Friendly and welcoming, would definitely stay again

Tessa on reception was friendly and welcoming. Room was nice and warm. Found room to be very peaceful as in not noticing noise from other rooms and the road.

Street unit with no double glassing and missing latch on window to close out the traffic noise and also next to rowdy student accommodation

Allie is absolutely lovely. The motel is conveniently located and great to be able to have our dogs.

Rooms need a little bit of TLC decor wise but definitely stable. The rooms were otherwise very clean.

The room was lovely and warm - as the host had turned on our heater. Room had good services.

No complaints. Although one of the tiles on the bathroom floor was loose and moved.

Love that my dog is welcome.

Owner real helpful. Had a faulty heater in room but was sorted quick. Very good with our little elderly dog.

The motel was exactly what we needed for the night. The room had recently been renovated and was warm, clean and cosy. The location was also close to a lot of food options.

room was lovely, cosy and functional for my needs. Was fairly quiet even with some loud functions on nearby with students. Was within walking distance of where my function was.

bathroom could have been a little cleaner, especially the toilet but that may also be more to do with age and previous longterm use of blue toilet cleaner

The heaters for heating and when turned on it tripped the power so had to have them on low which wasn’t much heat and the bathroom needs a heater and a fan

Lovely cleam accommodation. Location was perfect to alot of eateries and the Baaa which is a good local bat. Motel staff extremely friendly and very accommodating, nothing was a problem. Thanks guys Paddy and Kirstie Bohan Chch

Location, parking, friendly staff. Pet friendly, although we didn't take a pet this time. We Thought it was cold at first, but after being informed about the fan heater tucked away in the wardrobe it got quite toasty.

Shower hot water pressure limited. Toilet seat broken. Gap under door created a cold draught. Bottom of shower badly scratched.

Great location - off street parking and dog friendly.

Everything was great, spacious clean room, great facilities, easy walk to Uni.

Someone playing basketball at 3am but that's not the motel's fault! :-)

The motel was perfect for my two day stay. Comfy bed, good facilities. Lovely friendly staff and an easy location for a fast takeaway. All within a short stroll. Botanical gardens nearby.

Party town. Thursday drunken revelry from a house across the street. I’m assuming students. Not the Motels fault in any way, and yes the partiers all finally fell asleep. Well, we did the same thing as youngsters.

Central location, close to Castle Street Good communication from staff, clean room. Basic but sufficient accommodation. Accommodated my late check in.

Right the student area so you could expect some noise. They warned me of this and provided airplugs.

Good parking. Great location near the Forsyth Barr Stadium. Lots of food places nearby.

The shower needed some mould treatment and the handset was leaking which meant the pressure was low. That was the only issue. Otherwise it was a perfectly fine motel unit.

An older dated motel in the suburbs. Free off street parking and EV chargers available. Apartment was upstairs and as it was raining, there is no undercover walkway to the room.

An old dated motel, in the suburbs. Bedroom was a bit tight with room - would be better is the single bed was not in the room. It’s on a busy road, which the noise is noticeable inside the room. But more noticeable was the noise generated by other guests moving around on the walkway outside our apartment and carrying on late into the night around the motel. It was a bit concerning as we were worried about the security and any damage to our hire car. A couple of fast food outlets nearby, other wise it’s a drive to good restaurants and cafes.

Very helpful staff, kindly upgrading our room, so that we were in a quiet position away from the main road. This was hugely appreciated as I had a hospital appointment and an early start.

It was last minute, we needed accommodation so grateful for that.

Our room was right on street, so road traffic noise, noise from students walking by, screaming yelling all hours. Completely understand this is Dunedin but very hard to sleep in downstairs room on the street.

Motel is very central. Rooms are spacious. Great selection of Sky channels. Good sized kitchenette with hotplates. Very friendly hosts.

Everyhting was really good. I was visiting family as as the uni so it was perfect. Good parking and very close to cafes and shops etc. The room itself and just about everything we needed. It was very adequate for the two of us.

On our last day there were some renovations done in the unit below and it started at about 7:30am which we thought was a bit early. Also the heater didn't appear to work in the room but the room itself was relatively warm anyway

Allie and Lindsey are excellent and efficient yet easy-going hosts. Due to some confusion over pay dates and places, I initially paid twice for my accommodation. Allie spotted it before I did and she and Lindsey have done their utmost to ensure that I am refunded accordingly. Storage of my baggage from 10.00 check-out time until early afternoon was no problem.
