Me gustaria aver podido ablar dueño de hotel y eso va para usted es preferible de gastarse El Dinero intalaciones baños pierden agua parquet llega agua Puerta poner toallas piso para no se inunde avitacion griferia ducharse ras de suelo incredible dimos nuestras quejas porque encima tenias que utilizar tollas nuestras de baño piso pasan por la avitacion a limpiar se Las llevan no Dejan asi tuve que hir pedir reception I encina Dan dos tollas la verdad davan pena esta para trapos increible no se save tiempo llevavan hay por El olor me inagino umedad no puse secar con ella de por echo compramos dos tener fue demasiafo pero eso no es todo subimos picina amacas rotas paragua del sol rajados no se maintenian Veias los cliente intentar travarlos estavan mayoria rotos fu pesimo y michas mas cosas mejorar lo unico bueno personal de comedic del resto no uvo ganas de volver sin esajerar ponganse pilas ya da pena como los hotel del Puerto an llegaso a esto 4 Estrella dicen vergonzoso.

Sera mejor dicho si Ballas algo para todo vinos triste pero cierto y si no pregunten uespes .

Hotel antiguo, sin reformar, pero está limpio y medianamente bien conservado.

Cleaners didn’t come in for 2 days of the stay. The shower wasn’t useable as it flooded the room on the floor below and flooded the bathroom.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Our room had a disgusting sewage smell in the bathroom. We were informed that there was no other room as the hotel was fully booked that night. It was a serious breach of health and safety regulations to have us stay in this room for the night.

Very basic room , noisy road outside & patio door didn’t take it away or slat window in bathroom very loud, bed creaked every time I moved, shower had to be held as faced wall worn fixing, balcony had flower beds - or should I say weed beds ( no flowers) and over 50 cigarettes ends (as a non smoker not great to see) , doors banged when people left rooms, buffet breakfast looks good on first impression but wasn’t great. Beggers asking for money nearly every street , felt unsafe at times. Only two sockets in room, one could only use if holding in, tv looked unsafe with bare wires showing so didn’t use.

It was clean, staff very friendly and helpful

Lifts are very small and only one cocktail a day available according to the bar staff only if your all inclusive and it wasn’t a great one at that

on weekend night, super noisy with ugly live dancing in the lobby. it is too generous to call it singing or music. hotel facilities are old, owner seems to not interested in renovating, but only milking this old cow

Not all of the reviews for this hotel were good but we wanted a cheapish three night stay in town and therefore had sensible expectations. We were surprised and delighted at the standard of the hotel. As we were on B/B we cannot comment on other meals but found an amazing choice with lots of fresh fruit, wide range of meats and cheeses and a good fried breakfast. For a hotel of this size we thought breakfast was excellent. Room was bigger than expected, pool and sun loungers on roof with comfortable sun beds which we did not expect and hotel was in a central location but much quieter than we thought it would be. Staff were helpful and pleasant. We would certainly stay again.

Unfortunately not very much. Older lady in reception on arrival was lovely. Also the male restaurant manager was pleasant.The rest of the staff were not helpful at all.I work in hospitality here in Spain, it was very sad to see on a daily basis how unhappy they all look.

Breakfast was not the best. Very off putting to see Chips & veg in the morning. Fried Eggs were never cooked properly.My husband had to ask for them to be turned continuously, which the cook /chef??? wasn't pleased about. I usually eat a continental breakfast, even that was difficult. Banana's mostly black.Choice of food was the same for the whole week.Glad we had only went B&B. The rooms are dated. Cleanliness not the best, thread bearing towels. Light came through the blackout curtains as the backs of them have discentrgrated. Bed squeaked as you sat on it. Needs a bit of tlc. Even a coat of paint would hide the dirt on the walls. Plug sockets are all uneven possibly that's were our fridge should have been to hide them. Eventually we got a fridge after my 2nd attempt for a ice bucket.(Fridge was disgusting) Basically i was told by the receptionist to go back up to rooftop to get the barman to come and get me some ice. I was not impressed. I calmly asked her to pick her phone up and call him herself, luckily that's when the professional of the restaurant manager came in. He walked the whole 50 yards to get it for me. We needed a iron. Didn't mind putting a deposit down unfortunately we had no cash on us and they could not accept card? 4*??So we had to go and withdraw money for it. No ironing board though? 4*?? We had to buy or own towels for sun beds too. 4*?? Would not recommend this hotel, very dissatisfied with the rating it has. I think during covid they should have paid to have had it updated.

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star! The food was absolutely vile! Stale pastries, limp and bad salad, bad fruit, all buffer food was cold and looked like it was warmed from thr day before! No clean cutlery, no clean glasses or cups, the jugs of water had spors of black mould in them! The laminate floors was water damaged and coming apart! Ladders to the pool was broken and we witnessed multiple people injuring them selves! The beds was so uncomfortable we never slept due to pins and needles! There was noise on the landings till early hours in the mornings! Doors constantly slamming! No clean towels, no restock of toilet rolls, a foul smell in our room coming from the drains in the bathroom! Stray Cats roaming around the hotel! All the staff are very rude and didn't care about our concerns! None of the coffee or cold drinks machines ever worked! No sangria at all considering its a spanish resort! Never again would i ever saty in this accommodation and advise people to do there research first about this hotel it needs closing down! And the pics online are nothing like the hotel today!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The hotel has a very central location with walking distance to both the promenade and the beach. Futhermore, only 100 meters from the bus station. On the roof a swimming pool with a bar and fantastic view over the area. The staff was very friendly and service minded. I had a lovely room on the 7th floor and stayed here 6 days in January and again 7 days i February and have allready booked my next stay, so that speaks for itself!

Servicio de desayunos desordenado, la vajilla la sacaban mojada, no reponían las máquinas de zumos y café y leche, etc...Wifi sólo funcionaba en balcón y en hall de recepción, y no muy bien. Deberían compensar en el precio por no cumplir con los servicios que aseguran ofrecer.

Located in Northern Tenerife's green environment, outer the big parties and festivals, HC Hotel Magec offers you a lovely place to stay with a great value for the money. I got a qualitative room service every day. The senior lady in the restaurant was very kind to me at every meal, she is a really gold-hearted hostess. Both breakfast and dinner are continental-type with a wide variety of popular (and sometimes local) food with smart spicing. I definitely would return.

Making yourself understood in English is quite ponderous because of the strong Spanish accent and limited vocabulary. The two elevators are very busy in daytime and early in the evening, so usage of the stairs is far more effective even if your room is on an upper floor, that's sometimes unpleasant. And 4-stars-rating is an overkill.

the only good thing about this hotel is its location, close to the bus station and a walk to the beach. Apart from that all staff were nice and friendly.

The food was below average. Food and vegetables were not fresh and we ended up eating out for for the remainder of our stay. Even something as simple as a coffee was unfortunately poor. Rooms can definitely also do with updating with mould in the bathroom.

I (old lady of 72) spent 22 days at Magec and I enjoyed every single day! I have seen many negative reviews of Magec, but I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I had a lovely room with a large balcony on the 7th floor with a fantastic view over part of the city and the mountains and I actually also had a bit of a sea view. Nice bathroom with bathtub and a refrigerator in my room. I had booked with half board at a VERY affordable price! The breakfast was good with everything you can expect from a breakfast buffet of hot, cold and sweet - although the machine coffee was not the best coffee you can get. :) Dinner was OK, not 'gourmet food', but considering the price of my stay, it was possible to eat something 'acceptable' every evening - or eat 'out in the town' during the day and just supplement with a little dinner from the buffet in the evening. :) The staff at the reception, restaurant staff and maids were incredibly friendly and service minded - and I actually felt that they wanted to give me a good experience at the hotel (which I also had). The hotel's location is, in my view, a big plus. The room (I had) was super nice. The facilities at the hotel are really quite OK. So many thanks to all of you at Hotel Magec for a super nice stay - with my wishes for a Merry Christmas to the entire staff.

Actually nothing I didn't like! Of course, there were small things that might be a little annoying for some, as others have pointed out in their reviews: for example, long waits at the elevator in peak periods, often missing glasses/cups for breakfast for short periods. But what the heck, these are little things... With a bit of patience and a positive attitude, little 'problems' can turn into no problems at all, if you know what I mean. :)

Location was great, close to the bus station bars and restaurants. Breakfast was good, English and continental. Very quiet for sleeping. Furniture could do with an upgrade but other than that is was good value for money. We paid for a sea view room which are on the 7th floor, although the sun never reached the balcony as it was west facing. Swimming pool facilities are on the top floor with lovely 360 degree view's. I would stay here again.

Hyvä sijainti ja mukava uima-allas terassi. Lisäksi edullinen. Epämiellyttävä aamiaisranneke ja vain yksi huoneiston avain. Kun liikkui eri aikaan oli yritettävä sovitelle menoja jotta pääsi huoneeseen tarvittaessa - ala-arvoista. Siivousta ei tarvita joka päivä - aivan turhaa (osa ehkä haluaa osa ei). Hyllytilaa vaatteille vähän vaikka iso huone. Pöytä, jonka äärellä voisi esim. istahtaa ja pelata korttia kavereiden kanssa, puutuu vaikka se huoneeseen mahtuisi.

The breakfast and the service there. Would have been nice to have at least one tv channel in English, not just Spanish, German, and French. The self machine in the lobby did not always work.

Everything was excellent!...the rooftop sunbathing area was the highlight for me and the pool!.loved the location..so close to Bus Station..Staff sooo friendly..lots of smiles..happy. I shall return oneday!..Even printed my boarding card out for my flight home..Thank you!..You even gave me a large room overlooking Mount Teide..BIG THANK YOU!..I would call this hotel a 3.5 stars hotel..The roof top views are impressive and second to none..even with a pool!..Breakfast was an adequate spread..lovely start to the day.

The room was very big with a nice balcony and the shower was nice and hot.

No kettle for warm drinks first thing in the morning. I know duvet only blankets.

Location, room size, quiet , breakfast, roof top opens 10am so no reserving of sunbeds, staff friendliness, 3 BBC channels on TV.

Only thing was no handrail in room 7203 so taking a shower was treacherous also really old shower head could do with updating. Could do with more choice on tv in english.

I enjoyed the food. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Excellent choice. Plenty of supply. I liked the lobby. The lady who cleaned my room did a great job. I liked the peace and quiet, security and convenient to centre and bus station.

No tap water available at dinner time. I think a jug of tap water should be provided. Air con didn't work very well. Room was warmer than outside. Lowest I got temp with aircon on was 22dg C. Balcony door didn't lock. No English TV channels or news channels. Sky or CNN would have been good.

Very good location of the hotel - 100m from the central bus station, 100m from the city centre. The room and balcony were spacious. There was well equipped gym in the top floor, which exceeded my expectations. Great panoramic view from the roof terrace. Breakfast buffet was rich and diverse.

Hotel and room looked a bit shabby. Air-conditioning in the room didn't work. There was poor WiFi signal in the room, could connect only on balcony. The coffee on the breakfast wasn't very good.
