We had drinks in the lounge and the prices were the same as near the cathedral so no overpriced beer. Lovely flower arrangements in the lobby. All in all we enjoyed our 3 nights at this hotel. It was a nice hotel in a great location and would definitely stay there again.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026The building itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential to become a charming hotel in Strasbourg. Unfortunately, in this case, they have not been able to bring that charm to life.
The room was old and worn out, with chipped furniture and dirty corners. It did not provide us with a luxury experience. However, what made our stay truly awful was the breakfast experience the following morning. We were the first guests to arrive early in the morning. As we lifted the tongs from the “Gugelhupf” cake, a swarm of fruit flies rose from it. We then discovered dozens of fruit flies on all of the items served on the buffet. We were able to order egg dishes from the kitchen, but we soon noticed a local stray cat running into the kitchen. According to the hotel staff, this was a normal occurrence and did not raise any hygiene concerns for them. We were absolutely disgusted by this incident, especially in addition to the vast number of fruit flies on the food. This is not the sort of experience we expected from a luxury hotel chain. We were still charged for the breakfast, despite not feeling comfortable eating any of it.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026The location was amazing, the Strasbourg tour guide informed us it’s the oldest purpose built hotel in the city. It’s close to everything and with the valet parking was super convenient. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating.
The room could have been a little bigger, but this is a really minor thing.

The handheld shower head is poorly positioned, and water sprays outside the shower when using it. A fitness would be a great upgrade.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Ontvangst was vriendelijk en hartelijk. Je wordt als een echte gast ontvangen. De kamer was ruim (prestige kamer) en heel schoon. Het ontbijt was ook heel lekker. Onze kinderen komen ook graag weer terug :) De locatie is ook perfect. En gezien wat ik eerder schreef heel fijn om terug te keren na een lange dag Strasbourg ontdekken. Daarnaast is het ook een fantastisch historisch pand dat geweldig is gerenoveerd door de eigenaar met behoud van alle historische details.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026מלון במבנה עתיק ומיוחד ששופץ. קרוב מאד לכל אתרי התיירות בשטרסבורג (3-5 דקות הליכה לקתדרלה). החדר (דלוקס) מאד מרווח והמקלחת מצוינת. הצוות היה נהדר כולל התייחסות אישית של מנהלת המקום. כל בקשותינו לעזרה במציאת מסעדות נענו בצורה מעולה כולל יוזמה שלהם עוד לפני הנסיעה. ארוחת בקר טובה בפאטיו.

The bar service is excellent, and it was nice to sit outside late evening on sweltering days. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will use this hotel again.

The breakfast was outstanding, and the bar area felt like something straight out of a movie set. The staff were absolutely charming and thoughtful. Every evening, they left us chocolates, which was a lovely touch. This is definitely the hotel to choose if you want a fantastic experience in Strasbourg.

Cobblestone entryway was tricky to navigate with luggage but staff helped with our bags and showed us a side road which was easier to get to reception, so no problem.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026L'hôtel est situé dans un bâtiment typique de l'architecture alsacienne. il a été rénové en 2009. En conséquence, les équipements sont récents et d'un très bon niveau. Les chambres sont climatisées, ce qui fut très apprécié en période de canicule. Le personnel à l'accueil et dans les étages est souriant et compétent. Ma chambre donnait sur la cour intérieure, ce qui m'a permis de dormir dans le silence. Etant à l'étage, la chambre ouvrait sur une petite terrasse très agréable. Les petites friandises à l'arrivée dans la chambre ajoutent une note d'attention bienvenue. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, diversifié et d'excellente qualité. L'établissement se situe à quelques pas de la zone de la cathédrale, un peu en retrait, ce qui évite l'agitation touristique.

Leider konnte man erst ab ca. 08:30 im Innenhof Frühstücken. Grundsätzlich verständlich um die Gäste in den Zimmern oberhalb des Innenhofes nicht zu stören. Da aber schon früh Führungen direkt neben dem Frühstücksbereich stattfinden (Menschen die sich auch fröhlich unterhalten) und dann auch Fotos etc. im Innenhof des Hotels gemacht werden ist dies nicht ganz nachvollziehbar. Auch ohne die Tasse Kaffee kann man im Innenhof miteinander reden ...;-) und dadurch evtl. andere stören.

Instructions to find the hotel were backwards and confusing. When actually, you are only a five minute walk from parking.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026Our room seemed removed from the rest of the hotel and was full of furniture that left little room to move around. The staff at breakfast were lovely and there was plenty of choice especially fruit like bowls of raspberries.
The air conditioning unit didn’t have much impact and the room was pretty average. The beautiful exterior was in stark contrast to wherever spent our four nights.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Luxo e conforto na melhor área de Strasbourg. O hotel fica em um prédio antigo e adaptado. É muito charmoso e com todas as comodidades necessárias. O quarto é grande, o banheiro super moderno e a cama é super confortável. O café da manhã é excelente e servido em um salão super charmoso e com mesas no pátio externo. Toda a equipe foi atenciosa e nos ajudou com informações das atrações, do transporte publico e restaurantes.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026外観は文化財のような趣のある建物ですが、内部は新しく綺麗でした。 １階の1号室にグレードアップしてもらい大満足です。 朝食も非常に美味しかったです。
１階の部屋のため昼間観光客が中庭を見学に来ていたのでカーテンを開けるわけにいかなかった。 でも、見学者が来るくらい素敵な建物です。
