The overall hotel was fine.
I paid in advance and the was billed again for my stay. I called the hotel and I was told the manager would call me and did not call. Tried calling again and no answer for over 5 minutes of ringing. I will dispute the bill at my bank and have booking agency I paid through working on this as well.
Excellent breakfast buffet Comfortable and quiet room
Lower prices
The location and all the surrounding food options, including places to drink. It's within walking distance of the movie theater and pavilion.
I didn't like the $40-per-day valet pricing. The valet staff doesn't offer to help with the luggage or have a cart ready. I had to ask for help when it should be automatic, especially given the $40 being charged.
It’s clean, the walk in shower, proximity to restaurants and other events.
The breakfast is pricy compared to other hotels.
Location was close to everything.
They originally gave us a room that wasn’t clean.
Beautiful room, exceptional location. We stayed here and walked to the Woodlands Pavilion for a concert. The waterway is a beautiful walk. 100% stress free concert experience
Very comfortable bed and comforter. I would love to know the brand of it if you will share.
No complaints
Location
Only one bottle of water was provided daily and I think it is not enough.
Walking distance to venue and was so clean. The entire hotel smelled so clean and everything was clean
Nothing
It was accessible to the venue. Very stylish lobby. Very clean room. Quiet AC comfort.
The “didn’t like” is very small.
Dog friendly. Very clean. Comfortable beds
Everything was great
Friendly service with a personal and yet professional touch
Don't stay here. My company is pretty tight with hotels for business travel. Usuallyu Courtyards and Garden Inns. For once this Westin in the The Woodlands was on the list so I gave it a try for 2 nights - normal business. I was excited bc it will be nicer than usual. Nope. It's a Westin and it's usually way north of $300/night so yes it's a nicer hotel but the issues are not forgivable in a hotel that's supposed to be this nice and expensive. Issues 1. Started with the Valet. Pulled up. No one around. I'm blocking traffic. 10 mins later, the guy comes running up. He was nice - just doing his job. Why is there only 1 guy. It's a Westin and lot of people valet bc it's in the middle of a giant shopping area. 2. Called for breakfast at 6:30. Was told 45 mins to hour wait. This is fine if I'm on vacation, I'm not. I'm on business and I don't have that time. 3. 6:45am - leaf blowers start up. Several of them. Extremely loud. Forget about sleeping. Forget about even working in the room. So loud and echoing. 4. Construction in the hotel and outside the hotel. Incredibly loud noises outside my room. I called the front desk to inquire. Was told to call if again if it continues for a while. No call backs. Not willing to check on it now. Simply, we don't really have time for your issues. 5. Small thing but none of the hand-held phones work in the room. I wouldn't care but that how you call the front desk for loud noises all around the hotel - the loudest hotel I've been in - in years. It's also how you order room service (not with your cell and a bar scan - their phone, it's also how you get your valeted car - so how about making at least one of them work. 6. It is walking distance to great restaurants and the theatre but I won't be back. Not worth it. I'll take a quiet Courtyard where I can get breakfast quickly and I'm paying half the rate.
Very clean and elegant
Nothing
Overall, the Westin is a nice hotel and the service was good. However, if you stay on the west side of the hotel, be aware there is a nearby rooftop bar which plays loud music until 1 am. I called the front desk, and they said they could not do anything about it.
The staff was rude and they charge for everything. They had no microwave in the rooms and wanted me to charge me $25 a day to use the microwave.
Courtney and Chris did an excellent job. Best hotel in town.
We had a wonderful experience at the Westin! Courtney at the front desk was especially helpful and accommodating. From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and made us feel like a valued guest. Excellent customer service like this truly makes a difference, and the small details really matter!
Location is great. Bed and bedding supreme. Easy check in and out.
Currently staying here and service is terrible. People entering the room despite a privacy sign being on. Inconsistent housekeeping. Asking for things and no follow through. Room never vacuumed. Really disappointed.
The room was very comfortable and big. The bathroom was roomy. The bed was comfortable and the blankets were amazing. I did receive room service for breakfast on one of my days it I was very pleased with the quality of the food. I also like the extra security of needing to use my hotel card to access the elevator so not just anyone could go on the room floors.
The sound control from room to room could be better. You could hear others from the rooms on both sides of me. The lighting in the bathroom could be better.
Amazing property. Prepare to be spoiled!
The hotel is lovely! Quiet and very clean. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable and are full of windows. The decor is very modern. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which makes it convenient when traveling. The location is walkable to a lot of restaurants also a plus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in this part of Houston.
Our 40th anniversary didn't get the suite we booked. Put a hold on our card went to dinner. Our card was declined because the hold paid cash for our room. Then was charged $1370 for the suite we didn't get. 4 days later we still haven't received a credit for the suite we didn't stay in because the name was under my last and first name instead of my first and last name. Which had nothing to do with us, only the Westin. Now we have 3 overdraft fees and a charge of $50 for a robe that we don't have. 40 years of marriage is a special gift we chose to stay with you. It was a complete disaster. We can't get that back. It is hard even getting our money back. It sure was easy to charge us for 2 rooms, but it seems to be impossible to get the money back for a suite we never got. The view we in the regular room was of a mural on a huge wall. So sad and disappointed. We have stayed here before and beyond upset No one who stays at any reputable hotel should be treated like this on such a special occasion. Patty Brown 281-543-8727
Everything
The staff!! I miss the US so much... This staff (particularly the night staff) was so customer service focused. It brought me to tears to have such a positive experience!
There is a club that stays open until 2 and I heard it even from the 10th floor! HOWEVER, like I said, the staff is incredible. In the middle of the night I told them I could not sleep and they moved me and mom immediately to a quiet room! Just top notch ❤️
Clean and convenient to local restaurants

Comfortable and clean. Great location.
Expensive, but i guess you get what you pay for.
Big pretty room, clean, nice location for being able to walk anywhere.
Comforter was so heavy and hot, only very thick fluffy pillows that hurt my neck but otherwise comfy bed.
THE BED WAS COMFY
ROOM WAS RATHER SMALL
Too slow check in, too slow elevators, never got mobile key, cleaning crew knocked on door at 9am
The location for Ironman Texas. The room size and the shower. The quality of the bed. The food and service at breakfast and at dinner on one evening. The pool and deck on the second floor. The cold water dispenser on the lowest floor.
There was a gross miscommunication between the reception staff and the restaurant staff which resulted in us receiving extremely poor service. Then, when we checked out we were told our bike box could not be stored. Not only is this different to any other hotel we have stayed in it, we were effectively lied to as the hotel was already storing someone else’s bike box.
Perfect location and nice amenities.
The room I got looked nothing like the pictures. I paid more for an upgraded room and I’m pretty sure I got a standard guest room.
The floor was quiet. I was on the 6th floor.
Areas in the room were dusty. No washcloths in the bathroom
The cleanliness, location.
We come to the Woodlands every year for the marathon and usually stay at another hotel, but they were full this year, so we decided to try the Westin. We ended up loving it, and this will be our hotel of choice from now on. The lobby is beautiful, and they have a wonderful Italian restaurant and a Starbucks for convenience. Check-in was easy; we're Marriott members, and they gave us a nice little welcome bag with bottled waters and macarons. We appreciated that. The hotel is located on the waterway with lots of restaurants in walking distance and a pretty area with fountains. Our room was very comfortable with a wonderful king-sized "heavenly bed" as they call it, nice sitting area, large desk, flatscreen tv, small refrigerator, and a coffee maker. The bathroom was nice; I would have liked to have a bathtub, but those seem like they're harder to come by these days. They gave us a coupon for a complimentary cocktail and gelato in their Italian restaurant, but it could only be used between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. which meant we couldn't use it. We had reservations for dinner in the evening; it would be nice if they extended those hours to dinnertime. Other than that we were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back again next year.
It’s was beautifully located out but the waterway.
I never found anything I didn’t like

We had a wonderful stay at the Westin and can’t say enough about the exceptional service we received, especially from Alex. From check-in to check-out, he was consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and Alex truly made it feel special. Upon arrival, he arranged for chilled champagne to be waiting in our room, and throughout the weekend he took the time to clearly explain all the extra touches included in our package. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The view overlooking the trees was peaceful. Our room was very quiet. We had dinner both nights at Sorriso Modern Italian Kitchen, and the food was absolutely fabulous. Hands down the best on-site hotel restaurant food we’ve experienced. I also want to highlight the hotel gym. It was top tier and clearly not an afterthought. It had great space, excellent equipment, headphones, cold towels, and water. Everything you’d want. Since it was January and quite cold, we didn’t get to use the pool. The location is another big plus. Being right on the waterway made it easy to walk to nearby attractions or take a very short drive to additional activities. Overall, Alex’s outstanding customer service was a key reason our anniversary trip was so memorable. We left feeling cared for and celebrated. We we wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.
EVERYTHING
Nothing everything was wonderful
The location was excellent. The staff was very caring and supportive of handicap and handy capable people. The staff made you feel like you were home.
Was supposed to get breakfast, and the breakfast was not given and the one they offered wasn’t worthy
Beware of the $25 resort fee. This is not a resort. Had I known that this place was an extra $25 a night, I would have stayed at another hotel. The fee is buried in the fine print. There is nothing "resort-like" about this place. It's surrounded by parking garages and next to a manmade ditch. There's a club attached to it so it is noisy. You do not get anything for the resort fee so it is basically a money grab.
Beautiful location. Great location.
Valet wasn’t overalls accommodating, pool wasn’t warm enough to swim, no hot tub.
I checked in today and would like to give a big shout-out to Angela. She did an amazing job getting me and my family checked in. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and we truly appreciate her outstanding service.
Me and my family stayed for our wedding weekend, upon check in Johnathon was amazing and helped us with all our check-ins and help when I realized I was short one reservation
Proximity to Cynthia Woods Pavilion, nice property in general.
Pricey property, and parking is unreasonably priced.
I really enjoyed the stay
The location, the comfort of the room itself, and the food at the restaurant
The location was great! I liked being able to walk out the door and be on the waterway.
We were delayed over an hour and a half getting into our room. This was very frustrating and inconvenient. We were late arriving for dinner with friends. Additionally, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the toilet paper was similar to tissue paper, feeling rough.
Such a beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms and located perfectly for walkability!
Very nice hotel. Only issue we had was having to wait over 30 mins at check in for our room. Nobody notified us when it was finally ready. But other than I would 100% recommend the Westin again!
Room was clean but hotel doesn’t have a nice area to gather or relax. Beds are comfortable and bathroom and shower are clean. Hotel is loud at night and staff was not overly welcoming nor accommodating.
Excellent stay as always. Great dining options nearby.
Excellent place to stay for a weekend get away. Plenty of food options and shopping all around. Very walkable area.
We loved everything

Every was perfect
Nice area, plenty to do.
The entire staff made it a fantastic stay during our Sales meetings. ULISES GIL and Jose were both there to help with anything needed as well as Diane Friedland and her team. It was amazing! Top notch!
The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, and there was easy access to the waterway for a lovely stroll. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and a free trolley was available. The room location was slightly noisy, but they provided earplugs to help with this issue. One area for improvement would be updating the technology. There are only USB charging ports, and I have a USB-C port. I have an adapter, but I forgot to bring it with me. Overall, I had a wonderful time at this hotel and would definitely stay again. I highly recommend it!
Great place to stay and enjoy walks by the water
Our room was so comfortable and clean and the staff was very welcoming and professional.
Very relaxing stay. Went for a concert that unfortunately cancelled that evening, but the hotel was in walking distance from various places to dine and stores to shop.
Outstanding stay!! Perfect location
Would definitely stay again best hotel in the Woodlands
The hotel was amazing! Very comfortable and extremely clean with cute bathroom accessories and loved the bottle of sleepy time, scent! The food was delicious and the outdoor infinity pool was fabulous! We will definitely be back!
