The location is great, with a lot of bar, restaurants, coffee shop nearby, let alone the front beach and the Church within 10 minute walk. The facilities and the building are a bit old fashioned, although still usable. There is a coffee and ice cream resto next door (in the Grand Hotel, actually, same place, same operator and owner). The staff is polite, friendly and helpful.

The staff are not always available. We arrived at noon and nobody at the front door. We had to ask for parking, and also had to carry our luggage inside the hotel. There was only one bell boy who is very friendly and helpful, but one man seemed not enough for all guests. The breakfast is so so although there are a large variety. The shower is not user-friendly and not comfortable. The chair in my room is too old that it seems not to be able to carry my weight.

Good location to many places. Short trip from hotel to beaches. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions. The food for breakfast was great and well made and priced. Was quiet for the location near some bars.

My room was next to the veranda and the lights were shining in all night, couldn’t quite darken the room that well with the curtains.

Location was excellent , plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance and a 2 minute walk to the beach . Staff very well presented and always helpful.

Great place to visit Vung Tau. Near the beach, the bars, although a bit old and maybe outdated, fully functional and clean. Staff were great and attentive, fitness center was fine. Pool is small and does not worth a visit. Breakfast is superb with a lot of selection.

Les chambres sentent l'humidité, vous ne voyez pas le jour, certaines chambres sont entre deux couloirs. L'accès à la piscine n'est pas très approprié. Descendre par l'ascenseur et après des escaliers.

Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and quick with my check-in. Cannot say enough thank yous to all of them and management. Well done. I was very graciously upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment, which was perfect, and greatly appreciated. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Cook to order eggs were done quite well by friendly cooks. Very fresh fruits and vegetables. Loved the fresh fruit juices. The apartment has everything one needs and is kept clean and supplied by a friendly crew of housekeepers. Laundry Service was excellent. Don't recall ever having service this fast. Pool and surrounding area was nice. Concierge staff were fantastic, so happy to say Hello and to offer to help. Very much appreciated. This is a fantastic place to stay, location, amenities, casino, did I mention LOCATION! Thank you to all. Hope to stay with you again.

Seeing kitchen staff picking up the bacon with his bare hands while he cut it in half. He only stopped when I called him out about it. Of the times I had eaten that bacon previously, had this been done the same way? The hotel, despite its grandeur, is showing its age, style, visible old repairs, old outdated/well worn furnishings.

Fantastic location within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and convenience store. The bed is comfy and the softest pillows, great night sleep! There are floors that have been updated but ours wasn’t. The corridor carpet on our floor has seen better days. (4th floor) A step through the bedroom door and you’re transported back to the 90’s. Decor aside, the rooms are spacious, spotless, with a super cold fridge. Fantastic shower pressure, washing my hair conditioner out was a breeze! There is a large open terrace on the 5th floor with views out to sea, we grabbed a couple of cold ones and watched the sun set. The pool gets the sun all day but check ahead with the hotel before booking as we had a 3 day lifesaving course happening, which took over the whole pool and limited sun beds. Final verdict, would I stay again.. Yes! Great value for money and cracking location.

Really can’t make a negative comment about the hotel. Niggle would be, upgrading of carpets and room decor would improve the look of the interior of the hotel.

The facility is old. There is mold in the bathroom, and the door is peeling off. It doesn’t deserve 4 stars. However, the service is good, and the breakfast is excellent.

Verouderd hotel, sommige wandcontactdozen werkten niet, matras was de vering wel een beetje uit. Gym had veel mogelijkheden, maar wel oud spul.

The staff were amazing. I extended my stay by 5 days as I liked it so much

Air condition working only on small speed because high speed make too much noise. Evening time all the time was noise near to room. I dont know what was this only unconfortable. Reception give only for one breakfast voucher and later you need came to lobby or waiting untill 6pm for get next one. This very strange. Spa also no make good impresion. For stay 1-2 night is possible only i no recomend for longer time.

Mycket prisvärd, personalen var jätte trevliga, frukosten med många variationer nästan som lunch buffén. Läget passade oss, centralt och nära allt, man saknade ingenting. Hotellet är i renoveringsbehov men så fort påpekas något personalen åtgärdat direkt. Priset talar för exakt hur det är, om man är inte för kräsen och tittar för minsta lilla detalj i konstruktion skick så ingen skulle ångra och jag rekommenderar varmt.

Ingeting angående boende men vill ändå säga att, Stranden invid hotellet "frame beach " för smutsig att bada där, man åkte till andra stranden för bada. Angående boende personalen försöker hålla rent men som sagt hotellet är i renoveringsbehov så det är inte lätt hålla rent något som man tyvärr måste byta ut i stället.

The palace hotel caters for all travellers exceptionally well. The staff were always helpful and the location is excellent. The pool area is great and the health spa was fantastic.

It’s dated and needs an upgrade. Breakfasts selection was very poor and the coffee disgusting. The coffee bar was not open and the machine to make better coffee was not working

The palace is a huge hotel two minutes walk from the beach. Parking is free and secure at street level next to the hotel. Hotel was mostly quiet during our stay but some music at night nearby Didn’tbother us. Balcony in the Spacious room with a comfortable bed. We located within walking distance to sunset, restaurants and beach strip, coffee, shops, restaurants, stores, etc..

Need a lot of updates, furnitures looks unattractive. Bathroom looks very old .

place was dated thinking built in 60s or 70s , would of been 5 star hotel 50 years ago . staff during the day were exceptional night staff tried to demand money from my friend who brought a partner to the room even though he booked for 2 people ,2 breakfasts etc .

A very good value for money hotel in a handy location. Breakfasts were good and staff were particularly helpful and accommodating. Very nice pool and handy to the beach.

Hot water in the bathroom took quite a few minutes before running hot. Shower set up in bathtub was not ideal for access due to fixed shower screen and a rubber mat could have been provided to prevent slipping in the wet tub. Bedside lights could have been stronger - too low for reading.

Lovely looking Hotel but very dated and old fashioned . If was re-furbished it would be spectacular. Breakfast was very good , not the biggest choice but all was nicely cooked and presented. swimming pool very nice and the location is great. All the staff we met were very polite and helpful.

cleaning in the rooms could be better , rooms were cleaned daily but areas where not in direct sight were grubby. Very tatty in some areas and could do with decorating through out.

The hotel has seen better days but it is clean, safe and everything is serviced and maintained. What makes this place are the staff, very polite, friendly and helpful. The laundry here is returned on the same day, exceptional. I would gladly return to this hotel.

The balcony was a very big communal garden with benches and tables with a sea view which made the experience amazing. The hotel was very clean. I could not fault. The staff and cleaners were very friendly also.
