It was so noisy I couldn’t sleep. Neighbors were very loud, had to call the reception at 12am but not sure if they talked to them. They have earplugs, it gives and idea of how noisy it is.

No heat in the room, felt very cold in the evening and night time. Noisy environment with lots of noise from neighboring student flats. Facility is clean but a bit old.

Reviewed Dec 14, 2025Arrived exhausted after driving from Tauranga to Dunedin in one hit. They put me in the disabled room with easy parking for my van (collecting my daughter from uni). Had a shower and crashed. Did not wake up in time was slightly late out of the room and the lovely lady said when I returned the key...thought we'd better let you sleep after that long trip. Very very comfy nights sleep

The staff were great, early check in (1pm) as it was all ready for us, and we were able to leave our car in the car park, after checking out the following day, while we walked around. It was much appreciated! The options of fast food are endless, pub, bottle store, shopping is a 10 min walk to town, the gardens are a 10 min walk. And Mac the guard dog assured our car did not get any bird poop on it!!
We lost an hrs sleep with Daylight savings 🙃... other than that, nothing.
