Krabi Tipa Resort

Room: We had an Ocean View Executive room which was fabulous. It was at the back of the resort with the jungle behind the building and had an amazing view. We also had the infinity pool and swim up bar at the bottom of our building. The golf carts were nearly always available to drive us up the hill if we needed it and it was no problem for us to walk down. The room was clean and comfortable and a nice big balcony we could sit on even if it was raining. Location: Excellent location with shop, restaurants and the beach all within easy walking distance. All in all we thought it was great value for money.

Krabi Tipa är som en oas med mkt växt o djurliv så väldigt fint! Byggd uppför berget, brant, men resorten serverade med golfbuggys och körde dig upp o ned när man helst önska! Städning varje dag! Infinitypoolen högst upp fin, med fin utsikt!

Frukosten var medioker. Resorten lite nergången behöver uppfräschning av bungalow delen där vi bodde, men ok!

It was beautiful, the staff were lovely and the location was amazing!!

Breakfast is something I always include when choosing a place to stay, so unfortunately, this resort fell short in this area. During breakfast each day, some of the food was left uncovered for extended periods, which attracted flies and bees around the food. From a health and safety perspective, this was concerning. As a result, I felt limited to eating only the foods that were covered, which reduced the variety available to me. Because of this, I chose not to have breakfast at the resort every morning. I hope the resort addresses this issue, as maintaining properly covered and protected food should be a basic priority for guests’ health and comfort.

La piscine vraiment extra avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. Le personnel vraiment extra.

Le lit. Dur comme du bois. J’ai demandé d’ajouter un puis 2 surmatelas mais ça n’a pas vraiment changé la donne. J’aime bien les lits fermes mais la c’était comme dormir sur du béton. Des ressorts de voiture. Du coup repos moyen après 11 nuits passées dans l’hôtel.

Het zwembad was zo enorm mooi en zo een uitstekend uitzicht. Je kon er eten en drinken bestellen, alleen soms te lang gewacht voor de bestelling. Eten is wel echt lekker. Wilde niet meer van het zwembad weg. Het ligt ook zo goed centraal heel dichtbij de restaurantjes en de pier waar je de longtail boat kan nemen voor island boat tours. Had wel erg last van geluidsoverlast van de airconditioning. We kregen toen een ander kamer met wat rustiger airconditioning.

De airconditioning had een enorme luide geluid. Omdat onze kamer pal ernaast stond. Nadat we een ander kamer kregen was het wel beter. En elke keer moeten wachten voor de buggy om opgehaald of afgezet te worden vond ik irritant. Ze waren ook traag met handdoeken service.

Didn't like the fact that you had to pay 2000 Thai baht upfront as a deposit or bond with no prior warning and if you pay on card you don't get it back for a month that's ridiculous and that needs to change.

El Resort es muy bonito, el personal es muy amable. La habitación es grande, sin embargo, había muchísima humedad y teníamos la ropa mojada, al baño le faltaba luz y la ducha no iba muy bien.

L’emplacement se trouve à quelques pas de la plage et de la rue principale. L’hôtel propose la meilleure vue d’Ao Nang à condition de prendre chambre avec vue mer. Le fait que l’hôtel soit en retrait de la rue cela permet d’être constamment au calme. Un service de voiturette est disponible 24h/24 pour nous déposer à notre chambre.

La propreté laisse à désiré.. C’est dommage parce que le complexe pourrait être beaucoup mieux que ça. Idem pour la tenue des jardins extérieurs, la propreté de la piscine. Les déchets au sol ne sont pas ramassé systématiquement. Je n’ai pas apprécié non plus l’humidité dans la chambre et la clim qui est compliqué à réglé.. Peut être dû au fait que l’on soit en basse saison et qu’il y a un manque de personnel en cette période

La piscina

La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca de las calles principales de Ao Nang, restaurantes, lugares de masaje y todo lo necesario para disfrutar la zona. El complejo es muy amplio y rodeado de naturaleza, algo que personalmente disfrutamos mucho porque nos gusta caminar y apreciar el entorno. También nos encantó la piscina infinity y, en general, el lugar nos pareció muy cómodo y agradable. Por las distancias dentro del complejo, en ocasiones puede ser necesario utilizar el carrito de golf para llegar a algunas áreas, pero para nosotros eso no fue un problema.

La piscina cierra bastante temprano y nos hubiese gustado poder disfrutarla una o dos horas más durante la noche. También, en algunas ocasiones cuando regresábamos tarde, la persona encargada del carrito de golf parecía molestarse por tener que llevarnos y el trato no fue el mejor. Fuera de esos detalles, nuestra experiencia fue excelente.

This hotel may have been at the top of its game back in the day but it is way past that now. Many of the services and facilities that were apparently once on offer are no longer; we were shown a map of the resort on arrival which indicated many facilities were available, including more than one restaurant, however. Cafe Mood appears to have been closed down for some time, the pool table has ‘out of order’ signs on it which have clearly been there for a long time, the ‘kids club’ with ‘library’ is a tiny, bathroom-sized room with a few bits of plastic furniture and no books. The laundry service doesn’t operate. In terms of 4 star standards, this just isn’t it; I had to ask for more pillows in the room as we were given one each, the pool towels supplied are basically large tea towels (guests are told not to use their room towels at the pool), there are no cushions on the loungers, daily room cleaning is minimal, the breakfast buffet is of backpacker hostel standard. We were put off the breakfast when my husband watched a staff member remove a spoon from the jam which was covered in bees and drop them into the toaster to kill them. We mostly ate elsewhere for the rest of the week or ate the basics if we were leaving early for an excursion. The staff are pleasant enough but seem to do the basics. The staff members at the infinity pool bar had very little in the way of work to do but, instead of proactively clearing up dirty dishes and glasses from the poolside, they mostly watched TV on their phones. Overall, it’s pretty soulless; there is no buzz about the place, nothing keeping guests there instead of going into town for dinner and drinks.

Love that you have the option to be driven/picked up from your room via golf cart if you need. Can be quite hard to navigate at first however once you get the hang of the area, it’s easy to walk around. The pools were very nice, relaxing and clean. Super convenient location - lots of local food stalls/restaurants right outside as well as yum food at the restaurant located on site! (The spaghetti bolognese was amazing btw). 7/11 and ATMs located right outside and has a huge driveway on entry for tour collections or even just airport drop offs. The staff are so kind and accommodating. Comfortable beds - pillows are soft. I also really liked that they provided an extra towel for swimming you just can’t loose it otherwise you’re charged for it.

The room was really spacious and clean. It had everything you need. Aircon was a bit noisy but looked brand new and functioned perfectly. Having a fridge and kettle was a bonus and something we used every day. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of food to choose from and served outdoors which we love.

The beds are very firm but this is not uncommon in Thailand. We had a bungalow style room half way up the hill - the downside was that there was a unit on top of ours and it was really noisy especially when the people on the top floor were up after we went to bed - every footstep was heard.

Het was ge-wel-dig! Het was er erg mooi, werd zeer goed onderhouden en was heel netjes. Je kon met de golfkarretjes omhoog worden gebracht, wat ook erg welkom was met het warme weer. Het zwembad was netjes, de kamers met uitzicht geweldig. Heel erg genoten hier én ook nog eens super dichtbij alles.

Peaceful place, close to beach and long tail boat service. Lovely setting slightly uphill. Away from the noise and hustle bustle of Ao nang. Lovely infinity pool. If there were any issues- they were resolved quickly. Kind and helpful staff. Would stay again

No lifts- We were on the third floor which meant that it was a heavy climb to the at the end of a long day exploring. This I guess was fine for us but not suitable for elderly. Bags were carried up the hill by golf cart and staff carried up stairs to rooms.

Le petit déjeuner était moyen Le jacuzzi fuyait Nos voisins fumaient de l’herbe tous les soirs lorsqu’on a appelé la réception on a dit de fermer les fenêtres …donc impossible pour nous de profiter du balcon Nous étions avec nos 3 filles et on leur a donné des chambres très éloignées (nous étions au bloc 7 tout en haut et elles au premier bloc donc tout en bas) j’ai demandé à ce que leurs chambres soient plus proches et que je paierai si elles étaient surclassés mais on m’a répondu que l’hôtel était full je les ai cru mais au fur et à mesure des jours j’ai bien vu que l’hôtel était quasiment vide les chambres à côtes sont restées vides durant tous notre séjour (4 jours) et il y avait des dispo sur Booking

Hotel un peu vieillot

Svært sentral beliggenhet og beste av alt en 7/11 rett rundt hjørnet. Utsikten fra øvre bassenget.

Veldig slitt hotell. De holdt på å renovere noe og nærmest halve hotellet var stengt ned - inkludert mesteparten av fasilitetene. Dette var meget skuffende og ikke informert om på forhånd - noe som ville gjort at vi ville valgt et annet hotell. Frokosten var middelmådig med dårlig utvalg og var i tillegg i et midlertidig lokale som ikke var egnet for det. Fluer og fugler var kontinuerlig på maten, noe som gjorde det uhygenisk. Sengene er de verste og hardeste jeg noen gang har ligget i. Følte med som en 90 år gammel mann når jeg våknet om morgenen pga vond rygg og nakke som en følge av den harde sengen. Det øvre bassenget bar preg av at vannkvaliteten var dårlig da det hadde det øverste klornivået som er lovlig og forsvarlig å ha. Rommene og møblene var slitte og skitne med flekker

Mooi resort op een toplocatie: aan de hoofdstraat maar wat naar achteren gelegen dus rustig, twee minuten lopen van het strand. Zeer ruime schone kamer, twee grote zwembaden. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Het is op een helling gebouwd en als je een hoger gelegen kamer hebt word je daar met een golfkarretje naartoe gebracht.

Beliggenheten er bra, ligger fint i terrenget. Flott pool helt på toppen med kjempeutsikt!

Rommet var greit, men sengene var harde. Frokosten var spartansk og mye mat var uten kjøling. Veldig lite frukt til frokost. Umulig å få kjøpt seg en kaffe i løpet av dagen! (kaffebaren var stengt den uken vi var der) Anlegget bar spor av stor slitasje over mange år. Mye arbeidsstøy på dagtid (renoverte noen rom da vi var der).

Det var sentralt og gåavstand til alt vi ville gjøre. Super hyggelig personale som hjalp med alt de kunne. Vi er super fornøyd og kommer definitivt til å anbefale det videre.

Me encantó el resort en general, la habitación era muy grande, bonita, limpia y cómoda. Nos tocó en la zona más cercana a la recepción y teníamos una de las piscinas a pocos metros de la habitación. La piscina infinita era una maravilla, se veía el mar de frente y las islas. Para subir a esa piscina infinita que esta en la zona lata del hotel tenían un cochecito de golf con el que te acercaban. El hotel en general era muy bonito en medio de las montañas, te sentías en medio de la naturaleza pero lujosamente. Nosotros vimos hasta monos pasando por los caminos que hay para acceder a las habitaciones. Toda una experiencia, repetiría sin ninguna duda. La ubicación es excelente, a muy pocos metros de la playa, con locales para comer muy cerca del hotel, hay un 7 eleven nada más cruzar la calle y muchos puestos para reservar excursiones o traslados en barco para ir a ver las islas o las playas de alrededor. Y en la recepción del hotel también hay una chica que ofrece tours y traslados a las islas o para ir a otros lugares de Krabi.

Me gusto todo, no tengo nada malo que decir en general. Es una opción buenísima y muy bien de precio.

اخذت غرفتين وحده دبلكس والثانيه بأطلاله عالبحر كلهم ممتازين بدون اي سلبيات تذكر الاستقبال والتعامل جدا روعه الفطور ماجربته لكن قالو لي 400 بات للشخص واشوفه غالي كثير مقارنه بالبدائل حول الفندق

الشي الوحيد اللي يحتاج تحسين موضوع سياره الجولف فقط كثير تتأخر بالفتره بين 11 الى 3 العصر بسبب الضغط عندهم وتضطر اوقات تنزل او تركب مشي

Geweldige locatie dicht bij het strand en aan de hoofdstraat, terwijl je op het resort niks hoort van de drukte. Prachtig uitzicht over de zee vanuit het zwembad en uitgebreid ontbijt. Goedemorgen airco, geweldig personeel en -waarschijnlijk omdat het laagseizoen was- konden we voordelig excursies doen via het hotel. De relaxte kayak tocht is echt een aanrader!

Kamers perfect en goed schoon, maar ondanks dat het rustig was, lag sommige afval soms dagen bij het zwembad, dit werd niet opgeruimd.

Increíble alojamiento! Con unas vistas maravillosas y la habitación brutal, baño y habitación súper amplias. Todo el Resort es enorme pero tienen servicio para recogerte en la habitación y llevarte hasta la recepción. La piscina con unas vistas increíbles. Y personal simpático.

וואו וואו וואו. פשוט מושלם. זה לא מלון זה יותר כפר נופש שממש נכנסו לג'ונגל ,פשוט מטורף. היינו בחדר 815 שלדעתינו החדר הכי מושלם במקום. החדר על הבריכה מול כל הנוף של קראבי. אין לכם מה לחפש מלון אחר. רק פה ורק את סוג החדר שאנחנו לקחנו. פשוט מקום מטורף במרכז של המרכז של או נאנג.

De ligging

Het personeel is super traag, ik moest twee uur wachten op een salade die ik had besteld, toen ik hier wat van zei keek het personeel mij raar aan en deed er niks mee. Ook is het niet heel schoon, overal ligt afval, in de kamer zitten vieze plekken, vieze vlekken in het matras, vieze vlekken in de douche, de douchekop heeft niet eens een houder (je moet hem zelf vasthouden). Ook ligt het bed super hard en stinkt het beddengoed. De gym heeft bijna niks en er hangt een giftige stank waar ook niks aan werd gedaan. de bedden bij het zwembad liggen super oncomfortabel en zo kan ik nog even doorgaan. Kortom het was echt vreselijk!

لفطور ، مع انو دفعت على لفطور زيادة 500 شيقل وكانت توقعاتي انو لفطور بمستوى منيح بس للاسف كنت بعطي لفطور 3/10 .. لفطور نفس الاشي لمدة ال 4 ايام متغيرش وفش اشي كنت اقدر افطرو غير البيض وسلطة .

Staff were nice, but i had to go to reception from the pool to get a towel, i even asked them to bring it and i’ll tip whoever brought me a towel. I got to reception and they said they dont have towels and cant give me them, then told me to go to my room and wait for room service to give me a towel, which was fairly quick, but i came last year to this hotel and the service was much better. There shouldn’t be such an inconvenience getting a towel from the pool, and it being a 20-30 minute job just for me to get a towel. Other than that, it was okay and the people in the buggys were always nice

The location was excellent, very central. We couod get to everything we needed very easily, but the resort was still tucked up high behind main street so was not loud. Additionally the golf buggie to help you get to your room more easily was fanatstic and loved the view and Infinity Pool. The staff were very friendly.

The drain in the bathroom didnt work properly so sometimes there was a bad smell in the room.

Krabi Tipa is fabulous! The location is near everything, yet you don’t feel like you are in a busy area. The view is the best in Ao Nang! The property is very quiet, the staff is friendly and helpful. We were here for about two weeks, and enjoyed every minute of it!

Good location and gorgeous pool area, despite the constant smell of cigarettes and cannabis. The bell service staff were lovely and willing to help.

We were initially given 2x single beds with no option to change them until the following night, and to facilitate that we had to volunteer to vacate our initial room for the entirety of the day. The receptionist was apologetic, but ultimately did not provide any additional support or offers for additional services or an upgraded room as we have received elsewhere, despite the overbooking being due to THEIR mistake. The gym was simply terrible, not worth using, and there was almost constant noise from other rooms despite not being in peak season.

Lo cerca que estaba a la calle principal donde agarrar los botes a Realey Beach. Es un hotel muy bonito aunque se ve que es viejo.

El desayuno que brindan en el hotel es pesimo. Pagamos extra porque no lo teniamos incluido y todo estaba como viejo y frio y poca variedad.
