I mentioned to the front desk that it was our anniversary and they surprised us with champaign and chocolate covered strawberries!
I arrived around 7pm for one night. There was no one at the front desk and it took them a while to come from the back. There was not a bell or a way to let someone know that you were there. I had booked a suite and went to my room. I noticed there was a sign at the elevator that renovations were going on but there was nothing on their website to let you know that when you booked. It was really dark in the room. Lighting is not great particularly in the bathroom. The drapes were all closed making it even more uninviting. The next morning I was getting ready and got a call at 9:30 am from the front desk saying that housekeeping was inquiring if I was still there…check out is 11. I had put a do not disturb sign on my door. I asked them about this when I went down stairs and they said there was an error in the system saying my room was vacant so they were calling to check…which didn’t make sense. Walls are paper thin so beware. You hear everything. The one good thing was the hair dryer…full size and worked well. Really not up to Hyatt standards and I paid way too much.
Great location, gym, pool and bar! A must stay if you are in the Woodlands. The restaurant had an amazing breakfast selection too.
Great location!!
Hyatt Centric has hosted our annual business event for 3 years but I've never stayed overnight. Boy was I missing out!! Great room, great bed, absolutely love this place!
Comfortable room.
$40.00 charge for valet parking is excessive.
Location was great. Parking was easy. Clean and safe area free from people begging for money or causing trouble.
The TV is so old, not even a Smart TV. The price is a little too high, I don't think it should be $566 for 2 nights. That being said, I would stay here again for the convenience and the safe environment. Also, this is Texas. I understand the 30.07 signage, but the 30.05, 30.06 is pretty ridiculous. In this day and age, traveling with a concealed handgun, especially by a licensed individual is necessary and not unsafe. Once again, this is Texas and you are also located in a very conservative area. Keep that in mind.
As always the Hyatt Centric was a wonderful hotel for our concert staycation. You can not beat the location or service received at the hotel.
This was my first time staying at this Hyatt property. I am usually a "Marriot" customer. But the experience at this hotel was very, very good. Valet and front desk were my first impressions, and they were both outstanding. Room was clean and large. Walk-in shower was GREAT. Ordered room service breakfast and although it was a little pricey, the food quality exceeded my expectations.
This hotel is right across the street from the Cynthia Woods Amphitheater, you can just walk across. Very conveniently located to grocery shopping and the mall.
Perfect location.
Slightly pricey.
If you arrive late, after 11PM, this area is a food desert. All grocery stores and convenience stores are closed. There is one Exxon that you could order from a window, if you knew what you wanted. If you are hungry after a long flight find a 24 hour Whataburger, an option the desk clerk failed to mention to us; we found out about it the next day. Instead we spent a hopeless 45 minutes driving around trying to find an open convenience store and ended up spending $22.73 to get two bottles of water and some ice cream at the hotel. As far as the room, it was very dark, even the lighted makeup mirror was dark. It was so dark you couldn't really see how clean it was. I think I left a couple of inexpensive things behind because it was so dark. There are not enough outlets on the headboard wall for a couple with two CPAPs; my husband had to crawl behind the head of the bed to unplug the phone so he could plug his CPAP in. One side of the bed was worn out, I fell into a hole when I laid down. And the safe quit working before we went to bed the second night. It was overpriced because of the area. If you want to shop at high end stores it might be a good location, otherwise, in my opinion, there is nothing to recommend it. Parking is in a ramp a minimum of a block away, depending how far back in the ramp you have to park. Our view was a roof with air conditioners on it and a dumpster full of debris.
Perfect location in the Woodlands. Friendly and professional staff at the front desk, the bar and the valet. Nice room.
This was my second stay at Hyatt centric without complaints. Room was clean. Staff is friendly. convenient Location. Although area is a little congested. Breakfast was delicious with the exception of my coffee being a bit cold, but the staff was accommodating, especially close to closing. Day three of my stay I found a piece of hair on my face towel which grossed me a but nothing that would prevent me from staying a third time.
Location and the comfort
Value
Myself, husband, and our two year old were in the town visiting some friends and decided to splurge and stay here. We are so glad we did! It’s in a great location and loved having an HEB within walking distance! The valet/bellman were sooo helpful and attentive. The hotel room was spotless. Shout out to housekeeping! The front desk staff were always smiling and ready to help. It was very convenient being able to text the desk when we needed anything. Our room service breakfast was delicious and the attendant was so sweet to us and our baby. Honestly one of the best hotel stays we’ve had in awhile. Every single employee we came in contact with was smiling and very sweet. Made you feel very welcome and at home. You won’t be disappointed staying here.
Room as ver Nice over priced
Everything
We have stayed here several times and keep coming back. The hotel is exceptional with staff and esp. the Valet service, they run to the door to open it for you. Everything is clean and very nice in the hotel and rooms. We just love the location. You can walk out the door and are instantly in the middle of fine shopping and restaurants. No need to get the car. It never disappoints.
Wonderful location, plentiful parking. The hotel staff are gems. Very enjoyable restaurant and beautifully maintained rooms. Will be back
I was disappointed with my recent stay at the Hyatt at The Woodlands. From the moment I checked in, the experience fell short of expectations. The front desk staff was rude and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone right away. Instead of feeling like a valued guest, I felt rushed and dismissed. Valet parking was another issue. There were significant delays both when dropping off and retrieving my vehicle, which was inconvenient and frustrating, especially given the level of service expected at this property. Cleanliness was also a concern. The room did not appear to be properly inspected before my arrival. A blanket taken from the closet had a visible stain on it, which was unacceptable and made me question the overall cleanliness of the room. Overall, this stay did not meet the standards I associate with the Hyatt brand. Better staff training, improved valet efficiency, and more thorough housekeeping would be necessary for me to consider returning
Comfortable rooms. Good shower and bed. Roomy rooms.
The parking up front for check in is tight. We were rushed to check in as only 3 cars can line up at the front entrance. Plus $40 for parking. But there is a free parking garage around corner.
La ubicación, el desayuno a la carta exquisito, la habitación amplia.
Very nice hotel in a great location!
Love this hotel
Great location in the middle of it all.
Great shopping area. Great breakfast menu.
Location, quiet, size of the rooms. Hard to beat
Yes
Good hotel. Beautiful and the faculty was very attentive
Property was very clean and comfortable and all of the guest services agents were very nice overall great stay.
Centrally located for our trip and what we wanted to do in the area. Clean room. Friendly staff.
It was centrally located around all the shops and restaurants which made it very convenient
We liked everything with the exception of the high price.
Price of room.
Comfortable stay. Nice surronding of fancy stores and markets. Public services could be better. Acessible grocery and market place, including mall availble in the block.
Great hotel in a prime location. Fantastic for those attending a concert at Cynthia Woods. Lots of late night options nearby for concert attendees.
Hotel is very nice and clean. It is walkable to the concert venue. I felt safe walking to and from the concert. Staff was very nice.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay for our anniversary weekend. The pool was lovely and customer services were great. The activities they have one site too was nice. Live music Saturday nights!
The location was perfect. Walking distance to the Cynthia Woods Pavillion. We could open the window and listen to the music. Parking was close and there is a lot of parking available. We would definitely stay again.
The pillows are too soft and the bed was a little firm for my liking.
We had a great stay. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The room size was great. Will definitely stay there again. Great location.
We love the location and easy access to shopping and dinning.
Had a nice stay. Was clean and room was great.
Loved the location!

The Hyatt Centric is a GREAT place to stay when going to a concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion!
Literally around the corner from cynthia woods pavilion. We walked to it in less than 5 minutes and my husband and I are in our 70's. They have valet parking which is very convenient. Will stay again in oct for another concert.
Friendly staff, clean accommodations, comfy beds. $6 for water bottles in the room was a little excessive, most places give you the water bottles so you can make your coffee, but that was the only complaint.
Excellent place to do shopping, big accessories, gift home men's fashion sports, women's fashion health and beauty, enjoying fine dining specialty foods. And a lot of that cultural attractions, this is the go to place, surrounded by number of parks and trails. It's home to a lot of greenery and waterfront. open pool, adjacent, a hot tub. Overlooking the skies, the rooms are pretty clean. We were on the 4th floor and it was a very good view. All around breakfast is a little expensive. And Geraldo does a fantastic job of a your attitude. Robin was helpful in getting the order executed quickly. The front disc with dallas della very, very welcoming, enjoyed the stay at hayat will visit again
The room was in disrepair and not as I expected for a $366/night stay. Furthermore, at that price, breakfast should not have cost $15-$20 per person at that room rate.
Great location. Very clean, modern, quiet, comfortable beds
This was the perfect place to go to Cynthia woods pavilion. Would definitely recommend!!
Staying here again is a must, and the highlight? The incredible breakfast! It’s a delicious reason to return!
The location is excellent—having a Starbucks right at your doorstep and being so close to other great eateries was a real plus. However, there are a few areas where the hotel falls short: No Complimentary Bottled Water: It’s disappointing that only Elite members receive complimentary water. Charging $6 for a 500ml bottle in the room feels excessive, especially after paying a premium rate to stay here. This small gesture could go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. Outdated Gym Equipment: The cardio machines are clearly outdated—some still have iPod connectors, which shows how long it’s been since they were updated. A modern refresh of the gym would greatly improve the experience. Limited and Overpriced Breakfast: The breakfast selection was quite limited and overpriced, especially considering the abundance of excellent cafés and restaurants just a short walk away.
Staff, excellent; location, amazing; property, beautiful; water pressure in shower, terrible. Shower turned off multiple times during use.
We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Woodlands during the 4th of July weekend. I truly enjoyed the location of this hotel. It is right in the center of Market Street with easy access to a movie theater, multiple restaurants and retailers, and even an H-E-B. The service provided by the hotel staff was good. They do have a restaurant in the hotel but we didn’t get to try it. The room we stayed at was the basic 2 queen bedroom. The only reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the room we stayed in was essentially 50% bathroom. The bathroom was too large for the room. I would have preferred that more of the space was used for a dining area. Otherwise, I would stay here again if visiting the Woodlands.
The location is the only reason I booked a room. (I live only 45 minutes from Cynthia woodlands pavilion. I will be driving home next time.)The room was adequate but there isn't room service as said online. The rooms are okay at best.
Wonderful team and comfortable rooms with a tailored feel to the friendly service. Parking was easy for our stay at a less crowded time. The garage parking is very close. Fantastic breakfast and Ruben was a wonderful host at the second floor restaurant. Ginger was so helpful as well. Walked a couple of minutes to Tommy Bahamas nearby.
Great stay; loved walking to shops and restaurants. Beautiful pool and deck area.
One of my top hotels to stay in
Nice hotel and location. Could not get the a/c to cool the room properly at night so had a hard time sleeping. Not sure if it is fixed to stay at a certain temp or not but people need a cool room to sleep. This is a boutique hotel so it really needs a few renovations to make it more friendly for female guests. Room also was very dark and needs better lighting. I would still recommend this hotel, but it does need to update a few things.
Great staff, courteous valet, clean rooms.
Nice hotel very close to the music venue. Good restaurants and shopping in the area, including an excellent Cajun restaurant right around the corner. Friendly staff and pleasant setting. Will try to stay there again when going to our next concert there.
Whenever we go to The Woodlands we stay at the Hyatt Centric because of its location. It’s right across the street from The Woods pavilion and restaurants are within walking distance. Service, the bar and restaurant are great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Great place to stay.
Staff was very nice and place was built with a great view.
Not worth the money! Several disappointments. When i met with front desk to check out and let them know of my experience, she admitted "sorry we are going to remodel soon" "we are aware things are bad here!" Not worth the money unless you have a bunch which clearly is expected in this area of Texas
The Hyatt centric is the place to be. They're professional, and very attentive along with Excellent service and great ,happy hour specials. The room was very nice and spacious.,very nice decor. The mattress was super comfortable and the shower heads were Amazing
The front desk staff was wonderfully helpful in all aspects including check in and questions about the local area. They kindly arranged for a balcony room to help us celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary.
No complaints.
Hotel and amenities are very nice and love the location. Several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The Pavilion is about a 5 minute walk so perfect place to stay when going to events there. This is our 3rd time staying here and we'll definitely be back.
The room decor was absolutely stunning, and the front desk staff member who checked me amazing. She was genuinely kind and welcoming. Valet service was also outstanding, prompt, professional, and courteous. A wonderful overall experience!
We had a fantastic family trip staying at the Hyatt Centric The Woodlands. The connecting rooms were perfect for our group, offering both space and convenience. The breakfast each morning was a real highlight delicious, fresh, and a great way to start the day. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. We were just a short walk from the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, and had easy access to a great variety of restaurants and shopping options right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was close by. Overall, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was just right for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Went for an over night stay to escape children and pets for a bit. Very nice bar with a friendly staff. The entire staff from the valet to the front desk staff were courteous and professional. We will definitely stay there again.
Bed is comfy, staff is attentive and friendly, amenities are in line with needs, and the location is perfect with lots to do and see within walking distance. Oh yeah, lots of parking options too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the above mentioned requirements.
Was very pleasantly surprised with the location, proximity to event venue and the surrounding ammenities.
We went to a concert in the Woodlands and stayed here. Check in/out was seamless and everyone was very nice and helpful. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants and the Cynthia Wood Pavilion. The restaurant and bar was very nice. We ate breakfast and it was reasonably priced and good food.
Location was perfect for the Ironman. I was impressed with how much the staff showed they cared about every guest. Always opening the door, helping with luggage, always smiling, and the snacks and drinks they had available for us Ironman athletes. The high level of detail with cleanliness was incredible throughout the entire hotel. The staff took their time thoroughly cleaning every room. I would stay here again.
