Richmond Hotel

The owner and the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really good, the room was clean and fresh and was cleaned daily,the bed was really comfortable and a great location and a good pint at the bar .

Position. Close to promenade. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Decent breakfast - always nice and hot.

Rooms nice but a bit tired. A few minor repairs and improvements - especially to the bathroom e.g. towel rail missing. One bulb missing in mirror. Plug in sink doesn’t hold water. Then an extra star would definitely have been given.

It was one of the best place I have ever been kind of stuff clean rooms with the best view ever to the sea the most important thing was the staff they’ve been so friendly and open I will definitely try it again next time

The only negative was the pillars on bed were to soft for my liking also had to keep going out of room to use shower and toilet but it was the way the room was designed it wasn't a big concern the stay was ok

Nothing really. I managed to find a parking space right outside but if not so lucky then it's a bit pricy in the nearby car park. No food available apart from breakfast. It's a bit of a way out of the main town but there's a great Italian restaurant nearby.

Excellent location with a huge lovely beach opposite. Great restaurants in walking distance. Managed to get free parking outside the hotel on the road & there's a pay & display car park very close by. Jonathan the owner was great too & very welcoming.

There was just an old chair in the room that needed changing if they couldn’t afford to get a new one put a chair cover over it because it just looks really old. The leather has been worn out. would’ve liked to hand wash gel instead of a bar of soap in the bathroom to wash your hands

Breakfast was OK. Our room was on the 2nd floor and there was a good lift close by. Hotel was in a good location but does not have allocated parking. However we were able to find a free space quite close.

There wasn’t a hair dryer in the room. There was one available on request but it was too late by then. There is a £20 deposit on the TV remote. You need to ask for the WiFi password because there is no information in the room.

Stayed simply because of location for my work. The hotel has seen better days and is a bit tired and in need of a revamp. Jonathan, the proprietor was a great help and very welcoming. Parking was easy, across the road and free. Good breakfast. At almost £100/night for a double/single use it’s not cheap. Weston Super Mare has also see better days after a walkabout.

The location is fabulous, out of the way of the busy town and the staff are absolutely amazing, they make you feel welcome, they are friendly and always offer help, bit shout out to Steve he went above and beyond and needs a payrise!. The breakfasts were amazing and liked the idea of 8-9 as it got you up in the morning to enjoy the whole day.

The room was very small it wasn't a budget room it was a deluxe double, however the bed let us down, woke up with painful backs every morning due to the matress being so uncomfortable.

Room was very very small. Kettle too big to fit under the tap so had to be held sideways making it very difficult . Toilet seat broken and not repaired/replaced after being reported. No hooks on doors to hang anything which given how small the room was would have been useful.

Everything! It's the best place to stay in Weston. Perfect location. Far enough away from the main rd to avoid the noise, close enough for the views and to walk to everywhere worth going. Sit out front with a drink and watch the world go by. Jonathan the owner is a wonderful person. Kind and friendly. We love it there. Can't wait to go back 🙂

If I was being picky, the shower was a struggle to find a balance between too hot and too cold. But apart from that. Excellent as always.

Furniture a little dated

We really liked the hotel as it wasnt a big establishment. lt is situated very close to the beach and town centre. A car park is also very close if unfortunately unable to park in front of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, and the cooked breakfast delivious. The hotel bar is available until 10pm should you fancy a little tipple before bed. Towels and little bars of soap are provided, yoy need to bring other toiletries if required. There are tea and coffee facilities in the bed rooms. We will definitely stay there again.

Proximity to sea front n pubs for shanty festival.

Very little bit v soap n no shower/shampoo gel in bathroom. Suppose we were only there 2 days.

Staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was disappointing as I’d booked a ground floor room due to having 2 disabled parents with me. Even though this had been confirmed the Hotel said they were unaware and we had to travel up a winding flight of stairs.

The host was polite, friendly and very helpful.

I only stayed for one night - arriving late and leaving after breakfast. A very warm welcome from the owner and the place was spotlessly clean. Nice single room with a very comfortable bed. Decent cooked breakfast.

There wasn't a lot not to like to be honest. Maybe a sachet or two of shower gel and the coffee at breakfast was a bit basic.

Told the hotel before booking that my partner was disabled so needed a room without stairs. Was told "it's ok we got a lift" . They put us on the top floor and the lift only worked once before it broke down. My partner could not manage 5 flights of stairs so we cut our stay short. Was not offered another room or any compensation.

We’d booked a room with reviews that had specifically stated it had a balcony . On arrival we were told we had a room without a balcony. We were offered the balcony room with a charge of an extra £20!!! Which we disappointingly paid.

Richmond Hotel One of the best places we've ever stayed for a family break. The hotel is in a great location, close to the seafront, and was clean, tidy, and extremely competitively priced. The staff did their very best to make sure we enjoyed our stay and were always helpful and welcoming. We had a fantastic time and would happily stay again. It's a bijou hotel where the owner is happily part of the experience and his focus on guests is a warm part of the experience. We had upgrade to room with balcony which was lovely to sit out in the sunshine.

Oud hotel, weinig sfeer in de ontbijtzaal. Sanitair en bad/douche zijn aan vervsnging toe. Waterdruk op 2e verdieping was erg laag.

Johnathan and his team made us very welcome. Room was at the back of the hotel and quiet. Breakfast was cooked to order, and was nice. nice terrace to enjoy a drink outside. I would stay here again. Big car park less than a minute away and lovely view from the terrace

Dated decor, bar was not welcoming or comfortable - distinct lack of soft furnishings. Owner watching tv with no ambient music to break silence in the bar. Breakfast could be a lot better: menus should be on tables, quality of food is mediocre. Fried bread was just bread dripping with oil. Nice toast though. Staff serving breakfast wearing unclean clothes which is Not very professional or corporate. Although they were friendly and attentive. Very basic room with very firm mattress. No offer of WiFi. No hooks to hang clothes or towels in bathroom. Have to place deposit to have tv remote too!

It was a lovely friendly hotel which is why we returned for our third visit . We were made to feel very welcome by Steve & Johnathan and nothing was too much trouble . Our room was nice with a sea view and a nice balcony to sit out on . The breakfast was exceptional quality and cooked fresh to order
