The hotel is located very near to local restaurants and coffee shops. The building is very well maintained and rooms same. The front desk staff were very pleasant and assisted us with sites worth visiting.

Het is een mooi designhotel op een geweldige locatie. Ook leuk om de permanente Dali-expositie te zien.

Het wordt wel tijd om eens te renoveren: de linnenkast was gedateerd, er was een deur uitgehaald en de onderste plank ligt los. De glazen badkamerdeur loopt makkelijk uit de rails. Er zat een scheur in het gordijn. En bij het douchen kon je lezen dat vorige bezoekers hartjes hadden getekend op de glazen wanden.

Lovely building in a very central location in the old town. Close to all the sights and with lovely helpful staff. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Air con didn’t work that well in our room. Lots of unnecessary gadgetry. Breakfast was rather chaotic, coffee machine not working properly and a limited number of breakfast items. There are some lovely bakeries near by where you can buy coffee,cakes and baguettes. The man on reception was very helpful but had his hands full at the desk as well as sorting out breakfast. We would stay again because of the location and staff but would probably eat breakfast elsewhere.

The location has always been one of the positive points about this small boutique hotel.

My wife and I have been coming to this hotel since 2018. Unfortunately we have seen the hotel deteriorate without any upkeep to the sad situation it is now. We had booked a double bedroom and were given room 101. The airco which was working when we arrived (it was 30° celsius outside) soon had a malfunction so that by the time we went sleeping it was 24° celsius in the room. The washbasin was clogged so that turning on the tap left the basin to fill up. The trash basket in the bathroom had not been cleaned so that we were left with the previous occupants trash. My side of the bed had stains on the sheets. The room shows wear and tear with stains, flaked paint and rusted places in the shower. The next morning we noticed that the breakfast downstairs has been reduced from a full english breakfast (with scrambled eggs or other) to a lean croissant and bread offering with jam and some meats. Both the coffee machine and the orange juice machine were not working when we arrived however the man at the front desk was able to fix it. We have decided that this was our final visit to this hotel as the owners are clearly not interested in keeping the old standards up to a 4 star hotel (and price!). Too bad as this boutique hotel could -with the necessary upkeep- remain one of the perfect overnight stays in Gerona.

Kulahtanut ja epäsiisti hotelli. Huone oli huonosti siivottu ja loukkomainen. Näkymä oli naapuritalon seinä. Aamiaistarvikkeet oli lämpimässä koko aamun ja usein loppuivat kesken. Maksimissaan 2 tähteä, ei missään nimessä neljää.

Great location, welcoming staff.

A shower that didn’t work, a basin with black mold in the corner, dust on the light fittings above the bed. A flood in the bathroom at 11.30pm with the leak coming from the floor above. A call to the night staff just resulted in ‘leave it until the morning’. We had to leave for an early flight and exiting the hotel was a challenge with no where to leave the room keys.

Necesita un repaso a fondo, no vi las 4 estrellas en nada, salvo la ubicación. Mucho calor por la noche, imposible dormir, a/c a 18 grados y la temperatura de la habitación no bajó de 25. La sábana bajera era una sábana encimera, sin elástico y que apenas entraba dos dedos bajo el colchón, resultado, con la de vueltas que di por el calor, me pasé la noche levantándome para poner bien la sábana. Lo que se supone era un aplique de pared, no era más que un colgajo con un casquete, pero sin bombilla. Podría extenderme, pero ahora que he visto comentarios de clientes anteriores, entiendo que no sirve de nada exponer las deficiencias porque no las corrigen. Definitivamente no es un hotel de 4 estrellas.

La habitación le faltaba una puerta en el armario, la dutxa tenía moo negro, el flexo del tubo de la dutxa , perdía agua , el fleflo fijo con una capa de cal, y por último el aire acondicionado un ruido insoportable.Habitacion 204 En el desayuno, las mesas son recoger y estaboms solos son nadie que nos pudiese atender . Me dejé un espejo de aumento en la habitación , habitación que dejamos a las 12:00h en punto por qué a menos 5 , ya estaban tocando la puerta las chicas de la limpieza. Dejamos las maletas hasta las 18:00h mas o menos.. Cuando llegue y vi que no tenía el espejo... me enfade por qué las chicas tenían que ver que había un espejo que no era del hotel y tenian que haberlo comunicado en recepción y en recepción haber visto que nuestras maletas todavía estaban allí (tube que llamar yo y preguntar por el espejo) Luego un detalle que no tuvieron (en la reserva puse que era para un regalo de un 60 cumpleaños) y todo y comentar los fallos el primer día, no hubo ni el detalle de una botella de cava ni de nada.

La chambre que nous occupions mérite un entretien: chasse d'eau défectueuse, rideaux décrochés, lampes pleines de poussière. A notre arrivée, l'ascenseur s'est bloqué entre le rez-de-chaussée et le premier. Nous avons finalement pu sortir et passer par les escaliers encombrés par les les chariots de linge. La dame qui nettoyait la chambre à côté de la nôtre avait placé son matériel devant notre porte; elle nous a vus mais nous avons dû lui demander de dégager l'entrée!

La suciedad al entrar en la habitación (nos quejamos y limpiaron algo más). El aire acondicionado incontrolable desde la habitación: o se ponía a 18º sin posible regulación, o se apagaba y se volvía una sauna. El mobiliario estaba viejo. Las toallas rotas. No zapatillas (que se anunciaban).

Incredible location. Staff member (American english, sorry forgot your name!) was an incredibly nice man and made me feel very welcome. Great beds, shower and toiletries. Really recommend this place.

We loved the decor, a beautifully restored old building and the elegant solution to a bathroom in the room. Location could hardly be more central. Wonderful staff! I would've liked to learn more about these Legends of Girona

There was a kerfuffle at check out when we were unexpectedly asked for $60 for breakfasts. Beware when you book on the booking.com site there is an option for breakfasts ($13 each, tho we were charged $15 . . receptionist couldn't explain that) which we could not find on the mobile version, tho he showed it to us on the desktop version. The whole affair left a less-than-positive taste in what was otherwise a wonderful stay.

J’ai occupé la chambre 103 qui n’est absolument pas conforme à un hôtel 4 étoiles. Comme vous pouvez le constater sur les photos la chambre et son mobilier sont dégradés, la salle de douche est sale avec du moisi et dégradée. Pas acceptable pour un 4 étoiles comme le reconnaît l’hôtel qui en dédommagement propose une nuit dans les 6 mois à venir. Ils savent parfaitement que nous ne pourrons pas revenir. C’est malhonnête. Une remise sur le prix de la chambre était la solution à nous proposer. Lorsque je leur ai fait remarquer, je n’ai plu eu de réponse

La ubicación. Cada habitación tenía el nombre de una leyenda y en el interior la explicación de ella. El lavabo amplio con amplio surtido de amenités. La ducha excelente, con columna tipo spa pero muy fácil de utilizar.

Quizás el ruido del aire acondicionado, no supimos o no pudimos suavizar el ruido del aire. De todas formas, enfriaba muy bien, cosa que se agradece en esta época de calores.

Das Hotel hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Die Einrichtung in unserem Zimmer war teilweise schon recht abgewohnt. Die Lage des Hotels in der Altstadt ist hervorragend. Das Frühstück ist nicht besonders.

L’Hotel est incroyablement bien placé, Impossible de faire mieux! L’hôtel est impeccable et il a du charme. Il s’inscrit esthétiquement dans l’esprit de Gerone qui est une ville magnifique dont on parle trop peu. Un accueil sympathique, un garage en face de l’entrée de l’hôtel dans un quartier on on ne peut pas se garer 😅 que demandez de mieux? Rien

La limpieza del hotel, estaba sucio, las duchas con moho, las cortinas descolgadas, paredes desconchadas y sucias. La ducha goteaba toda la noche. A la hora de irnos no tenian el mando del garaje y tuvimos que esperar a que llegara la Dtora a abrirnos mas de 20mn y no pidio ni disculpas. Impresentable. Para nada es un 4 estrellas, como mucho 2. Las fotos no corresponden para nada con la realidad. Deben ser de hace 20 años. Si estais pensando en reservar habitacion aqui no lo hagais.

Location is awesome, walked up to the cathedral about 5 mins away. Parking is literally opposite the hotel entrance.

Aircon was not working on the whole floor, it took about three notifications to the front desk, but they eventually moved us with no complaint. Front desk guy was awesomely helpful!

The location was perfect and the staff were wonderful, they couldn’t have been more helpful. It was a beautifully decorated hotel, in terms of artwork. It was quite quirky and a happy place to be.

There wasn’t a table or chairs in the junior suite. Instead there were 2 beanbags (not really suitable for adults). The room itself needed attention - scratches on floor, laminate missing. There wasn’t a place handy to put clothes. There was a shelf under a little staircase for clothes which was blocked by the clothes that you put on hangers. This made it a little difficult. Having said all that. We were there for 4 nights and grew very fond of the place,

La ubicació si vols estar dins el casc antic i l.amabiitat dels recepcionistes.

No senbla un hotel de 4 estrelles. Sembla una mica tètric. A part de no fer dinars ni sopars, tampoc s hi podia esmorzar perquè com que no tenien reserves d,esmorzars, van decidir no oferir buffet. El comandament de la tv no funcionava perquè les piles estaven esgotades i no sabien si en trobarien de noves... L.habitació doble correcte però petitíssima! Relació qualutat-preu, no repetiria en absolut sino és per estar al barri vell de Girona.

Location was great and easy for our taxi driver, down one way streets in the old town. Room was fine, nice and cool with the aircon. Bathroom was ok. Mexican receptionist from TJ was super nice, all the other staff were fine, not friendly but fine. Everything is operated by a touch pad on the wall, curtains, lights, etc. Fridge was a bonus. good location

Quite expensive for what it is, staff were ok but seemed like they didn't really want to be there, other than the Mexican gentlemen who was very nice.

The location is perfect and the museum is fun to look around. The staff were really fun to talk to, especially to gentleman from Zamora. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was great.

The shower took a long time to heat up, and the tv refused to connect to the WiFi even with staff help. The air con was either on or off and did not adjust itself to a set temperature.

Pratiquement tout, à commencer par sa magnifique position dans une magnifique ville; la décoration intérieure et extérieure, la chambre confortable et moderne (certains dispositifs électroniques permettaient de régler air conditionné et ouverture/fermeture des rideaux 😀) le personnel sympathique et (presque toujours) disponible.

Le garage n’avait pas un accès très facile, nous n’avions pas une très grande voiture… et heureusement, les murs étaient pleins de marques des voitures probablement un peu plus longues que la nôtre. Le tuyau flexible de la douche aurait dû être changé car il perdait autant d’eau qui sortait du pommeau ; j’en ai parlé au réceptionniste, il m’as répondu qu’il serait monté pour contrôler…je crois qu’il doit toujours le faire.

Nous en étions à notre cinquième séjour et cette fois nous avons été déçus, les équipements de l'hôtel vieillissent mal, installations électriques bringueballantes, la climatisation difficile à règler. Vraiment dommage, avoir à demander des Slippers! DOMMAGE

Ens van donar l'habitació quasi a les 16 h .Les llums del bany es tenien que tancar/obrir des de un panell que era a tocar de la porta de l'habitació. L'aire acondicionat feia molt soroll. L'habitació té 2 pisos amb un "sofa" curvilini que sembla que es per follar i que bruteixa

Air con was a little noisy , the window was small, some lighting did not work and broken open electric switch in the bathroom next to sink . Nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. The maid did not clean the room on the second day, not enough shower gel and soap.

The parking was terrifying. Trying to get in and out with a hire car of that tight underground carpark. We also got locked in the stairway area in the dark until I rang to get us out. The shower was awful. Leaked all across the ceiling and it was damaged. The lights didn’t work properly and the electric curtains only opened one side. The flowers in the pots on the balcony were dead and one of the bedside tables were damaged. For how much I paid I expected much better.

Très bon emplacement, on peut tout faire à pied . Tout est à proximité : basilique, resto, bars, superette. Le parc La Devesa est à 15mn à pied, platanes centenaires , bel ombrage...le marché du samedi est 👍

Si vous avez une voiture de type Berline, évitez le garage de l’hotel car on a du mal à manoeuvrer dans les ruelles. A 15mn à pied ,il y a des parkings gratuits en surface ou des parkings payants souterrains

On arrival we were requested to provide credit card (for security, room was already paid via booking.com), name and address etc, and email address. Shortly after checking in I received what appeared to be a phishing email asking me to click a link to confirm (or decline) a credit card payment for this hotel, with the last 4 digits of my credit card. The email looked like it was from a hotel email address but the link was to an unknown and/or unrelated website (cloudbeds dot com). I did not click anything, and reported it to booking.com. Either the hotel is doing something suspicious with information provided, or someone has hacked into the hotel system to send phishing emails. Either way, bad security. I don't know what I would do differently knowing this, it's not unusual to provide this information and a credit card when checking in. But it's the first time I received a payment request for a room already paid for. Maybe offer a cash deposit instead of a credit card? Ask hotel if their system has been checked and updated?

Très bon emplacement, Accueil correct, Décoration RDC et couloir.

Accès voiture difficile Idem pour le parking, Chambre très sombre : deux fenêtres en face de murs, Commandes électriques (lumières, rideaux, climatisation) complexes, Coffre fort inutilisable (on nous a proposé celui de la réception), Mobilier bas de gamme, sombre et vieillot. Petit déjeuner juste correct. Bref, rien d'un 4 étoiles.
