The Wind Resort - Tropical Hillside Escape

Close to the main strip. Breakfast was fine but limited selection which became repetitive.

I paid in full for a "Suite with Hill View" for 9 nights and was never given it. The first room ("Sky View Suite", Room 7) looked nothing like the listing photos: different bathroom, writing on the doors, no TV in the bedroom, barely-working TV in the lounge, an undisclosed bare attic space, and no hill view. When I complained I was told it was the correct room. After 3 nights I was moved to Room 3 - cleaner, but still not the category I booked and overlooking the city and pool, not the hill; the hill-facing part of the property appeared to be still under construction. Worse: while I was unwell, reception pressed me to admit a workman for a "two-minute" job; hours later I walked into my bathroom undressed to find him still there, working through the window, with no one having told me anyone remained. Reception was mostly unattended and only one staff member (at breakfast) spoke enough English to deal with a problem. Pool area has broken tiles and sharp edges and only a couple of loungers. I have raised a formal complaint with the property and Booking.com; the property has refused a refund.

Bữa sáng bufet trái cây, tráng miệng còn món chính thì A la carte. Có phở, bò né và các món trứng, xúc xích kiểu Âu. Bất ngờ là hương vị rất chỉnh chu so với kì vọng của mình.

Khu vực hồ bơi nhiều cây nên muỗi,nên cb xịt đuổi muỗi. Dép khách sạn một số đôi bị mòn, mình trượt chân mấy lần trước sảnh khách sạn. Không có thang máy nên gia đình có trẻ nhỏ và người lớn tuổi nhớ lưu ý.

Nice staff, "okay" location but up on a steep hill which was okay for us on a scooter. Room was clean and cool and the overall stay was okay.

For the price and how the ratings were on Booking, I was really expecting something quite nice. But instead it was quite okay and the location was also okay. If you don't have wheels, expect a steep but short hike up to the hotel.

Location was poor. We were in a separate building above the kitchen and next to kids playroom. Carpets were filthy and stained. Jack hammering continuous throughout the day beginning at 6 am. Overall poor accommodation and don’t understand the reviews posted on Booking.com.

The staff were lovely and the breakfast was nice

I had stayed at the wind in phu quoc and this nothing like that resort there this was not as clean or maintained.

The pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were great. Great playroom for my two children. Friendly helpful staff and great breakfast. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean.

Beautiful place on the top of the hill, with a great view, especially from the bathtub. Good breakfast and friendly staff; I had an upgraded room and 50% off for the spa!

Hồ bơi của khách sạn sạch sẽ, thoải mái, được chăm chút dù đông hay vắng khách, có cả phòng xông hơi khô và ướt. Điểm ăn tiền nhất ở đây là có thể chọn gói spa miễn phí đính kèm với phòng ở. Tay nghề của của nhân viên massage phải nói là đỉnh nóc, tay các chị tay bé nhưng lực vô cùng, nắn khúc nào là ra khúc đó. Gói dùng thử 50p này cũng voi cùng đã r Ngoài ra, người lưu trú còn dc giảm 50% cho các liệu trình spa trên 500k nên đây là nơi thích hợp để đi chơi kết hợp tẩm quất cho các bó cơ mệt mỏi. Ngoài ra nhân viên rất hỗ trợ và thân thiện.

The AC was a bit smaller than the whole room. We were very hot even we had the fan. The quilt is designed for a winter style. May need lighter quilts. Overall it was very nice

The pool is great for kids to play and adults to relax. Breakfast is delicious and the property is peaceful and in a lovely natural setting.

Bonus room upgrade on check in. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. I chose not to have breakfast but was still offered a fruit platter each morning. Shuttle bus a bonus.

The gym location felt cramped and the equipment is past its use by date.

Ved ankomsten blev vi modtaget af det sødeste personale. Meget smilende og venlige. Morgenmaden var simpelthen så lækker. Poolområdet var meget hyggeligt og flot anlagt. Hotellet ligger lidt oppe fra vejen, men med kort afstand til masser af restauranter og barer. Ca. 1 km til stranden, men der er gratis shuttlebus, hvis man ikke ønsker at gå. Så ønsker man et fredeligt sted at bo og så alligevel tæt på bylivet, kan dette hotel anbefales.

This was a gorgeous spot away from the main strip — it was surrounded by greenery and every morning we were greeted by gorgeous views over the city and the gentle crows of a rooster (don’t worry, it won’t wake you up!). The breakfasts were amazing, and included a combination of a freshly-cooked meal of your choice as well as fruits and yoghurt — and excellent coffee! The staff were also very helpful, picking us up from the ferry terminal as well as helping us organise transport to HCMC airport. The swimming pool was well-maintained and refreshing - and while the gym was a bit old, everything was in working order, so we were able to get some workouts in too. Would highly recommend this resort, if you’re looking for a quiet retreat that is still a short walk to town!

I personally loved the location — one of my favourites of my whole trip — but just note that if you have mobility issues it is a short distance away from beaches/attractions. However the staff have a great shuttle bus service, so you shouldn’t have any problems getting around.

Nous avons quelques jours très agréables et relaxants dans cet hôtel. Les enfants ont apprécié la piscine et les toboggans, également le jacuzzi dans la chambre, les adultes ont aimé les massages/ spa. Le petit déjeuner était simple mais parfait pour nous. Le personnel était très sympathique et prêts à aider (ils ont par exemple réservé pour nous un restaurant pour le 31 décembre au soir). L'hôtel est situé dans un endroit calme, en retrait de la ville, avec une très belle vue. Très belle expérience.

Príjemný hotel rodinného charakteru z ktorého vyžaruje pohoda, pohostinnosť a celková atmosféra a kľud. Treba využiť aj SPA a lavovu masáž za výbornú cenu. Bezplatný hotelový transfer väz odvezie kedykoľvek počas dňa na miesto vami určené. Personál milý a úctivý. Raňajky bohaté, formou bufetu. Hlavne jedlo a la carte.

The rooms were fine. The staff were lovely.

I am scoring this so low because this is miss sold. People need to see that the hotel does NOT look like this!!! Maybe 10 years ago it did but it is now incredibly worn and tired with half of the hotel seemingly closed down and abandoned. No bar, the breakfast is in a little odd garden area that seems to be attached as an afterthought. The pictures and the idea of this place is beautiful but the fact of the matter is you can pay HALF this price and get a much nicer accommodation in Vung Tau. It is unfair that the hotelier is charging you so much for these once forgotten facilities and I do not understand the positive sentiment on reviews. If this was half price. Then it would be a fine place to stay, but it is overpriced and underwhelming on all fronts.

Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Toller Pool. darf sich wirklich Boutique Hotel nennen. SPA fast täglich genutzt.

Alles gut ausser die Mücken! ist ja subjektiv. Personal hat aber alles mögliche getan um diese abzuhalten.

Lovely little pool area. Staff were very good, always helpful. The shuttle bus was a big bonus and will take you anywhere during the daylight hours: we used it a lot. Breakfast was good, freshly cooked from a set menu along with a good selection of fruit etc. we were also given a room upgrade which is always good. The hotel is well situated as it is equidistant from both the front and back beaches.

Nothing. The only thing I would say is that the hill up to the hotel is steep, so if you have issues with mobility it may be a bit of a problem.

Serene, lovely aromas, the sweetest staff, the finest massage and facial, excellent breakfasts, marshmallow beds of yumminess, in a great part of town yet secluded up in the hills.

There is nothing not to like.

Breakfast was exceptional and great service. Very beautiful hotel and location. Room was very big, clean, comfortable. I would stay here again. Staff was very professional, helpful, friendly. We were able to make use of their free shuttle service (but don't count on it being more timely than a Grab or Taxi service).

There was a bit of a smell coming from the bathroom - not from lack of cleaning: probably one of the floor drains where by construction design it could be lacking a proper vapor trap (very common in Vietnam). However, we resolved this by closing the door from the bathroom to the bedroom, and opening the bathroom windows temporarily to vent out.

The bath room had working jacuzzi. I enjoyed it a lot. Beds were comfortable. It's located on the hillside which was quiet and you can hear the pleasant rooster sounds in the morning.

Would be great if the TV had Netflix.

Location, located on the top of a hill. There was no lift in the Resort & at the end of a long day , climbing stairs was not good!! Need a vehicle to get to & from. The was no restaurant or Bar on site which was so disappointing. The food selection was average with no variety. Same menu each morning.

Personnel très aimable et a l'écoute. L'hôtel dispose d'un chauffeur qui peut nous déposer partout dans la ville. Petit-déjeuner changeant et plutôt bon. La piscine est bien.

Wonderful staffs and owners. Free shuttle pick up and drop off to local areas for foods, beach and sightseeing during stay. The resort hidden in uphill location. you will burn some calories if decide to walk & explore surrounding local foods, bars or restaurants. It could be slippery at front of lobby during rain season while wearing sandals. It was a hidden germ.

The hotel is exceptional. Very relaxing, the staff are amazing, the location is perfect especially for the early morning walks around the cities main attractions. I will definitely stay again and can highly recommend.

Sanitary equipment in the bathroom are not really good.

Nettes, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, dazu gibt es ein kostenlosen Fahrservice der sehr praktisch ist und man sich viel Geld für Taxi und Grab sparen kann. Die Anlage ist sehr grün und der Pool sauber und angenehm kühl. Auch der Spa ist sehr gut und die Massagen waren gut. Wir erhielten dazu 50% Rabatt auf alle Anwendungen, wodurch der Spa selbst in Vietnam sehr preiswert war. Das Frühstück ist zwar klein aber sehr lecker.

Die Einrichtung ist alt und stark abgewohnt. Die Fenster sind nicht richtig dicht. Wir hatten Ameisen und andere kleine Tiere regelmäßig überall. Dazu kommt das die Sauberkeit Verbesserungsbedürftig ist. Das Hotel hätte deutlich mehr Potential würde man grundsätzlich mal Sanieren.

Personal ( Hanh + Dung )sehr freundlich, höflich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer großzügig freundlich und hell. Großer Kühlschrank ( sogar mit Gefrierfach), bequeme Betten. Frühstück a la carte mit großer Auswahl. Reichhaltig, schmackhaft und frisch zubereitet. Wird am Tisch serviert. Shuttle steht kostenlos zur Verfügung, Fahrer sehr freundlich. Spa ausgezeichnet. Sehr ruhige, entspannte und erholsame Lage. Schöner Pool, gepflegte ruhige Anlage.

Etwas außerhalb am Hang. Für ältere und eingeschränkt bewegliche Personen fußläufig etwas schwierig erreichbar, da relativ steiler Anstieg zu bewältigen ist. Dies ist nicht als Kritik am Hotel zu verstehen. Anordnung der Dusche etwas problematisch, da Bad überflutet wird. Als Hinweis:: Hotel hat kein eigenes Restaurant, bestellt aber gern und günstig per Lieferdienst. Frühstück wird jedoch - wie erwähnt - frisch vor Ort zubereitet. Ebenso können Getränke bestellt werden.

Ein unglaublich netter Service! Alle waren immer super freundlich und bemüht. Wirklich wundervolles Personal. Hier werden wir immer wieder gern herkommen

Wspanialy hotel, położony na wzgórzu co zapewnia ciszę i spokój. Z drugiej strony wystarczy 2 min ,aby dojść do różnych restauracji. Obsługa wspaniały, dbająca o klientow. Hotel zapewnie dowozy na terenie Vung Tau , co ulatwia zwiedzanie miasta. Na pewno tam wrócimy🙂

We have stayed at The Wind Resort before and it has always been lovely this time was also ! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Vung Tau and actually this hotel is probably the best I have stayed in in the whole of Vietnam It's just perfect,staff,facilities and rooms everything is great so peaceful and calming with everything you could want for your stay even a phone for local use and a free taxi bus for local drop off and pickup Everything 💯
