Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war sehr gut und schön. Mir hat das Bett gefallen und die Klimaanlage.

Zentrale Lage

Very comfortable and beautifully decorated room with a lovely neoclassical style. We asked for a room on a high floor and got exactly what we wanted. The large double bed had a great mattress and was very comfortable to sleep in. The hotel is in a central location, around 10 minutes’ walk from the main square. Very pet-friendly and welcoming to our dog, which we really appreciated.

Everything was great! Breakfast could have had a bit more variety, but the coffee was excellent.

La gentilezza dell'operatrice ai piani. La colazione , ricca e abbondante, la stanza pulita ,la posizione centrale della struttura.

Non mi e' piaciuto il fatto cje on una posizione cosi centrale la struttura non disponga di un parcheggio suo proprio e chr, quondi, si e' gioco forza costretti a lasciare il veicolo in un parcheggio a pagamento li' nei pressi con una tariffa improponibile. Credo che queste vose vadano scritte nella descrizione dei servizi. Non e' un albergo che dispone di un parcheggio laddove per parcheggio si intende posto macchina di proprieta o concessione alla struttura e se non gratis, almeno con prezzi discutibili. Quindi se vercate un albergo zona centrale, l hoyel in questione e' vivamente consigliato ma se cercate un albergo con parcheggio, non e' consigliato benche vi dia la possibilita di sostare 10 minuti li' davanti per lo scarico/carico bagagli. Mooie kamers, we hadden een superior. Net wat groter en meer comfort. Parkeren tegen gereduceerd tarief goed geregeld. Ligging tov centrum goed.

Kleine lounge, koffiecupjes moesten we bijkopen. Dat vonden we wat zuinig.

Prachtig ingericht met oog voor detail. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk en verzorgd ontbijt! Fijne kamer met veel ramen en 3-dubbel glas. Redelijk stille airco. Uitstekende locatie.

Nous sommes arrivés à c’est établissement en nous indiquant un parking pour stationner mon véhicule. Me précisant qu ils nous rembourseront pour le stationnement de celui ci sauf que le lendemain ils nous ont informé que je m étais trompé de parking . Je ne vais pas en rester là la et je vais passer le dossier à mon service juridique …

La camera è bella e il letto a baldacchino con materasso spettacolare . Situato in centro vicino all'ospedale maggiore e al parcheggio multi piano. Nella piazza antistante ci sono le fermate degli autobus .

The room was lovely, clean and spacious enough. The location of the hotel was great for us to explore and shops were on the doorstep. The hotel staff were very helpful in explaining the local area and things to do. Giving us advice on buses to catch to get to places we wanted to see. They sorted out taxi's for us as well.

The hotel itself was fantastic, beautiful communal areas, our room was very spacious & comfortable, and breakfast was very good with plenty of options

Das Zimmer war leider sehr dunkel.. dafür sehr ruhig bei sehr befahrener Straße nach vorne hin. Die Stadtsicht war ein Hinterhofschacht, was aber bei 35 Grad Hitze nicht so schlimm war. Und eine Glastür war durch dicke Vorhänge bedeckt Es roch sehr stark nach Mottenpulver im Zimmer.. war nicht zu klären, woher? Die Klimaanlage war durch uns nicht steuerbar.. das Frühstück wurde während wir noch am Tisch saßen vehement abgeräumt, damit man auch um 10.00 Uhr gar nicht mehr sich in dem Bereich aufhalten wollte… das war schade, denn der Bereich wurde durch nichts anderes genutzt

We moesten 2x vragen of het doucheputje kon worden ontstopt omdat het water bijna niet wegliep.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It was very clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The air conditioning and elevator were definitely a big plus. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and we would happily recommend it!

- Hôtel le plus propre qu’il m’ait été donné de voir jusqu’ici! Mention spéciale pour la femme de chambre (celle au chariot rock&roll qui s’occupait du 4e étage) qui trouve toujours une petite attention pour le vacancier, comme plier le pyjama ou laver les tasses personnelles utilisées. - Les chambres sont grandes et confortables.

- Pour un hôtel 4*, un plateau bouilloire ou machine à café dans la chambre serait bienvenue. - Le petit déjeuner est un peu sommaire par rapport à ce que nous avons l’habitude dans ce type d’hôtel. Le choix est assez limité et il n’y a pas de pain frais.

Die Unterkunft ist nicht so zentral gelegen wie angenommen. Zusätzlich verfügt sie über kein eigenes Parking. Frühstück sehr beengt und nicht sehr gut.

Personale gentile e professionale, pulizia dell’albergo eccellente. Posizione perfetta per visitare la città . Il check in è stato veloce e la camera era pronta prima del previsto.

La posizione per visitare Trieste, la pulizia e la gentilezza del personale. La struttura, seppur datata, è tenuta benissimo e conserva tutto il suo fascino

Unser Aufenthalt im Victoria Hotel Letterario war einfach fantastisch!!! Besonders hervorzuheben war das überaus freundliche Personal und dessen Bereitschaft, den Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis zu machen. Das Hotel wurde auf einem sehr hohen Niveau ausgestattet. Die Inneneinrichtung des gesamten Hotels ist sehr geschmackvoll/schön. Wir haben die Suite bewohnt, die eine sehr anstandige Größe hatte und wurde so eingerichtet, dass sie den modernen Bedürfnissen gerecht wurde. Wir kommen defintiv wieder.

Ausgesprochen nettes und freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer war sehr gut klimatisiert. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und alles was das Herz begehrt!

Zimmer gegenüber dem Fitnessraum, wo rücksichtslos Gäste die Gewichte nach 22.00 Uhr am Boden fallen ließen! Sehr unfreundliche Gäste aus unserem Heimatland, aber hat uns nicht gewundert!

The location was great, despite the fact, that the hotel is near a main street, you could not hear anything in the room. The stuff was very polite, nice and attentive to the small detail. My personal highlight was the bike garage, because I arrived after a long bike tour and not every hotel has one. I also received a room upgrade, so I really-really had a nice stay. Thank you!

Close to the center

Everything was nice. Maybe keep the parking spot free for check-in. I didn't have much time to unload the luggage because I had to park in the spot reserved for disabled personnel

Der Charme des alten Hotels, die Ausstattung und die Liebe zum Detail hat mich begeistert. Die Motorradgarage befand sich stilvoll in einem alten Gewölbe nebenan.

A genuinely special stay, starting with the building itself: this is one of James Joyce's former homes in Trieste, and there's something quietly moving about spending the night in the same rooms where he actually lived. If you have any interest in literary history, this alone makes the Victoria worth choosing over a more generic hotel. Beyond that, it's simply a well-run, comfortable place to stay. The room was spotless, and the staff were consistently courteous and attentive throughout — the kind of service that makes you feel looked after without being intrusive. The décor has a slightly retro feel to it, but it suits the character of the building rather than feeling dated — it would look wrong if it were all sleek and modern. Breakfast was good, though the selection isn't huge — enough to set you up for the day, not a lavish spread. The location is excellent: about 10 minutes on foot from all the main sights, tucked just behind San Giusto hill, so you get a quieter base without losing any convenience.

Lovely little boutique hotel, a little way from the centre but taxi readily available. Room clean, new 'vintage features, nicely modernised. Breakfast simple but more than sufficient . Lovely little art deco library/event room with connection to James Joyce.

Couldn't find any English language TV specifically news. Only lounge area small section of room where breakfast served.

La stanza presentava una " vista" sul muro adiacente, in una posizione che penalizzava l'ingresso della luce .

Lage gut, 20 Minuten bis zur Innenstadt. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal.

Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer ohne Tageslicht, dafür sehr ruhig.

La zona es perfecta. En una calle principal con muchos sitios buenos locales para comer y enfrente del barrio antiguo. A 10-12 min del canal y todo lo importante. La habitación SÚPER confortable. Muy limpia.

El hall no está reformado como las habitaciones, por decir algo. Porque está perfecto y cumple su función. Lo que pasa es que las habitaciones están nuevas.

Das Ambiente und die Ausstattung waren sehr schön, haben sehr edel gewirkt und waren sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, die Auswahl war mehr als ausreichend. Und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und um unsere Zufriedenheit bemüht.

Die Zimmertür hat nicht sehr gut geschlossen - d.h. bei verschlossener Tür haben wir trotzdem sämtliche Geräusche und Gespräche aus dem Gang und Stiegenaufgang so gut gehört, als wäre die Tür geöffnet.

La ubicación, sobre todo si se quiere entrar y salir de Trieste y evitar las congestiones o zonas de tráfico limitado de Trieste.

Más atención a pequeños detalles como una leve fuga de agua fuera de la puerta de la ducha.

L'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel. A l'arrivée, la chambre simple que j'avais réservée a été remplacée par une chambre double pour plus de confort et sans supplément. Chambre parfaite, immense salle de bain, élégante et pratique.

Confort situation

Pb de réseau wifi très instable

Nice location on a main street in Trieste. Beautiful room with canopy bed and fireplace. Roomy bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast. (Junior suite).

Room had no view, but it was quiet. We opted for quiet room with shower versus view room with bath.

The Hotel has a personality in each detail, I loved it. Despite being in the center, noise is contained. Check in/check out very well organised and fast.

Selection for breakfast, could have been definitely better and wider.

La posizione è più che accettabile, ma non certamente centralissima.

La sala/salone della colazione è piccola. I tavoli sono molto ravvicinati e creano un certo disagio. Si attende qualche minuto di troppo prima che venga servito il caffè/te o altra bevanda calda.

Das Bad war etwas klein, aber ausreichend. Das Hotel liegt an einer stark befahrenen Strasse, dadurch kann es mit unter etwas laut werden. Dafür ist man zu Fuss aber schnell im Zentrum.

Very helpful staff !! Nice breakfast buffet. Best coffee we had in Trieste (Urban Cafe) was just a short walk down the street.

only two tight spots to stop the car and unload or load the luggage. And then you need to drive to a garage that is a few blocks away and the streets are very narrow

Very busy street, airco and safe were not working. They make a picture of your passport without permission and rolling their eyes and being rude when to ask them not to make a picture.

Staff was a bit cold. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating but compared to the other six hotels we stayed in on our European trip, we were hoping for a more welcoming front desk.

Sehr nettes Personal, sehr sauber, schöne Einrichtung , tolles Frühstück, gute zentrale Lage, einfach super!

Also für ein Zimmer um 400€/Nacht ist die Erwartung höher, Wasser und Kaffeekapseln im Zimmer sind Kostenpflichtig, Sauna kostet extra und nicht wenig. Wäre OK, wenn das Zimmer 150€ / Nacht kosten würde.

Beautiful property and excellent breakfast! The room was comfortable but a bit small for two suitcases. Very clean.
