service. If it was not for the seaweed, and you were looking to see and hear the ocean, oceanfront is the way to go. We were lucky to be in building 9. I still saw the beautiful blue ocean but it was back a bit because of the seaweed. The staff worked hard every day to clear the beaches. From check-in to check out, everything was fabulous. The staff was beyond friendly and always accommodating. The food was good and there was always something going on every night. Shout out to Armando and the staff at the pool, the drinks and snacks, excellent service! Maureen thanks for recommending the catamaran to Isle of Mujeres! Thanks to the friendly staff at the front desk for the excursions. Plenty of excursions are offered. Thanks for a wonderful stay on my first mother daughter trip!

Amazing resort and amazing staff , second time here and we loved it , only thing they don’t have a lot of seafood , if u a seafood lover this is not ur best option. Almost all the food is always Mexican which we loved and it wasn’t an issue , they have a lot of drinks varieties. The room upgrade that Expedia offered because I’m gold they said no availability and didn’t let me even finished saying it I guess they trained the staff to say that and don’t give out the upgrade.

Not personable at all. We would walk past employees and they wouldn’t acknowledge. I’ve stayed at many resorts and this was by far worst customer service. The only ones that were super nice and accommodating were the ones trying to get you to sign up for vacation club. Food was great no complaints. Room service average wait was 1 hour and a half. Mini bar in room was not stocked every day.

The people that work at this resort put everything into their job. From Lordes, Jonathon and Leo in the breakfast buffet to Javier at the preferred pool bar. They treat you like family.

I was there for a wedding. I went thru 5 irons and a steamer all of them leaked or didn't work. The Air conditioning didnt work. The curtains looked like someone urinated on them. Room service food took 4 hour and came after i canceled it at 1 am after i fell asleep. Mexican room service food in Mexico is terrible. We was there with a whole party and everyone complained about cleanliness and the Air conditioning in the rooms

Overall fantastic experience, concierge helped a ton with excursions, staff was very kind on greeting and acknowledging our honeymoon with a free bottle of wine! Will come back at a later date.

Amazing Stay at Dreams Jade Resort & Spa – Worth It! We visited Dreams Jade Resort & Spa on July 6, 2025, and had a wonderful vacation! The resort offers a wide variety of activities for both kids and adults, so there’s never a dull moment. We booked the all-inclusive package, and it was absolutely worth it — the food was delicious and plentiful, with something for everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole property was clean and beautifully maintained. One thing to note: during our stay, the beach had a lot of seaweed, which they mentioned has been an issue since March and tends to clear up around October. So if you’re planning to swim in the sea or enjoy beach activities, visiting between October and January might be better.

It was so beautiful and clean. The staff were so friendly and made me feel very at home. I was by myself and I felt very safe. They have fun activities going on!

Great place to stay but if you’re a preferred member you do not get the best alcohol at the preferred pool and they never put out bags in our room I had to go down and get them. Other than that it was a decent stay!

Excellent food and service. The room and bathroom were a good size and always clean. Check-in and check-out were quick. In my opinion, there's a lack of daytime entertainment for pre-teens and teens, especially sports. I had to call reception at 1 a.m. because of excessive noise in the hallway, and after three attempts, no one answered. Overall, I recommend.

Everything was great , down to the staff , the food, the amenities and the room ! I can’t wait to visit the other sister properties around the world.

Beautiful property.Multiple pools to choose from. Pool wait staff very attentive. Several options for all age groups. Pool restrooms were in need of updating and more attention. Room showers were nice and roomy. Beds and pillows were ok. All staff very friendly and accommodating.

The property was easy to get around. Food options or good, but not up to quality of other dream properties could not go in the ocean see grass was bad not even sure if season we would’ve been able to go in not a place for beach goers. Preferred club lounge was way too small not worth the extra money although the preferred pool was the best. The other pool was very crowded.
